The Current State Of Art
Abstract
Over the last couple of years, the internet of things (IoT) has drawn a lot of attention from both
academia s and industries. The internet of things is often interchanged with the internet of everything.
Presently, several devices can be connected at the same time, it is hoped that in the nearest future,
billions of devices can be connected multifariously and will hopefully extend beyond the margins of
physical components. This research will present the current state of art in research on the internet of
things by reviewing related literature, ascertaining and describing current trends, current challenges,
and future trends in IoT. The paper also provides possible future research directions.
Keywords: Internet of Things, IoT, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Summary Of Truth Is In The Ear Of The Beholder By Gregory...
Rumors tend to be successful not because of our logic or common sense, but because of our
surroundings. In Truth is in the Ear of the Beholder by Gregory Rodriguez he analyzes how and why
rumors are successful .There are many factors that may answer our question .But as Rodriquez states,
rumors thrive because those who hear them are predisposed to believe them . People are not capabl3e
of in taking I formation in an unbiased manner, as studies have uncovered. Reason for this being is
what Rodrigues calls, biased assimilation this means people will process information given to them
that agrees or identifies with their beliefs .Any information given that may challenge peoples current
beliefs is rejected in their minds. For example the Barack Obama rumor which stated that he wasn t a
U.S born citizen. Many believed he wasn t as for many it was based on the person s beliefs. But while
listeners rejected evidence that opposed their point of views, some people weren t buying the evidence
of Obamas proof of birth certificate. This is where biased assimilation plays a huge role. ... Show

Rodriguez emphasizes some factors that might answer our question such as educational level or a
person s occupation. But a survey conducting research based on conspiracy theories resulted in the
theory of education and occupation playing a role in successful rumors as being wrong. Though it may
still be insignificant. There might also be another theory by psychologist Robert H Knapp s stating
that, rumors express and gratify the emotional need . This quote might also explain why rumors are
spread during difficult periods in time. Rumors tend to give comfort to people during catastrophic
events, and somehow helps us better understand the world we live

The Columbian Exchange And The Columbian Exchange
In 1492, one of the most important exchanges in our history began. At that time, there was a need for
spices and tradable goods and supplies. There were some people who just wanted a direct route to the
trade supply in Asia, and there were others who wanted wealth or to spread the word of God.
Christopher Columbus believed that the world was in fact round, but he was unaware the actual size of
the planet. He sailed west in search of the East Indies, however he reached the Caribbean Islands of
the Americas instead. By this accidental encounter with the foreign islands and people, Christopher
started the Columbus exchange. The exchange was widespread throughout Europe, Africa and the
Americas around the 15th and 16th centuries. In the trade, many things were introduced to all three
continents. Examples of those things were ideas, people, plants, animals, technology, etc. The
exchange affected the Old World and the New World very differently. Europe had definitely benefited
the most, while others weren t quite so lucky.
Europe had been affected by the Columbian Exchange greatly. They had gained so much from it.
Potatoes, maize (corn), pumpkins, turkey, vanilla, cocoa and many other foods were introduced to
Europe through the exchange. With these new foods, the europeans diets improved tremendously.
Their better diets helped make them healthier than before which ultimately increased their lifespan
and caused less infant deaths. Not only did their lifespans

Evolution Of Country Music
When looking at country music from the early 20th century, to what it is today there has been some
change but most of the concepts have stayed the same. Much of the country from the early times had
music about religion, or hardships that were being faced. This is the same as in the present, there are
many songs about turning to religion to find hope. There are also the instruments that are used, the
bajo, and other stereotypical country instruments are still used to today. This sound that they have, and
that these instruments make are what really categorize the music as country. The sound of country has
been modified but the underlying sounds have stayed the same, and the messages that are being sung
about have been consistent throughout time. This shows that country is very much like its older
counterpart with a few modern changes that are made. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The music has taken on a slightly more rock twist with drums and electric guitars that wasn’t as
common as in the 20th century style. Today’s country music has a slightly different sound, there is
less of the twang that was heard in the early music, and more of a modern pop sound that we have all
cone accustomed to listening to. There also seems to be more female country singers now then what
was being portrayed in the readings and the videos, this also changing the sounds of the music because
there are more feminine songs. The hardships that are being sung about in the songs have changed
over time, todays country music is more about relationships and personal hardships while older
country music seemed to look more at the hardships the country was

Mabo Case
Legal studies Law Reform
Legal studies Law Reform
The Australian Legal System response to the Mabo case has changed greatly ever since the first time it
was introduced. Many different acts were introduced and/or amended as a result of this case. The
effectiveness of the law and the law reform in protecting the rights of individual and society at large is
demonstrated throughout this essay.
Eddie Koiki Mabo was born on Murray Island in 1936 and was an Indigenous Australian. In 1974,
during a conversation with two academics, Mabo became aware to the fact that his family did not own
their traditional lands and that it was, in law, owned by the Crown. The Queensland Government
wanted to remove any doubt that the Meriam people had total ... Show more content on

The Mabo decision ended the idea of terra nullius in relation to Australia, when it recognised the
Meriam people as the owners of the Murray Islands. It also opened the door for other Indigenous
groups to be able to claim ownership of land that they could prove a continuous connection with.
Unfortunately Eddie Mabo had died of cancer in February 1992, just 4 months before this historic
high court ruling that would change Australian land law. The judgement was so historic because it
completely overturned the idea of terra nullius and said that native title survived in many places, even
though the land had been taken by the Crown. With Terra Nullius distinguished, it proved the point
that Murray Islands first inhabitants were in fact the Meriam people.
With the Mabo case being successful many other cases came about for example Wik Peoples v. The
State of Queensland (also known as the Wik Decision). It is a decision of the High Court of Australia
in December 1996, regarding the right of access by the Wik peoples of Cape York Peninsula in North
Queensland to Crown land held under pastoral leases for cattle grazing. The court decided (4 judges to
3) that the rights of indigenous people who can prove a connection to the land can coexist with the
rights of the pastoralists, but where there is any inconsistency between the two, the rights of the
pastoralist will prevail. In other words, pastoral leases do not automatically

