2. 1.Use Active Listening Skill
• It is basic requirement for good Counsellor.
The good counsellor is good listener. Carefull
listening helps to understand the problem of
client which is important for future concerns.

3. 2.Let the client to express the feeling
• Only this way you can clearly understand the
problem of client. Psychoanalytical process
demands this. The believe is that repressed
feelings should get outlet ,which is itlself a
therapeutic process.

4. 3.Act immediately
• As soon as counsellor knows the problem of
client , counsellor should think about how to
solve the problem. Both counsellor and client
must act immediately.

5. 4.Involve the friends and family
• If the problem is related to family or friends
then counsellor must involve friends and
family in counseling process, But this decision
should be taken carefully after thinking all the
aspects of problems

6. 5.Make a referral if needed
• It is the step to be taken when client needs
more technical and special treatment which is
not available at present institute. Counsellor
must state the need of reference service to
client .
