The Case Roe V. Wade Essay
Since the 1960s, the fight to receive accessible and affordable abortions has been a largely controversial issue in the United States. The case Roe v. Wade was
the climax of that fight, for the Court held that... only a pregnant woman and her doctor have the legal right to make the decision about an abortion ( History of
Abortion ). Although Roe v. Wade ultimately made abortions legal in the States, there are still setbacks for affordable and accessible abortions today, and many
of these conflicts may be directly traced to state by state determination of abortion laws.
In today s society, the rate of teen pregnancy is rapidly decreasing. This may be attributed to decrease in costs of contraception, costs and availability for
abortion, and better sex education over time. In 2014, a total of 249,078 babies were born to women aged 15 19 years, for a birth rate of 24.2 per 1,000 women
in this age group. This is another historic low for U.S. teens and a drop of 9% from 2013. Birth rates fell 11% for women aged 15 17 years and 7% for women
aged 18 19 years ( About Teen Pregnancy ). Abortion is a highly debated topic today, for many wonder if the woman should have the right to choose. Those
who choose to get an abortion are practically putting themselves on trial in today s society. To understand why this is so, one must look at both sides of the
abortion issue, and compare the facts. Abortion is an extremely controversial issue for many, and polarized, or split, into pro life

The Supply And Demand Market Essay
The supply and demand market is a way for companies to control cost and work with their suppliers to create a supply line that provides the materials for their
products; to produce their products at a cost that will allow them to price and sell it to consumers and make a profit. In the supply and demand market Honda
started out using the fixed factory model that has allowed Honda to go from importing motorbikes to the United States to making automobiles in the United
States as well as some of their other products. Hondas supply line started in Japan and has expanded all over the world in almost every country in the world by
making the products they sell in their different factories. Honda motor company operates 31 different facilities in the United States alone to manufacture their
products using domestic and globally sourced parts. (world.honda.com/news/2015) With Honda expanding their supply chain in different countries they have
been able to cut down on the importing and exporting of their products made by the Honda Motor Company. With Honda being started in 1964 they have
transitioned from not only making motorbikes to making automobiles, all terrain vehicles, jets, lawn equipment, motor sports, and power equipment and with
the increase of products their supply chain has changed. Honda started out in Japan with one factory making motorbikes then it progressed into a company that
made automobiles in the same factory in the supply and demand market Honda has gone from

Song Of Napalm Essay
Song of Napalm and my life experiences
It often happens that literature leaves us pondering over things that happen in our life. It
won t be wrong to say that some works leave us intrigued and even intimidated. It varies
from person to person, the effect that literary works have on the mind. When I talk about
myself, few literary works, especially a few poems, have always left me thinking about the
ways of life. Here, I would like to mention that Bruce Weigl s , song of Napalm , has always
been one of my much admired poem and the one poem that I have been able to relate to

Today, I am a 10th grader and work part time in Mc Donald s to earn my living and get a
pocket money to survive because I cannot be depending on my parents for my finances.
Working in Mc Donald taught me how to survive the harsh realities and face the truth. I
often wander back and think about the warm and cosy time I spent with my family back in
Ethiopia. However, my job is a hard hitting reminder of my life s reality.
In the poem, the narrator goes through a huge wave of emotions and memories. He has
used strong words like Scarlett. The word is often used to depict the colour of fresh blood.
However, in the poem it connotes the bloody memories of the poet just like I experience in
flashes of memories running to my brain. Also, my introvert nature makes me never express
my mind just like this soldier who cannot say out things loud but just battles with his
thoughts by taking support of the good things in life, like his wife.
All in all, the poem continues to motivate and inspire me and I as a student can highly relate
to it. This poem is not just about war for me, but also life in general. It is a teacher and

Unemployment Participation Rate
Participation rates in the comprehensive measure of the level of active section of the economic labor force that are looking for employment or are employed.
The index of measure indicates the average variance between the available job slots in the country versus the available labor force to fit the slots (Krueger,
2017). Participate rates represents a measure of the country s labor force available and productivity in employment sector. The primary aim of participation
rate is to identify the level of unemployment in the country by understanding the overall number of actively searching potential employees versus the available
slots. The difference in this two variance indicates the unemployment levels in a country (Krueger, 2017). ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The key trends exhibited by the country s participation rates pf the workforce depicts the following (Krueger, 2017): a changing pattern that indicates the
female participation rates going up while the male participation rate significantly dropping for the past 3 decades, the increasing changes in the age bracket of
the workforce where the workforce is increasing becoming the matured population instead of the young people and the positive landmark in producing a better
educated, skilled and diversified workforce. Since time immemorial, the greatest share of s country s workforce has always been men. The changing trends for
the past decades indicates a realignment of this notion and increasing indicating the female population upping employment opportunities on a greater scale
than men ( Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, 2017). The past few decades has resulted to myriad of formal sector realignment where women are becoming
more competitive career wise, go getters in skill orientation and better approach to employment responsibilities and entrepreneurial skills (Krueger, 2017). A
number of cofactors has significantly affected his situation. The key factors include: the wake of civilization, human rights, equality and female championship

