Monday 21nd September - Began correcting my magazine masthead font powerpoint
- Completed my survey monkey questionnaire; I still have yet to
receive replies.
- Analysed survey monkey questionnaire results on a powerpoint
document.
Monday 28th September -I have finished conducting research for my primary research
powerpoint by asking 20 people to complete a questionnaire
- I have gathered photographic evidence to support the legitimacy of
my face to face primary research.
- I have analysed all said results and displayed them onto a
powerpoint document.
- I have started sketching out my design for my front cover on paper
Monday 5th October - I have begun working on my preliminary mind map for the
school magazine; I have identified all of the conventions and type
of camera shot.
- Corrected the dates on my schedule.
- I’ve started working on my preliminary front cover starting from
a template; I’ve included the barcode and masthead. I will add
more conventions in the future to add to the professionalism of
the school magazine.
Monday 12th October - I have been working on my preliminary front cover, I’ve added
more conventions including the price and date.
- I’ve added more gridlines to plan out where my future

- In my free time I’ve been correcting my primary research
powerpoint, adding notes as to what the results mean and how I
can use them in my own magazine.
- This lesson I added social media logos to my preliminary front
cover, I added a smaller version fo the masthead near the
barcode and again readjusted the gridlines.
Monday 19th October - This lesson I added a main headline as well as a website and a
hashtag and edited the cover lines and masthead so that it could
be read easier.
- Today I have added a puff promotion, more cover lines, a new
header and as of now I have to complete my strapline.
- As of now I have completely finished my preliminary front
cover; I added small images to my cover lines, readjusted my
barcode and social media icons, updated my puff promotion to
fill up empty space and made minor changes to perfectly
present everything on the front cover. I still have yet to make
amends to my coursework for my own music magazine; that I
will be doing over the half term.
Half Term
Monday 2nd November - Over the half term I have completed my preliminary contents
page hand drawn draft. This lesson I started working on the
actual contents page itself, I have duplicated layers to make it

4. easier to edit whilst keeping the style consistent. I included the
masthead and background from the previous front cover page.
The due date of this task is Friday 13th November. I still have
yet to take a photo for my music magazine front cover.
- Today I have added templates for my photos, a page number
and web address for my preliminary contents page. I have also
added a few stories for my exclusive stories contents.
- During yesterday's and today's lesson I have edited the
editorial, drop capital and added an editorial photo to
professionalize the contents page. I still have yet to add all of
the content for the regular stories, exclusive stories and events
as well as add pictures.
- Within this lesson I have added all of the contents for the
regular and exclusive stories on my preliminary contents page.
I have finished the editorial, I still have to add my signature
and social media icons to add to the aestheticism of the page.
Monday 9th November - I've updated a lot of my contents page today; I added the
signature and finished off the editorial, added some content
for the events category and I am now adding images suitable to
the stories.
- Today I finished all of thew content for my contents
magazine, I just have to add a few more photos and I'm
finished.
- This lesson I have finally completed my preliminary front
cover; I've made improvements to a few of my planning and

Monday 16th November - This lesson I startedworking on my maintask front cover; my chosen
magazine of inspirationis VIBE. I've createda background, masthead,
strapline and now i'm working on the barcode. I am looking to
complete the bar code by next lesson.

- During today's lessonI have added more conventions to my front
cover; I've completedthe barcode area, added a main headline, re
editedmy masthead,changing the font style, I added socialmedia
icons and a burst of smoke in the background. I still have yet to add
my main image which will be of William Eze.

my main image and a puff promotion.Now I'm working on the cover
lines.
Monday 23th November - Today I have added more over lines, fixedthe puff promotionand
made small finishing touches to the whole thing. It is almost finished.
- After today's lessonI believe that I have completely finishedmy main
task front over; over this lesson I was able to readjust the puff
promotionand main headline. I also added another cover line
featuring Drake to fill up the empty space on the right. I feel that
there is still room for improvement on the cover line on the top left
as the font and style contracts the ones on the right.
Monday 30th November - I have startedworking on my maintask contents page; so far I've

6. added a background, masthead logo and the issue date.
Monday 7th December - This lesson I was able to finish typing my editorial;I just need to add
an editorial photo along with the socialmedia icons and signature.I
have started adding contents for my page.
- Today I was able to add a few feature stories as contents on my page;
I also added an editorial photo,signature and socialmedia icons. I
used the original artist fonts to represent their names as it looks
much more professional.I still have yet to take a photo of someone to
fill the space in the middle, as well as the task of adding contents to
my fashionheading.
