1. Who would be the audience for your
media product?

2. When creating my rock music magazine the target audience i was trying to achieve was sixteen
to nineteen year olds. Now that i have created my music magazine and I can now analyse and
look back at in more depth i believe that I have achieved this within my production.
I have chosen to use someone within the age of my target audience on my front cover. I have
done this so that my target audience will find a connection with the subject in the image who
is also giving a direct address and they will be able to create a sense of similarity and
compatibility therefor leading them to buy my music magazine.
I have also chosen to use quite simple yet technical language to show facts about the music for
my audience but also so that they will be able to undertsna and wont get confused and choose
not to buy or repurchase my magazine that I have created.

3. To appeal to a sixteen to nineteen year old target audience I have also chosen to include bright
vivid colours. This appeals to this age of target audience as they will be intrigued by the colour
and will be interested in the magazine therefore leading them to pick it up.
I also chose to include current rock artists on the front cover to their attention is grabbed
and they immediatly know that this magazine will appeal to them as it includes rock bands
and artists which are current now in their generation.
