SPECIAL VOTERS MEETING – All members of Our Saviour are asked to attend the Special Voters‘ Meeting today at
10:30 am to elect our new President-Elect. If you are not yet a voting member, you can become one today.
COME IN LIKE A LAMB – March came in like a lamb…and here at Our Saviour, we celebrate the Lamb of God who
came to suffer and die for our sins so that we may have eternal life with Him. We ask visitors to please fill out the
Fellowship Pad (it‘s in the hymnal rack) with the date, name, address, phone number, etc. Please come worship again!
ALL CHILDREN WELCOME – The nursery (for walking to age 3) and Sunday School (age 4 – grade 6) welcome
your child today during the 9:15 am service (registration forms can be found in the office hallway). The nursery is located
in the basement (take the elevator to LL and turn left); SS children are dismissed to class after the Children‘s Message at
the 9:15 am service. Children‘s bulletins, for ages 3-6 and 7-12, can be found in the Narthex. Looking ahead…there will
be no Sunday School classes and the nursery will be closed on Easter Sunday, April 4.
DO YOU LIKE TO PLAY? – Additional helpers are needed in the nursery on some Sunday mornings. Jr. and Sr. youth
are asked to volunteer to work with an adult supervisor and play with the 1-4 year olds during the 9:15 service. If you
acolyte at the early or late service, consider stopping by around 9am and asking if help is needed. All Jr and Sr high youth
are encouraged to help. Questions? Please contact Mike Charles at 337-0940 or by email at charles5832@sbcglobal.net.
2. EASTER FLOWERS – Sign up sheets can be found in the Narthex for Easter flowers. Lilies, daffodils and tulips are
this year‘s choices and the cost is $10 each. The deadline for sign up is TODAY, SUNDAY, March 21.
REGISTER NOW FOR PRESCHOOL – Will your child be 3 or 4 years old on September 1, 2010? Do you want them
to attend preschool in a loving, Christian environment? OSL Preschool is now accepting registrations for the 2010-11
school year - MWF (8:30-11:30) program for 4- and 5-year-olds / T-TH program for 3-year-olds from 8:30-10:30am and
(hopefully) a 12:30-2:30pm (Note: A minimum number of students are needed to run any class). If you, your neighbors or
your friends are looking for a great preschool, ask them to call Christina, Preschool Director, at 468-3596.
„EXPELLED‟ BIBLE STUDY – Paul Steinhaus, science teacher at NEWLHS, will be at OSLC leading a Bible study
regarding the freedom of speech and inquiry within the scientific community as it relates to Biblical authority. The
discussion will be centered around Ben Stein's recent movie "Expelled." The movie will be viewed for the first 3 weeks
and will conclude with discussion the fourth week with an example of this freedom revolving around the "hot" topic of
global warming. This discussion is geared toward adults but high school youth are strongly encouraged to come and join
in. This study will be held in our parlor Sundays at 9:30 and 10:30 am on April 11, 18, 25 and May 2.
YOUTH NIGHT! – Wednesday at 3pm. $3 is requested for the meal. Be there or be square! Questions? Ask Pastor Greg.
PORTALS OF PRAYER – The new April-June issue is in the Narthex. Pick up yours today. Large print in the office.
It is easier to preach ten sermons than it is to live one.
FAITH BUILDER/ADULT CONFIRMATION CLASS RETURNS – Our next Faith Builder/Adult Confirmation
class will begin on Wednesday, April 7 from 6-7:30pm. The first class will include a Talk n‘ Tour. If you are interested in
attending, please contact Michelle in the office. Members can build on what they already know and non-members can use
these classes as a stepping stone to membership, if desired. Classes run every Wednesday April 7-May 26.
FUND RAISING PROJECTS – To coordinate fund raising projects the Board of Stewardship asks that you run your
ideas and plans through Pastor Dave. This will allow us to maximize and coordinate our efforts in several ways. Thanks!
DELIVERY FOR… – Please take a plant to deliver to one of our 15 shut-ins. Cards on each flower will include the
name, address and phone number of a shut-in who would like you to bring the plant and also to visit for a few minutes.
GOT SCRIP? – Copp‘s, Festival, Woodman‘s, Walgreen‘s, ShopKo, Kohl‘s, Fleet Farm, WalMart, Kwik Trip, BP, Shell
AND MORE are available. Our Saviour receives a % from each SCRIP card sold and you use the cards just like cash at
your favorite stores. Ask about our new Education Program for families with children in the OSL Preschool, Trinity or
enrolled at NEWLHS. For more information, stop at the Welcome Center or call the office (468-4065) during the week.
I LOVE SPRING! – If you can‘t wait to get to your spring cleaning, just remember that OSLC is now accepting
donations for the May 15 ‗Kids Only‘ rummage sale as well as the August 21 ‗Super Sale‘. Donations for either sale can
be brought to the church office. Kids Only donations can also be brought to the nursery on Sunday mornings.
CONSIDER ELECTRONIC GIVING – This Easter season, Our Saviour thanks those individuals and families that
support the church throughout the year with their time, talent and financial contributions. We also extend a warm
welcome to many new and returning congregation members and hope that you, too, will be generous with your time and
contributions in support of our work here at Our Saviour. To assist everyone in making the consistent offerings that are so
important to Our Saviour, we ask you to consider making automatic, electronic donations through the Simply Giving
program. Please contact the church office (468-4065 or info@oslc-gb.org) for more details.

LIFE QUOTE – ―Next time you worship, don‘t be afraid to look around you. You may see Jesus in the face of a child, or
the smile of a teen, or the tears of a friend. You might understand the value of life through the rhythm of a breathing tube,
or the unfolding of a walker, or the chatter of a toddler. Above all, your life will be given value through the means of
grace—gifts from the God who created us, redeemed us, and continues to sanctify us. Come to the Source of Light—then
go out and let it shine!‖ Karen Frohwein, Lutherans for Life of Iowa This “Life Quote” is from Lutherans for Life
