The document summarizes the results of a film industry questionnaire given to various audiences. Key findings include:
1) The majority of respondents were 15-30 year old students, which was the target demographic.
2) Thriller was the most popular genre, with audiences expecting suspense, tension, and a sense of realism from those films.
3) Actors/actresses and storyline were the biggest attractors to films, while billboards and word of mouth were seen as the most powerful forms of advertising.
4) Well-known actors/actresses and a strong storyline were cited as what makes a film stand out.
For our A2 media project we have took research from our questionnaires to ask the public what they think about the film industry, our film proposal and more.

C6.03: User engagement within the ocean-colour climate change initiative - Sh...Blue Planet Symposium
Ocean colour is the only marine Essential Climate Variable amenable to remote sensing that targets a biological field. Phytoplankton abundance, which can be indexed as Chlorophyll (Chl-a) concentration (and derived from ocean-colour data), is a key factor in the ocean carbon cycle and hence important in all discussions dealing with the pathways of carbon in the Earth System. The user community, both ecosystem modellers and remote-sensing scientists, were polled through an on-line questionnaire as well as at small targeted meetings during Phase 1 of the Ocean Colour Climate Change Initiative project; followed up at the start of Phase 2 by a review of the feedback received after the public product release. The consultation details are available in a User Requirements document, with a key point being that the Global Climate Observing System identified requirements may be considered a minimum in the sense that the user community is interested in additional ocean-colour derived products for climate research; including primary production and phytoplankton functional types in addition to Chl-a concentration.
The main product (i.e. Chl-a), received a variety of spatial and temporal resolution requirements depending on the user type (remote sensing scientists or modellers) and on the areas of research within those categories (global scale versus operational). Accordingly, spatial resolution requirements ranged from 1 km or less for the remote sensing scientists to 1 degree for modellers. Temporal requirements ranged from 1 day to monthly for both groups. In addition, all users identified the importance of having uncertainty or error characteristics associated with each product as well as products with sufficient stability over the long term e.g. 1-2% trends on Chl-a concentration over 10 years was desirable.
In addition, a number of products (with their requirements characteristics) were mentioned to extend the spatial extent and scope of climate studies e.g. inherent optical properties so that algorithms could be extended to optically-complex coastal (i.e. Case-2) waters, or, failing that, algorithms that would at least identify the boundaries of Case-2 waters. Also, since phytoplankton absorption characteristics are used in many primary-production algorithms it would also be desirable to retrieve and provide the spectral phytoplankton absorption values.
The reason I have made a cinema survey is to find out more about my target audience in order to produce a film and trailer that is most suited to them.

The Indian economy is classified into different sectors to simplify the analysis and understanding of economic activities. For Class 10, it's essential to grasp the sectors of the Indian economy, understand their characteristics, and recognize their importance. This guide will provide detailed notes on the Sectors of the Indian Economy Class 10, using specific long-tail keywords to enhance comprehension.

How to Split Bills in the Odoo 17 POS ModuleCeline George
Bills have a main role in point of sale procedure. It will help to track sales, handling payments and giving receipts to customers. Bill splitting also has an important role in POS. For example, If some friends come together for dinner and if they want to divide the bill then it is possible by POS bill splitting. This slide will show how to split bills in odoo 17 POS.
Operation “Blue Star” is the only event in the history of Independent India where the state went into war with its own people. Even after about 40 years it is not clear if it was culmination of states anger over people of the region, a political game of power or start of dictatorial chapter in the democratic setup.
The people of Punjab felt alienated from main stream due to denial of their just demands during a long democratic struggle since independence. As it happen all over the word, it led to militant struggle with great loss of lives of military, police and civilian personnel. Killing of Indira Gandhi and massacre of innocent Sikhs in Delhi and other India cities was also associated with this movement.
2. How Old Are You? These results show me that we asked mostly 15 – 30 year olds, this is what we were hoping for as we will be aiming our production to around this age group, however we still wanted a range of people to complete the questionnaire.
3. What’s your Occupation? This chart shows me that the majority of people I questioned were students, however there was a good range of occupations. Again, students being the majority is what we wanted as they are a major part to out target audience.
4. How many films have you seen within the previous two months? Within the people that completed our questionnaire, half of them were big film fans watching between 4-5 films in just two months.
5. What’s your preferred Genre? From our questionnaire we have clearly found out that the thriller genre is the most popular, with drama and comedy coming in at second most popular.
6. What do you expect from your preferred Genre? I have taken the results just from the questionnaires with ‘thriller’ being the preferred genre as we found this to have the highest popularity rate. I found that within a thriller genre people have said… ‘I want to be on the edge of my seat worrying, I expect suspense and tension’… ‘dull colours and poorly lit scenes are what I tend to notice’… ‘there is always a sense of realism, as if it could actually be happening right now in the world’… These are just a few examples from the research I gathered.
7. What attracts you to certain films? My research found that the majority of people are attracted to a film through the actors and actresses that are starring in the film and the story line its self. Culture and location was also quite a popular choice as you can see from the chart.
8. If you had the choice, what Actors/Actresses would you cast in a film? I allowed people to write freely who they would cast in a film, Johny Depp was very popular, this did not surprise me as I too believe he is an extremely talented actor that has played in many roles, never failing to disappoint the audience. A lot of people also said they do not mind who is starring in the film as long as they are able to act and play a believable part.
9. What form of Advertisement do you believe is the most powerful? Billboards and word of mouth were found to be the most powerful form of advertisement within the modern society, and radio adverts being the least popular with no preference at all.
10. What do you like to see in the opening sequence to a film? This was left as an open question for people to freely write what they wanted. There was a mixed response with answers varying from … ‘A dramatic scene, something that will stay in my mind throughout the film, something that will keep me drawn to the film’ to answers such as ‘A mellow opening, a calm introduction to characters and settings allowing me to recognise the genre and understand the story line’. Just over half of the people questioned wanted to see a dramatic start that will draw them in straight away.
11. What is it that makes a film stand out to you? Most people find that having well known and famous actors/actresses make a film stand out to them, also having a strong and bold story line will draw in an audience. The director and producer of a film have little impact on the audience, I believe this is because generally, not many people take notice of who produces and directs a film.
12. Do you prefer Blockbuster films or Independent films? This chart shows that the majority of people will prefer a blockbuster film to an independent film, but I found that when people were asked this question not everyone knew what an independent film was.
