Jasper Jones Belonging Quotes
In the 2009 novel Jasper Jones, written by Craig Silvey, an obvious theme of belonging emerges from
the text. This story is set in a fictional small Australian town known as Corrigan, where many of its
residents struggle to feel a connection with others and wish to move to the city, or any other place with
more potential for success. While it is a key value that is demonstrated by Silvey throughout the text,
it is clear that there are many disturbances within the community that prevent many from feeling a
sense of belonging. Many of the Understanding each of Silvey s characters personal idea on the
concept of belonging is easy once it is determined who does not fit in. Each character represents a
unique form of desire for human connection.

The World And Caution Of The Arab World
As the Ottoman Empire s fall drew closer, the concept of Arab representation and its manifestation as
both a valid state and successor rose as a strong candidate towards a new rule. However, the Arab
world is faced with two distinctive parties that wish to establish their own set of rules of national
identity. The first party belongs to the Pan Arab movement that wishes to unite all the Arab people
from the farthest east to its west of the Arabic speaking world. Meanwhile, the second party involves
advocates of separate national identities that are distinguishable between each nation instead of one
solid nationalist vision. Both parties contain an argument as to what is the most beneficial towards the
Middle Eastern and North African region. With Pan Arab leaders, such as the Arab Socialist Ba ath
Party s Michel Aflaq and Salah al Din al Bitar, advocating a strong anti imperialist sentiment in the
face of European involvement in the Arab world and caution of the Ottomans gruesome history
repeating. Additionally, Pan Arab nationalism and socialism was advocated by prominent leader
Gamal Abdel Nasser. On the other hand, prominent state nationalists that wanted their own
independent countries to rise came forward with leaders such as Lebanese intellectuals like George
Samné and Antoun Saadeh, who recognized the sovereignty of their own Syrian statehood and defied
the concept of a more group inclusive ideal.
To begin with the Pan Arab parties movements and their push towards

The urbanisation is happening because people think that they will be able to get a better job in the city
but most of them never reach the city but end up in one of the many slum located around the city
where the poverty is way worse than in most rural areas. In this report I am going to show you how we
can spend the 10 million pound in the most effective so that we have the most positive impact possible
on the people currently living in the Kibera slums.
I don t think that upgrading the building to make them more secure is a good idea because it is too
expensive to do it to many places and I think that you should fix some of the more extreme and
important problems first like have none to very little education.
I think that the idea of moving the slums is a very bad idea because all that you are doing is moving
the same problems just to somewhere different.
This could be a good idea and you could think of implementing it in the future but at the current time
it is too

The Myth Of The Word Narcissism
The word narcissism develops from the popular Greek myth of the flawless young man, Narcissus,
who falls in love with his own reflection in a pool of water and becomes self obsessed. Narcissism still
plagues are society today. This behavior reflected in society involves arrogant behavior, a lack of
empathy for other people, and the constant need for admiration. In the years of 2002 through 2007,
students in college scores on the Narcissistic Personality Inventory (NPI) rose twice as high compared
to an earlier study that covered changes between 1982 and 2006 (Twenge). Jean Twenge, a professor
of psychology at San Diego University, uses psychological data, mainly from American college
students, to support the idea that today s youth are ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
On the negative side, the generation is categorized as narcissistic, lazy, and prone to jump from job to
job. The book written by Ron Alsop in 2008, Trophy Kids, shares data on how many young people are
given rewards for basic accomplishments (such as mere participation) in competitive sports, and have
unrealistic expectations of working life (Main). Millennials were often offered many participation
trophies growing up that a study showed 40% should be promoted every two years, regardless of
performance (Stein). Studies on the millennials show that they hold symptoms of the narcissistic
personality disorder nearly three times as high for people in their 20s as for the generation that is now
65 or older, according to the National Institutes of Health. They also have evidence that 58% of
college students scored higher on a narcissism scale in 2009 than in 1982 (Stein). Jean Twenge
compares decades of personality test results which repeatedly conclude that the younger generation
are increasingly self obsessed, entitled, and unprepared for the realities of adult life. Twenge blames it
mainly on America s culture idea of self esteem, where every parent or guardian praises every child as
special, and self worth is considered necessary to succeed,

Essay on The Relationship between Dido and Aeneas
The Relationship between Dido and Aeneas
Throughout the beginning of the Aeneid Dido, the queen of Carthage, and Aeneas, son of Venus and
leader of the Trojans have an intimate relationship that ends in death. The relationship begins in Book
I when Venus, the goddess of love, has her other son Cupid fill Dido with passion for Aeneas, to
ensure Aeneas s safety in this new land. Meanwhile Venus/Plotted new stratagems, that Cupid,
changed/ In form and feature, should appear instead/ Of young Ascanius, and by his gifts/ Inspire the
queen to passion, with his fire/ Burning her very bones. (693) Venus did this to protect Aeneas and his
son, in fear that Dido would have otherwise been cruel to them.
As Aeneas tells his story he portrays ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
They both do this for their own personal well being, but it does bring the couple together even more
then originally intended. Dido s passion has gone out of control, which causes physical and emotional
disorder. What woman/ In love is helped by offerings or altars?/ Soft fire consumes the marrow bones,
the silent/ Wound grows, deep in the heart. (67) This is an excellent example of Dido s inability to
control her passion, whereas she resembles the fire, and the wounds make the fire grow deeper. The
reference to her marrowbones is probably in place to reinforce the lust that cupid had burned within
her bones earlier. Her burning passion for Aeneas makes her grow physically sick.
Dido has realized that her relationship with Aeneas is over, and that her compelling passion for him
will bring her to an end, and she is still unable to change the course of events. When Dido learns about
Aeneas s departure she is overcome by rage, and despair, which brings her to the decision that she will
kill herself. Then Dido prays for death at last; (488). She has hoped that Aeneas would fall and die,
untimely, let him like unburied on the sand. (662). At this time she lies down on the funeral pyre and
stabs herself with Aeneas s sword.
Although Aeneas was a star struck lover, he is driven by fate to his only true love, Italy, and it appears
that he has replaced his love for Dido with the love for his future home. Shove off, be gone! A

anymore. I am so tired. I feel like it is 10000000000000000 miles to walk from Sweeney to the East
Hall. However, whenever I first step into the class, the first thing I will look for is what hat is going to
be on Mr. Driscoll s head. There are all cute and smart hats! I laugh every single time I look at his
funny hats. Oh, I have a tagline for this class! A hat a day, keeps the stress away. Ah, I am going to

Time flies so fast. Spring is about coming to the end. I am definitely not the same person today as I
was yesterday. Everything has changed; hopefully in a good way. Yes, I make mistakes, I reflect, and I
become wiser at the end. In this essay, I am going to write some reflections that drive me to become a
better writer.
During the process of drafting a paper, one of the things I have in mind is my audience. In order to
write a good paper, it is crucial to consider the audience so you can identify how you are going to
write it. For example, if you are going to write letter to your brother, it will sound weird if you use
formal language. Same goes if you are writing to the Obama; it will definitely sound weird if you
greet him like, how is it going, bro? It is way too informal and you cannot do this if you are writing to
your leader. What I am trying to say here is it is your audience that will determine the style of your
writing.