National Business Forms And Printing Essay
Statement of Facts:
National Business Forms Printing, INC. located in Navasota, Texas; is a printing commercial business that sells signs, stickers, banners, and other printing
goods. NBFP s main services are offered through two online websites. National Business Forms Printing sold to affiliated and nonaffiliated customers, using
several logos of known car dealerships. One of those dealerships was Ford Motor Company (Ford). Ford was not complied with NBFP doing business with its
logo, and as a result sent NBFP a cease and desist letter. In such letter, Ford demanded NBFP to pay $5000 for damages and to stop commercializing with the
Fords Logo. Instead of abiding to Ford s demand, NBFP decided to sue Ford in a Texas State Court looking for a declaration . Ford, on the other hand,
countersued NBFP in the U.S. District Court of Southern District of Texas. Ford alleged that NBFP committed trademark infringement, counterfeit of Ford s
product (logo), and false designation . The U.S District Court of Texas separated Ford s claims into four categories. First, NBFP s advertising material for Ford
s associated dealers. Second, advertising material for independent dealers; third, a custom logo made by NBFP using an oval similar that stated NO BIG 3

Compare And Contrast The Anglo Saxon Period And Present Day
Analyzing Yesterday s and Today s
The Anglo Saxon Period and Present Day
Travelling back in time to the period that is traditionally known as the dark ages; the time of war and battles against the Vikings which was new invaders back
then; the Anglo Saxon period has many different aspects that are somehow unique to us. Such as how they have a different language the Old English or how
they greatly value the values of heroism, generosity and blood vengeance which cannot be almost seen in the present time. There are many aspects that they
have before, but we will not focus on that. Instead, we will closely analyze the fact that by comparing it to the present day, we can observe tremendous
differences like how the power of woman was elevated somehow today, the differences in our language, the Modern English to their language, Old English,
how the leader or the king should act before and even the dissimilarity in the social hierarchy. But is the change in these aspects towards positivity? Or is it
towards negativity? Are we really improving as they say? ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In this current society, the levels of both male and female genders are somehow not even. Many women are still fighting for the rights that they should have
had but was chained to by society and their belief that Men are superior to women . Another thing is how the social hierarchy divides us. Instead of having a
united community, we are divided into the lower, middle and higher class. In my opinion, I would like a nation that has a society that is equal, no elevated
positions in terms of money and possession or in other terms a society where no one fights for money. But in the past periods specifically the Anglo Saxon
period, women had it worst and even the social hierarchy before had been deeply planted into their civilization that no one can say no

Nascar History
NASCAR is one of the most rapidly growing sports in the world. There are people who think that NASCAR is just a bunch of hicks going around in circles,
but it takes skill to drive at two hundred miles per hour. I am going to talk about the history of NASCAR, early drivers of NASCAR, the three NASCAR
divisions, the rules, and the new technology. Two of NASCAR s oldest races are the ones that are at Charlotte, North Carolina and Daytona international
Speedways. Charlotte Motor Speedway was designed and built in 1959 by Bruton Smith. Curtis Turner, stock car s earliest driving star, was Smith s business
partner. Turner became one of the first drivers on the NASCAR ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Sprint Cup Series cars are unique in automobile racing. The engines are powerful enough to reach speeds of over 200 mph (320 km/h), but heavy weight
coupled with a (relatively) simple aerodynamic package makes for poor handling. Their bodies and chassis are strictly regulated to ensure parity or equality,
and electronics are generally Spartan in nature. The idea for the Truck Series dates back to 1993. A group of off road racers (Dick Landfield, Jimmy Smith, Jim
Venable, and Frank Scoop Vessels) wanted a bigger audience for truck racing. They made a prototype for a NASCAR style pickup truck. These were first
shown off during the 1994 Daytona 500, and four demonstration races were held during the season. The first event at Mesa Marin Raceway had six trucks. The
other three events were held at Portland Speedway, Saugus Speedway, and Tucson Raceway Park. Tucson Raceway Park held four events that winter, which
were nationally televised during the Winter Heat Series coverage. These trucks proved to be extremely popular, and it led to NASCAR creating the series,
originally known as the Super Truck Series in 1995.
The rules of NASACAR changed a lot in the years since NASCAR started. The rules kept changing due to advancement in technology, which meant different
rules for safety. Some of the rules today are that NASCAR allows bump drafting (helps drivers conserve gas) on restrictor plate tracks, no speeding on
entrance or exit of pit

Harley Quinn
Harley Quinn (Arleen Sorkin) was originally created as a character in FOX s Batman: The Animated Series to be a humorous sidekick for the Joker. In Harley
s origin story, she began as a psychologist at Arkham Asylum who was assigned to treat the Joker. Eventually, Harley became infatuated with her client and
willingly gave up her career in order to be the Joker s partner in crime. As the animated series and future comics progressed, Harley was reduced to an
extremely sexualized female villain for fans to ogle at and a woman who felt a complete loss of identity whenever the Joker was absent. Despite the horrible
abuse that the Joker inflicts on Harley in their relationship, Harley remains submissive and loyal to him. The past animated character ... Show more content on