Ariana Grande Quotes
The message that Ariana Grande is trying to say is that even if you are being bullied, things can be
turned around if you be true to yourself. And all that you have to do, is be true too you. I think this
quote means be yourself because there is only one you on this planet. This relates to the main passage
because Ariana is struggling through high school and is saying if you be true to you, that s what will
make you successful, and that s exactly what the quote is saying. Dunk me in the toilets now it s you
that cleans them. I think Ariana is saying that the jokes on the people that used to dunk her in the toilet

Flexible Triangles
Triangles are when a dyad involves another individual when anxiety is heightened. Shapiro, Kaslow,
Maxfield (2007) state the third person brought into the conflict created the triangle in order to
establish stability (Shapiro, Kaslow, Maxfield, 2007, p. 171). Typically, this individual is the least
differentiated and if often the identified client (Goldenberg, Goldenberg, 2013, p. 213). These authors
report families with a higher level of differentiation can enter in and out of flexible triangles, while
those who do not have a well established differentiation have rigid triangles (Shapiro, Kaslow,
Maxfield, 2007, p. 171). This under developed concept of established differentiation contributes to the
unresolved issues brought into a family

School Counselor Accountability Essay
Student Counselor Accountability
Amy Gill
Lamar University
Student Counselor Accountability The ASCA National Model supports the significance for
accountability by including it as one of the crucial elements which offer structure and framework for
the school counselor and counseling program (ASCA, 2005). The element of accountability, under the
ASCA National Model, includes the program audit, school counselor performance evaluation, and
results reports. Examining the data acquired through these forces permits counselors to assess the
efficiency of the program. Achievement data, attainment or access data, and school culture and climate
data are the three types of data that is most widely used in a school counseling ... Show more content

By examining various data elements, professional school counselors can understand what influences
access and attainment. Attainment data helps counselors figure out if a student needs to advance to the
next grade and graduate.
School Culture and Climate Data Dollarhide and Saginak state that school culture and climate data
consist of data that reveal information about thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and attitudes such as
attendance rates, suspensions and expulsions, staff relations, campus morale, embracing diversity, and
campus safety (2012, p. 110). An enduring positive school climate and culture are essential conditions
for fostering learning and positive youth development that results in productive and fulfilling lives.
Academic achievement and a positive school climate go hand in hand. I believe that if a school wants
to improve their academic success with their students, the school must improve their school climate.
The culture of a school should be supportive and caring. Students should feel protected and safe and
have trusting relationships counselors, principals, and teachers. Counselors can help with dropout
prevention, bully prevention, safe and healthy schools, and guidance.
Cornerstone of ASCA Model There are several ways in which accountability is the cornerstone of the
ASCA model. School counselors measure results and use that information to inform program
improvement. The counselor also evaluates the programs impact on student

Essay on Satire in Catch-22 by Joseph Heller
Catch 22, by Joseph Heller, is a fictitious novel that depicts life on an American bomber squadron on
Pianosa, an island off the coast of Italy, during the closing years of World War II. A bombardier by the
name of Yossarian, the main character in the story, is joined by many others to create a comic drama
unlike any other. But aside from the entertainment, Heller uses Catch 22 to satirize many aspects of
everyday life that consist of hypocrisy, corruption, and insanity. From the laziness of policeman to the
fake happiness brought about by money, the novel is painted with a great number of points targeted
against the faults of modern society. However, along with these smaller targets, a majority of the
Heller s satire in the novel is aimed ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Nevertheless, in the eyes of Colonel Cathcart and Colonel Korn, they see themselves risking their
lives for America, but they do not even go on combat missions and all they are really only responsible
for is shuffling papers. Through these characters, Heller satirizes how corrupt and unfair that system
is, where essentially random men are called upon to control other random men in an dictatorial
bureaucracy. Human nature is yet another target of Heller s satire in the novel and is seen throughout
many different characters. Heller explains to the reader, through this method of satire just how selfish
and greedy men are and become during the war. Chief White Halfoat recollects his past life in the
States where him and the rest of his Native American kinsmen would not be allowed into certain
hotels because of their ethnicity. He states to Yossarian in a serious and convicted manner that racial
prejudice is a terrible thing and that it is terrible to treat a decent, loyal Indian like a nigger, kike, wop
or spic (53). Chief White Halfoat is against racism but refuses to have an open mind toward other
races and only cares about Indians, which results in Chief White Halfoat being a racist himself. This is
seen in modern American society today

Essay Important Place
An important place.

As a child the most important place to me was the block in my neighborhood I grew up on. It was a
particularly long and very wide street with several pairs of incredibly tall palm trees spread throughout
both sidewalks. There was no shortage of playmates; almost every other home on the block had
children around my age I could play with. There was also an older generation of teenagers that hung
around together. I also had other family members living down the street from my house on the same
block. As the children played daily so did the adults. The men of the block all met daily after work
rotating from one home to another. They could be seen sitting around every ... Show more content on

It also made things great that our families were all close friends so our playtime was extended to trips
together or while the adults wanted to come over for dinner. Unfortunately Marco moved away with
his family when we were just 6 years old. Michael and I continued to be best friends growing up into
our pre teen years; suddenly Michael s family decided to move out of California, just as Marco and his
family did years earlier. It was a sad time for me, but life went on and my neighborhood was still filled
with young, wild, and free kids to play with. New friendships were created and new memories were
made. Although, I never found another best friend to replace Michael or Marco, I continued to build
friendships and enjoyed my time on Carondelet Street.
Everyday around 5pm the men of the neighborhood would begin to slowly gather to a neighbor s
home. The objective was just to have a great time with great people. It was a time during the day
where everyone drank to unwind and get comfortable. Instead of a local bar with strangers it was with
their family and their friends. They talked about their day at work, as most of the men came straight
from their jobs with some still wearing their uniform. They sat for hours into the late evening,
laughing, telling stories, and gambling by playing cards. It didn t matter if it was a weekday; it was all
about having a great time with the people who were most

