• Advantages of working in this medium
Advantages of working in Photoshop is that you can
experiment and create different projects and animations also.
You can also create anything you want and edit both posters
and animations.
• Disadvantages of working in this medium
Disadvantages of working in this medium is that there is a lot
of tools to work with meaning that it can become quite
confusing. There is a lot of hidden tools, for instance, the
Pencil tool is underneath the Brush tool which you have to
hold and click on the brush tool to find it. This will confuse a
lot of people.

The similarities of these is that they both have the same color scheme and Christmas theme.
They also both have the mascot holding the Coca Cola bottle and also the same Coca Cola logo.
The differences of these is that there is a different mascot and also there is no social media on
the poster. They also have different selling strategies by using ‘’free drinks’’ to market the drinks.

Similarities between these both is that they
both represent Santa Claus as the mascot and
they also use the same color scheme and
Christmas theme.
Differences between these both is the
background is much more detailed and
has a snowy road behind him in the first
whilst the background in the second is plain.
They also don’t share the same quote, just the idea.

• Advantages of working in this medium
Advantages of working in Premiere is that you can
create and mix tracks and sound effects, making the
user learn more skills. It also allows the user to
express their creativity.
• Disadvantages of working in this medium
One disadvantage of working in Premiere is that the
application is a bit tricky to work with at first, but
once you have gotten the hang of it, its pretty easy.

7. Radio Production

The only similarity of this is that there is refreshed sounds.
Differences between the two is that they both give off a different vibe. My radio-advert gives
off a chilled summery vibe whilst the Coca Cola radio advert from YouTube gives off a kind of
spanish chilled vibe (to me.). The Coca Cola doesn’t have the traditional “coca cola” then a
slogan at the end of it, it just fades out.

The strengths in my radio product is that it gives off
the vibe I was looking for, the summer vibe.
Another strength in my product is that it sounds a
little more up to date with the modern music.
A weakness in my product is that I could’ve used
the sound effects a bit louder now that I listen to it
back next to a sound-effect filled radio advert. (last
slide).
A change I would make is make the coca cola bottle
opening sound-effect louder.

• Advantages of working in this medium
Advantages of drawing in pixels and using
photoshop to animate is that you are in control and
can create anything you want. It is a little bit hard to
draw and use pixels but once used to it, its easy.
• Disadvantages of working in this medium
Disadvantages of this is that drawing in pixels is hard
and also organizing layers and stuff normally goes
wrong with the animation but it is easy to fix it with
some help.

Similarities of these two is that they both have the Coca Cola kind of logo in there.
Differences of these is that they don’t run on the same genre. The first one is more of a
happy one whilst the other one is more of a sporty genre.
There is also more detail in the second one, meaning clearer pictures.

Strengths on this project is that I think I did the drawings well to say that it is made with pixels.
The music matches along with the summery vibe and creates an atmosphere for the advergame.
Weaknesses of this project is that although it is clear, it isn’t clear that the drink makes you
refreshed. If I could change this, I would make it more clearer for the viewer of what the outcome
is when drinking Coca Cola.

13. Comparison
• Which product do you believe advertises the product the
best? Why?
I think that the poster advertises the product best because
you can produce more creative content that will catch the eye.
• Which of your products is the most professional? Why?
I think that the radio production is more professional because
Premiere is kind of hard to work with, but once gotten used
to, the outcome can be quite professional sounding and
bettter.
