Q3-What have you learnt about
technology from constructing your
            product?
Programmes Used
• Word
• PowerPoint
• Prezi
• Slide share
• Blogger
• Adobe Indesign
• Adobe Photoshop
Microsoft Word

I used Microsoft to type out all the work
that had to be on the magazine, I did
this as it is a good way to check that
all my spelling and grammar is correct
as it is hard to do that on Indesign. I
think that Microsoft has taught me to
check my spelling, and also the word
count as it generally tells you how
many words you have and what
    spellings are wrong.
PowerPoint

PowerPoint is a good programme to
use, I used it to make the mood
board for both my preliminary task
and my final product ideas. It
teaches you how to use some
picture editors and it also taught me
how to put things into slideshows so
I don't have to worry about it not all
being there and trying to fit too
much onto one page when it needs
   to be presented.
Prezi

Prezi is another online way of documenting your
work. It taught me how to upload cool
presentations and make my work look really
neat and tidy. It also taught me that you can
upload both pictures and text in different
patterns to make all your work look different.
Prezi helped me to show that you don't just
have to use all the same boring programmes
to document your work with, and that you can
    use the internet.
Blogger

Blogger is an online blog that I can
upload all of my work onto, and proof
that I have done it. It helps show all
the work that I have done and is
basically like an online diary. Blogger
has taught me that you can keep all of
your work online and show it, with it
being all under one URL, and not
having to open all different files to
view the work that has been done.
Adobe Indesign

Adobe Indesign is the programme that I
used to put all of the magazine
together. Indesign taught me how to
place pictures into the file, and also
how to make a magazine. It had all of
the guidelines around the text and
pictures that I was using so I knew
where I could and couldn’t places of
information that needed to be inserted
into the magazine. It also taught me
how to limit the space that I was going
   to use.
Adobe Photoshop

Photoshop was what I used to edit all
the pictures for my music magazine. It
taught me how to get rid of any
shadows that existed on the picture.
It is also taught me how to save the
picture that I have edited, and change
it into another file so if I didn’t have
   this specific programme on the
computer that I was going to use then
I would still be able to open the
   picture to edit it.