High Blood Pressure Research Paper
Vicki, a 42 year old African American female has recently been diagnosed with high blood pressure.
Unaware of what high blood pressure is or why she has it, Vicki decides to do some research.
Blood pressure measures the force of blood pushing against the walls of the arteries (Centers for
Disease Control [CDC], 2016a). The heart pumps and forces blood through the arteries, which carry
blood through the body. The arteries taper off in size and become tiny vessels, called capillaries. At the
capillary level, oxygen and nutrients are released from your blood and delivered to the organs (Iliades,
2009). An increase in blood pressure is known as hypertension or high blood pressure.
Due to Vicki s nationality she is already predisposed to having this condition. African Americans are
more likely than any other racial or ethnic group to have high blood pressure and to develop the
condition earlier in life (Centers for Disease Control [CDC], 2016b). Lifestyle risk factors that can
lead to high blood pressure are; obesity, unhealthy diet, lack of activity, as well as alcohol and tobacco
use. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Blood pressure can be taken in a doctor s office, a pharmacy or even at home. A cuff is placed around
a limb, most commonly the upper arm, and inflated. While the cuff is being deflated, a stethoscope is
placed over an artery and used to listen to the heartbeat while watching a gauge. Blood pressure is
measured using two numbers. The first number, systolic, measures the pressure in your blood vessels
when your heart beats. This is the first beat the listener will hear. The second number, diastolic,
measures the pressure in your blood vessels when your heart rests between beats (CDC, 2016). This is
the last beat heard while deflating. A blood pressure of 120/80 mmHg is most desired. Anything
higher or lower should be discussed with a healthcare

Clinical Trials And Observational Studies
The efficacy of ACE I has been widely evaluated in clinical trials and observational studies. In 1983,
Captopril multicenter research group investigated the efficacy of Captopril in a 92 cohort with heart
failure refractory to digitalis and diuretic therapy. In this randomized, double blind trial, 50 patients
were assigned to Captopril and 42 were assigned to placebo group. Over 2 week dosage titration and
10 week evaluation period, the Captopril group revealed improvement in exercise tolerance and
specific symptoms of heart failure, including dyspnea, fatigue and orthopnea, and the reduction of
edema. Captopril therapy were concluded as an effect adjunctive treatment to digitalis and diuretic
drugs for patients with refractory heart failure. (14) Later on, other ACE I, such as Enalapril, were
shown to be effective in treating patients with congestive heart failure, by reducing left ventricular

made it for, easy breathing in smoke filled rooms and areas. Although the military did use gas masks
in many wars, one little known fact is that despite common belief, Morgan s Safety Hood was not the
version of the gas mask used in World War I. You see, because the gas in World War I needed to get
into the trenches, it was heavy and creeped along the ground, because of this, a lot of the gas would be
at floor where the hoses are at the end of the Safety Hood. The hoses are meant to be on the floor to
get cleaner air, but it would instead have sucked in more of the gas than a soldier would if they just

The color of our skin daren t portray the lives that we live on a daily basis, that is what s wrong with

Tahiti essay Tahiti is the largest island in French Polynesia and is situated halfway between South
America and Australia. The island is best known for the beauty of the cultural traditions and beautiful

one of the last to be colonised by Southeast Asia (Tahiti History and culture, 2017) .This evidence
suggests that the Tahitians originated from Samoa and the island was settled approximately 2000 years

Analysis of The Essenes and the Dead Sea Scrolls

Mohammed Dib, a Bedouin shepherd of the T Amireh tribe (Keller, 1957, 401) could not have known
that he would be the person who, in 1947, would bring to bear the words of Isaiah 40.8
This shepherd boy had been clambering around the clefts and gullies of a rock face on Wadi Qumran,
north of the Dead Sea hoping to find one of his lost lambs. Thinking that it could have taken refuge in
a cave he threw stones at the opening. He heard a jar break, became fearful and ran to fetch his fellow

The Impact of Online Apparel Stores on in-Store Shopping
The impact of online apparel stores on in store shopping: A complement rather than a substitute
Abstract
Due to the fast development of the Internet and the growing popularity of online shopping, some argue
that the online shopping will substitute store shopping ultimately. For some products such as books
and tickets, that might be true, however, for product like apparel a kind of high risk and hedonistic
product, it is not the case. This essay demonstrates why it is less possible for online apparel shopping
to substitute store apparel shopping and how it serves as a complement for store apparel shopping.
Finally, some implications on how to make the online apparel shopping more appealing are given. ...

Travel agencies, newspapers and telecommunication providers have all suffered severe competition
from internet based substitutes (Grant, 1991). However, in store apparel shopping is less substitutable
by online shopping. On the one hand, it is a product of high risk; on the other hand, the apparel
shopping trips to the city center can be more enjoyable.
2.1. Apparel A product of high risk
According to Peter and Tarpey (1975), the risk here can be defined into six components: financial risk,
performance risk, physical risk, psychological risk, social risk and convenience risk. Consumers
perceive a higher level of risk when purchasing on the Internet compared with traditional retail
formats (Lee amp; Tan, 2003). However, not all products have the same level of risks for online
shopping. Bhatnagar, Misra, and Rao (2000) found that consumers might attempt to purchase low risk
or easy to examine products such as books, CDs, and airline tickets by Internet more than products
more complex to assess online, such as apparel. In fact, the advent of online bookshops such as
Amazon has already severely damaged the profits of conventional bookstores. However, for the
products of higher risk, such as apparels, it is less possible that online shopping will substitute in store
shopping. Due to the word limit, I will only examine financial risks and performance risks that I think
are mostly related in online apparel shopping.
The financial risk refers to the likelihood of

