Advantages And Disadvantages Of Die Casting
1. Hot tear is an irreversible failure or crack formed in casting. It is commonly related to the
inadequate compensation of solidification shrinkage by melt flow with the occurrence of thermal
stresses. Controlling the right pouring temperature, prevention of rapid changes in section and
consistency in cooling rates can be done as remedies to this phenomenon.
2. Die Casting is a manufacturing process that can create geometrically complex metal parts by using
conveniently reusable molds that are commercially referred to as dies.
Processes:
 Clamping clean the earlier injection and then apply oil to ease the application of the next process
 Injection manage the temperature for the molten metal in the furnace in preparation for its delivery
to a hollow then inserted in the die.

A system that comprises all the essentials of molten metal from the ladle to the mold cavity is referred
to as the Gating System. Gating systems are commonly composed or element such assprue, sprue base
well, ingrate, pouring basin, runner, runner extension, and riser.
7. A sprue ought to be tapered in order to minimize if not prevent the occurrence of vortex. It can be
used to scatter the kinetic energy of the dropping stream and avoid splashing and turbulence as the
metal is subjected to spinning in the runner.
8. Defects of die casting are as follows:
a. Shrinkage defects happens when thick metal hardens because of the unavailability of standard feed
material.
b. Gas porosity bubble formation present on the cast after cooling process.
c. Mold shift commonly happens at the final line when parts of the cast are misassembled.
d. Rough surface finish phenomena wherein too much fluidity of the metal is occurs and hard pouring
takes place.
Usage of proper mold of sad, perfect placement of feeders and uniform pattern alignment are ways on
how these abovementioned defects can be prevented.
9. Die Casting Advantages:
 Remarkable finished outcomes
 Accurate dimensional

The Importance Of Imperialism In Joseph Conrad s Heart Of...
It has been argued that humans are mere products of their environment. In the era of imperialism,
artists argued that the nations were breeding grounds for corruption and greed. To illustrate this,
several artists, such as Joseph Conrad, utilized the victimized frontiers to display the injustices that
were happening. Conrad s Heart of Darkness uses the African environment s wildness and symbolic
darkness to demonstrate that imperialism s lack of moral restraints will result in one s environment
exploiting the evils hidden in their heart.
A symbol itself, the Congo River served as a catalyst that carried Marlow s idealistic mindset into the
heart of the dark jungle. In the river, one found that they were bewildered and cut off from everything
[they] had known once because the waterway ran on... into the gloom of overshadowed distances ,
which resulted in moments when one s past came back... in the shape of an unrestful and noisy dream
(Conrad 61). Marlow s prejudiced mindset against the natives originally presented an imperialistic
mindset of saving subhumans, however, his ideas clashed with an enigma of the living past, which
warped all ideas of reality. The Congo river blurred Marlow s reality to present the ultimate point that
imperialistic enlightenment could not compete with the deep rooted cultures of Africa s past. Although
Marlow initially took interest in Africa because of its blank space as the place where the merry dance
of death and trade goes on , he had to

The Importance Of Natural Language In Hamlet In William...
Something is Rotten in the state of Denmark (Shakespeare, 1.5.1780) How much power does a king
have? In Early Modern England this question was not one of politics and militaries, but of a natural
social order. The Great Chain of Being Places a King above his country; if the king becomes corrupted
so does the state and in turn, the natural world will become diseased and rank. Shakespeare s use
natural language in hamlet indicates an adherence to The Great Chain of Being. The corruption of the
natural world is a metaphor for the corruption of the state by the perverse actions of Claudius and
Gertrude. These metaphors refer to corrupt animals and plants, to disease and death, and ultimately
connect to the fall of man. Hamlet s ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Disease and infection, pungent and potent, is caused by this Murder most foul (1.5.1781). This blight
rests upon Claudius and Gertrude, and their sin, disease, and disorder is conferred to Denmark. As the
king and queen of Denmark, Claudius and Gertrude s actions directly influence their domain. Hamlet
reflects the great chain of being in this way, applying the rulers infections and guilt to Denmark. As
Marcellus says, Something is rotten in the state of Denmark. This statement is more than an ill portent,
but a judgement on a country led by rotten rulers. Like a weeds the sin overtook the country. Like
Gertrude s sexual depravity, tis an unweeded garden,/That grows to seed; things rank and gross in
nature (1.2.1772). These references to environmental corruption illustrate the decay that results from
moral pollution. Claudius and Gertrude s marital bed is already cursed: as the Ghost says, So lust,
though to a radiant angel linked/Will sate itself in a celestial bed/ and prey on garbage. If the king and
the queen are dining on garbage, the natural world must follow in turn. Hamlet describes crime and
conspiracy in terms of weeds, Repent what s past, avoid what is to come/And

Military Force Essay
What They Do
The members of the U.S Military service maintain protecting the U.S national defense. Some
members work in occupations such as a fighter pilot or infantryman. While others prefer to work in
the civilian workplaces to be doctors, nurses, or lawyers. Members of the military serve in the Army,
Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, or Coast Guard. Also, they could be in the components of the reserved
forces, such as Air National Guard or Army National Guard. The Military discriminates between
enlisted and officer careers. Enlisted personnel make up about 82 percent of the Armed Forces and
carry out military operations. The remaining 18 percent are officers. Officers are military leaders who

depend on the occupational specialty, unit, branch of service, and other factors. Most active duty
military personnel live and work on or near military bases and facilities throughout the United States
and the world.
Pay Hourly or Wage
Basic pay is based on rank and time in service. The pay in the Military is the same in all branches.
Members of the Armed Forces may receive additional pay based on their job assignment or
qualifications. For example, they receive additional pay for foreign, hazardous, submarine, or flight
duty, or for being medical or dental officers. Retirement pay is generally available after 20 years of
service. In addition to receiving basic pay, members of the military are either housed free of charge on
base or they receive a housing allowance. Members who serve for a certain number of years may
receive other benefits. These benefits may include educational benefits through the Montgomery GI
Bill, which pays for a portion of educational costs at accredited institutions. Also members may
receive medical care at military or U.S Department of Veterans Affair hospitals and guaranteed home