When Harley was sent on her mission with the squad, she never made any mention of the Joker. Instead, she focused on making her time in her assigned
mission enjoyable for herself by making new friends within the squad and proudly fighting anyone who threatened her. However, she was ecstatic when the
Joker showed up to take her home with him in an elaborate escape plan. At the end of the film, Harley is sent back to prison after she previously failed to
escape. She is living happily on her own for a second time with request items to make prison life more tolerable as a reward for her success in her assigned
mission. Again in the film, the Joker strips Harley of her independent life and places her back into the role of a damsel in distress. Once again, Harley is
ecstatic when she is rescued even though she had shown in previous scenes of the film that she was fully capable of being an independent woman. The film
shows Harley as a woman who is still able to succeed and is able to manage her own life in the absence of her significant other; this characteristic supports the
progressive notion that women possess the strength of achieving success on their own. However, this characteristic loses its value when Harley is constantly

The Significance of Women in the Play Oedipus Essay
When you say Man, said Oedipus, you include women too. Everyone knows that. She said, That s what you think. These lines, from the ending of Muriel
Rukheyser s poem On Oedipus the King, Myth, comment on the significance of women both in the play and in society. Though the character of Oedipus
suggests that women are equal, the issue of the true role of women is brought up in the poem, and is raised in Sophocles play.
The female who plays the largest role in Sophocles play is Oedipus wife and mother, Iokaste. From the beginning, one can assume that she has little say in the
events of her life. As queen of Thebes, she had little power over the rulings of the kingdom. Furthermore, once news of her husband s death came ... Show

Women have little responsibility in the workings of society and are basically seen as child bearers. For example, anytime Iokaste is mentioned, the fact that she
is the bearer of children seems to always follow. In the first scene, Oedipus describes how indebted he is to Laios. Now I, having the power that he held before
me, having his bed, begetting children there, upon his wife, as he would have, had he lived their son would have been my children s brother, if Laios had had
luck in fatherhood! (727) Iokaste is not presented as an actual being; instead, she is described as Laios property that had come into Oedipus possessionalong
with the throne, land, and power. A similar instance occurs in the third scene when Choragos says, It is this very place, stranger; he is inside. This is his wife
and mother of his children. Instead of presenting Iokaste as the queen of Thebes, Choragos introduces her as belonging to Oedipus and as the bearer of
Oedipus offspring.
The insignificance and expectations of women in society are further presented in the Exodus. In the Exodus, Oedipus says, As for my sons, you need not care
for them. They are men, they will find some way to live. But my poor daughters, who have shared my table, who never before have been parted from their
father take care of them, Kreon; do this for me. (760) Oedipus also says,? Then, whom can you ever marry? There are no bridegrooms for you, and your lives
must wither

Milton Freidman s Position In The Gospel Of Wealth
It is a general consensus that from an economic perspective that businesses are expected to benefit shareholders and contribute to society through value
maximization. Milton Freidman, however, takes this a step further by asserting that this is the basis of moral behavior for businesses and that they act
immorally when they diminish profit by trying to assume other social responsibilities instead of letting greater population do that on their own. Although this
philosophy would ideally maximize both profit and the amount of money that people could contribute to the social cause of their choice, it does not work as
efficiently in a society where there a large portion of society is not in a place to focus on social issues. When this situation is viewed from the perspective of
Maslow s hierarchy of needs, it is evident that until substantial gains are made in the quality of life in the general population, Freidman s position will not
result in social responsibility. Andrew Carnegie unknowingly takes the hierarchy of needs into account when he counters Freidman s position in the Gospel of
Wealth. In his work, Carnegie argues that the proper way to maximize the efficiency of social causes is for elite businessmen make the choices that many

Environmental and sustainability considerations for very large systems
As mentioned above, the demand for faster and smaller devices with higher performance is increasing. However with increasing devices, there is increase in
data generated. Large companies like google, amazon, Microsoft and many others generate huge amounts of data which is stored in large storage centres called
Data centres. It is estimated that by 2020, around 35 zettabytes of data will be generated every year [6]. To store and manage such large data, huge data centres
are required. However there are many challenges faced while operation of these datacentres.
One of the challenges faced by the data centres is land occupied by these data centres. Due to increasing amounts of data, larger and more number of data
centres are being built. For example, one of the largest data centre by digital realty occupies 1.1 million ft2 of land and require 53 generators [6]. It is estimated
that by 2017 there will be around 8.6 million data centres around the world and although the numbers might decrease after 2017, the space occupied will
increase. Data centre swill occupy around 1.94 billion ft2 by 2018 [7].
Second and the most important challenge faced by the companies are the amount of energy required to manage data centres. All the data centres around the
world use around 30 billion watts of energy on average, which is equal to output by 30 nuclear power plants [6]. By 2020 it is expected that, US datacentres

Pennsylvania called Gettysburg. This would later be the same soil in which 40,000 Americans lay wounded or dead. Little did they know this would be the
bloodiest battle in American history. After that, they commenced in an intense battle. They fought in many places such as Cemetery Hill, Culp s Hill, Little

The First World War Was A Time Of Huge Change For Technology
The first world war was a time of huge change for technologies and many innovations were made. The first of the three I will write about is the change of
machine guns and how useful and significant they were in the first world war.
On the one hand, machine guns could be said to be significant because of the extra fire power they provided on a battlefield. It has been estimated that a
machine gun creates the equivalent to anywhere between 60 to 100 rifles, depending on the source, in from one weapon. This gave an army defending a
position a huge advantage over the attacking side and almost certainly prolonged the stalemate as breaking enemy lines became so difficult as reaching the
enemy trench was a near impossible thing to do with the machine gun firing at the attacking men. It has been estimated that around 20% of the casualties of
world war 1 were caused by the machine gun. and This figure is very high considering all the possible causes of death in the battlefields of WW1. What also
made the machine gun of the first world war significant was how it affected the future. These early models were the basis of a weapon used in all places of the
world ever since these first guns were used in the before and mainly during the first world war. The first world war was the period that caused the potential of
the machine gun to be recognised. Germany saw the machine gun for the potential it held before the war and had far more of them. This proved to be a big