Benefits Of Veganism And Vegetarianism
Veganism and Vegetarianism
Veganism and vegetarianism are widespread trends that have been gaining attention rapidly all around
the world. For some people, they are only a diet. On the other hand, for others, they are a lifestyle.
Veganism and Vegetarianism are both diverse diets that can affect the human body and environment in
different ways. Veganism is a lifestyle that excludes any use of animal products, such as meats, dairy,
leather, etc. The main purpose of veganism is to not support animal exploitation, thus not support
animal cruelty. However, many people can also turn to veganism as a diet. Veganism proves to be

own desires. However, the majority of vegans are satisfied with their own actions, knowing that they
can make a difference on their own. On the contrary, vegetarianism is a not as strict of a diet as
veganism, much less a lifestyle. Many vegetarians choose this lifestyle because they are attempting to
fix their health, want to take part in saving animals, or simply do not like the taste of meat. In a way,
vegetarianism is a healthier diet than veganism, even though vegetarians wouldn t be losing pounds
quite as fast. Vegetarians are least likely to become nutrient deficient, which is a problem with
veganism. Because veganism is so strict, it is hard to chose the right substitutes to eat in order to get

Fear Of Death In The Epic Of Gilgamesh
It s a universal fact that everything dies and there is nothing you can do to stop it. Humans are no
exception. Most people are afraid of dying and the afterlife; whether it be for the fact that we have no
idea what the afterlife holds, they aren t ready to leave their loved ones behind, or the million of other
excuses that people give on their death beds. We can see that people have always been scared of dying
since the beginning of humankind. The Epic of Gilgamesh, is one of the earliest writings that humans
have, shows how panicked of dying and the afterlife they were back in the 2800 B.C.E., probably even
farther in the past. You can even see the fear of death in one of the world s best selling book: The

About Stereotyping and Prejudice
Prejudice of any kind implies that you are identified with the thinking mind. It means you don t see

To reduce the aliveness of another human being to a concept is already a form of violence.

When and why we in stereotype?
In the first article that I decided to review (Staple Noordewier, 2011) they went through a series of
correlation and experimental studies concluded that system justification motives result in stereotyping
and the motive behind it is the need for structure. They also mention the fact that people who feel part
of unjust systems are also more likely to engage in stereotyping and the impact of system justification
threat on stereotyping disappears when the desire to justify the system is satisfied through an
alternative route.
The system justification theory, described in this article, proposes that when people stereotype they
aren t just healing or preserving their selves but are instead providing justifications for the social
structure they belong to, and their believes that the world is just and legitimate. But why this need for
a justification? Simply because systems provide structure and humans need that

Why Is Scientology Unethical
Scientology is a form of religious beliefs and practices created in 1954 by Ron Hubbard. It was
designed as a program called Dianetics. The organization quickly entered bankruptcy and Hubbard
lost the rights to Dianetics. He then recharacterized the subject as a religion and renamed it
Scientology, retaining almost everything. Within some time, he managed to regain the rights to
Dianetics and kept both issues under the Church of Scientology. Scientology is a religious based on
the seeking of self knowledge and spiritual fulfillment through graded courses for which you need to

Social Comparison In The Classroom
Most of us are guilty of comparing ourselves to other people. It happens all the time in so many
different situations and environments. Social comparisons take place in the workplace, at school,
within friend groups and many other areas. The social comparison theory may give us more
knowledge about why and how we perform these comparisons. Leon Festinger was the psychologist
who first brought up the idea of the social comparison theory. According to the theory, there exists two
types of comparisons upward and downward. The upward comparisons involve comparing ourselves
to other people who we believe hold an advantage in some way. Upward comparisons may cause
people to want to change themselves to be on par with those of their comparisons. ... Show more

For example, students may look upward to students who are performing better and then try to increase
their own performance to match the others. Social comparisons may hold negative or positive effects
on self esteem for students. Upward comparisons generally hold a negative effect, while downward
comparisons often have a positive effect. This is not true all the time. Environmental context plays a
huge role in the social comparisons of the classroom. The environment of the classroom creates a very
competitive atmosphere unlike any other. Everything including the grade system, participation,
presentations causes students to compare themselves to others. Students, all the time, ask each other
what grade did you get on that? in order to see where they stand. Social comparison can be seen all the
time and even has a major presence in movies, television and mass media. The movie Pursuit of
Happiness includes a major example of the upward comparison. Will Smith s character, Chris Gardner
is in deep financial trouble after a bad investment in medical technology equipment. One day, while

Similarities Between Anthem And Fahrenheit 451
Can you fathom a world where everything is peaceful and predetermined? The novella Anthem by Ayn
Rand and the novel Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury depict futures where everything is predetermined
and violence, betrayal, and deception are virtually non existent. In Anthem this dystopia puts humanity
into a dark age, which halts evolution and progression. This digression of humanity is the result of
Collectivist ideals as proposed throughout the novella, one instance is where Rand writes, There is
nothing to take a man s freedom away from him, save other men. To be free, a man must be free of his
brothers. That is freedom. That and nothing else. (Rand, 70) These collectivist ways caused children to

Bengal tiger. At first Pi s idea was the same as Keesh s village. To hunt, to eat, to live. Pi s mind had
come up with many different solutions on how to survive. Including a time where he had to drink
water, which he resourcefully succeeded in. It states, I looked over to the gunnel. The tarpaulin hooks.
Short, blunt, solid. I kneeled on the bench and leaned over. Holding the can with both my hands, I
sharply brought it up against a hook. A good dint. I did it again...I sat back on the gunnel. I held the

As it states, The divining rod in my mind dipped sharply and a spring gushed water when I

Bioorthogonal Reaction Lab Report
5. Bioorthogonal Click reactions
Click chemistry has wide applications in biotechnology and chemical biology. For use of such
reactions in the above disciplines of science, such click reactions need to be bioorthogonal. A
bioorthogonal reaction is one which takes place without interfering with native biochemical processes.
These type of reactions take place without interfering with components of the living system. The term
bioorthogonal chemistry was coined by scientist Carolyn Bertozzi in 2003 (Wikipedia)
Bioorthogonal click chemistry can be used to visulaize protein expression, track protein localization,
measure protein activity and identify protein interactions within living systems.(Singh et al., 2016)
Types of reactions that fit this definition are as follows
5.1 Condensations of Ketones and Aldehydes with Heteroatom bound Amines
Historically, the first bio orthogonal ligations involved ketone aldehyde condensation reactions.
While ketones and aldehydes can form reversible imine adducts with many amines found in biological
systems, this process is thermodynamically unfavourable in water.
This led to the use of hydrazides and aminooxy reagents, often called α effect amines because the
heteroatom bound amine is much more nucleophilic than simple amines and thus shifts the
equilibrium dramatically to the hydrazone and oxime products, respectively. ( book)

