Working Title:
Furever
What is it called? This can change if you think of something better later
Audience:
The age range for this magazine would be for people between 14-30 as they are the average age
range for the furry fandom. The fandom is very mixed for gender so I wouldn’t deicide a specific
gender for this magazine. The best thing about the furries is that they’re from tonnes of different
social statuses so I wouldn’t be able to choose a specific one. Additionally, I would call my
audience balanced since they’re a mixture of most the psychographic.
Rationale (approx. 100 words)
Over the year I’ve learnt many photoshop skills and how to make picture better quality and change
their aesthetic. This skill will help me as images will need to be changed around to make them fit
the magazine and help it flow with the page. My advergame was atop down strategy game suing
tanks. This will affect my project as i learnt many different shading techniques and drawing
techniques this will help design my page to make it aesthetically pleasing and also make it simple
to understand the page instead of it being gumbled up like some magazines have done.
Project Concept (approx. 200 words)
My basic idea for my magazine is to focus on the furry fandom. The basic idea i had in mind was a
page discussion furries themselves and the conventions. Whilst on the second page i would have
half for artists and half for fur suit makers. The front cover would a simple design with a character
in the middle holding an object of some sort which could relate to furries. The title would bold and
colourful with the writing on the front cover would be simple and to the point. The first page in the
magazine would have a brief explanation about the fandom and then move on to talk about the
conventions and the type of things happening at them. Whilst on the second page I would discuss
firstly artist and how they link to the fandom and then fur suit makers and their involvement in the
community
Evaluation (approx. 50 words)
I plan on evaluating my work so I can understand what went well within the work and the best way
to improve it. Additionally, I would look for any flaws that didn’t work out so I can filter them out of
my FMP. Moreover, any flaws I made I would evaluate to see if they could be improved or if they’re
just lost work. Furthermore, I would create weekly evaluations to see my progress then a final
larger evaluation. Finally, my evaluation needs to help understand everything and reflect on what
I’ve learnt and what I could improve on personally instead of the game. If I can find problems with
my own designs and the game, it will help produce improved future work.