Cuba Juice Essay
Introduction
Juicing is a great way to integrate fruits and vegetables into your diet, especially if you do not like to eat whole fruits and vegetables. It can help you meet the
daily recommendations for these foods as well as allow you to consume a wide variety of fruits and vegetables in a tasty way. Juicing is usually done with a
machine which turns raw fruits and vegetables into liquid and pulp. The machine chops the fruits and vegetables into tiny pieces and spins them, separating the
juice from the pulp.
History
Even before juicers were invented fruits were mashed. Text from the Dead Sea Scrolls, A pounded mash of pomegranate and fig resulting in profound strength

Professional Juicing
The final juicer we reviewed was targeted toward the experienced consumer. Rather than a high speed centrifugal juicer, our last review consisted of a
masticating juicer. It differs than that of the centrifugal juicer by using a single auger to compact and squeeze the fruit s juice along a static screen at a slow

According to his model, Hofstede classed KSA on a scale of about 80 on the power distance index (Mead and Andrews, 2009, p.37). Saudi Arabia can also be
assumed to be a county with a high uncertainty avoidance index. Conflict and competition is usually avoided (Mead and Andrews, 2009). The slow paced
introduction of westernization into the culture reveals how the society is resistant to change, the thought of which places undue anxiety and stress on the
members of its community. The attachment to family ties is a manifestation of its collectivistic approach in the culture of the Saudis. The social identity is
derived from a group membership he/she shares. Loyalty to one s family members supersedes that of the individual; family involvement in personal life is
usually not seen as being invasive or interfering (Anon, 2008). Hofstede scores the Saudis as having about 40 on the individualistic dimension (Mead and

the Saudis emphasizes hierarchy and autocracy, their mode of conflict resolution is compromise. The Saudi Arabians believe in relationship building and on

How Does Jackson Use Symbols In The Lottery
Jackson employs the use of symbolism in many of her characters surnames throughout The Lottery to promote her theme. Of these many symbols, and
arguably the most deeply hidden and relevant, is the symbolism of the Martin characters. The youngest Martin, Bobby, is a leader among the village youth, as
witnessed by the other boys following his example (Jackson). Compared to the other children, the narrator places great emphasis upon Bobby Martin by
mentioning the character four times, indicating that the Jackson desires to draw her reader s attention towards the boy for analysis. The surname Martin is
Latin for Martinus, a derivative of Mars, the Roman god of fertility and war (Hanks). According to Roman mythology, Mars, the son of Jupiter and Juno, was a

The Autobiography of Jeffery Culverson Jr
The autobiography of Jeffery Culverson Jr
Ever since I was a little boy, I had dreams of becoming someone great in life. I always imagined myself doing wonderous things and traveling the world. I was
born Jeffery Lawrence Culverson Jr on July 29th, 1980 to Tammy Collins and Jeffery Culverson in Las Vegas, Nevada. All though I had big aspirations as a
little boy, I learned quickly in life that what you want is not always what you get. My parents had three children; two girls and myself, but they were never
together while I was growing up. I was taught the violin and other musical instruments at an early age, but because my mother moved around a lot I went to
many schools, and eventually lost touch with my musical side. I never ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
My first experience in Florida was pretty bad. I was called racist words and treated badly because of my color of skin. I began to hate myself and others. I
almost lost my wife because how my anger took over my life. I went back to Nevada to clear my head and my wife stayed behind in Florida, while there, I
realized that I was a couple credits from receiving my high school diploma and was really upset, because I had always thought I graduated. My wife thought I
should stay and finish my credits to get my diploma and she moved back with me while I struggled with the school work. I hadnt been in school for so long
and it seemed so much harder facing the curriculum at my age then. I struggled and failed, but I kept getting back up and trying again and I did pass and
received my high school diploma. This was very important to me because I didnt want to be just another bum on the street that didnt do anything with my life.
I had big dreams and all though I had left them on the back burner for a while, they were still there inside me, just waiting for a chance to make them happen.
After receiving my diploma, my wife and I decided to try a different area of Florida and we ended up in Daytona Beach. All though there was still racism
around us, I realized I couldn t control other people s ideals and decided to focus on my own. My wife and I have always wanted to own our own restaurant