Essay on All the Presidents Men
All the President s Men is a book by Carl Bernstein and Bob Woodward. The book discussed what
happened to President Nixon in the Watergate Scandal from Bernstein and Woodward s point of view.
The Watergate Scandal was a significant part of presidential history. This even would result in Nixon s
resignation and what would have been his guaranteed impeachment. The Watergate Scandal took an
impact on politics as a whole. Politicians are known as liars and people who keep secrets from the
public. The Watergate Scandal is something Nixon can never make up for, but will always

Seven . The Watergate Seven involved John Mitchell, H.R. Haldeman, Kenneth Parkinson, Charles

different things in the Watergate Scandal. They broke into the Watergate hotel, wiretapped phones and
attempted burglaries. The Watergate Scandal was truly the biggest political scandal in United States
History. Over forty people where charged with crimes relating to the scandal. Bernstein and
Woodward were given a fantastic oppourtunity to uncover something truly significant in history. The
twenty one months of investigative reporting done by these two men would ruin Nixon s name and
make these two common everyday reporters lives change forever. Woodward first got his life
changing call on June 17th 1972 with his editor telling him about a small invasion of the Democratic
Party Headquarters. With being related to the scandal, two members of President Nixon s cabinet,
H.R. Hadlemen and John Ehrlichman, quickly resigned. When first thought of the president even

Causes and Treatments of Peptic Ulcer Disease
A peptic ulcer can be defined as an excavation that forms in the mucosal wall of the stomach, in the
pylorus, in the duodenum, or in the esophagus (Brunner, Suddarth and Smeltzer, 2008). According to
Fromm, (2009) Helobactor pylori is a gram negative bacteria that is the cause of most peptic ulcer
disease and is considered a primary risk factor in the development of gastic cancer (pg. 394). Other
causes include stress, and excessive secrtion of Hydrochloric acid in the stomach. Transmission of H.
pylori according to Gurney, Carvalho, Gonzalez, Galaviz Sonstein (2014) states there is strong
research supporting that H. pylori can be spread person to person through direct contact with saliva,
vomit, or fecal matter (pg. 393). H. Pylori is more prevalent in crowded areas without reliable access
to clean water. Other risk factors include poor hygiene, smoking, and close living conditions with
someone who is infected with H. pylori. Symptoms of an ulcer include a burning sensation in the
stomach and esophagus, vomiting, diarrhea or constipation and bleeding. Treatment of Peptic Ulcer
Disease includes antibiotics to eradicate H. pylori bacteria; proton pump inhibitors are used to treat
NSAID induced ulcers and other ulcers not associated with the bacterial infection, smoking cessation
and dietary modifications. Surgical management is recommended for ulcers that fail to heal after 12 16
months of treatments and the procedures include pyloroplasy, anrectomy or vagotomy.

Phaedo Death Scene
Phaedo s death scene occurs in a prison cell where Socrates is awaiting his execution. With him in the
cell are his friend among them Crito who had come to be with him before the execution. The two are
having a conversation and like a good friend he is Crito asks Socrates what he would want done
concerning his children or any other issue that he would want looked into. He answers Crito by
indicating that if they look after and take care of themselves, then they would automatically be
followed by good thing (Morgan 72). This is like his will and death wishes to his child. Just like in the
modern context where one leaves a will, Socrates also willed that his friend and family look after
themselves. Crito also asks him how he would want to be buried. He answers stating that Crito should
do whatever he wishes with his corpse (Grube and Cooper 55). According to Socrates, ones he dies his
soul will be separated from his body and continue living on to eternity, and his corpse would no longer
be him. He tells Crito not to get disturbed if he sees his body burnt or buried. His dying wishes were
that no one should be bothered by how he would be buried. He also ... Show more content on

How Olympus Has Fallen Made Similar Strides For Success
For a world fearful of terrorism, we sure do love to watch mad men run amok in a fictional capacity
and do so in epic fashion. Usually it s aliens devastating the world s largest cities, but on occasion, it s
nothing more than a evil doer with a vision. Popular films, like Die Hard, Air Force One, and Speed

In the Apology, due to Socrates activities against the politicians, poets, and craftsmen resulted in being
prosecuted. That activity was the quest to find an individual who is wiser than himself to understand
what the Delphic Oracle told Socrates. This led to Socrates questioning and insulting their wisdom.
Meletus, who represents the poets, is the main accuser of Socrates and convicts him for investigating
the things beneath the earth and in the heavens and making the weaker argument stronger and teaching
others these same things (19b c). The point I will try to express in this exegesis is to show Socrates

Analysis Of The Cohen Brother s Film True Grit
It is always a challenge for filmmakers to take a beloved character from literature and bring him or her
to life. There is not enough time to do an adequate amount of characterization, which is why many
films fail to accurately portray a character. The Cohen Brother s film True Grit, an adaptation of the
novel by Charles Portis, created a better portrayal of the character of Mattie Ross, the feisty, head
strong, and tough young girl. Through costume and set design, as well as the narrative choices the
directors chose to take, the resilient, no nonsense, bratty young girl was brought to life.
In the book, Mattie Ross is a very feisty, head strong, and tough young girl. Mattie does not let her age
get in the way of anything she sets off to do and is never afraid to give some lip when needed. These
characteristics are shown in the novel in scenes like her first introduction with LaBoeuf. He threatens
to hit her with his belt and she replies, Put a hand on me and you will answer for it...the good people
of Arkansas do not go easy on men who abuse women and children (76) . She is a 14 year old girl
standing up for herself against a grown man, which is something most adults can struggle with. This
scene is an example that gives the readers a look into who Mattie is as a person, which the Cohen
brothers did a very good job of capturing. In the Cohen Brother s version mise en scene was used so
effectively that it was like the Mattie in the book was on screen. The costume

