1. NHS Advertising Review and Reflection
The strengths and weaknesses of our advert was; One obvious strength
of our advert was definitely the nice vibrant bright images that were
provided to us by the NHS they made our advert more interesting to
watch and showed us the real side to Salford despite all the bad
controversy surrounding this city. A weakness I think was the video that
was included in our advert i think it was dull and quite boring.
There were no issues in our group we all got along and listened to each
other’s ideas and opinions. We have used everyone’s ideas in this
advert. And i think that has worked well.
We had a few issues with filming, for example- organising when to film.
As many times the NHS changed our dates to film and it put us behind
schedule. Also we had a problem filming the first time so we had to re-
film it as it didn’t record properly and it was raining at the time so it didn’t
exactly show the bright vibrant side of Salford.
If i could do anything differently next time it would record more footage
but of other things apart from the hospital for example other landmarks
in Salford like Salford Quays. But we never actually got round to doing
this because of our groups bad organizational skills and laziness also
unexpected absences made it harder for us to do this.
I think we met the client’s requirements in some ways but I don’t think it’s
the most interesting thing to watch but it definitely shows the nice side of
Salford. Also I think they probably expected more from us for example
more footage of Salford but they will probably enjoy watching the photos
in our advert.
