Over 1300 brands and companies have joined Instagram to date The top 50 brands on Instagram have 722k followers on average. The most Instagrammed brand is Nike, with over 19 Million posts mentioning the #Nike hashtag so far, and adding over 1 Million each month. Instagram videos are creating two-times more engagement than Instagram photos. The most popular day to post is Thursday, but Sundays receive the most interaction for the average user The average user spends 257 minutes per month on Instagram 18 – 29 year olds are the largest user base on Instagram Women are more likely to use Instagram than men