Nova Centauri s Theory Of Lithium
When a massive star, outclassing our own sun by fiat, grows old enough that it s run out of fuel, it sometimes explodes in a violent reaction releasing the
elements necessary for new stars, new planets and systems into the depths of space in a matter of minutes. This process is believed to resemble the big bang
itself, and astronomers have just discovered the presence of a chemical called lithium in a nova, and this chemical s presence is helping us understand the
concentration of lithium in stellar phenomena. The nova was observed from two telescopes run by the European Southern Observatory resting on the rolling
mountains of Chile, and quickly pinpointed and identified as Nova Centauri, a new member to the nova club, having exploded in 2013. Nova Centauri is the
brightest nova as of yet in the 21st century. This represents the first in what will be several major ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
However, astronomers have for a good deal of time wondered if the question of younger stars higher lithium content could be caused by older stars lithium
content being expelled at wild speeds, seeding stellar nurseries with lithium, giving baby stars the material before they are fully formed. But up until now, there
has been no evidence whatsoever of lithium in novae, super or nominal. This change took the form of lithium being ejected from the exploding Nova Centauri
at 1.24 million miles (2 million kilometers) per hour. If the nova s peculiar qualities are extrapolated to the billions of other novae whom have seen the face of
death throughout the history of our Milky Way, we may finally be able to explain the presence of lithium in the Milky Way. If we imagine the history of the
chemical evolution of the Milky Way as a big jigsaw, then lithium from novae was one of the most important and puzzling missing pieces, commented
Massimo Della Valle, who co authored the

Definitional issues: entrepreneurship, micro enterprise and rurality Numerous definition of entrepreneurship can also be found in the literature. Hisrich and
Peters (1998) define entrepreneurship as the process of creating something new with value by devoting the necessary time effort assuming the accompanying
financial, physic and social risks and receiving the resulting rewards of monetary and personal satisfaction and independence while Zacharis et al (2000) define
entrepreneurship as any attempt to create a new business enterprise or to expand existing business by an individual, ateam individuals or an established
business . Micro enterprises are typically defined as very small, informally run businesses, involved in activities other than crop production. In the United
States, Canada and Britain, small scale business is defined according to the number of paid employees and total annual turnover. In Britain for example,
businesses with an annual sales of £2 million or less and have less than 200 paid employees will be classified as small scale business. In Malaysia, small
enterprise covers all enterprises employing between 5 49 workers; medium scale enterprise employs between 50 199 workers and large enterprise has more

Job Redesign And Enrichment Proposal Analysis
Job Redesign and Enrichment Proposal Analysis in HIS Department Answering the following questions: 1. How are principles of goal setting applied? Goals
need to reflect new changes, whether small or big, fast or slow, that impact health care and how it is conducted. In the HIS department, a shift from paper to
electronic documentation has impacted greatly. According to Locke, setting specific challenging goals improves productivity. Having clear measurements of
performance, knowing a goal is achievable, realistic and timely are also important elements to incorporate. Goal setting also need to align with overall mission.
If human resources are considered valuable, goals for retention and turnover can be set to focus and direct strategies to improve these areas. Burnout is high in
the health care field. Setting goals to help employees decrease stress levels, offering support and help can facilitate achieving these goals. Productivity goals
can also be set so that there are targets to reach for that challenges the staff, and provide a sense of accomplishment when the goals are attained. Patient
satisfaction goals, reflected in emphasis for decreasing response times as a metric, can reveal how well the department is doing in reaching this goal. Job
satisfaction goals can also be utilized, implementing ways to improve how the department is operating, empowering the staff in their performance of work that
aligns with company mission, can all contribute to goal attainment. Finding

What if you lived in a village that every year has a lottery where someone wins by getting stoned to death. Or what if you were alive during the same time as
Hitler and The Nazis and someone would not stand up for anything and then when it s their turn you don t stand up for them. These two stories The Lottery by
Shirley Jackson and First they came By Martin Niemoller, Can be similar in the theme but they are presented differently. Like how they are the same by
showing that following, the crowd can lead to disastrous consequences, but show how they are also very different. For example, The Lottery is everyone in the
village join together on June 27th to have the lottery. Where they find out who wins the game. Everyone is Chatting to everyone and when it begins you could

The Airport Security Of Aviation
Charlotte s International Airport is currently ranked as the fifth busiest airport in the USA
in terms of the takeoffs as well as landings. The airport improved in ranking by one spot in both
international and national rankings recording with an average of 544,944 takeoffs and landings in
2015. Charlotte airport witnessed approximately 44.9 million travellers in the year 2015, a record
of an increase by 1 percent. Most passengers using airplane tend to use the airport to switch from
one plane to another with approximately around 80 percent of the airport s passengers
connecting and reconnecting with friends and families.
The current rise in the market demand for aviation services around the world demands
analysis of airport demand among passengers regarding the current capacity of the airports.
Therefore, it is through proper planning of future and current airport amenities that the airports
will provide adequate strengths to support the growing demand for the services of aviation
(Paylor, 2015). The future of aviation is, therefore, oblique considering the evolution of
upcoming airport facilities and infrastructure, which are factors, deliberated when defining
airport s facility requirements.
The demand capacity breakdown majorly focuses on airside and landside facilities such
as the runways apron space, taxiway, utilities as well as terminal buildings. Furthermore, demand
on airspace especially those facilities related to the capacity and

