NHS Advertising Review & Reflection
There is probably more Weakness than Strengths to our Advert But I believe
we did the best we could. It does show Salford in a better light and the Images
we were provided with were very high quality and vibrant. I think that the Text
along with the images is a nice Touch leaving them looking like A postcard. An
obvious downside was the Boring Random Video.
Our group worked perfectly together and there was never a break in
communication. In fact I would definitely say it opened up a new line of
communication between us. Everyone Worked as Equal, Equally lazy, but we
got everything finished on time so there was no real problem apart from a Few
absences.
There were a few difficulties when filming, at first we had a tape camera and
Carrie forgot to rewind the tape so all of our footage wasn’t even saved. Then
there was also a Few occasions where The Hospital had mixed up filming times
and had to cancel a Few but they didn’t really impact much on our Schedule
we had plenty of time.
If we were to do this again I would try and motivate our group a bit more and
do some more filming in better quality. Possibly ask for a better brief because
we really had a hard time working with the one we were given.
Our Final Product Sort of met the Requirements by the client. Our Brief was
Confusing and Sort of Contradictory. They gave us a Set of pictures that we had
to use in the Advert but then said that they don’t want a Slideshow of pictures.
Eventually we just decided to mix up the Slideshow with Bits of film. It is quite
uncreative really and Boring but we couldn’t do much with what we had been
given