A Safe Place Dudley Randall
A Safe Place Dudley Randall orchestrates a powerful poem called, The Ballad of Birmingham. This
poem is more than a, roses are red, violets are blue type of thing. It is an anthem of sorrow from the
many people in the 1960 s who had to suffer through the devastating events that occurred in
Birmingham that night. More than that specific night, the author elaborates on the normalcy of racism.
The poem starts off with a courageous young girl who begs her mother to go with the people to march
for freedom. The mother, of course, answers no due to the violence that was occurring in the town.
Then finally, the girl asks to go to church, her mother without hesitation replies with a confident, yes.
Little did the mother know that her daughter was killed at the church due to radical forms of racism.
Randall brings truth to how heart wrenching this era was simply due to the outrageous acts of
inequality. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Due to the context clues, it sounds as if she s around ten or eleven. To be that young and ask one s
mother to go march for her freedom while kids around that age should be asking for another Barbie or
toy. Just in the first segement of this specific poem shows me how problematic the issue was and in
the same sense, how passionate the African American community is and was. Further in the poem the
mother lets her daughter go to the sacred place (17) which is the Baptist church in Birmingham,
Alabama. The people who placed these bombs within this sacred place (17) ruined the one place the
community felt safe. They ruined the place they joined together in front of their God to ask questions
as to why racism was even a thing. In the end of the poem the author ends with a desperate cry of, O
here s the shoe my baby wore, but baby, where are you? (17). The irony at the end is mostly due to the
common knowledge of what was occurring at the

The Importance Of Transfer Between Cells
Though the previous experiment does indicate that when a seed is inserted into a cell it can form
amyloid fibers, it fails to include parameters that describe how these proteins are transferred between
cells. In order for an infectious agent to become infectious it must have a method for not only leaving
the host cell but also entering a non infected cell. A study lead by Christian Münch set out to show the
pathway that a prion like protein in an amyloid fiber can transfer between cells. The first test that was
done in this study was to grow cells in a media containing a mutant SOD1 (a common ALS causing
protein) granule coated fibrils. These fibrils were labeled with Dylight dyes and when examined the
majority of the grown cells were ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
One clear example of how mutations in the Prion like domains can affect the protein is shown in a
study done by James Shorter and J. Paul Taylor, continuing the research of Hong Joo Kim et al.
During the original research, mutations were found in the PrLDs of both hnRNPA1 and hnRNPA2/B1,
that may have a connection to forms of multisystem proteinopathy (MSP) such as ALS. When looking
into a family that was afflicted by a MSP they found a mutation within RNA binding proteins known
hnRNPA2/B1. These proteins are two isoforms of the same protein with the longer of the two being
known as hnRNPB2. In this case both forms of the protein had a mutation in a highly conserved
portion of the protein. The mutation consisted of an aspartate residue, located at D290 in hnRNPA2
and D302 in hnRNPB1, being replaced with a valine. In a previous study conducted by Dr. Eric Ross
and James Toombs a prion propensity cart was created. According to this study the prion propensity of
the original aspartate was 0.080, much lower than that of the new valine residue which scores a 0.81.
Another contributing factor to the importance of this mutation is that it occurs within the C terminal
PrLD that is present in both proteins. The second mutation that this study followed was present in a
similar protein

The Problem Of Drug Use And Trafficking
Lil Draggin
(An essay on the problem of drug use and trafficking and the multiple possibilities of solving this
issue)
It has come to my attention that a certain issue needs to be addressed and if this issue continues to
grow then this town could see some serious changes and people could find themselves in serious
dilemmas. The issue I am addressing is drug use and trafficking that has been known of for many
years. Due to the fact that the least bit of attention has been brought upon drug trafficking it has begun
to grow and create a larger issue than some can even begin to imagine. Illicit drug trade according to
the world UN Drug Report is one of the largest global businesses, at some $322 billion (Shah,2008).
Now in a sense it might be a risky business to get into, but that is fast cash and might I say a good
amount as well. Now this isn t the only issue I will bring up when you notice that the attention is not
given to this issue drugs can be in high demand and because no one has done much to barricade these
drugs it is extremely easy to obtain these drugs. My solution for this problem comes in three s as a
nation we should not make any drug legal, create effective crime policies, and reducing demand. The
first way we will decrease the drug trade is by not making any drug legal to any civilian of this
country. Drug legalization increasingly merits serious consideration as both an analytical model and a
policy option for addressing the drug problem.

Market segmentation is dividing a market into direct groups of consumers who might separate
products requirements or marketing mixes, the process of classifying customers into groups with
different need and requirement. (Kotler et al 2010, p.264). In this proposal, the market segmentation
will be discussed from three aspects, which are demographic, behaviours and psychographic.

control of the process. This could be the competitive advantage that will beat other brands on the
market.
4. Decide whether qualitative or quantitative data (or both) will be applied in this research and briefly
discuss the suggestions.
In this proposal, a combination of qualitative and quantitative data should be applied.
The qualitative research approach aims to have a greater understanding on a specific problem by
focusing on small sample and non statistical data analysis. However, the quantitative research
approach focuses on the measurement and analysing the data in a statistical way. Furthermore,
qualitative research is more likely to ask open question which is different from close question that
quantitative research ask. In this proposal, the Beerenberg farm could use both research methods to
satisfy the research objects. (Zikmund et al. 2011, p.69) Firstly, the quantitative research method could
be used to identify the customer type and help organization have a brief idea. Secondly, the qualitative
research method could be used

Why is the death penalty still allowed throughout much of the U.S.? The process of prosecuting and

The advantages of life imprisonment far more outweigh the death sentence. Death Penalty

(NAKELL, 1978) The death penalty is much more expensive than life imprisonment without parole.
Capital trails are longer and more expensive at every step than other murder trials. Capital cases tend
to last several years and can consist of pretrial motions, expert witness investigations, jury selection,
and the necessity for two trials; one on guilt and the other on sentencing. Once an individual is
sentenced to death, the case automatically gets appealed to the state, then to the Court of Appeals and
finally to the Supreme Court. Guilty pleas in capital punishment cases are almost unheard of, plus
many of these trials result in life sentences anyway, so the state in which the trial is held ends up
paying for the costs of the capital case. The extreme costs of capital punishment are actually making
America less safe because financial and legal resources are being diverted from effective crime
fighting. When a prosecutor decides to pursue a capital case they go to extensive and costly means,
this may include the use of forensics, psychology, technology, and witnesses. The states (tax payers)
also suffer; security precautions imposed by the death sentence must be paid. In the end the offender
may die in prison, so there is no reliable data that the death penalty

Inhumanity In Elie Wiesel s Night
Inhumanity can bring the strongest of humans to a loss of faith. Elie Wiesel s memoir Night displays
this perfectly, set in a time where fear and hope prevail at the same time. Wiesel uses the motif of
inhumanity to unfold many themes that are universal in his novel. One of many themes in the book
broadens the idea of one s loss of faith. This is because of cruel punishment and it reveals the
indifference in humankind which leads to a loss of one s faith. In Night, it is shown that inhumanity in
a time of darkness robs humans of their faith. The theme that inhumanity in a time of darkness robs