Scopes Monkey Trial Of The Century Essay
In 1925, the Scopes Monkey Trial captured national interest and the infamous moniker Trial of the
Century due to William Jennings Bryan serving as part of the prosecution and Clarence Darrow
serving as defense counsel to John Scopes with the social divide between science and religion serving
as the backdrop, a controversy that has persisted to the modern day. William Jennings
Bryan(henceforth Bryan) was well known to the American people for his political involvement with
the Democrat party and his passionate speeches as a Presbyterian. In contrast, Clarence
Darrow(henceforth Darrow) was well known for his work as an attorney regarding labor law issues

of the Century , where he defended Nathan Leopold and Richard Loeb. Between the involvement of
these two titanic public figures, the social divide between science and religion only served to stoke the

Benefits Of A Plant-Based Diet

animal products and processed foods, but they contain these vital minerals. Natural, Plant Based
Foods for Lower Blood Pressure
1. White beans. White beans include navy beans, cannellini beans (white kidney beans), and Great
Northern beans. One cup of navy beans contains 10% of your daily value of potassium, and 26%
magnesium. Check labels on bags and cans, because some varieties provide even more! My favorite
way to enjoy white beans is in a soup, much like this EASY recipe including kale. Always drain and

Green Black s uses organic cane sugar. 5. Beets. If you only add one new food to your low blood
pressure grocery list, make it beets. A University of London study reveals that drinking just over two
cups of beetroot juice daily lowers blood pressure. The active ingredient here are dietary nitrates that
react with our digestive juices. I m guessing that the juice in particular is effective because it s a high
concentration of nutrients. Two cups of juice would likely take four beets, depending on the size. That
s quite a lot for one glass! Because fiber is crucial to absorption, try putting beetroot into your
smoothies. Good juicers are mighty expensive for having but one purpose. Modern countertop
blenders are tough enough to break beets down to a smooth, silky texture. 6. Hibiscus tea. In other
countries, hibiscus tea is a common natural cure for lowering blood pressure quickly. This tart herbal
infusion made from the beautiful flowering plant has many medicinal benefits. It s very high in
vitamin C and iron, so you should drink it even if blood pressure isn t a concern. But it s not a source
of magnesium or potassium, so how does it work? For one, hibiscus tea is a natural diuretic. But it
also dilates blood vessels, and disrupts hormones that send vessel constricting signals. Some studies

The importance of the Fourteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution is such that some have
called it the amendment that completed the Constitution. When it was ratified on July 9th, 1868, the

The conquering North was hoping to, as was said by Abraham Lincoln in his Second Inaugural
Address, bind up the nation s wounds, and obtain, a lasting peace, among ourselves, and with all
nations. However, the South, while it had been forced to discontinue slavery, was not prepared to
accept Blacks as equal citizens, either politically or socially. In late 1865, Southern states began
creating the set of laws that became known as the Black Codes, severely restricting the rights of the
newly freed African Americans living in the South. The degree to which the Black Codes limited
freedom of African Americans would eventually become one of the major motivations for the passage
of first the Civil Rights Act of 1866, and finally, in 1868, the Fourteenth Amendment. By March of
1866, eight states of the former Confederacy had adopted various laws limiting the freedoms of
African Americans. In the Slaughterhouse Cases (1873), some of the first Supreme Court cases to deal

Reformulation Of Learned Helplessness
Learned helplessness occurs when a person is repeatedly exposed to an aversive stimuli and feels that
no matter how much they try to escape; they are not successful. Therefore, they tend to cave in since a
sense of being helpless has been developed to escape the situation. Early studies on the idea of learned
helplessness occurred accidently since psychologists were initially studying avoidance learning in

however, these dogs later on stop attempting to escape and would submissively accept the foot shocks.
Then these psychologists tried numerous situations to examine this sensation by placing the dogs in

Then the participants were place in a new situation where no unpleasant noise was used however,
participants that were exposed to the learned helplessness condition performed worse on solving
problems in the second situation than the other participants. People tend to generalize their
experiences of helplessness from one situation to the next in regards to how feel about the situation
and the loss of control they have towards it. Current researchers are focused on what factors influence
people to develop this sense of helplessness and also goes on their mind who undergoes this
interpretation of the world. The reformulation of learned helplessness theory emphasizes the
importance of the thoughts that lead a person to develop feelings of helplessness. The explanatory
style of the learned helplessness refers to the explanations people use to identified the causes of
events. Three dimensions are used when explaining the causes of events. The first dimension identifies
explanations for events as either internal or

The Role Of Eugenics In The Twentieth Century
In the twentieth century, the eugenics movement assembled a powerful coalition of progressives,
intellectuals, and professionals to advocate an agenda of eugenic legal reform. This agenda centered
on the belief that many undesirable traits are hereditary and that the government should be permitted
to remove those traits from the racial stock. Those who were mentally disabled or ill, or belonged to
socially disadvantaged groups were the main targets for the movement. C.W. Saleeby once stated The
feeble minded, and the alcoholic, and the insane, and those afflicted with venereal disease, must be so
guarded and treated in the future that they shall not become parents at all. This disgusting and ignorant
way of thinking was how many eugenicists felt. Sadly, our government allowed these people to guard
and treat other individuals without their consent ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The scary part is that many of them perceived their agenda of separating the classes as following the
objective logic of science. They were unable to see that their white privilege and economic privilege
biased their understandings of science. Their way of thinking was more on the lines of: Stop
permitting criminals and weaklings to reproduce. All over the country today we have enormous insane
asylums and similar institutions where we nourish the unfit and criminal instead of exterminating
them (Luther Burbank), however, both genetics and reality are far more complicated than that.
Brilliant parents do not produce brilliant children and criminals do not produce criminals. Eugenicists
also failed to realize that social conditions such as poverty and lack of access to education and health
care are much more likely to cause negative social outcomes than genetics. A couple questions I asked
myself was What s fair? and Who decides? Who determines what is desirable? One s color, education,
disability, or bad habit does not determine their right to

