1. Who would be the audience for
your media product?
By Tom Tingey
2. Target Audience
Our target audience would be
people of the ages from 12 and up,
the reason why we would want the
film to be a 12 is that we would
not want to give the idea to the
younger generation that stealing in
our case is wrong, when Jamie
picks up the ticket, he should give
it to the person that dropped it
however he did not. We would not
make it a 12A as there is no
swearing in it.
3. Target Audience
The target audience who be people of all
different races as this could happen to anyone at
anytime. So many people find a lottery ticket on
the floor and if they find a lottery ticket they
often keep it, so they have the chance of
winning the lottery.
4. Media Consumption
We used a number of media consumption these include
• Blogger
• YouTube
• Google Documents
We have posted the final film on YouTube so that a number of people
will be able to watch it and tell there friends or family members about
the film. As well as putting it on YouTube we have also put it on
blogger, doing so a number of people around the world can look on
blogger and watch our film and the proses behind making it. Final we
used google documents to send a questionnaire to our target audience
to see what there opinions were but to also inform them that we are
creating a film and once it has been completed then they can watch it.
5. Questionnaire
Before making our film we conducted some
research by giving a questionnaire to a
range of people from the ages of 12 to 30+
to see what they thought of our idea. When
we read through the replies we saw that a
lot of them liked the idea but were not too
sure how we could make a film like this as
we would need permission from a shop to
use as we needed for 2 people to hand over
the lottery ticket, but they said that they
could follow the story a line, they agreed
with what we thought about are age
boundary of 12 and we had a wide range of
answers of what is your favourite film genre.
6. Collected information
With the information that we gained from the
questionnaires we were able to create a film
that agrees with our feedback that it should be a
12 age boundary, we used 2 different film
genres that most of audience would like and we
made sure that it was a film with a story line
that everyone could follow.