The Innocence of Lamb in Songs of Innocence by William Blake
Songs of Innocence by William Blake collocates the naïve lives of children and loss of innocence of
adults, with moral Christian values and how religion has the capacity to promote cruelty and
prejudice. Blake was born in 1757, up to and after the French Revolution he wrote many works
criticizing enlightened rationalism and instead focused on intellectual ideas that avoided
institutionalization and propelled ethical and moral order. Blake s collection of poem exposes and
explores the values and limitations of secular and religious institutions. The Lamb focuses on children
s naivetés and innocence, but also curiosity in regards to faith, and ideas of nature and God. Though
naiveté and meekness are present throughout The Lamb , Blake focuses on an underlying Christian
theme of combining the pastoral with the spiritual. For example, the speaker, a boy, talks to a lamb, his
beastly counterpart. The boy, speaking to the lamb asks. Little lamb, who made thee? (Blake 1). The
opening query asked by the boy represents rhetoric of both the natural and spiritual world. Bryan
Aubrey, in his critical essay of the lamb states, everything in creation is embraced by the tenderness of
the divine...[there] is no separation between human self, the natural world, and the divine kingdom
(Aubrey 1). Therefore, just as Blake suggests the lamb does not just represent the innocent but is the
principal idea of the poem. The lamb represents unity among nature and religious creation.

altercations over land reflect deeper value systems regarding environments. The changing nature of
the land on which the Ute Reservation resided further complicated U.S. Ute relations. In looking at the

Mesopotamia Cuneiform History
3100 BC Mesopotamia and Cuneiform
The first recorded history of writing tablets comes from Sumer in 3100 BC. The chief of the temple
called the sangu (accountant) was responsible for noting animals and other goods to tally the temple s
wealth. The images of these goods were simply drawn on lumps of wet clay and lines drawn in
accordance with the number of each, allowed to dry in the sun and became a permanent tablet.
In Mesopotamia, clay tablets became the most common surface for documenting and writing. A piece
of reed, sculpted with a tapered or rectangular end became the first writing instrument. This initial
human script consisted of wedge shaped characters called cuneiform. This became the standardized
method of writing and is seen in Mesopotamia, Persia and Ugarit. Scribes were able to record
messages to be read with the understanding and concept of long lasting notations passing through time
and space. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

who modeled these intricate images in relief on plaster.
Scribes began writing on papyrus, a smooth surface created from tall, pithy sedge plants that grew

Having read every Harry Potter novel and seen every Harry Potter film (and a whole lot of fan
fiction), I believed for years that J.K. Rowling could do no wrong. However, after the release of the
disappointing Cursed Child script earlier this year, I was nervous for Fantastic Beasts and Where to
Find Them. Although not written by Rowling, Cursed Child had her stamp of approval. Was the Harry
Potter universe about to suffer over dilution to the point of ruining everything? No. Fantastic Beasts
confirmed, for me, that J.K. Rowling is still a magical writer who can do no wrong.

My First Day Of College
College Freshmen
My first day of college is one of the most important experiences of my life. The semester began on
August 28, 2017. In that morning, I had plenty of time compared to high school. I overslept because I
knew college starts only at 10 a.m. I had an alarm set for 9 a.m. Once I woke, I took a shower and got
ready. HACC is about minimum 8 minutes away from my house. By 9:40 a.m., I was on my way to
the Harrisburg Area Community College. I was full of confidence that I will reach the campus on
time, but the opposite happened. It was my life goal to go to college, however, there came the
complication because I was unaware of the incomprehension and unfamiliarity of being freshmen in
college. As a former new student, I got a little lost before I arrived at my math class. Once I reached
the HACC parking lot, I wasted more than 10 minutes going around the parking lot looking for an
empty spot. While I was driving around, I felt very frustrating. Besides, I was running late to class.
Unfortunately, I did not consider a full parking lot. Suddenly I remembered, when I came to college
orientation I parked my car across a small bridge where a new parking lot was under construction. I
drove there and found out they finished constructing the new parking lot. There were a lot of empty
parking spots. I parked my car and quickly walked toward Whitaker Hall rushing to find my math
class. I had a map of the campus, which listed all names and locations of specific buildings. In

Intimidated High School Students
While there are benefits of attending college, there are also significant challenges that affect students.
Specifically, high school students in particular can be intimidated with the overall process of going to
college. For instance, finalizing paperwork, completing financial aid, adjusting to their new
environment, and meeting new people. In addition to these adjustment, students have to deal with the
increase costs, which makes college more expensive and less affordable for its students. The increase
in college expenses is a result of the decline in state revenues, and schools receiving less in
appropriations. According to Smith (2014), in 2010 11, public universities in state tuition increased by
8.3%, public out of state tuition ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
It is very important that students are well informed on the front end before making a final decision on
whether or not to attend college. A college education is an investment. The rate of return has been well
documented in the research. I agree that there numerous benefits in earning a college degree because
my experience as a graduate confirms that a college degree provides more opportunities. Especially
from top level schools. Students who take advantage of the opportunities that college offers are more
informed and are ready to compete global economy. The challenges that many students face during the
planning stages can affects their decision to attend

Essay on Sun Chief
The religion detailed and examined throughout Don Talayesva s Sun Chief can be difficult to
understand and near impossible to appreciate. At first glance to the casual reader it can appear shallow
and ridiculous; a religion created around the wants and needs of the Hopi but not based on any
empirical or even supposed sacred evidence. When coupled with The Sacred Canopy however, the
reader begins to understand the simplistic beauty of their religion providing necessary guidance and
support to the Hopi tribe. The reader also is able to relate to Don s religion in terms of the love one has
for his or her own dogma and the importance it plays in an individual s life.
It is important to understand that Don s religion was not his by ... Show more content on

It is not fair for any religion to dismiss another as absurd, because of the inherent differences in what
different religions include or consider miracles , oracles , or rituals . Opposing religions consider each
other ridiculous equally and their own dogma is revered as true equally. To Don Talayesva as a child,
Christianity was nothing more than something white people talked about while he waited for their free
clothing or candy. This is soundly equivalent to the care and consideration non Hopis give to the
thought of dancing for rain. In terms of nomos, the Hopis religion served just as well as any could
have. At birth babies are born onto sacred sand. When they need rain for crops, the Katcinas dance in
the plaza. To live a healthy life and bear many children, Hopi s have intercourse with the Salt Woman.
These rituals and traditions make sense to the Hopi and provide mental security. It shields them from
terror and imposes a meaningful order upon reality, as put in The Sacred Canopy. The Hopi can use
their religion to eschew helplessness and a fear of being spiritually alone in the world. It provides
them with answers and makes them calm and happy. These qualities make their religion successful as
defined by The Sacred Canopy s requirement of nomization for a meaningful life. From the
perspective of a non Hopi, their religion would probably be viewed as a convenient set of beliefs and
practices thought up by a group of