Feedback Interpersonal Communication
2.0. Interpersonal communication and the skill listening
2.1. Definition and explanation of the interpersonal skill of listening
Listening is defined as a circular response consisting of the following skills: receiving, understanding,
remembering, evaluation and responding (DeVito, 2011). The receiving aspect of listening consists of
the listener taking note of what is said and what isn t said; this links to the understanding aspect of the
overall concept, which entails the listener interpreting the signals of the speaker and grasping the tone
and thoughts expressed (DeVito, 2011). The remembering feature of listening focuses attention on
central ideas, organizing what is heard and identifying relationships between previous and new

Gabriel Garcia Marquez Research Paper
Gabriel Garcia Marquez was born in the town of Aracataca, Colombia in 1927 according to bio.com.
Growing up, Marquez spent the first few years of his life living with his parents and his maternal
grandparents, Colonel Nicolas Marquez and Tranquilina Iguaran de Marquez. After the death of
Nicolas, the family then moved to Barranquilla. Marquez achieved a higher education in the area of
law, but he continued to follow his dream and become a journalist; at the time, he started writing
during a murderous upheaval in Colombia known as La Violencia (BIO.com). He claimed that

This man tends to be surrounded by amazing and unbelievable events, starting from when the
newborn boy of Pelayo and his wife, Elisenda, fights off his grave sickness. This continues to show
through the next several years of the story. The old man brings, although skewed, miracles to the
villagers. One man, hoping to cure his blindness, grew 3 new teeth. A cripple, wanting to walk again,
almost won the lottery. A leper even sprouted sunflowers from their sores. These consolation miracles
, as Marquez described them in his story, also ended the popularity of the old man and stopped the
flow of people into the family s land. This event not only allowed the family to rebuild their house
from the money they raised but also cured Father Gonzaga s insomnia. The old man s wings also play
a huge role in showing that he is a good person. Wings represent many different things across many
different cultures but in Christianity, which is the main religion expressed in this story, wings can be
described as the light of the Sun of Justice that shows the intelligence of the Just (Albornoz,
Fernandez). If the old man is an angel, as the villagers believe, then his wings should exhibit this.
Angels should also exhibit strong goodwill towards the living. The winged man shows more of the
attitude of angels though his patience. He never gets mad at the people who travel from around the
world to see him no matter what they do to him. From people picking his feathers from his wings to
people burning his side with a steer branding tool. This patience is almost on the level of a god or
deity. Whatever the case is, the old man stays very passive toward the people and never hurts or rebels
against his captors or others, only helping

Essay about Attacks and Al-Qaeda in Northern Afghanistan
According to the New York Times, the Taliban and Al Qaeda have opened a new front in the
previously peaceful northern Afghanistan. They have also stepped up attacks in their heartland,
southern provinces. To defeat the insurgents, General McChrystal, the US commander in Kabul, has
requested 40,000 additional troops and resources to persuade the moderate Taliban to abandon
violence. But this strategy is likely to succeed only with the help from key regional states.
Increased fatalities and dwindled public support have put pressure on President Obama to end the war
quickly. According to icasualties.org, 1,530 coalition soldiers, including 928 Americans, have died in
Afghanistan since 2001. The death toll has spiked by 64 percent ... Show more content on

America and Pakistan have different goals in Afghanistan. While Washington wants to defeat the
Taliban and Al Qaeda, Pakistan wants them to stop violence in its territories and to capture power in
Kabul. Islamabad sees the Afghan war as an opportunity to strengthen its military, with Western
support, to fend off India and lean on New Delhi to resolve the Kashmir dispute. From Pakistan s
perspective, the Taliban jihadists trained in Pakistani madarsas and supported by the Inter Service
Intelligence, the military spy agency will make the best allies in Kabul and help augment the anti
Indian jihad in Kashmir.
All other neighbors, except China, had assisted the Northern Alliance to topple the Taliban in 2001
and still oppose their victory. India, the regional hegemon with broad influence in South Asia, believes
a Taliban ruled Afghanistan will support the jihadists in Kashmir and fan the fire of Islamic extremism
elsewhere. Iran fears that the Taliban will foment troubles in its Sunni areas, and Tajikistan and
Uzbekistan are afraid that a Taliban state will motivate their extremists to pursue a similar goal. All
these nations had helped the Northern Alliance to topple the Taliban in 2001. China too is now worried
that Taliban victory could further fuel Islamist militancy in Xinjiang and other western provinces.

Heathcliff Dynamic Character
There are some people who just draw attention. They do so without asking for it, but a light naturally
shines on them and they command the center of attention. Whether it be for good or bad reasons,
people cannot help but stare. One would imagine that if Heathcliff was a real person he would be one
of these individuals. He is a truly special character and the moment someone meets him in the book
that person is intrigued. The reader meets Heathcliff through several points of view and it is
impossible not to be drawn to him. This is partly due to how much of a dynamic and round character

Women s Rights Activist Analysis
Many women s rights activists have been at the forefront of confronting domestic violence and other
issues affecting women. Due to the government s suspicion of large scale protests and rallies, many
activists rely on creatively presenting their activism as art, which does not require as many people
participating in such demonstrations and arouses less attention by the government. China requires
many NGOs to work with official government organizations such as the All China Women s

Era of Good Feeling Dbq Essays
The period after the War of 1812 during the presidency of James Monroe is often referred to as the era
of good feelings because of a feeling of nationalism, a feeling of pride and national unity. The end of
the Federalist Party also provided the nation with a feeling of nationalism, for there was no political
opposition toward the Republicans. This title, however, may not be the most accurate label for this
particular time period, for this time period marked the beginnings of sectionalism, with heated debates
over tariffs, the National Bank, and most importantly, over slavery. After the War of 1812 a
Nationalistic spark ran throughout much of the United States. A primary factor in this emergence of

Those who had moved westward toward the frontier also did not entirely approve of the national bank,
for they looked far a way of easy credit, which was in the form of state banks. The westernmost and
southernmost states were entirely based on agriculture, while the states toward the north east coast
were based on an industrial economy. The Protective Tariff of 1816 caused disagreements between
these two sections of the United States, for the Tariff unfairly benefitted the manufacturers of the
North East. Most importantly, with regards to sectionalism, were the many disputes involving slavery.
As Anna Hayes from South Carolina asserts, in her letter to her cousin, the situation in South Carolina
was just as bad if not superior to the scenes acted in St. Domingo. South Carolina was currently
experiencing slave revolts at that time. These slave revolts brought up the question of whether or not
slavery was correct which caused mush sectionalism between different regions of the United States.
John Randolph, who also apposed the Tariff of 1816, mentioned that a simple geographical line the
Missouri Compromise was not enough to completely silence the controversy of slavery. The label of