Analysis Of She Stoops To Conquer
She Stoops to Conquer by Oliver Goldsmith is a play written in 1771 that premiered in London in 1773. Some theatrical conventions have remained the same,
while others have changed. Consequently, Stolen Shakespeare Guild performance of She Stoops to Conquer strays from the original production.
One similarity in the plays is the use of female actors. This play first premiered in London in 1773. During this time women actually played female roles
unless it was a role such as a witch or a comic old women. Women even got the chance to play male roles especially if the character was a female pretending to
be a male (britches parts) , or if the character was a feminine male. Women being on stage was such a big deal that some productions would advertise having
all the parts played by women.
In the version, I saw of She stoops to Conquer women were playing the women roles. As a matter of fact, the story revolved around the lives of two women
Ms. Hardcastle and Constance Neville and these actresses did a wonderful job portraying these characters. Women playing these roles designed for women
made the play more effective because it added to it s believability. Women bring a certain softness to stage that I don t think men can offer, and that softness
that was brought on stage by these actresses added a little more to the story. This is one convention that I m glad we ve stuck with.
One difference in the two performances is the way in which the actor system worked. During the 1660 1800

Holding True to Convictions in a World of Differences Essays
INTRODUCTION We live in a world full of people who hold different beliefs and convictions. Many of them may even be different from our own. For
example John Haught, in his book God and the New Atheism shares his belief that, Science alone can tell us what religion is really all about, and it can provide
better answers than theology to every important question people ask (x). Berger and Zijderveld, on the other hand, argue in In Praise of Doubt that, Whether
God does or does not exist in cosmic reality is another question. And this question cannot be answered by the empirical sciences: God cannot be the object of
an experiment (1).
Even among religious scholars, ideologies differ. In the following pages I will employ both Haught and ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
This circumvention is comparable to creationists rejecting evolution without ever having taken a course in biology (29). Haught believes that the new atheist s
theological literacy is closely related to that of religious fundamentalists.
The new atheists scarcely notice the irony in their intolerance of religious tolerance he says, On the one hand they bring up past inquisitions as evidence of the
evils of religion, but on the other they now excoriate theological moderates who espouse the new spirit of tolerance. Moreover, they seem not to notice that the
very same liberal tolerance in modern Western history that influenced the Catholic Church to change its stand on religious freedom provides the cultural space
and freedom of expression by which the new atheists themselves are permitted to vent their own literalist ideas (Haught 37, 38). Here, Haught points out the
intolerance of the new atheists and one can easily see that he does not approve.
In the book In Praise of Doubt, Berger and Zijderveld argue that it is possible for individuals to hold moral certainty about societal values without succumbing
to the extremes of either 1) the new atheists fundamentalism (complete lack of certainty) or 2) relativism (absolute certainty). One of their main points
throughout the majority of this book is the idea that modernity leads to plurality. They explain, Modernization

English As The Official Language
The debate on whether the United States should adopt English as the official language is a complex matter that has stirred controversy among political figures
and American citizens. Though the United States does not have an official language, bills are constantly being introduced to the U.S Congress Houses to
establish English as America s official language. However, Congress has yet to come to a consensus which elucidates the complicated nature of the single
language policy debate. Opposers of the English Language Unity Act argue that it is unconstitutional because it violates the first amendment. According to
these opposers, constituting English as the official language of the country will create difficulty in the lives of millions of ... Show more content on

Choosing to have one official language ignores the historical diversity of the United States and ultimately contradicts the values of the country. This is because,
it is oppressive against the majority of immigrants living in the U.S. We are a country filled with various languages and cultures and so we cannot build a wall
and expect people to comply. Our ancestors migrated to the U.S to obtain the freedom that others have. The freedom that enables us to keep hold of our rights,
religion, and nonetheless our language.
Throughout history, single language policies were enforced within societies to control minorities. The U.S federal government often required its diverse ethnic
groups to assimilate to U.S anglos culture. We have seen it occur countless times with various groups including the Germans, Chinese, and Japanese. One of
the more severe cases of assimilation is of the Native Americans. During the 19th century, the U.S strived to eradicate the lifestyle of Native Americans by
having it resemble American culture as closely as possible. One of the ways in which this was accomplished was by founding Indian Boarding Schools .
Native American children were placed in these boarding schools where they were stripped of everything they had previously known. In order to have students
conform to an American way of life, they were not allowed to practice their native religions, or speak their tribal languages.

