Contents Social Science
This year you will study Physical Geography, Prehistory and Ancient History.
Contents in every unit will be explained in English (50%) and in Spanish (50%).
Year-long project:
As an ongoing project for the first term, you must make your own mini-atlas by completing blank
physical maps of the different continents. You must hand it in to your teacher according to the
following chart. At the end of the term later you will take a test about what you learnt.

Final score:
o You must obtain more than 3.5 points in your exams to
average your examination marks.
o You must obtain 5 points in your examination marks in
order to calculate an average with the results of your
projects and your attitude to the subject.
Remedial exam:
o If the average of your examination marks is below 5
points, you must retake a single exam based on the
contents of the term.
o If you pass your remedial exam, it will be averaged with
the results of your projects and your attitude to the
subject.
Penalties
You´ll obtain a negative point in
case:
o Your behavior is
inappropriate.
o You forgot your
homework.
o You don´t deliver your
projects on time.
o Anyotherwrong actions
that can happen during
the lesson.
If you get a negative point, you
will lose -0.15 points in the final
score at the end of the term.
You cannot regain that point.