Ancient Solar Architecture Essay
Ancient Solar Architecture
Passive solar design and architecture may seem like a distant dream in our fast paced modern world,
but in reality it s more of a modern revival of a style of energy efficient building that has been around
for millennia. What once seemed to be common sense ideas for designing a house that could both
keep you cool in the summer and warm in the winter has somehow been forgotten since we started to
overuse the planet s resources on our own comforts. When heating a house took lots of effort it was
the wise choice to design a building that could use the energy provided by the sun in the most
advantageous ways. Unfortunately, in my opinion, since all we have to do now to heat our house is a

Not only is it the actual building either that needs to be thought about, but also the shape, style and
location of the external features that can be used for shading and other purposes. Again, this is not a
new idea. In 1 B.C., Vitruvius, the chief architect of the Roman Empire said, We must begin by taking
note of the climate in which buildings are to be built if our designs for them are to be correct . One
type building seems appropriate for Egypt, another for Spain, one still different for Rome, and so on
with lands and countries of varying characteristics. Some civilizations even used solar architecture for
purposes other than for heat. The Egyptian pyramids were able to oriented to track the position of the
sun. There were many temples that had shafts that could be opened on certain days like the solstice to
allow light beams down to an altar . This is very impressive considering that the exact angles of the
sun s rays had to be calculated and then the shafts had to be accurately constructed in order to perform
as designed. This principle also demonstrates how solar architecture doesn t have to be entirely for
heating and cooling. The design of solar homes can be very pleasing to the occupants. They are often
more open and well lighted, and they give the feel of being more connected to nature since the house
actually changes as the outside world changes.
One of the civilizations that we know the most about was Greece. They began to use

An obvious difference would be the time gap. Star Trek: The Original Series came out in 1966. Its
counterpart, Star Trek: The Next Generation did not make its debut until over twenty years later in
1987. The time difference also contributed to the difference in technology available. Due to the lack of
certain special effects technology, The Original Series seemed to be a lower quality program, however,
they were doing the best they could with their available resources. By 1987, extraordinary
advancement had been made in cinematic technology, allowing for The Next Generation to have a
much more diverse set of special effects at their disposal. The new show, which updates the futuristic
scenario of the original by being set in the 24th century, 85 years beyond the time of the first series,

American Marriage Practices
There are various customs and traditions for marriage in United States based on varying factors such
as culture, social norms, and religion. There are no unique practices because most of practices are
derived from other cultures. The marriage practices and customs revolve around wedding attire, before
wedding, wedding ceremony, reception, and after wedding. White bridal dresses are worn with a veil
in weddings. However, those not wedding for the first time can choose any color of bridal dresses
apart from white. Before a wedding, most have bridal showers where the bride receives gifts from the
guests. Preparation takes considerable time to plan a wedding. In a wedding, groomsmen and
bridesmaids are included (Lilian, 2013). The bride s father walks the bride down the aisle to indicate
approval of the groom. The typical 21st century wedding can now feature a supporting cast of
stepparents, half siblings, Dad s new girlfriend and her kids, the bride s first stepfather and his new

America has the most crime and violence. Why not Switzerland or Australia? Are we not as civilized

They need to learn to talk out and solve any disagreements or problems through other means than
violence. They must not know violence as an answer, as if violence was never even an option to
consider in solving a problem. I recently became aware of the problem of violence in children when I
started observing my child at play at my apartment complex. I had watched my daughter play with
many children and never really noticed nothing violent nor aggressive about her. However as she gets
older and more interested in television she is becoming, much more aggressive especially as she plays
outside with her friends. She would punch and copy the moves of the cartoon shows she watched even
to the point of copying their war cries and sayings. The media claims that they have no influence on
children, that could not be further from the truth. Children are the easiest to manipulate and take
advantage of because they are innocent and because they are innocent they are also ignorant. The main
problem was the television shows that she was watching. That is very obvious. The problem was not
just television itself but the combination of television and child. Children are very susceptible and
easily persuaded as we all know. In the early 1960 s, Albert Bandura of Stanford was the first to
present the theory that children not only learned from their parents through imitation but also through

Causes And Treatment Of Sickle Cell Anemia
Introduction
Approximately 70,000 100,000 Americans have sickle cell anemia, the most common form of an
inherited blood disorder that causes the production of abnormal hemoglobin, a protein that attaches to
oxygen in the lungs and carries it to all parts of the body.1 Sickle cell anemia is a inherited disorder
which causes the manifestation of unreliable hemoglobin resulting unevenly shaped red blood cells,
recognized as sickle cells. People with sickle cell disease have red blood cells that have mostly
hemoglobin S, an irregular type of hemoglobin opposite of what a person has without this disease.
Sometimes these red blood cells become sickle shaped like a moon crescent and have difficulty
passing through small blood vessels under ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In the United States, 1 in 400 African American newborns have the disease; other people affected
include Hispanics, people of Mediterranean and Middle Eastern descent, and Asians. 2 Sickle cell
anemia exists at birth, but sometimes many infants don t show any signs or symptoms until after 4
months of age or older.
Someone who inherits only one sickle cell gene and a normal gene from the other parent will have the
sickle cell trait, but not the disease. People with sickle cell trait don t have sickle cell disease and
typically don t show signs of the disorder, but they can pass the gene for the disease to their children
and etc. Even thought sickle cell disease can cause severe health complications, some of these can be
life threatening. In other words people with sickle cell does not live as long compared to people who
do not have this disease.

