2. Introduction
Talerang was born in 2013 to be a simple, high quality solution to India’s
work readiness crisis. Talerang offers career training to students and
professionals with the purpose of creating a work-ready India. Talerang’s
focus is helping candidates to know themselves, then prepare themselves
(hard and soft skills) and eventually learn the art of proving themselves
in the field they choose. In 2016, they visited several colleges in smaller
towns across Andhra Pradesh in partnership with a Harvard-Stanford
research team. Talerang gained new insights and decided to go online,
with the hope to reach ambitious students at every college across the
nation and get them to their dream careers. Talerang announced the
launch of their platform, Talerang Online in 2018.

3. Introduction to Founder
Shveta Raina, a strong entrepreneurship professional and
Founder and CEO of Talerang. Shveta started her
entrepreneurial journey in 2013. Shveta has attended some
top-flight universities - Bachelor of Arts, Applied Mathematics,
International Relations, Economics from Brown University in
2007, and Master of Business Administration from Harvard
Business School in 2013. With many awards and recognitions
to her name, Shveta has been an all-rounder in her
professional journey so far. The visionary entrepreneur was
identified as a Rising Woman Leader 2015 by Economic Times
and Spencer Stuart.
