Becoming Who I Am I was born on June 27th, 2001. I was named after the month I was born in.
June May Jones is my full name. I was supposed to be born in May, but was very late. Now, in the
year of 2016, I will be turning 14. I am in 8th grade and the youngest in my class. Making a
transition from elementary school to now Jr. High, and almost high school, was one of the hardest
things. Since I live in Chicago, IL, I go to a different school often. It's hard to make friends here, of

Family Theme In Nyxia
One theme seed seen throughout the novel Nyxia by Scott Reintgen is family. In the beginning of
the novel Emmett goes with the Bible company due to the fact that if he wins the prize would be 50
thousand a month for the rest of his life as well as free access and treatment at medical centers
courtesy of Babel. My thinking is that the free access and treatment at medical centers is the real
reason he is there, as it even says so in the beginning of the book. His mother has breast cancer and
kidney disease so winning could very well save her life.
The first basic theme of family I found in this novel was family can cause people to do things they
never would have considered before. (Emmett went to space on a trip out of our own solar system
for the chance to help his Mom survive) Some evidence to support this claim would be found on
page 18. This is where Emmet goes on a journey out of the solar system to try and get money for his
mother who has cancer. My thinking on this is that Emmett's family is poor, and bable can control

Kaya was in bed looking at the ceiling. She was tired and her older sister, Ella was reading a book

On October 21, 2017, I was able to observe Claire Marcus for my Life–Span Development class.
This observation allowed me observe the physical and cognitive changes children experience. It was
performed at the Marcus household in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. This observation was consented
by Claire's mother. Claire Marcus is a seven year–old, female. She enjoys playing sports, having
play dates with her friends, and excelling in school. At age seven, children are going through large

administering medications, providing blood and blood products and even nutrition to the patient, but
are not without their complications. These complications include thrombophlebitis, infiltration and
blood stream infection. Thrombophlebitis is among the most common complications of having
intravenous access. Symptoms of phlebitis include pain, redness, tenderness upon palpation,
swelling and warmth at the IV site and are all related to the inflammation of the vein (Uslusoy &
Mete, 2008). Several studies were completed with the aim to determine predisposing factors that
lead to a patient developing phlebitis. The other research articles discussed looks at the acceptance
of a policy that is supposed to prevent phlebitis and other complications associated with IV access.

You dream of an unfamiliar hand being placed on your elbow. It is tender and adoring, but at the
same moment it has a gargantuan power that easily lifts you awake. You are suspended over a
countryside at dawn. You gaze downward and you realize that this cosmic expanse extending out to
the horizon and distant beyond it is all your property. The existence you have endured and have yet
to live stretches out beneath you. It's surprisingly gigantic, a complete continent sheltered with a
subtle cobalt vapor. You can scarcely familiarize yourself, but you worship this territory from deep
within your spirit. You marvel at that, but just for a short minute, because it then occurs to you what
this immeasurable immense and magnificent ground beneath you is: it's called love.
As you slowly drift downwards, you are still gazing, lost in thought, at the landscape before your
eyes. You touch down gently, grateful to feel the earth below your feet. A delicate fog surrounds
you. You see a light in front of and up above you. A mighty tower looms before you. Completely
solitary, it rises from the landscape like a pillar. It is beautiful and strangely familiar, as if you had
been there many times before.
Light comes from a small window set high in the facade. Something wonderful is shining there,
gentle and friendly. As you walk around the tower, you see an open door. You go inside, where a
broad, winding staircase greets you. Each step, each stone is familiar.