Some of the symptoms include fatigue, shortness of breath, dizziness, headaches, coldness of hands
and feet rapid heart rate, delayed growth and puberty, weakness to infections, ulcers on the lower legs,

Today s Juvenile Court System Essay
Today s juvenile court system handles most cases involving those under the age of 18 year old. This
was not always the case and the ideal of a separate court system for adults and children is only about
100 years old. When looking at the differences that set juvenile courts apart, it is important to study
the history and see how it developed over time.
The movement to separate children from adults in the court system can be traced back to English
common law, just like most of America s criminal justice system. English lawyer William Blackstone
had a significant influence on the separation of Juvenile and adult courts. Blackstone s Commentaries
on the Laws of England, that was first published in the late 1760 s, was widely read and well regarded
by the founders of America (History of Juvenile Justice). In Blackstone s book, he identified
individuals who were considered incapable of committing crimes (History of Juvenile Justice). Two
requirement needed to be met in order for someone to commit a crime. First, the individual had to
have a vicious will , or the intent to commit a crime (History of Juvenile Justice). Second, the
individual had to commit the crime. Blackstone then when on to state that one group of people who
were unable to commit a crime were called infants (History of Juvenile Justice). These people where
not literality infant or babies, but people too young to understand their actions, and therefore lacked
the vicious will needed to commit a crime. At

Analytics In Basketball
There is a field in the sport of basketball that is growing at a rapid pace. That field is called analytics.
Nearly every team in the NBA now has an analytics department. However, it is important to fully
understand analytics before applying that knowledge to the sport of basketball. Analytics is the
discovery and communication of meaningful patterns in data (Stolbunov 1). Analytics being used in
sports is simply called sports analytics. Even though analytics has its flaws, it has had a major impact
on team building in basketball using statistics like player efficiency rating and effective field goal
percentage. There are many important statistics used in analytics, but a couple are used to very great
effect. One of the most important statistics ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In baseball, the book Moneyball revolutionized the way that the whole sport looked at analytics.
Basketball has a comparable situation. The book Basketball on Paper dives into the numbers behind
the sport (Haefner 10). In this book, author Dean Oliver states there are four main statistics to tell
which team will win, and also states of how much importance these statistics are. He says that a team s
shooting is forty percent of winning, turnovers are twenty five percent, rebounding is twenty percent,
and and free throws are fifteen percent (Haefner 11). One of the fathers of analytics in basketball
claims that shooting is far and away the most important statistic in the game. However, in order to
know how a team is performing in this category, the team must be compared against other teams.
Doing this is extremely easy. If comparing two teams playing each other, the opposing team s
effective field goal percentage is simply subtracted from the team being observed (Haefner 15). A
golden example of the utility of effective field goal percentage is the Golden State Warriors. This team
has broken records for three pointers made, and recently won seventy three games in a single season.
The Warriors have an advantage on almost every other team in the NBA because of the vast amount of
three pointers that they take (Dizikes 2). The ease with which effective field goal percentage can be
used and its direct correlation to which team wins the game makes it possibly the most useful statistic
in the game of basketball. However, while shooting does have a direct correlation for team
performance, it does not always have a major impact on how a single player

Essay On The American Education System
America, one of the world s super powers and most prosperous nations, is known for its dominantly
huge military, prominent cultural and political influences. Yet, America still ranks only 10th in
education worldwide. Why is this? The education system of the US has stayed relatively the same for
almost 150 years, with no reform. Outdated methods of teaching are still in practice. Though many
may feel that the American education system is a model of success, compared to the educational
system of Finland, the American education system is in dire need of change. For one, as stated before,
America still uses the same methods of education today as nearly two centuries ago. In this span of
time, America has come far in many different ways, such as our military, economy, and government.
Education shouldn t be left behind, as it s the most important for future generations so ... Show more

Becoming a teacher in Finland is much more difficult and revered than becoming a teacher in
America, as teaching in Finland is considered a very important career. Becoming a teacher is
competitive, and teachers are required a master s degree and pedagogical training. Teachers must also
complete academic studies in their field to maintain their career, while some American teachers teach
subjects that they re unfamiliar about. This is an obvious mistake that could be corrected by proper
training of teachers, and higher requirements needed for teaching. The last main difference is that in
American schools students are expected to learn at the same pace as every other student. In Finland,
one on one training is often practiced between student and teacher, and in most Finnish schools,
classrooms contain multiple teachers to ensure no student is left behind.. Almost all American school
classrooms are managed by only one teacher, which can be ineffective compared to the advantage of
having two or

Does Better Living And Citizenship Drive Immigrants Help...
Question: Does better living and citizenship drives immigrants to obtain more qualifications than local
citizens? An analysis of the UK. Introduction A persistent trend in the growth rate of immigrants to the
UK has been observed since the 1950s and that caters for a diverse ethnic society (Bell 1997).
Simultaneously, we ve seen a sharp rise in those participating in any form of qualification/education
and this is most prominent for those obtaining higher education qualifications. (Dolton, Silles 2008)
However, in some cases there seems to be a drive to obtaining more qualifications than others and this
sometimes results in over qualification, a phenomena many have accounted for providing its
determinants, the extent of its existence (Battu, Seaman, Sloane, 1999) and how it affects the returns
for those in the labour market that fall into this category of over educated (Sicherman, 1991).
Although previous studies have lightly focused on how over education affects earnings, studies either
focus on the US labour market (Rumberger 1987) or when they do focus on the UK, its effect are
assessed only for ethnic minorities. (Lindley 2009). A focus on an aggregated scale of all races will
supplement the literature where I intend to test whether immigrants are likely to be more over
qualified than UK born citizens and then compare the effect on earnings for each of the two
observation groups. Furthermore, having obtained a result on over qualification, I will proceed to