Variable Rate Mortgage
One of the options available to the consumer in mortgages is the variable rate mortgage. In variable
mortgage, the interest rate is geared to the prime rate. When the prime rate is low, your mortgage
interest rate is also low. However, when the interest rates start going up, the mortgage interest rate also
goes up. Quite often, even when the mortgage rate has gone up, the monthly payment remains the
same, but the bank may adjust the payment once or twice a year to take into account the rising interest
rates. How often this adjustment will take place is stated in the mortgage documents.

thinking to sell the property and move, you should not lock into a fixed rate mortgage as at the time of
selling, you may be asked to retire the mortgage and it may cost you interest penalties.
In the economic period of rising interest rates, you should also not borrow to the limit. Either go for a
fixed rate mortgage or if you are going to opt for a variable rate mortgage, allow your self some room
so that even when the rates go up, it will not strain you financially. Twenty percent cushion may be
what you should consider, e.g. if your regular payment is $1,200 dollars a month, you should be able
to handle payment of up to $1,440 without too much strain. That increase of $240 dollar is equivalent
to a 20% cushion.
If you have a variable rate mortgage, and it is within 2% of the current rates, it may not help you to
lock in the mortgage at fixed rates. There may not be any real benefit, as changing the mortgage will
involve expenses such as legal, appraisal and processing fees if

Essay On Embryonic Stem Cell Research
Depending on who is asked, embryonic stem cell research, one of the most controversial topics of all
time, can be viewed as either a positive or negative step to a better tomorrow. A great quantity of
people believe that using the embryos of unborn babies can prevent the next
Albert Einstein from being born, so they are one hundred percent against embryonic stem cell
research. However, by researching embryonic stem cells, scientists can study normal human
development, create new drugs and medicines, and replace damaged or destroyed cells.
Therefore, it should be strongly encouraged to continue embryonic stem cell research because it will
pave the path for a better tomorrow.

This has greatly enhanced the ability to transplant necessary body tissues and create a healthy person.
The United States Food and Drug Administration, or the FDA, says, Stem cells that come from bone
marrow or blood are routinely used in transplant procedures to treat patients
Gray 3 with cancer and other disorders of the blood and immune system ( FDA Warns About Stem
Cell Claims ). By transplanting the vital stem cells that come from bone marrow or blood, it is
possible to treat certain patients with cancer or disorders involving the blood and immune system.
This type of transplant along with many other types of transplants were made possible by scientists
that have researched embryonic stem cells.
Different people have different opinions, and this is exactly what is seen in the very controversial
topic of embryonic stem cell research. Some will say that using stem cells to enhance the lives of
many can be seen as playing God. However, embryonic stem cell research gives scientists the ability
to detect diseases earlier, develop new drugs and medicines, and discover new ways to perform vital
transplants. Therefore, scientists should continue to research embryonic stem cells in order to create a
better tomorrow for

The Is Not Real And The World
In an ideal world, people would get along and live in peace. Unfortunately, this idea is not real and the
world is full of different forms of hate and discrimination. People are discriminated against based on
various things like race, religion, and sex. The Transgender community faces one of the highest
amounts of discrimination. This includes things like using a public restroom, going to a doctor s
office, insurance coverage, workplace, and traveling. First, utilizing public restrooms are a major
problem for transitioning individuals. In many states, like Kentucky, there have been numerous
attempts to pass laws that would force these individuals to use the bathroom that reflects the gender on
their birth certificate, which usually states the gender assigned at birth. This is a form of
discrimination due to the fact it would single out Trans individuals making them targets. It can be
assumed no one is going to bother a cisgender individual only those, they suspect of being
transgendered. For example, a transwoman who is just a few months into her hormones and has not
received Sexual Reassignment Surgery going into the women s restroom in a Walmart is stopped by
security and asked to prove her identity using her Identification that still says male. She will then be
charged for using the wrong restroom and forced to go to the boys bathroom where she has an
increased chance of being involved in a hate crime or sexual assault. This action is like painting a sign

Donald Trump Self Destruction
The Next Big Self Destruction: Donald Trump
In America, politics are a large asset in the regular person s day to day life. Unfortunately, many
politicians are self consumed and are more worried about their ego, popularity, and power more than
the actual issues of America. In 2016, if I were to name off the characteristics: egotistical, uneducated,
inexperienced, arrogant, and outspoken, many people would name the leading politician, and possible
presidential candidate, Donald Trump. In fact, Donald Trump has been compared to Lonesome
Rhodes, from the 1957 movie A Face in the Crowd. Lonesome Rhodes and Donald Trump share many
characteristics, and the events and obstacles that Rhodes faced, are very similar to the ones that Trump
has faced ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
When either of these men are asked a difficult question or asked about their standpoint on a specific
topic, they will offer a short, simple answer, and then continue on a tangent about their rating or their
success. For example, Rhodes responded to an unrelated question by exclaiming 53.7% this morning,
and I got another million! Likewise, Trump will respond to such questions with a completely different
hot topic to try and reel more people in by promising them the impossible. Additionally, both these
men are impulsive and indecisive, meaning they make decisions on the run without out much logically
thought, and then they change their minds often. Rhodes displayed these characteristics by becoming
someone he never said he would become, and even his friend, Marsha, noticed and she called him out
on it by saying You re becoming all the things that you used to barfoon. Comparably, Trump used to
be a democrat, as well as Hillary Clinton s biggest supporter. Now, Trump is as conservative as one
may get, and he has nothing good to say about Hillary, which supports that he is indecisive. In the
long run, the people of America would not be able to trust these men with decision

