Target Audience Research
• From the research that I done I found that the main
readers of the magazine will be girls aged from 12-16
years.
• I also found that the current artists that they are
listening to are:
One Direction
Justin Bieber
Rihanna
Katy Perry
as they are young attractive artists that young readers
want to read about and want to be like these people.
Design
My choice for the front cover was
based on this as the colours used are
similar to mine because this is what
would stand out to the young
readers and the cover star is very
popular especially with young
readers.
I also used colour similar to this
because they are bright and girly and
would appeal to young teenagers.
Also the images they have used are
of current artists so this would also
appeal to the readers.
The font they have used is also big
and bright which will appeal to he
readers.
Design
I chose to use this design to create
my own design as they layout
would appeal to the young readers
because of the use of the bright
colours.
Also the font that was used was
appealing on the tagline and can be
read very clearly I had also chosen
to do this on double page spread as
it stood out on the page and would
appeal to the target audience.
Design
The layout I used for my contents
page was similar to this as I think this
layout is very organised and the
content is very well displayed.
Also the colours used on the content
page are bright and colourful which
will also appeal to the target
audience.
