This document discusses different types of operating systems including embedded, stand-alone, and server/network operating systems. hardware configured and designed for special purpose.
Detail of Embedded OS
 Hardware that supports Embedded OS.
 Little Computing Power.

Windows Embedded CE:-
It is a scale down OS use for communication, entertainment and have
limited functionality.

It works on smart phone. User have access to

Calendar etc.

CLIENT COMPUTER
The computer using stand alone operating system
are also called as client computers. They work in
conjunction with the network operating system.
e.g.
DOS, Window 3.x,Window 95, Mac OS ,Window 2000
professional and Window NT Workstation etc.
