3. Graphic Design Production
• Advantages of working in this medium
– The advantages of working with Photoshop is that you
can create good looking designs and change them to
the way you like them.
• Disadvantages of working in this medium
– The only disadvantage is it may take a long time to
make your product just the way you like it and that
there are so many buttons and items to learn that it
can take time to learn how to use the software
properly.
4. Graphic Design Production
Differences
• The colours are different
as I haven’t only used red
as the original colour.
• I have added logos.
Similarities
• The same Coca Cola
bottle (glass).
• We both have a slogan.
• Both have Coca Cola
written somewhere on
the ad.
• Coca cola font is the same
5. Graphic Design Production
Weaknesses
• It looks a bit
plain.
• Might have
looked better if I
had added a
background.
Strengths
• It has a catchy
slogan.
• Creative.
• Variety of colours
to draw attention.
6. Radio Production
• Advantages of working in this medium
– This way of working and making an ad to
broadcast on air seems like a very easy way to
share the ad to millions of people.
• Disadvantages of working in this medium
– Working with Adobe auditions was a challenge to
me as I have never used it before.
7. Radio Production
In the newest Coca-Cola ad,
the company have only got a
song playing in the
background while they are
showing multiple people
drinking coke, whereas my
ad has 2 people speaking
followed by the music of the
most recent Coca-Cola ad
playing just after the talking
has finished.
Both my ad and coca
cola’s existing adverts
both have sound effects
of either a can or a
bottle opening followed
by the fizzing of the
coke. However, I have
also added voice sound
effects to try and be
more creative.
8. Radio Production
• Strengths of this Coca-Cola radio ad is that we have added our
own twist to Coca-Cola in general.
• However the problem to this ad is that we only had a time
limit of 25 seconds, which in my opinion is to short to create a
good radio ad.
• I would change the audio recording of me and Dan as I think it
was too quite. In my opinion you could barely hear Dan and it
wasn’t particularly clear enough to be presentable.
10. Video Game Production
• Advantages of working in this medium
– The advantages of doing an Advergame is that I
get the chance to learn something new and I can
enhance my knowledge in the areas that I would
like to pursue a career in.
• Disadvantages of working in this medium
– The disadvantages are that with using pixels, it
didn’t really look as realistic as I would have
liked…
11. Video Game Production
There aren’t very many similarities between my advergame and Chupa-Chups
advergame. However there are a few differences between the two. One of these
differences is the different software which essentially increases the quality of the
graphics.
12. Video Game Production
The difference is that I actually
changed the coke can to make it
more original as I didn’t
particularly want to use the
classic red.
For my Advergame I have
chosen to use the concept of
snake to show that the snake
wont give up chasing the can
of coke until he eventually
gets to the can and drinks it.
13. Comparison
• Which product do you believe advertises the product
the best? Why? I think my Poster is the product that
advertises Coca-Cola the best as I believe that the audience
(16-19 year olds) is more likely to read a poster than listen to
my advert on the radio and that my game isn’t as modern as
the games we play these days.
• Which of your products is the most professional? Why?
I think my poster is actually the most professional because in
my opinion it looks similar to adverts you find when you go
into town, restaurants and maybe even some shops.