Lynching, Frederic Douglas and Black Women in Society
Can t believe it s already over. I know I didn t say much but I can honestly say I m grateful and I really
enjoyed this class. I was embarrassed of the little I knew about black history, my history and just the
event that s going on today. I ve meet some of the coolest, passionate, smartest and hands down
funniest group of people I ve ever meet. This class made me hungry to learn, to step my game up, to
not only prove that I can do but to myself as well. I ve learned about so many events and people in this
class, but these five subjects were so far my favorites.
Lynching
Lynching, I would have to said was one of the most interesting and disturbing topics we have talked
about. The word lynching came from the name Charles Lynch who was an owner of land in Virginia in
1790. Charles would hold illegal trials of people who would steal, cheat, basically break the rules in
his front yard. Charles would hang the victims and hang and tied them to a tree in front of his home.
Lynching is unlike from any other murders because it s committed outside the boundaries by a mob of
white people wanting to achieve against blacks for whatever blacks did which was nothing. In the19th
century, lynching frequently enjoyed the approval of the public. Lynching had become an event, where
people from different towns would come and watch an African Americans get lynched. It is a practice
that was committed, for white people to show there were more superior to African Americans. In the
late,

The Rise of Cult Activity Essay
The Rise of Cult Activity
Cult activity has been on the rise over the past few decades. With it there has been an increase in the
fear surrounding it. From this fear, society has learned much about cults, how they get members and
what to look out for as far as cult recruiters go. Society as a whole has also learned what can be done
to deal with cults. Cult activity and the fear that surrounds it
Throughout the last couple of decades more and more stories of illegal cult activity or murders by
satanic cults appear on the news each night. This surge of reported cult activity has caused a spark in
public interest. There has been a large increase in the fear that surrounds cults over the past couple of
years. A cult is a ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
It was in February of 1970 that the motive of these murders was discovered (Bugliosi, 1974, 283).
Through police investigation, it was discovered that the murders were cult related. Charles Manson
and members of his cult, known as The Family, were to blame. Manson and family lived on a ranch in
California. Manson was an avid fan of The Beatles and believed that this rock band spoke to him
though their lyrics. He particularly liked The Beatles White Album which included the song Helter
Skelter. Manson interpreted this song s lyrics as a prophecy of a race war that would take place
between the blacks and the whites. In this war, he believed the black man would rise up and slaughter
all of the whites. So Manson s plan was to take his family out into the desert and hide in a bottomless
pit until the war was over. After the war, he believed the blacks would realize all they ever knew was
taught to them by the white man, and if they wanted to survive, they would need a white person to tell
them what to do. That is when Manson and his Family would surface from the bottomless pit, and be
the rulers of the world as the master race (Bugliosi, 1974, 284 290).
The only problem with Manson s prophecy was that Helter Skelter never came. So he sent Family
members out to kill Sharon Tate and friends and instructed them to make it appear as if the blacks

Ikea s Global Sourcing Challenge Indian Rugs And Child Labor
IKEA S GLOBAL SOURCING CHALLENGE INDIAN RUGS AND CHILD LABOR
In 1995, Marianne Barner, IKEA s manager for carpets, faced a difficult situation when one of their
Indian rug supplier apparently was involved with the use of child labor in the manufacture of its
products for IKEA. Even though they had a contract where IKEA explicitly forbid the use of child
labor. These Allegations generated mixed opinion regarding the future of all the Indian carpet
suppliers and the company was studying the future impacts of its decision.
In order to assess and give recommendations to IKEA, it is important to fully understand the
operations and the values that drive the company, ant its philosophy. Since was founded in 1954 by
Ingvar Kamprad the Swedish company s vision of creating a better life for the many people inspired
them to develop high quality and lower cost products in the furniture business, and almost a decade
later, after they consolidate in the Swedish market, they made the decision to expand abroad opening
stores in Northway and Denmark respectively (Exhibit 1). With a relatively rapid expansion the
company needed to transmit their unique philosophy and created the testament of a furniture Dealer

The History of Training As stated earlier in the paper the course content has undergone several
changes over the past 10 years. The beauty industry has continued to grow nationally through the
economic downturn, with an 18 percent increase in the number of salons nationwide over the past
three years. The cosmetology industry never dies down, even in a recession, says Michelle Woodard,
admissions coordinator for Douglas J Aveda Institute in Grand Rapids. Everyone will always want to
look beautiful. At the outset of this period there was little demand for specialised treatments.
Therefore, the training requirements were geared up to obtain a standard set of skills for all graduates.
Over the past 3 years, as treatments become more varied, the courses have had to adapt and offer more
diverse qualifications. The awarding bodies have had to be aware that during this period of transition
too many employers remain confused and bewildered by the skills infrastructure. (BBC News
13.11.08). This is due to the qualification constantly changing and salon owners not being made aware
of these changes. This has been a factor the awarding bodies have had to consider when implementing
any changes. Courses used to involve the student attending college 5 days a week. This has been
changed for two reasons. The colleges have looked to reduce costs whilst maintaining the same level
of attendees. Also, many students could not make

My Time In High School
Throughout my time growing up I have had a lot of people tell me that high school will be the time of
your life. In many ways it is. High school for me would be described as fun, thrilling, exciting, hard
working, and some very exhausting years of my life. My years at Millry High School have not been
too long compared to others, however my memories are of great lengths. During my time as a high
school student, I have tried to become a fairly active student. Participating in Bible club, drama club,
yearbook, running for student council, homecoming court, being nominated best personality, and
Distinguished Young Women.
My time in high school have been some of the greatest times I have had thus far, with as little bumps
in the road as possible. Now don t get me wrong, I had a lot to learn during my time as a high school
student. During these years I have learned how to be myself, to work my tail off, and that nothing is
going to be handed to you. One of my biggest regrets I encountered during my time as a high school
student was not trying my hardest. I never really had to try much in elementary and middle school. It
just sort of came to me. When I entered high school, I thought it would be the same. I was very wrong.
I ended up going to summer school the summer of my ninth grade year for my grades. I found it so
embarrassing when everyone would ask if I could hang out and I would have to say ¨I can t I have
summer school¨. Definitely not one of my proudest moments there.