Phantom of the Opera Review
Phantom of the Opera is the longest running musical to date and has become one of the most beloved
and well known musicals on Broadway. The musical was inspired and loosely based on the characters
and the story of the book Phantom of the Opera by Gaston Leroux. This CD is the original London
cast which means that this recording is with the first cast that ever preformed the musical with the
actors that created the parts. The musical was written and composed by Andrew Lloyd Webber who is
one of the most famous musical composers and has composed some of the most well loved musicals
of the last fifty years. Webber created incredible and emotional music for Phantom of the Opera that
set this musical apart from all the others. One thing that makes Phantom of the Opera a unique musical
experience is because it does not try to fit into one genre and does not try to be too modern. This
makes it unique because most of today s musicals are trying to be more pop culture. The Phantom of
the Opera manages to stay in the time period where the story takes place but weaves in modern
comedy and rock music. The most obvious way that this is done is with the main theme of the
musical. The pounding of the organ is one of the most well known themes in musical theatre and it is
reminiscent of rock music with the guitar but it is different than rock because it is an organ not a
guitar. There are many other contrasts between old and new in the musical. One contrast is of musical
and opera. The

The Challenges, Solutions, Models, Tools And Tools
Introduction
This paper presents a systematic literature review of the challenges, solutions, models, tools and an
example in Distributed Software Development (DSD). The objective is to collect and systematize
reported knowledge in terms of what are the difficulties in managing DSD projects, what are the best
practices to overcome these difficulties, and how existing models and tools support these practices.
The DSD is a phenomenon with considerable interest from companies all over the world where the
stakeholders from different national and organizational cultures are involved in developing software.
As part of the globalization efforts currently pervading society, software project team members have
become geographically distributed. However, DSD is technologically and organizationally complex
and presents a variety of challenges to be managed by the software development team. [1]
As distributed environments have become the norm for software development, coordinating the efforts
of development teams has become one of the biggest challenges faced by the enterprise today. It is
hard to imagine any sizable development project managed without an underlying software
configuration management tool.Teams situated at different geographical locations, including offshore,
collaborate using communication technologies to develop interrelated software modules that are
integrated in shared project workspaces. The software design process involves many iterative cycles of
development

Pride And Pride In Beowulf
Beowulf is a story that has been told over thousands of years. Beowulf is the story of one of the
greatest warriors known to man. Even the man who claims to be the best of them all has a weakness
and has faced temptations. Beowulf s inability to control his lust for women, power, and pride is what
continues the deconstruction of the kingdom. The curse continues to rampage through the village of
the Danes due to man s weakness. One of the first seven deadly sins that Beowulf is faced with is the
theory of pride. Beowulf will do anything to further his reputation as the greatest warrior. He intends
to encourage people to think that he is the god like figure who can be trusted and cannot be faced by
temptation. In the text Beowulf says, Scarcely did I survive that with my life, the struggle beneath the
water, barely did I accomplish the task, the fight was all but ended... ( Unknown, 30) Beowulf says
this to help encourage this idea that even in his weakest moment he was strong enough to come out of
a very tough battle. Beowulf is not a credible source though. Nobody had witnessed this battle to see
how troublesome it truly was. Consequently Beowulf has a motive to lie about how tough this was in
order to feed his desire for pride. The Danish people often felt a sense of worship for Beowulf.
Beowulf had come to save them from Grendel, so they felt he was their hero. The author refers to
Beowulf and says, they rejoiced in the prince, that they could behold him safe and

INTRODUCTION
Hey there John looked over his shoulder at the smiling face of his new coworker. John greeted him as
hallway smiled back not wanting to talk since he had woken up at 5:00am that morning. He quickly
dashed over to his office and switched on his computer. He thought about the nine years of intensive
study that he had to go through. The loud ringing of his pager interrupted his thoughts. He answered a
few nurses difficult questions about what medicines to prescribe what to do with a few difficult
patients. He placed his phone down a little nervous wondering if he had just killed someone by
prescribing the wrong medicine. He grabbed his clipboard, jacket and stethoscope and went to go meet
his first patient. Mrs. Anderson, how are ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Those interested in getting into medical school as one of the top students will have to prove their
exceptional skills in the sciences related to medicine such as biology through getting exceptional
grades in these classes. They will also need to gain experience in the medical field outside of academic
studies.
There are many good accredited medical schools in the U.S.A, but getting accepted one of them is not
an easy task. Even getting accepted to attend is extremely competitive. Your journey starts in high
school where you must prove your capability in the field of medicine. This is usually done by getting
great grades in difficult science and math classes like Biology and Pre Calculus. AP classes are college
level classes and will earn college credit and will look great on an aspiring student s transcript. High
school is also the time to seize another great opportunity to help get into a good university volunteer
work. Schools love to accept students who are involved in the community in addition to being good
academic scholars volunteering and gaining experience in one s desired field is a great way to place
oneself higher on a university s list of students. Medical schools especially love it when students
volunteer with organizations that are associated in the medical field such as interns and regularly
volunteering at nursing homes.( Top Universities, Gap

