1. Looking back at your preliminary
task, What would you do feel you have
learnt in the progression from it to
the full product?

2. Looking back at my preliminary task I feel like my work has come on a great progress. My
photoshop skills have improved rapidly and my sense of space and layout has definitely become a
lot clearer. As for my front cover I think my overall presentation of my work has changed for
the better as I understand the software programme a lot more now than when i was creating
my preliminary task. This is down to both trial and error but also being told how to make my
work better and what i can do to improve my existing work. My advanced skills now show how
much i have progressed by the overall professional look of the front cover.

3. By contents page and double page spread were created on QuarkXpress. As i did not create a double
page spread in my preliminary work i have nothing to compare it to but i know that my
understanding and ability within this programme has changed rapidly. The look of all my work
fits together and looks unified by my use of colours and fonts.
Within my preliminary task I believe i did not achieve this look within the front cover and
contents page but my ability to trial and error and look at my work from a different
perspective and get peer feedback has allowed me to improve.