Tipping Exercises
Who would not want a lean and ripped physique? A lot of people want such a physique but wanting
the physique and actually acquiring one are two different things. Can you acquire it? You can develop
a ripped and defined look as long as you are willing to put the right effort into the process. Here are
some insights into how to do so.
The way you get ripped is through a mix of weight training, diet, and exercise. Such a three pronged
approach needs to complement the goals of having a lean and defined body. You do not want to
perform exercises that promote a different goal since those exercises will take you down a completely
different path. The current path you are interested in is becoming defined so you need exercises and
strategies that promote ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
You won t get a ripped physique from weightlifting alone. You will need to eat the proper diet and this
is achieved by cutting calories and eating healthy. The less fat you have on your frame, the more
ripped you will appear. That means you will need to diet in such a way that you become quite leaner
and more cut. If you are not serious about cleaning up your diet, you will not become ripped. That is a
fact!
And yes, you will positively need to perform a lot of cardio work. There are two reasons for this. First,
when you are doing a great deal of cardio work, you will burn more calories which means of course,
you will end up with a leaner and more ripped physique. There is another benefit to cardio work that
some might not be completely aware of. Namely, when you are doing your cardio sessions, you are
engaging all the muscles in your body and helping them to become stronger and more defined. The
higher the intensity of your cardio work the greater the potential for this outcome to occur.
This three pronged approach has many merits. In fact, you really would have a tough time getting a
ripped physique if you did not integrate all three of these components into your workouts. Those that
do put the proper effort into their workout sessions and also eat the right diet might find their goals of
becoming ripped and shredded could take as little as a few

Summary OfThe Merger Of Two Competing Hospitals
Healthcare Management Final Paper
In the short story The Merger of Two Competing Hospitals , we see both Porter Regional Medical
Center and Banner Regional Medical Center reach an agreement to form a merger. Both Hospitals had
at least one major current flaw and by teaming up they no longer had to worry about the aspect of
competing with each other. PRMC faced the problem of annually losing large sums of money. While
over at BRMC the problem laid within the infrastructure and not the problem of money.
After the completion of both hospitals coming together to form a newly named hospital, the question
of creating an executive team in charge of management comes about. In my opinion, before moving
forward in any way to create the executive team, candidates must be considered for their potential
leadership. Just imagine how hard it would be to fail if the newly created hospital looked for
leadership comparable to Arthur T. DeMoulas, when hiring for the executive team. While Market
Basket is not a hospital, the whole idea of the managers acting as leaders would be great for a new
hospital1. This could make all employees act loyal and show great customer service, and lastly having
all the customers (patients) come and leave happy.
According to MIT Sloan Management Review, there are six steps that should be taken to properly
rebuild a management team. The first includes Reducing Role Ambiguity. This is essentially
individuals who leave the new company because of the uncertainty the future holds for them. To help
this, the board should do its best to ensure the company will be fine to the new executive team, as well
as quickly remove any individuals who doubt the new company will be a success. Having just a few
individuals who doubt the potential of the merger could quickly ruin a whole team and bring moral
down. The second step states Due Diligence Around Talent Is a Dangerous Corner to Cut . To solve
this, the board needs to get to know all the managers on both sides of the merger and actually find out
about their full talent potential. The third part states Recognize Old Habits Die Hard But Not All
Should . Each company before the merger had a certain way of doing things, and while some of those
methods

Marketing Plan for an Existing Business
Executive Summary

lines and offer do it yourself items. Our existing location can be renovated to add the space needed for
this service. We would also like to build a new facility with a larger work area for the do it yourself
projects and kilns in the back area. The back area would be large enough to hold the inventory for both
store locations. To accomplish these objectives, land needs to be found and purchased for the new
facility. Bank financing is necessary for the building of this new facility but not needed for the
renovations at our existing location. Dragonfly Designs would also like to begin delivering our own

plan to open an area in our shop to offer different art classes and do it yourself project options. We
plan to buy some of the artwork made there by local artists and sell it in the showroom. We would like
to start this service within the next 60 days. These goals will allow us to obtain the total revenue
increase of 25% this year we are aiming for.
Core Competency
There is only one store within a 60 mile radius that handles stained glass and there is no place that
handles porcelain designs locally. To be competitive on the Internet, price is key in getting customers
to purchase from us. A user friendly website also helps in increasing purchase orders. Our original
designs and made to–order products help to ensure satisfaction. Our shipping program is a big draw
for consumers. Since the shipping is included in the price of the product, many consumers choose us
over the competition.
Situation Analysis
Internal Focus
We have several strengths within our company. There are not many other businesses of our type in this
area. Our pricing can be higher since our product is custom made for the individual. We have low
overhead and do not need much space to manufacture our products. Our company is also able to
handle repairs in our own shop. Our artists are all skilled craftsmen from various backgrounds and

Analysis Of The Movie Sea World Of Hurt
Sea World of Hurt
When I was little, I used to always want to go out and visit Marineland. At the tender age of 5 I was
mesmerized Free Willy, the kid s film about an orca who is freed into the wild by a little boy. I was
amazed by the creature on the screen every time I watched the film, it never got old. Of course at my
age I did not quite understand why Willy had to be freed from the seemingly nice pool he was allowed
to be living in. It was what made me want to visit Marineland to see one of these guys up close. I
visited for the first time when I was about 10, and I do not remember everything but what I do
remember is that I was more enticed with the rides and the gift shop than I was with their orcas. I used
to question why, but now I get it. The orca we saw was underwhelming, because of the sheer sadness
it emanated from the other side of the glass where it swam around in its small living area. It was not
Willy, the fun orca from my childhood. It was the stark reality of a combination of solitude and
mistreatment. I learned recently that the orca in Free Willy was released from captivity 9 years after
the film came out in 1993, and it died in the wild after only a year because it was too dependant on us.
We are the ones that created this mess. This mess of literal killer whales, of poor living conditions of
these animals, the way we have ripped them from their natural habitat and put them up for show.
SeaWorld plays a big role in this business. And SeaWorld, like all

