Assure Method: Day 4
Objective
My students between the ages of 14-18 years of age will create pictures using Photoshop
concerning Phys. Ed. I will require that 100% of my students try the software, find pictures to
use in their final picture, and show my what they created by the end of class. The software will
be provided for them on the computers in the computer lab. I want my students to familiarize
themselves with the software that is available to them. They will find different techniques to use
on lynda.com.
A-Students will look up pictures on the Internet concerning Phys. Ed. My students will use
different techniques demonstrated to them on lynda.com. I want my students to pick at least 3
techniques to incorporate into their picture. The final picture should be about anything
concerning Phys. Ed.
S- By the end of the day, I require that 100% of my students to have produced a picture
concerning Phys. Ed. They will receive a grade if they tell me what techniques they used and
show me where they incorporated the techniques in their picture. All students should show me
their picture by the end of the day.
2. S- The link for lynda.com will be provided to them at the beginning of class. Lynda.com will
show the different techniques they can use in their picture. Whether it be shading, cutting, etc.
lynda.com will show them how to do all of these techniques.
U- For this Photoshop assignment, I just want my students to discover new tools to create
pictures and show their opinion about Phys. Ed. and spread the importance of it. Hopefully they
will find new information they didn’t know already. By the end of the day every student should
have a finished product.
R-By the end of the class, every student should have shown me their picture and showed me the
techniques they used concerning lynda.com. I will look at every students and grade them based
on if they gave the effort to make to picture.
E-After each student has given 100% effort making their picture and showed me their finsidhed
product, they will receive credit for the day.