  • 3. The World And Caution Of The Arab World As the Ottoman Empire s fall drew closer, the concept of Arab representation and its manifestation as both a valid state and successor rose as a strong candidate towards a new rule. However, the Arab world is faced with two distinctive parties that wish to establish their own set of rules of national identity. The first party belongs to the Pan Arab movement that wishes to unite all the Arab people from the farthest east to its west of the Arabic speaking world. Meanwhile, the second party involves advocates of separate national identities that are distinguishable between each nation instead of one solid nationalist vision. Both parties contain an argument as to what is the most beneficial towards the Middle Eastern and North African region. With Pan Arab leaders, such as the Arab Socialist Ba ath Party s Michel Aflaq and Salah al Din al Bitar, advocating a strong anti imperialist sentiment in the face of European involvement in the Arab world and caution of the Ottomans gruesome history repeating. Additionally, Pan Arab nationalism and socialism was advocated by prominent leader Gamal Abdel Nasser. On the other hand, prominent state nationalists that wanted their own independent countries to rise came forward with leaders such as Lebanese intellectuals like George Samné and Antoun Saadeh, who recognized the sovereignty of their own Syrian statehood and defied the concept of a more group inclusive ideal. Millennials were often offered many participation trophies growing up that a study showed 40% should be promoted every two years, regardless of performance (Stein). Studies on the millennials show that they hold symptoms of the narcissistic personality disorder nearly three times as high for people in their 20s as for the generation that is now 65 or older, according to the National Institutes of Health. They also have evidence that 58% of college students scored higher on a narcissism scale in 2009 than in 1982 (Stein). Jean Twenge compares decades of personality test results which repeatedly conclude that the younger generation are increasingly self obsessed, entitled, and unprepared for the realities of adult life. Dido has realized that her relationship with Aeneas is over, and that her compelling passion for him will bring her to an end, and she is still unable to change the course of events. When Dido learns about Aeneas s departure she is overcome by rage, and despair, which brings her to the decision that she will kill herself. Then Dido prays for death at last; (488). She has hoped that Aeneas would fall and die, untimely, let him like unburied on the sand. (662). At this time she lies down on the funeral pyre and stabs herself with Aeneas s sword. During the process of drafting a paper, one of the things I have in mind is my audience. In order to write a good paper, it is crucial to consider the audience so you can identify how you are going to write it. For example, if you are going to write letter to your brother, it will sound weird if you use formal language. Same goes if you are writing to the Obama; it will definitely sound weird if you greet him like, how is it going, bro? It is way too informal and you cannot do this if you are writing to your leader. What I am trying to say here is it is your audience that will determine the style of your writing. Before this ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