  • 2. The Case Roe V. Wade Essay Since the 1960s, the fight to receive accessible and affordable abortions has been a largely controversial issue in the United States. The case Roe v. Wade was the climax of that fight, for the Court held that... only a pregnant woman and her doctor have the legal right to make the decision about an abortion ( History of Abortion ). Although Roe v. Wade ultimately made abortions legal in the States, there are still setbacks for affordable and accessible abortions today, and many of these conflicts may be directly traced to state by state determination of abortion laws. In today s society, the rate of teen pregnancy is rapidly decreasing. This may be attributed to decrease in costs of contraception, costs and availability for abortion, and better sex education over time. In 2014, a total of 249,078 babies were born to women aged 15 19 years, for a birth rate of 24.2 per 1,000 women in this age group. This is another historic low for U.S. teens and a drop of 9% from 2013. Birth rates fell 11% for women aged 15 17 years and 7% for women aged 18 19 years ( About Teen Pregnancy ). Abortion is a highly debated topic today, for many wonder if the woman should have the right to choose. Those who choose to get an abortion are practically putting themselves on trial in today s society. To understand why this is so, one must look at both sides of the abortion issue, and compare the facts. Abortion is an extremely controversial issue for many, and polarized, or split, into pro life ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The Supply And Demand Market Essay The supply and demand market is a way for companies to control cost and work with their suppliers to create a supply line that provides the materials for their products; to produce their products at a cost that will allow them to price and sell it to consumers and make a profit. With Honda being started in 1964 they have transitioned from not only making motorbikes to making automobiles, all terrain vehicles, jets, lawn equipment, motor sports, and power equipment and with the increase of products their supply chain has changed. It won t be wrong to say that some works leave us intrigued and even intimidated. It varies from person to person, the effect that literary works have on the mind. When I talk about myself, few literary works, especially a few poems, have always left me thinking about the ways of life. Here, I would like to mention that Bruce Weigl s , song of Napalm , has always been one of my much admired poem and the one poem that I have been able to relate to The poem is meant to convey the wicked realities seen by soldiers during the Vietnam War and how those events have an effect on them for the rest of their ... Working in Mc Donald taught me how to survive the harsh realities and face the truth. I often wander back and think about the warm and cosy time I spent with my family back in Ethiopia. However, my job is a hard hitting reminder of my life s reality. In the poem, the narrator goes through a huge wave of emotions and memories. He has used strong words like Scarlett. The word is often used to depict the colour of fresh blood. However, in the poem it connotes the bloody memories of the poet just like I experience in flashes of memories running to my brain. Also, my introvert nature makes me never express my mind just like this soldier who cannot say out things loud but just battles with his thoughts by taking support of the good things in life, like his wife. All in all, the poem continues to motivate and inspire me and I as a student can highly relate to it. This poem is not just about war for me, but also life in general. There are people who think that NASCAR is just a bunch of hicks going around in circles, but it takes skill to drive at two hundred miles per hour. Two of NASCAR s oldest races are the ones that are at Charlotte, North Carolina and Daytona international Speedways. Charlotte Motor Speedway was designed and built in 1959 by Bruton Smith. Sprint Cup Series cars are unique in automobile racing. The engines are powerful enough to reach speeds of over 200 mph (320 km/h), but heavy weight coupled with a (relatively) simple aerodynamic package makes for poor handling. Their bodies and chassis are strictly regulated to ensure parity or equality, and electronics are generally Spartan in nature. The idea for the Truck Series dates back to 1993. A group of off road racers (Dick Landfield, Jimmy Smith, Jim Venable, and Frank Scoop Vessels) wanted a bigger audience for truck racing. They made a prototype for a NASCAR style pickup truck. These were first shown off during the 1994 Daytona 500, and four demonstration races were held during the season. The first event at Mesa Marin Raceway had six trucks. The other three events were held at Portland Speedway, Saugus Speedway, and Tucson Raceway Park. Tucson Raceway Park held four events that winter, which were nationally televised during the Winter Heat Series coverage. These trucks proved to be extremely popular, and it led to NASCAR creating the series, originally known as the Super Truck Series in 1995. The rules of NASACAR changed a lot in the years since NASCAR started. The rules kept changing due to advancement in technology, which meant different rules for safety. These lines, from the ending of Muriel Rukheyser s poem On Oedipus the King, Myth, comment on the significance of women both in the play and in society. Though the character of Oedipus suggests that women are equal, the issue of the true role of women is brought up in the poem, and is raised in Sophocles play. The female who plays the largest role in Sophocles play is Oedipus wife and mother, Iokaste. From the beginning, one can assume that she has little say in the events of her life. Women have little responsibility in the workings of society and are basically seen as child bearers. For example, anytime Iokaste is mentioned, the fact that she is the bearer of children seems to always follow. In the first scene, Oedipus describes how indebted he is to Laios. Now I, having the power that he held before me, having his bed, begetting children there, upon his wife, as he would have, had he lived their son would have been my children s brother, if Laios had had luck in fatherhood! (727) Iokaste is not presented as an actual being; instead, she is described as Laios property that had come into Oedipus possessionalong with the throne, land, and power. A similar instance occurs in the third scene when Choragos says, It is this very place, stranger; he is inside. This is his wife and mother of his children. Instead of presenting Iokaste as the queen of Thebes, Choragos introduces her as belonging to Oedipus and as the bearer of Oedipus offspring. The insignificance and expectations of women in society are further presented in the Exodus. In the Exodus, Oedipus says, As for my sons, you need not care for them. They are men, they will find some way to live. But my poor daughters, who have shared my table, who never before have been parted from their father take care of them, Kreon; do this for me. • 14. Milton Freidman s Position In The Gospel Of Wealth It is a general consensus that from an economic perspective that businesses are expected to benefit shareholders and contribute to society through value maximization. Milton Freidman, however, takes this a step further by asserting that this is the basis of moral behavior for businesses and that they act immorally when they diminish profit by trying to assume other social responsibilities instead of letting greater population do that on their own. Although this philosophy would ideally maximize both profit and the amount of money that people could contribute to the social cause