OBJECTIVES OF THE LESSON: During this lesson students are expected to:
- Revise the vocabulary related to parts of the face that they worked on, through
flashcards
- Identify the parts of the face
- Describe monster’s faces
ROUTINES: Greetings. Song. Organize the calendar in the board. Put the date on the folder.
OPENING THE LESSON:
WARM-UP ACTIVITY (1)
I will start the class by showing the children different flashcards with the parts of the face. I will
ask the students about each picture and then put them on the board forming a face.
Questions: T-Student:
What is it?
Is this a mouth?
Is this hair? Are these teeth?
What colour is it?

BODY OF THE LESSON:
ACTIVITY 2: Speaking. (Whole- class activity)
Coming back with the film Monsters University, I will show the students four flashcards with
two girls and two boys from the film. And they will have to answer some questions about the
characters. Under each picture they will have a kind of incomplete sentence that says: He is . . .
. He has . . . / She is . . . . . She has . . . And they will use this structure for the following activity.
He is Sulley. He has got…
She is Sherry. She has got…
ACTIVITY 2: Reading comprehension
The children will do an activity in which they have to join the characters that we see in the
flashcards with their names and descriptions in which they have to fill the blanks with a
number and colours.

FOLLOW-UP ACTIVITY 3:
To round-up the lesson and to go to the end of the Unit, the students will do an activity in
which they have to put the names of the parts of the clown’s face.
COMPLETE WITH THE PARTS OF
THE CLOWN’S FACE AND PAINT.
This activity is to close the unit and to revise the parts of the face as well. Next Tuesday I will
evaluate them.
