Serbia joined World War I that started in July 1914 when Austria Hungary attacked the kingdom
of Serbia just at the onset of the world war one. The Serbia army was severely destroyed losing

Introduction Some economists assume that people make a choice according to the principle of
value maximisation and the ordering of the options is independent of the context. However, there
are anomalies of decision making suggesting that the context matters. The three basic anomalies are
the similarity effect (Tversky, 1972), the attraction effect (Huber, Payne and Puto, 1982) and the
compromise effect (Simonson, 1989). Theorists have tried explaining these effects by various
approaches. For example, the multi alternative decision field theory (Roe, Busemeyer and
Townsend, 2001) can explain all the three effects. In addition, Tversky (1972) applied the
elimination by aspects model to illustrate the similarity effect and Tversky and Simonson (1993)
introduced a componential context model to explain the attraction and compromise effects. The
next section reviews the three anomalies of multi alternative decision making. Then we illustrate
how the three theories mentioned above explain the anomalies. After that, the decision field theory

Solar energy is widely believed to be the most promising renewable energy source to fulfill the
ever increasing energy demand from human society now and into the future. Dye sensitized solar
cells (DSSCs) have been explored as a potentially low cost alternative to silicon solar cell
technology due to their lower fabrication costs compared to crystalline semiconductor
photovoltaics. However, the optimized efficiency for DSSCs has not been achieved yet, and the
chemical stability between dye and semiconductor has also not been addressed completely. In this
research, we applied the following four main strategies to prepare photoanodes used in DSSCs with
the aim of improving stability and efficiency: 1) utilizing surface chemistry to modify the porous
semiconductor films, 2) linking covalently [Di tetrabutylammoniumcis bis (isothiocyanato) bis (2, 2
bipyridyl 4, 4 dicarboxy lato) ruthenium (II), N719] dye on the surface of semiconductor films, and
study the charge injection dynamics by ultrafast transient absorption spectroscopy, 3) doping the
semiconductor films with micro sized neodymium oxide (Nd2O3) particles, and (4) incorporating
metal nanoparticles through molecular linkers to the semiconductor films. The objectives of this

and the video I was watching. What the video shows is a group of ultra rich white men that use

As an employee of the NRCS, I see the benefits of the program first hand. I work with the
program and its participants on a daily basis. I hear the positive feedback from the participants. In
my year of work experience I have had the opportunity to work with these participants from
beginning to end. The comparison of a pre EQIPed operation to a post EQIPed operation is
tremendous. I personally believe the benefits of EQIP outweigh the costs of the program.

Temperance Reform In The 19th Century
In the 19th century people did not like what the American society was turning into, so to control
behaviors, and shape cultures the way they wanted. They created reforms to create a better
environment. Reforms were made for temperance, abolitionist, antiprostitution, and other things
that people thought they needed to change in the United States. They would do this by using
popular things like songs, plays, novels, and narratives. Reformers wanted their information to
develop to a large audience, so they could participate in their reforms. Although, not all the reforms
were effective one that was very successful was the temperance reform. The 19th centurywas when
people would drink large amounts of alcohol, especially men, which is why the temperance
reform was put in place. On average, Americans drank about seven gallons of hard alcohol,
including whiskey and other distilled spirits. These people did not think that drinking was
harmful, and they said that alcohol was cleaner than water. Drinking was becoming out of

way too often, and Mary goes to the bar to tell her father to come home almost every night

petition the courts to shield conviction records for nonviolent misdemeanors (possession of a
controlled substance, prostitution, disorderly conduct, disturbing the peace, etc.) from ... Show more
In Maryland, public assistance programs as well as housing programs are able to deny assistance
to individuals with incarceration histories or convictions on their records. The Corporation for
Supportive Housing estimates that 10 to 12 percent of former inmates are homeless. Other studies
put the count at between 15 and 27 percent (Law). With such a large percentage of inmates being
released to the streets, it is no wonder that rates of recidivism are so high.
Marylanders need to push for the Second Chance Act to apply to housing, and not solely to
employment opportunities.
Who is impacted?
After a three to five year waiting period, the Maryland Second Chance Act shields conviction
records of individuals with nonviolent misdemeanors. The crimes that are shielded as written in
the bill are as follows: (1)DISORDERLY CONDUCT
(2) DISTURBING THE PEACE
(3) FAILURE TO OBEY A REASONABLE AND LAWFUL ORDER
(4) MALICIOUS DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY IN THE LESSER DEGREE [under $500
damage]
(5) TRESPASS ON POSTED PROPERTY
(6) POSSESSING OR ADMINISTERING A CONTROLLED DANGEROUS SUBSTANCE
(7) POSSESSING OR ADMINISTERING A NONCONTROLLED SUBSTANCE
(8) USE OF OR POSSESSION WITH INTENT TO USE DRUG PARAPHERNALIA
(9) DRIVING WITHOUT A LICENSE
(10) DRIVING WHILE PRIVILEGE IS CANCELED, SUSPENDED, REFUSED, OR REVOKED