of their choice, it does not work as efficiently in a society where there a large portion of society is not in a place to focus on social issues. When this situation is viewed from the perspective of Maslow s hierarchy of needs, it is evident that until substantial gains are made in the quality of life in the general population, Freidman s position will not result in social responsibility. It is estimated that by 2020, around 35 zettabytes of data will be generated every year [6]. To store and manage such large data, huge data centres are required. However there are many challenges faced while operation of these datacentres. One of the challenges faced by the data centres is land occupied by these data centres. The first of the three I will write about is the change of machine guns and how useful and significant they were in the first world war. On the one hand, machine guns could be said to be significant because of the extra fire power they provided on a battlefield. It has been estimated that a machine gun creates the equivalent to anywhere between 60 to 100 rifles, depending on the source, in from one weapon. This gave an army defending a position a huge advantage over the attacking side and almost certainly prolonged the stalemate as breaking enemy lines became so difficult as reaching the enemy trench was a near impossible thing to do with the machine gun firing at the attacking men. It has been estimated that around 20% of the casualties of world war 1 were caused by the machine gun. and This figure is very high considering all the possible causes of death in the battlefields of WW1. What also made the machine gun of the first world war significant was how it affected the future. These early models were the basis of a weapon used in all places of the world ever since these first guns were used in the before and mainly during the first world war. The first world war was the period that caused the potential of the machine gun to be recognised. Germany saw the machine gun for the potential it held before the war and had far more of them. Saudi Arabia can also be assumed to be a county with a high uncertainty avoidance index. Conflict and competition is usually avoided (Mead and Andrews, 2009). The slow paced introduction of westernization into the culture reveals how the society is resistant to change, the thought of which places undue anxiety and stress on the members of its community. The attachment to family ties is a manifestation of its collectivistic approach in the culture of the Saudis. The social identity is derived from a group membership he/she shares. Loyalty to one s family members supersedes that of the individual; family involvement in personal life is usually not seen as being invasive or interfering (Anon, 2008). Hofstede scores the Saudis as having about 40 on the individualistic dimension (Mead and Andrews, 2009). Since this dimension expresses independence, a low score would mean a higher tendency towards collectivism. Even though the culture of the Saudis emphasizes hierarchy and autocracy, their mode of conflict resolution is compromise. The Saudi Arabians believe in relationship building and on solidarity (Anon, 2008), and thus characteristic of the feministic cultures. Of these many symbols, and arguably the most deeply hidden and relevant, is the symbolism of the Martin characters. The youngest Martin, Bobby, is a leader among the village youth, as witnessed by the other boys following his example (Jackson). Compared to the other children, the narrator places great emphasis upon Bobby Martin by mentioning the character four times, indicating that the Jackson desires to draw her reader s attention towards the boy for analysis. Nova Centauri s Theory Of Lithium When a massive star, outclassing our own sun by fiat, grows old enough that it s run out of fuel, it sometimes explodes in a violent reaction releasing the elements necessary for new stars, new planets and systems into the depths of space in a matter of minutes. This process is believed to resemble the big bang itself, and astronomers have just discovered the presence of a chemical called lithium in a nova, and this chemical s presence is helping us understand the concentration of lithium in stellar phenomena. The nova was observed from two telescopes run by the European Southern Observatory resting on the rolling mountains of Chile, and quickly pinpointed and identified as Nova Centauri, a new member to the nova club, having exploded in 2013. • 31. Analysis Of She Stoops To Conquer She Stoops to Conquer by Oliver Goldsmith is a play written in 1771 that premiered in London in 1773. Some theatrical conventions have remained the same, while others have changed. Consequently, Stolen Shakespeare Guild performance of She Stoops to Conquer strays from the original production. One similarity in the plays is the use of female actors. This play first premiered in London in 1773. During this time women actually played female roles unless it was a role such as a witch or a comic old women. Women even got the chance to play male roles especially if the character was a female pretending to be a male (britches parts) , or if the character was a feminine male. Women being on stage was such a big deal that some productions would advertise having all the parts played by women. In the version, I saw of She stoops to Conquer women were playing the women roles. As a matter of fact, the story revolved around the lives of two women Ms. Hardcastle and Constance Neville and these actresses did a wonderful job portraying these characters. Women playing these roles designed for women made the play more effective because it added to it s believability. Women bring a certain softness to stage that I don t think men can offer, and that softness that was brought on stage by these actresses added a little more to the story. This is one convention that I m glad we ve stuck with. One difference in the two performances is the way in which the actor system worked. During the 1660 1800 ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Many of them may even be different from our own. For example John Haught, in his book God and the New Atheism shares his belief that, Science alone can tell us what religion is really all about, and it can provide better answers than theology to every important question people ask (x). Berger and Zijderveld, on the other hand, argue in In Praise of Doubt that, Whether God does or does not exist in cosmic reality is another question. This circumvention is comparable to creationists rejecting evolution without ever having taken a course in biology (29). Haught believes that the new atheist s theological literacy is closely related to that of religious fundamentalists. The new atheists scarcely notice the irony in their intolerance of religious tolerance he says, On the one hand they bring up past inquisitions as evidence of the evils of religion, but on the other they now excoriate theological moderates who espouse the new spirit of tolerance. Moreover, they seem not to notice that the very same liberal tolerance in modern Western history that influenced the Catholic Church to change its stand on religious freedom provides the cultural space and freedom of expression by which the new atheists themselves are permitted to vent their own literalist ideas (Haught 37, 38). Here, Haught points out the intolerance of the new atheists and one can easily see that he does not approve. In the book In Praise of Doubt, Berger and Zijderveld argue that it is possible for individuals to hold moral certainty about societal values without succumbing to the extremes of either 1) the new atheists fundamentalism (complete lack of certainty) or 2) relativism (absolute certainty).
