Assure Method: Day 3
Objective
For my students ranging between the ages of 14-18 years old, they will be required to
research and discover pictures that involve Phys. Ed. on the Pinterest account that they are
required to create; including subjects such as sports, eating healthy, running, or lifting weights.
They will also be required to create a Second Life account and explore the worlds of second life
involving facts about Phys. Ed. They can go throughout the world of Second Life and gather
facts that will help them gain knowledge about the benefits of Phys. Ed. I require that 100% of
my students have created their Pinterest account and Second Life account and have made at least
3 boards with 3 pins in each board involving pictures they discovered. In Second Life, they
should have visited the place I have instructed them to visit.
A- Students will search Pinterest for posts involving Phys. Ed. They will create three boards
with three different topics and post at least three pins involving that topic. In Second Life, each
student will create an account and visit the Rocka-Fit Fitness Center and discover ways to
exercise and use different equipment. Students should have these assignments completed and
shown to me by the end of class.
S- By the end of the day, I require 100% of my students to have competed the Pinterest
assignment and Second Life assignment. Students will have gathered new information involving
Physical Education. Which involve the importance of staying healthy and exercising. For
example on the Pinterest account, they could have looked up healthy foods to eat or different
exercises to do each day. In Second Life, they could look up different machines to use and how
to use them. I will see they posts they have pinned and make sure that they are following
instructions in the world of Second Life.
S- Students will show me their Pinterest and Second Life account so I can see their posts. Both ,
Pinterest and Second Life, should show students new ways to exercise and use different
equipment.
U- At the beginning of class I will give them the Website to get to Second Life and instruct them
on how to create an account and use Second Life as a helpful tool. I will teach the students on
how to create a Pinterest and show them how to create boards and pin different pictures in each
board, if need be. Students can explore new information that they may have not already known.
Hopefully this will spark new interests in my students.
R- At the end of class, I will review each student’s Pinterest account and look to make sure they
have visited the place in Second Life I have instructed them to.
E- If students have not created their account for both Second life and Pinterest, they will not
receive credit for that day. I require 100% of my students to have done these assignment and
allow me to review each one of them.

Assure day 3

  • 1. Wade Cole CI 350 5-5-14 Assure Method: Day 3 Objective For my students ranging between the ages of 14-18 years old, they will be required to research and discover pictures that involve Phys. Ed. on the Pinterest account that they are required to create; including subjects such as sports, eating healthy, running, or lifting weights. They will also be required to create a Second Life account and explore the worlds of second life involving facts about Phys. Ed. They can go throughout the world of Second Life and gather facts that will help them gain knowledge about the benefits of Phys. Ed. I require that 100% of my students have created their Pinterest account and Second Life account and have made at least 3 boards with 3 pins in each board involving pictures they discovered. In Second Life, they should have visited the place I have instructed them to visit. A- Students will search Pinterest for posts involving Phys. Ed. They will create three boards with three different topics and post at least three pins involving that topic. In Second Life, each student will create an account and visit the Rocka-Fit Fitness Center and discover ways to exercise and use different equipment. Students should have these assignments completed and shown to me by the end of class. S- By the end of the day, I require 100% of my students to have competed the Pinterest assignment and Second Life assignment. Students will have gathered new information involving
  • 2. Physical Education. Which involve the importance of staying healthy and exercising. For example on the Pinterest account, they could have looked up healthy foods to eat or different exercises to do each day. In Second Life, they could look up different machines to use and how to use them. I will see they posts they have pinned and make sure that they are following instructions in the world of Second Life. S- Students will show me their Pinterest and Second Life account so I can see their posts. Both , Pinterest and Second Life, should show students new ways to exercise and use different equipment. U- At the beginning of class I will give them the Website to get to Second Life and instruct them on how to create an account and use Second Life as a helpful tool. I will teach the students on how to create a Pinterest and show them how to create boards and pin different pictures in each board, if need be. Students can explore new information that they may have not already known. Hopefully this will spark new interests in my students. R- At the end of class, I will review each student’s Pinterest account and look to make sure they have visited the place in Second Life I have instructed them to. E- If students have not created their account for both Second life and Pinterest, they will not receive credit for that day. I require 100% of my students to have done these assignment and allow me to review each one of them.
