2. THE BRAND
• I think it is important to keep a specific style to the brand and keep its identity the same throughout the
work you are doing which includes the brand, the identity is what makes it recognisable to people.
• Every single brand and logo must allow people to know what the brand is just by seeing its logo, the aim
is to make it universal; and the aspects from it must allow people to recognise it, so that can be the
font, the images the colour etc, this is what I want to create from my brand for my music video.
3. IMAGE/LOGO
• So as it is a music video, you cannot really have a logo, a font yes but a logo is a tad more difficult and I
intend to merely have a font anyway.
• I plan to have this logo (font) when the music video starts and I want a title which says, ‘Panama,
Always’ but with ‘Always’ below ‘Panama’ – which is the name of the band.
• I want a simple font, but perhaps in the colour orange or white, I don’t know why I want that colour so
much its just when I think of the song I think orange or white in bold letters, quite groovy and vintage
looking.
• When I have the title on my music video, I will either have a background of 1 clip of video, or I will have
it when I have the montage at the start of the video.
5. COLOURS
• The colours I want to use must reflect the feelings evoked when listening to the song, so personally
when I listen to it, I think lots of feel good colours, I don’t know why but I think of 80’s colours and
whites and greys, not really black, the song makes me feel happy so I think of happy colours.
• The colour schemes are always an important aspect when it comes to brands so I have taken a lot of
through into the colours I want to include in my video.
• The colour tends to highlight the initial genre you want and the genre of the video itself so my genre is
indie/alternative so I want colours that highlight that.