It is commonly related to the inadequate compensation of solidification shrinkage by melt flow with the occurrence of thermal stresses. Controlling the right pouring temperature, prevention of rapid changes in section and consistency in cooling rates can be done as remedies to this phenomenon. 2. Die Casting is a manufacturing process that can create geometrically complex metal parts by using conveniently reusable molds that are commercially referred to as dies. • 3. The Importance Of Imperialism In Joseph Conrad s Heart Of... It has been argued that humans are mere products of their environment. In the era of imperialism, artists argued that the nations were breeding grounds for corruption and greed. To illustrate this, several artists, such as Joseph Conrad, utilized the victimized frontiers to display the injustices that were happening. Conrad s Heart of Darkness uses the African environment s wildness and symbolic darkness to demonstrate that imperialism s lack of moral restraints will result in one s environment exploiting the evils hidden in their heart. A symbol itself, the Congo River served as a catalyst that carried Marlow s idealistic mindset into the heart of the dark jungle. In the river, one found that they were bewildered and cut off from everything [they] had known once because the waterway ran on... into the gloom of overshadowed distances , which resulted in moments when one s past came back... in the shape of an unrestful and noisy dream (Conrad 61). Marlow s prejudiced mindset against the natives originally presented an imperialistic mindset of saving subhumans, however, his ideas clashed with an enigma of the living past, which warped all ideas of reality. The Congo river blurred Marlow s reality to present the ultimate point that imperialistic enlightenment could not compete with the deep rooted cultures of Africa s past. Although Marlow initially took interest in Africa because of its blank space as the place where the merry dance of death and trade goes on , he had to ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 4. The Importance Of Natural Language In Hamlet In William... Something is Rotten in the state of Denmark (Shakespeare, 1.5.1780) How much power does a king have? In Early Modern England this question was not one of politics and militaries, but of a natural social order. The Great Chain of Being Places a King above his country; if the king becomes corrupted so does the state and in turn, the natural world will become diseased and rank. Shakespeare s use natural language in hamlet indicates an adherence to The Great Chain of Being. The corruption of the natural world is a metaphor for the corruption of the state by the perverse actions of Claudius and Gertrude. These metaphors refer to corrupt animals and plants, to disease and death, and ultimately connect to the fall of man. Hamlet s ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Disease and infection, pungent and potent, is caused by this Murder most foul (1.5.1781). This blight rests upon Claudius and Gertrude, and their sin, disease, and disorder is conferred to Denmark. As the king and queen of Denmark, Claudius and Gertrude s actions directly influence their domain. Hamlet reflects the great chain of being in this way, applying the rulers infections and guilt to Denmark. As Marcellus says, Something is rotten in the state of Denmark. This statement is more than an ill portent, but a judgement on a country led by rotten rulers. Like a weeds the sin overtook the country. Like Gertrude s sexual depravity, tis an unweeded garden,/That grows to seed; things rank and gross in nature (1.2.1772). These references to environmental corruption illustrate the decay that results from moral pollution. Claudius and Gertrude s marital bed is already cursed: as the Ghost says, So lust, though to a radiant angel linked/Will sate itself in a celestial bed/ and prey on garbage. If the king and the queen are dining on garbage, the natural world must follow in turn. Hamlet describes crime and conspiracy in terms of weeds, Repent what s past, avoid what is to come/And ... • 6. A Safe Place Dudley Randall A Safe Place Dudley Randall orchestrates a powerful poem called, The Ballad of Birmingham. This poem is more than a, roses are red, violets are blue type of thing. It is an anthem of sorrow from the many people in the 1960 s who had to suffer through the devastating events that occurred in Birmingham that night. More than that specific night, the author elaborates on the normalcy of racism. The poem starts off with a courageous young girl who begs her mother to go with the people to march for freedom. The mother, of course, answers no due to the violence that was occurring in the town. Then finally, the girl asks to go to church, her mother without hesitation replies with a confident, yes. Little did the mother know that her daughter was killed at the church due to radical forms of racism. Randall brings truth to how heart wrenching this era was simply due to the outrageous acts of inequality. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Due to the context clues, it sounds as if she s around ten or eleven. To be that young and ask one s mother to go march for her freedom while kids around that age should be asking for another Barbie or toy. Just in the first segement of this specific poem shows me how problematic the issue was and in the same sense, how passionate the African American community is and was. Further in the poem the mother lets her daughter go to the sacred place (17) which is the Baptist church in Birmingham, Alabama. The people who placed these bombs within this sacred place (17) ruined the one place the community felt safe. They ruined the place they joined together in front of their God to ask questions as to why racism was even a thing. In the end of the poem the author ends with a desperate cry of, O here s the shoe my baby wore, but baby, where are you? (17). The irony at the end is mostly due to the common knowledge of what was occurring at the ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

A preliminary study by the Center for Disease Control (CDC) found children who received the HiB vaccine ... were found to be 5 times more likely to contract the disease than children who had not received the vaccine. In the New England Journal of Medicine July 1994 issue a study found that over 80% of children under 5 years of age who had contracted whooping cough had been fully vaccinated. If one would ask these sensible questions, one would become very enlightened about vaccine production. I warn you now, discussing vaccine production will turn your stomach. Vaccines are made from the most vilest and filthiest substances on the earth. Since the definition of abomination is anything that is filthy , the term describes vaccinations adequately and truthfully. The vaccine cauldron is full of putrid junk from bodies exposed to disease and excreting morbid purulence. • 9. The Importance Of Transfer Between Cells Though the previous experiment does indicate that when a seed is inserted into a cell it can form amyloid fibers, it fails to include parameters that describe how these proteins are transferred between cells. In order for an infectious agent to become infectious it must have a method for not only leaving the host cell but also entering a non infected cell. A study lead by Christian Münch set out to show the pathway that a prion like protein in an amyloid fiber can transfer between cells. The first test that was done in this study was to grow cells in a media containing a mutant SOD1 (a common ALS causing protein) granule coated fibrils. These fibrils were labeled with Dylight dyes and when examined the majority of the grown cells were ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... One clear example of how mutations in the Prion like domains can affect the protein is shown in a study done by James Shorter and J. Paul Taylor, continuing the research of Hong Joo Kim et al. During the original research, mutations were found in the PrLDs of both hnRNPA1 and hnRNPA2/B1, that may have a connection to forms of multisystem proteinopathy (MSP) such as ALS. When looking into a family that was afflicted by a MSP they found a mutation within RNA binding proteins known hnRNPA2/B1. These proteins are two isoforms of the same protein with the longer of the two being known as hnRNPB2. In this case both forms of the protein had a mutation in a highly conserved portion of the protein. The mutation consisted of an aspartate residue, located at D290 in hnRNPA2 and D302 in hnRNPB1, being replaced with a valine. In a previous study conducted by Dr. Eric Ross and James Toombs a prion propensity cart was created. According to this study the prion propensity of the original aspartate was 0.080, much lower than that of the new valine residue which scores a 0.81. Another contributing factor to the importance of this mutation is that it occurs within the C terminal PrLD that is present in both proteins. The second mutation that this study followed was present in a similar protein ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The Problem Of Drug Use And Trafficking Lil Draggin (An essay on the problem of drug use and trafficking and the multiple possibilities of solving this issue) It has come to my attention that a certain issue needs to be addressed and if this issue continues to grow then this town could see some serious changes and people could find themselves in serious dilemmas. The issue I am addressing is drug use and trafficking that has been known of for many years. Due to the fact that the least bit of attention has been brought upon drug trafficking it has begun to grow and create a larger issue than some can even begin to imagine. Illicit drug trade according to the world UN Drug Report is one of the largest global businesses, at some $322 billion (Shah,2008). Now in a sense it might be a risky business to get into, but that is fast cash and might I say a good amount as well. Now this isn t the only issue I will bring up when you notice that the attention is not given to this issue drugs can be in high demand and because no one has done much to barricade these drugs it is extremely easy to obtain these drugs. My solution for this problem comes in three s as a nation we should not make any drug legal, create effective crime policies, and reducing demand. The first way we will decrease the drug trade is by not making any drug legal to any civilian of this country. Drug legalization increasingly merits serious consideration as both an analytical model and a policy option for addressing the drug problem. ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