He answers Crito by indicating that if they look after and take care of themselves, then they would automatically be followed by good thing (Morgan 72). Crito also asks him how he would want to be buried. He answers stating that Crito should do whatever he wishes with his corpse (Grube and Cooper 55). According to Socrates, ones he dies his soul will be separated from his body and continue living on to eternity, and his corpse would no longer be him. There is not enough time to do an adequate amount of characterization, which is why many films fail to accurately portray a character. The Cohen Brother s film True Grit, an adaptation of the novel by Charles Portis, created a better portrayal of the character of Mattie Ross, the feisty, head strong, and tough young girl. Through costume and set design, as well as the narrative choices the directors chose to take, the resilient, no nonsense, bratty young girl was brought to life. In the book, Mattie Ross is a very feisty, head strong, and tough young girl. Mattie does not let her age get in the way of anything she sets off to do and is never afraid to give some lip when needed. These characteristics are shown in the novel in scenes like her first introduction with LaBoeuf. He threatens to hit her with his belt and she replies, Put a hand on me and you will answer for it...the good people of Arkansas do not go easy on men who abuse women and children (76) . She is a 14 year old girl standing up for herself against a grown man, which is something most adults can struggle with. This scene is an example that gives the readers a look into who Mattie is as a person, which the Cohen brothers did a very good job of capturing. In the Cohen Brother s version mise en scene was used so effectively that it was like the Mattie in the book was on screen. The costume ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Two cups of juice would likely take four beets, depending on the size. That s quite a lot for one glass! Because fiber is crucial to absorption, try putting beetroot into your smoothies. The importance of the Fourteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution is such that some have called it the amendment that completed the Constitution. When it was ratified on July 9th, 1868, the amendment became one of legislative cornerstones of the Reconstruction Era, a time in which the Radical Republicans, led by John A. Bingham and Thaddeus Stevens, promulgated a legislative program focused on providing racial equality before the law. Among the laws passed in the Reconstruction Era, the Fourteenth Amendment was one of the most controversial, with one Republican congressman, Representative A.J. The conquering North was hoping to, as was said by Abraham Lincoln in his Second Inaugural Address, bind up the nation s wounds, and obtain, a lasting peace, among ourselves, and with all nations. However, the South, while it had been forced to discontinue slavery, was not prepared to accept Blacks as equal citizens, either politically or socially. In late 1865, Southern states began creating the set of laws that became known as the Black Codes, severely restricting the rights of the newly freed African Americans living in the South. The degree to which the Black Codes limited freedom of African Americans would eventually become one of the major motivations for the passage of first the Civil Rights Act of 1866, and finally, in 1868, the Fourteenth Amendment. By March of 1866, eight states of the former Confederacy had adopted various laws limiting the freedoms of African Americans. In the Slaughterhouse Cases (1873), some of the first Supreme Court cases to deal with the Fourteenth Amendment, the opinion of Justice Samuel F. Miller provided a listing of the rights that had been abridged under the Black Codes: [African Americans] were in some states forbidden to appear in the towns in any other character than menial servants. Reformulation Of Learned Helplessness Learned helplessness occurs when a person is repeatedly exposed to an aversive stimuli and feels that no matter how much they try to escape; they are not successful. Therefore, they tend to cave in since a sense of being helpless has been developed to escape the situation. Early studies on the idea of learned helplessness occurred accidently since psychologists were initially studying avoidance learning in dogs. These dogs were subject to a few foot shocks and at first would attempt to escape the shock however, these dogs later on stop attempting to escape and would submissively accept the foot shocks. Current researchers are focused on what factors influence people to develop this sense of helplessness and also goes on their mind who undergoes this interpretation of the world. The reformulation of learned helplessness theory emphasizes the importance of the thoughts that lead a person to develop feelings of helplessness. The Role Of Eugenics In The Twentieth Century In the twentieth century, the eugenics movement assembled a powerful coalition of progressives, intellectuals, and professionals to advocate an agenda of eugenic legal reform. This agenda centered on the belief that many undesirable traits are hereditary and that the government should be permitted to remove those traits from the racial stock. Those who were mentally disabled or ill, or belonged to socially disadvantaged groups were the main targets for the movement. C.W. Saleeby once stated The feeble minded, and the alcoholic, and the insane, and those afflicted with venereal disease, must be so guarded and treated in the future that they shall not become parents at all. The Protective Tariff of 1816 caused disagreements between these two sections of the United States, for the Tariff unfairly benefitted the manufacturers of the North East. Some civilizations even used solar architecture for purposes other than for heat. The Egyptian pyramids were able to oriented to track the position of the sun. There were many temples that had shafts that could be opened on certain days like the solstice to allow light beams down to an altar . This is very impressive considering that the exact angles of the sun s rays had to be calculated and then the shafts had to be accurately constructed in order to perform as designed. Why is violence becoming and everyday event in our society? When you flip on the television and tune into the news, the highlight of every show is somehow directly related or connected to violence. We see it every evening and perhaps say Oh my gosh and then forget all about it two minutes later. Or perhaps we don t even make any comments at all, just a simple grunt or Oh, how terrible . They need to learn to talk out and solve any disagreements or problems through other means than violence. They must not know violence as an answer, as if violence was never even an option to consider in solving a problem. I recently became aware of the problem of violence in children when I started observing my child at play at my apartment complex. I had watched my daughter play with many children and never really noticed nothing violent nor aggressive about her. However as she gets older and more interested in television she is becoming, much more aggressive especially as she plays outside with her friends. She would punch and copy the moves of the cartoon shows she watched even to the point of copying their war cries and sayings. The media claims that they have no influence on children, that could not be further from the truth. Children are the easiest to manipulate and take advantage of because they are innocent and because they are innocent they are also ignorant. The main problem was the television shows that she was watching. That is very obvious. The problem was not just television itself but the combination of television and child. Children are very susceptible and easily persuaded as we all know. In the early 1960 s, Albert Bandura of Stanford was the first to present the theory that children not only learned from their parents through imitation but also through ... • 41. Today s Juvenile Court System Essay Today s juvenile court system handles most cases involving those under the age of 18 year old. This was not always the case and the ideal of a separate court system for adults and children is only about 100 years old. When looking at the differences that set juvenile courts apart, it is important to study the history and see how it developed over time. The movement to separate children from adults in the court system can be traced back to English common law, just like most of America s criminal justice system. English lawyer William Blackstone had a significant influence on the separation of Juvenile and adult courts. Blackstone s Commentaries on the Laws of England, that was first published in the late 1760 s, was widely read and well regarded by the founders of America (History of Juvenile Justice). In Blackstone s book, he identified individuals who were considered incapable of committing crimes (History of Juvenile Justice). Two requirement needed to be met in order for someone to commit a crime. First, the individual had to have a vicious will , or the intent to commit a crime (History of Juvenile Justice). Second, the individual had to commit the crime. Blackstone then when on to state that one group of people who were unable to commit a crime were called infants (History of Juvenile Justice). These people where not literality infant or babies, but people too young to understand their actions, and therefore lacked the vicious will needed to commit a crime. At ... • 42. Analytics In Basketball There is a field in the sport of basketball that is growing at a rapid pace. That field is called analytics. Nearly every team in the NBA now has an analytics department. However, it is important to fully understand analytics before applying that knowledge to the sport of basketball. Analytics is the discovery and communication of meaningful patterns in data (Stolbunov 1). Analytics being used in sports is simply called sports analytics. Even though analytics has its flaws, it has had a major impact on team building in basketball using statistics like player efficiency rating and effective field goal percentage. There are many important statistics used in analytics, but a couple are used to very great effect. One of the most important statistics ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... In baseball, the book Moneyball revolutionized the way that the whole sport looked at analytics. Basketball has a comparable situation. The book Basketball on Paper dives into the numbers behind the sport (Haefner 10). In this book, author Dean Oliver states there are four main statistics to tell which team will win, and also states of how much importance these statistics are. He says that a team s shooting is forty percent of winning, turnovers are twenty five percent, rebounding is twenty percent, and and free throws are fifteen percent (Haefner 11). One of the fathers of analytics in basketball claims that shooting is far and away the most important statistic in the game. However, in order to know how a team is performing in this category, the team must be compared against other teams. Doing this is extremely easy. If comparing two teams playing each other, the opposing team s effective field goal percentage is simply subtracted from the team being observed (Haefner 15). A golden example of the utility of effective field goal percentage is the Golden State Warriors. This team has broken records for three pointers made, and recently won seventy three games in a single season. The Warriors have an advantage on almost every other team in the NBA because of the vast amount of three pointers that they take (Dizikes 2). The ease with which effective field goal percentage can be used and its direct correlation to which team wins the game makes it possibly the most useful statistic in the game of basketball. However, while shooting does have a direct correlation for team performance, it does not always have a major impact on how a single player ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 43. Essay On The American Education System America, one of the world s super powers and most prosperous nations, is known for its dominantly huge military, prominent cultural and political influences. Yet, America still ranks only 10th in education worldwide. Why is this? The education system of the US has stayed relatively the same for almost 150 years, with no reform. Outdated methods of teaching are still in practice. Though many may feel that the American education system is a model of success, compared to the educational system of Finland, the American education system is in dire need of change. For one, as stated before, America still uses the same methods of education today as nearly two centuries ago. In this span of time, America has come far in many different ways, such as our military, economy, and government. Education shouldn t be left behind, as it s the most important for future generations so ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Becoming a teacher in Finland is much more difficult and revered than becoming a teacher in America, as teaching in Finland is considered a very important career. Becoming a teacher is competitive, and teachers are required a master s degree and pedagogical training. Teachers must also complete academic studies in their field to maintain their career, while some American teachers teach subjects that they re unfamiliar about. This is an obvious mistake that could be corrected by proper training of teachers, and higher requirements needed for teaching. The last main difference is that in American schools students are expected to learn at the same pace as every other student. In Finland, one on one training is often practiced between student and teacher, and in most Finnish schools, classrooms contain multiple teachers to ensure no student is left behind.. Almost all American school classrooms are managed by only one teacher, which can be ineffective compared to the advantage of having two or ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 44. Does Better Living And Citizenship Drive Immigrants Help... Question: Does better living and citizenship drives immigrants to obtain more qualifications than local citizens? An analysis of the UK. Introduction A persistent trend in the growth rate of immigrants to the UK has been observed since the 1950s and that caters for a diverse ethnic society (Bell 1997). Simultaneously, we ve seen a sharp rise in those participating in any form of qualification/education and this is most prominent for those obtaining higher education qualifications. (Dolton, Silles 2008) However, in some cases there seems to be a drive to obtaining more qualifications than others and this sometimes results in over qualification, a phenomena many have accounted for providing its determinants, the extent of its existence (Battu, Seaman, Sloane, 1999) and how it affects the returns for those in the labour market that fall into this category of over educated (Sicherman, 1991). Although previous studies have lightly focused on how over education affects earnings, studies either focus on the US labour market (Rumberger 1987) or when they do focus on the UK, its effect are assessed only for ethnic minorities. (Lindley 2009). A focus on an aggregated scale of all races will supplement the literature where I intend to test whether immigrants are likely to be more over qualified than UK born citizens and then compare the effect on earnings for each of the two observation groups. Furthermore, having obtained a result on over qualification, I will proceed to ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
