1. Story ideas
Base: character walks into a room, something is happening, they leave and our perception of them
changes.
I need a character, who looks like he has one intention based on his outfit and or prop but has
something completely different in mind. (He is not definite, only used as a filler.)
1. ‘I shot Cupid’ – inspired by Stela Cole song of same title.
Girl, heartbroken in bathroom setting. Makeup a mess, ugly sobbing. Comes into bedroom, collapses
onto bed still sniffling. Looks up at mirror, sees picture of ex and gets up to rip it from the middle
revealing her reflection. Leaves, walk into a room where either the ex or cupid is, maybe both, shoots
and leaves.
As I was on typing that out, the more ridiculous I believed it sounded? But when trying to think of
another option, the more I am picturing the Cupid one and the more I want to do it.
Where the woman slams the door open, cupid and the guy are making out where the guy stops and
freezes staring at our character. Cupid then turns around, close-up on shock expression, tear falls
from our character. In a POV shot, we look down at the cross bow which has a two-sided arrow,
facing red for love, on the other side is black for death. Our character angrily picks the weapon up,
flips the arrow and shoots at Cupid who is shot in the heart/chest and begins to turn cold. Male
character is still in a haze as our character turns around and walks out the room evilly.
Worm eye view, we see between female characters legs who walks over camera with the guy in
frame as the door closes. Credits roll.
Definitely getting more into this story than expected, here is what I need to keep in mind:
Need three cast members, our main who is clearly heartbroken. Cupid and the ex.
Cupid costume.
Cross bow turned weapon.
Gloomy setting for opening seuuence.
Pinky setting for the lover’s seuuence turned darker after the main event takes place.
Printed photo of the couple.
Leaving it at that for now, I am going to make a start on the script. A page is a minute of filming, so
two pages full will be needed.