(NAKELL, 1978) The death penalty is much more expensive than life imprisonment without parole. Capital trails are longer and more expensive at every step than other murder trials. Capital cases tend to last several years and can consist of pretrial motions, expert witness investigations, jury selection, and the necessity for two trials; one on guilt and the other on sentencing. Once an individual is sentenced to death, the case automatically gets appealed to the state, then to the Court of Appeals and finally to the Supreme Court. Guilty pleas in capital punishment cases are almost unheard of, plus many of these trials result in life sentences anyway, so the state in which the trial is held ends up paying for the costs of the capital case. The extreme costs of capital punishment are actually making America less safe because financial and legal resources are being diverted from effective crime fighting. When a prosecutor decides to pursue a capital case they go to extensive and costly means, this may include the use of forensics, psychology, technology, and witnesses. The states (tax payers) also suffer; security precautions imposed by the death sentence must be paid. • 18. The Innocence of Lamb in Songs of Innocence by William Blake Songs of Innocence by William Blake collocates the naïve lives of children and loss of innocence of adults, with moral Christian values and how religion has the capacity to promote cruelty and prejudice. Blake was born in 1757, up to and after the French Revolution he wrote many works criticizing enlightened rationalism and instead focused on intellectual ideas that avoided institutionalization and propelled ethical and moral order. Blake s collection of poem exposes and explores the values and limitations of secular and religious institutions. The Lamb focuses on children s naivetés and innocence, but also curiosity in regards to faith, and ideas of nature and God. Though naiveté and meekness are present throughout The Lamb , Blake focuses on an underlying Christian theme of combining the pastoral with the spiritual. For example, the speaker, a boy, talks to a lamb, his beastly counterpart. The boy, speaking to the lamb asks. Little lamb, who made thee? (Blake 1). The opening query asked by the boy represents rhetoric of both the natural and spiritual world. Bryan Aubrey, in his critical essay of the lamb states, everything in creation is embraced by the tenderness of the divine...[there] is no separation between human self, the natural world, and the divine kingdom (Aubrey 1). Therefore, just as Blake suggests the lamb does not just represent the innocent but is the principal idea of the poem. The lamb represents unity among nature and religious creation. ... Conference Paper Conference Paper Outline for Studies in Teaching a Specialist Subject, DID7230 Cert Ed Word Count 2116 Lesley Ibbotson University Centre Barnsley Is the Beauty Therapy Qualification Meeting the needs of the Industry? Introduction Many students who are undertaking, or have completed a Beauty Therapy qualification, do so on the assumption that the skills and qualifications they gain will be enough to secure them a job in the industry. The Babtac website states that only 60% of graduates find employment within the first 6 months of completing their training and only 45% are still in employed in the industry after two years. The low percentages could be influenced by several factors including the current economic backdrop, over ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The History of Training As stated earlier in the paper the course content has undergone several changes over the past 10 years. The beauty industry has continued to grow nationally through the economic downturn, with an 18 percent increase in the number of salons nationwide over the past three years. The cosmetology industry never dies down, even in a recession, says Michelle Woodard, admissions coordinator for Douglas J Aveda Institute in Grand Rapids. Everyone will always want to look beautiful. At the outset of this period there was little demand for specialised treatments. Therefore, the training requirements were geared up to obtain a standard set of skills for all graduates. Over the past 3 years, as treatments become more varied, the courses have had to adapt and offer more diverse qualifications. The awarding bodies have had to be aware that during this period of transition too many employers remain confused and bewildered by the skills infrastructure. (BBC News 13.11.08). This is due to the qualification constantly changing and salon owners not being made aware of these changes. This has been a factor the awarding bodies have had to consider when implementing any changes. Courses used to involve the student attending college 5 days a week. This has been changed for two reasons. The colleges have looked to reduce costs whilst maintaining the same level of attendees. Also, many students could not make ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 31. My Time In High School Throughout my time growing up I have had a lot of people tell me that high school will be the time of your life. In many ways it is. High school for me would be described as fun, thrilling, exciting, hard working, and some very exhausting years of my life. My years at Millry High School have not been too long compared to others, however my memories are of great lengths. During my time as a high school student, I have tried to become a fairly active student. Participating in Bible club, drama club, yearbook, running for student council, homecoming court, being nominated best personality, and Distinguished Young Women. My time in high school have been some of the greatest times I have had thus far, with as little bumps in the road as possible. Now don t get me wrong, I had a lot to learn during my time as a high school student. During these years I have learned how to be myself, to work my tail off, and that nothing is going to be handed to you. One of my biggest regrets I encountered during my time as a high school student was not trying my hardest. I never really had to try much in elementary and middle school. It just sort of came to me. When I entered high school, I thought it would be the same. I was very wrong. I ended up going to summer school the summer of my ninth grade year for my grades. I found it so embarrassing when everyone would ask if I could hang out and I would have to say ¨I can t I have summer school¨. Definitely not one of my proudest moments there. ... • 32. Tipping Exercises Who would not want a lean and ripped physique? A lot of people want such a physique but wanting the physique and actually acquiring one are two different things. Can you acquire it? You can develop a ripped and defined look as long as you are willing to put the right effort into the process. Here are some insights into how to do so. The way you get ripped is through a mix of weight training, diet, and exercise. Such a three pronged approach needs to complement the goals of having a lean and defined body. You do not want to perform exercises that promote a different goal since those exercises will take you down a completely different path. The current path you are interested in is becoming defined so you need exercises and strategies that promote ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... You won t get a ripped physique from weightlifting alone. You will need to eat the proper diet and this is achieved by cutting calories and eating healthy. The less fat you have on your frame, the more ripped you will appear. That means you will need to diet in such a way that you become quite leaner and more cut. If you are not serious about cleaning up your diet, you will not become ripped. That is a fact! And yes, you will positively need to perform a lot of cardio work. There are two reasons for this. First, when you are doing a great deal of cardio work, you will burn more calories which means of course, you will end up with a leaner and more ripped physique. There is another benefit to cardio work that some might not be completely aware of. Namely, when you are doing your cardio sessions, you are engaging all the muscles in your body and helping them to become stronger and more defined. The higher the intensity of your cardio work the greater the potential for this outcome to occur. This three pronged approach has many merits. In fact, you really would have a tough time getting a ripped physique if you did not integrate all three of these components into your workouts. Those that do put the proper effort into their workout sessions and also eat the right diet might find their goals of becoming ripped and shredded could take as little as a few ... • 35. Summary OfThe Merger Of Two Competing Hospitals Healthcare Management Final Paper In the short story The Merger of Two Competing Hospitals , we see both Porter Regional Medical Center and Banner Regional Medical Center reach an agreement to form a merger. Both Hospitals had at least one major current flaw and by teaming up they no longer had to worry about the aspect of competing with each other. PRMC faced the problem of annually losing large sums of money. While over at BRMC the problem laid within the infrastructure and not the problem of money. After the completion of both hospitals coming together to form a newly named hospital, the question of creating an executive team in charge of management comes about. In my opinion, before moving forward in any way to create the executive team, candidates must be considered for their potential leadership. Just imagine how hard it would be to fail if the newly created hospital looked for leadership comparable to Arthur T. DeMoulas, when hiring for the executive team. While Market Basket is not a hospital, the whole idea of the managers acting as leaders would be great for a new hospital1. This could make all employees act loyal and show great customer service, and lastly having all the customers (patients) come and leave happy. According to MIT Sloan Management Review, there are six steps that should be taken to properly rebuild a management team. The first includes Reducing Role Ambiguity. This is essentially individuals who leave the new company because of the uncertainty the future holds for them. To help this, the board should do its best to ensure the company will be fine to the new executive team, as well as quickly remove any individuals who doubt the new company will be a success. Having just a few individuals who doubt the potential of the merger could quickly ruin a whole team and bring moral down. The second step states Due Diligence Around Talent Is a Dangerous Corner to Cut . To solve this, the board needs to get to know all the managers on both sides of the merger and actually find out about their full talent potential. The third part states Recognize Old Habits Die Hard But Not All Should . Each company before the merger had a certain way of doing things, and while some of those methods ... • 36. Marketing Plan for an Existing Business Executive Summary Dragonfly Designs already offers custom made items and now we would like to expand our product lines and offer do it yourself items. Our existing location can be renovated to add the space needed for this service. We would also like to build a new facility with a larger work area for the do it yourself projects and kilns in the back area. The back area would be large enough to hold the inventory for both store locations. To accomplish these objectives, land needs to be found and purchased for the new facility. Bank financing is necessary for the building of this new facility but not needed for the renovations at our existing location. Dragonfly Designs would also like to begin delivering our own goods locally. We ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... To ensure proper handling when shipping, we will start making local deliveries ourselves. We also plan to open an area in our shop to offer different art classes and do it yourself project options. We plan to buy some of the artwork made there by local artists and sell it in the showroom. We would like to start this service within the next 60 days. These goals will allow us to obtain the total revenue increase of 25% this year we are aiming for. Core Competency There is only one store within a 60 mile radius that handles stained glass and there is no place that handles porcelain designs locally. To be competitive on the Internet, price is key in getting customers to purchase from us. A user friendly website also helps in increasing purchase orders. Our original designs and made to–order products help to ensure satisfaction. Our shipping program is a big draw for consumers. Since the shipping is included in the price of the product, many consumers choose us over the competition. Situation Analysis Internal Focus We have several strengths within our company. There are not many other businesses of our type in this area. Our pricing can be higher since our product is custom made for the individual. We have low overhead and do not need much space to manufacture our products. Our company is also able to handle repairs in our own shop. Our artists are all skilled craftsmen from various backgrounds and they bring their individual tastes to ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 37. Disadvantages Of Quantum Computer The application and development of quantum computing is still in progress and there aren t any fully developed quantum computers out there right now. In spite of that, there are many advantages of quantum computing based on the theory and calculations provided by the scientists will benefit us in the future. First of all, there is a difference between quantum computer and traditional computer need to be explained. For example, traditional computer uses long strings of bits , which is either zero or one. While for the quantum computer, it uses quantum bits, or qubits (University of Waterloo n.d.). Sounds confusing? Here is the advantage I want to explain now. In traditional devices, information is stored and handled in binary form which was ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... This is because he proved that due to a classic computers cannot slow down without exponentially, thus, a classical computers cannot simulate the quantum effects. But a quantum computer can simulate the physical processes of quantum effects in a real time. They named it as molecular simulations (Talele etal 2012). This definitely will allow us to study, in remarkable detail, the interactions between atoms and molecules. This could help medical and engineering field to design new drugs and new materials (University of Waterloo n.d.). Those pharmacists can know more about how was the interactions with each other of their products. They also can see the biological processes after they used a drug on a person to view the interaction of a drug with a person s metabolism or disease. Meanwhile in the engineering field, they can create new materials such as superconductors that work at room temperature, nanotechnology, and semiconductor. • 38. Analysis Of The Movie Sea World Of Hurt Sea World of Hurt When I was little, I used to always want to go out and visit Marineland. At the tender age of 5 I was mesmerized Free Willy, the kid s film about an orca who is freed into the wild by a little boy. I was amazed by the creature on the screen every time I watched the film, it never got old. Of course at my age I did not quite understand why Willy had to be freed from the seemingly nice pool he was allowed to be living in. It was what made me want to visit Marineland to see one of these guys up close. I visited for the first time when I was about 10, and I do not remember everything but what I do remember is that I was more enticed with the rides and the gift shop than I was with their orcas. I used to question why, but now I get it. The orca we saw was underwhelming, because of the sheer sadness it emanated from the other side of the glass where it swam around in its small living area. It was not Willy, the fun orca from my childhood. It was the stark reality of a combination of solitude and mistreatment. I learned recently that the orca in Free Willy was released from captivity 9 years after the film came out in 1993, and it died in the wild after only a year because it was too dependant on us. We are the ones that created this mess. This mess of literal killer whales, of poor living conditions of these animals, the way we have ripped them from their natural habitat and put them up for show. SeaWorld plays a big role in this business. And SeaWorld, like all ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