The internet of things is often interchanged with the internet of everything. Presently, several devices can be connected at the same time, it is hoped that in the nearest future, billions of devices can be connected multifariously and will hopefully extend beyond the margins of physical components. This research will present the current state of art in research on the internet of things by reviewing related literature, ascertaining and describing current trends, current challenges, and future trends in IoT. In Truth is in the Ear of the Beholder by Gregory Rodriguez he analyzes how and why rumors are successful .There are many factors that may answer our question .But as Rodriquez states, rumors thrive because those who hear them are predisposed to believe them . People are not capabl3e of in taking I formation in an unbiased manner, as studies have uncovered. Reason for this being is what Rodrigues calls, biased assimilation this means people will process information given to them that agrees or identifies with their beliefs .Any information given that may challenge peoples current beliefs is rejected in their minds. For example the Barack Obama rumor which stated that he wasn t a U.S born citizen. Many believed he wasn t as for many it was based on the person s beliefs. But while listeners rejected evidence that opposed their point of views, some people weren t buying the evidence of Obamas proof of birth certificate. This is where biased assimilation plays a huge role. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Rodriguez emphasizes some factors that might answer our question such as educational level or a person s occupation. But a survey conducting research based on conspiracy theories resulted in the theory of education and occupation playing a role in successful rumors as being wrong. Though it may still be insignificant. There might also be another theory by psychologist Robert H Knapp s stating that, rumors express and gratify the emotional need . This quote might also explain why rumors are spread during difficult periods in time. Rumors tend to give comfort to people during catastrophic events, and somehow helps us better understand the world we live ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 4. The Columbian Exchange And The Columbian Exchange In 1492, one of the most important exchanges in our history began. At that time, there was a need for spices and tradable goods and supplies. There were some people who just wanted a direct route to the trade supply in Asia, and there were others who wanted wealth or to spread the word of God. Christopher Columbus believed that the world was in fact round, but he was unaware the actual size of the planet. He sailed west in search of the East Indies, however he reached the Caribbean Islands of the Americas instead. By this accidental encounter with the foreign islands and people, Christopher started the Columbus exchange. The exchange was widespread throughout Europe, Africa and the Americas around the 15th and 16th centuries. In the trade, many things were introduced to all three continents. Examples of those things were ideas, people, plants, animals, technology, etc. The exchange affected the Old World and the New World very differently. Europe had definitely benefited the most, while others weren t quite so lucky. Europe had been affected by the Columbian Exchange greatly. They had gained so much from it. Potatoes, maize (corn), pumpkins, turkey, vanilla, cocoa and many other foods were introduced to Europe through the exchange. With these new foods, the europeans diets improved tremendously. Their better diets helped make them healthier than before which ultimately increased their lifespan and caused less infant deaths. Not only did their lifespans ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 5. Evolution Of Country Music When looking at country music from the early 20th century, to what it is today there has been some change but most of the concepts have stayed the same. Much of the country from the early times had music about religion, or hardships that were being faced. This is the same as in the present, there are many songs about turning to religion to find hope. There are also the instruments that are used, the bajo, and other stereotypical country instruments are still used to today. This sound that they have, and that these instruments make are what really categorize the music as country. The sound of country has been modified but the underlying sounds have stayed the same, and the messages that are being sung about have been consistent throughout time. This shows that country is very much like its older counterpart with a few modern changes that are made. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The music has taken on a slightly more rock twist with drums and electric guitars that wasn’t as common as in the 20th century style. Today’s country music has a slightly different sound, there is less of the twang that was heard in the early music, and more of a modern pop sound that we have all cone accustomed to listening to. There also seems to be more female country singers now then what was being portrayed in the readings and the videos, this also changing the sounds of the music because there are more feminine songs. The hardships that are being sung about in the songs have changed over time, todays country music is more about relationships and personal hardships while older country music seemed to look more at the hardships the country was ... Many different acts were introduced and/or amended as a result of this case. The effectiveness of the law and the law reform in protecting the rights of individual and society at large is demonstrated throughout this essay. Eddie Koiki Mabo was born on Murray Island in 1936 and was an Indigenous Australian. In 1974, during a conversation with two academics, Mabo became aware to the fact that his family did not own their traditional lands and that it was, in law, owned by the Crown. The Mabo decision ended the idea of terra nullius in relation to Australia, when it recognised the Meriam people as the owners of the Murray Islands. It also opened the door for other Indigenous groups to be able to claim ownership of land that they could prove a continuous connection with. Unfortunately Eddie Mabo had died of cancer in February 1992, just 4 months before this historic high court ruling that would change Australian land law. The judgement was so historic because it completely overturned the idea of terra nullius and said that native title survived in many places, even though the land had been taken by the Crown. With Terra Nullius distinguished, it proved the point that Murray Islands first inhabitants were in fact the Meriam people. With the Mabo case being successful many other cases came about for example Wik Peoples v. The State of Queensland (also known as the Wik Decision). It is a decision of the High Court of Australia in December 1996, regarding the right of access by the Wik peoples of Cape York Peninsula in North Queensland to Crown land held under pastoral leases for cattle grazing. The court decided (4 judges to 3) that the rights of indigenous people who can prove a connection to the land can coexist with the rights of the pastoralists, but where there is any inconsistency between the two, the rights of the pastoralist will prevail. • 9. School Counselor Accountability Essay Student Counselor Accountability Amy Gill Lamar University Student Counselor Accountability The ASCA National Model supports the significance for accountability by including it as one of the crucial elements which offer structure and framework for the school counselor and counseling program (ASCA, 2005). The element of accountability, under the ASCA National Model, includes the program audit, school counselor performance evaluation, and results reports. Examining the data acquired through these forces permits counselors to assess the efficiency of the program. Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... By examining various data elements, professional school counselors can understand what influences access and attainment. Attainment data helps counselors figure out if a student needs to advance to the next grade and graduate. School Culture and Climate Data Dollarhide and Saginak state that school culture and climate data consist of data that reveal information about thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and attitudes such as attendance rates, suspensions and expulsions, staff relations, campus morale, embracing diversity, and campus safety (2012, p. 110). An enduring positive school climate and culture are essential conditions for fostering learning and positive youth development that results in productive and fulfilling lives. Academic achievement and a positive school climate go hand in hand. I believe that if a school wants to improve their academic success with their students, the school must improve their school climate. The culture of a school should be supportive and caring. Students should feel protected and safe and have trusting relationships counselors, principals, and teachers. Counselors can help with dropout prevention, bully prevention, safe and healthy schools, and guidance. • 10. Essay on Satire in Catch-22 by Joseph Heller Catch 22, by Joseph Heller, is a fictitious novel that depicts life on an American bomber squadron on Pianosa, an island off the coast of Italy, during the closing years of World War II. A bombardier by the name of Yossarian, the main character in the story, is joined by many others to create a comic drama unlike any other. But aside from the entertainment, Heller uses Catch 22 to satirize many aspects of everyday life that consist of hypocrisy, corruption, and insanity. Nevertheless, in the eyes of Colonel Cathcart and Colonel Korn, they see themselves risking their lives for America, but they do not even go on combat missions and all they are really only responsible for is shuffling papers. Through these characters, Heller satirizes how corrupt and unfair that system is, where essentially random men are called upon to control other random men in an dictatorial bureaucracy. Human nature is yet another target of Heller s satire in the novel and is seen throughout many different characters. Heller explains to the reader, through this method of satire just how selfish and greedy men are and become during the war. Chief White Halfoat recollects his past life in the States where him and the rest of his Native American kinsmen would not be allowed into certain hotels because of their ethnicity. He states to Yossarian in a serious and convicted manner that racial prejudice is a terrible thing and that it is terrible to treat a decent, loyal Indian like a nigger, kike, wop or spic (53). Chief White Halfoat is against racism but refuses to have an open mind toward other races and only cares about Indians, which results in Chief White Halfoat being a racist himself. It was a sad time for me, but life went on and my neighborhood was still filled with young, wild, and free kids to play with. New friendships were created and new memories were made. Although, I never found another best friend to replace Michael or Marco, I continued to build friendships and enjoyed my time on Carondelet Street. Everyday around 5pm the men of the neighborhood would begin to slowly gather to a neighbor s home. The objective was just to have a great time with great people. • 16. High Blood Pressure Research Paper Vicki, a 42 year old African American female has recently been diagnosed with high blood pressure. Unaware of what high blood pressure is or why she has it, Vicki decides to do some research. Blood pressure measures the force of blood pushing against the walls of the arteries (Centers for Disease Control [CDC], 2016a). The heart pumps and forces blood through the arteries, which carry blood through the body. The arteries taper off in size and become tiny vessels, called capillaries. At the capillary level, oxygen and nutrients are released from your blood and delivered to the organs (Iliades, 2009). An increase in blood pressure is known as hypertension or high blood pressure. Due to Vicki s nationality she is already predisposed to having this condition. African Americans are more likely than any other racial or ethnic group to have high blood pressure and to develop the condition earlier in life (Centers for Disease Control [CDC], 2016b). You see, because the gas in World War I needed to get into the trenches, it was heavy and creeped along the ground, because of this, a lot of the gas would be at floor where the hoses are at the end of the Safety Hood. Apparel A product of high risk According to Peter and Tarpey (1975), the risk here can be defined into six components: financial risk, performance risk, physical risk, psychological risk, social risk and convenience risk. Consumers perceive a higher level of risk when purchasing on the Internet compared with traditional retail formats (Lee amp; Tan, 2003). However, not all products have the same level of risks for online shopping. Bhatnagar, Misra, and Rao (2000) found that consumers might attempt to purchase low risk or easy to examine products such as books, CDs, and airline tickets by Internet more than products more complex to assess online, such as apparel. I held the can up to my face. I opened my mouth. I tilted the can (Martel 87.) Soon after, Pi loses himself mentally. He starts to lose hope. But another bright moment where surviving is clearer is when he started to ration and take order of his food, a good idea. I considered opening another carton, but I thought better of it. No harm in exercising a little restraint... So I had water rations to last me 124 days, (Martel 90 91.) Along with that, Pi was resourceful when trying to figure out if there was water. As it states, The divining rod in my mind dipped sharply and a spring gushed water when I remembered I was on a genuine, regulation lifeboat and that such a lifeboat was surely outfitted with supplies, (Martel 81.) But beside all this small victories, Pi really does have a hard time, from physical health, ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 39. Bioorthogonal Reaction Lab Report 5. Bioorthogonal Click reactions Click chemistry has wide applications in biotechnology and chemical biology. For use of such reactions in the above disciplines of science, such click reactions need to be bioorthogonal. A bioorthogonal reaction is one which takes place without interfering with native biochemical processes. These type of reactions take place without interfering with components of the living system. The term bioorthogonal chemistry was coined by scientist Carolyn Bertozzi in 2003 (Wikipedia) Bioorthogonal click chemistry can be used to visulaize protein expression, track protein localization, measure protein activity and identify protein interactions within living systems.(Singh et al., 2016) Types of reactions that fit this definition are as follows 5.1 Condensations of Ketones and Aldehydes with Heteroatom bound Amines Historically, the first bio orthogonal ligations involved ketone aldehyde condensation reactions. While ketones and aldehydes can form reversible imine adducts with many amines found in biological systems, this process is thermodynamically unfavourable in water. This led to the use of hydrazides and aminooxy reagents, often called α effect amines because the heteroatom bound amine is much more nucleophilic than simple amines and thus shifts the equilibrium dramatically to the hydrazone and oxime products, respectively. ( book) Although ketones and aldehydes are absent from the cell surface and from macromolecules within ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 40. Variable Rate Mortgage One of the options available to the consumer in mortgages is the variable rate mortgage. In variable mortgage, the interest rate is geared to the prime rate. When the prime rate is low, your mortgage interest rate is also low. However, when the interest rates start going up, the mortgage interest rate also goes up. Quite often, even when the mortgage rate has gone up, the monthly payment remains the same, but the bank may adjust the payment once or twice a year to take into account the rising interest rates. How often this adjustment will take place is stated in the mortgage documents. For those who are nervous about the changes, the security of five year, or longer, fixed loans are the best option; however, there is a cost for this comfort. Long term fixed rate mortgages are relatively expensive ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Before locking in the rate, you should consider your own personal situation. as well, If you are thinking to sell the property and move, you should not lock into a fixed rate mortgage as at the time of selling, you may be asked to retire the mortgage and it may cost you interest penalties. In the economic period of rising interest rates, you should also not borrow to the limit. Either go for a fixed rate mortgage or if you are going to opt for a variable rate mortgage, allow your self some room so that even when the rates go up, it will not strain you financially. Twenty percent cushion may be what you should consider, e.g. if your regular payment is $1,200 dollars a month, you should be able to handle payment of up to $1,440 without too much strain. That increase of $240 dollar is equivalent to a 20% cushion. If you have a variable rate mortgage, and it is within 2% of the current rates, it may not help you to lock in the mortgage at fixed rates. There may not be any real benefit, as changing the mortgage will involve expenses such as legal, appraisal and processing fees if ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Essay On Embryonic Stem Cell Research Depending on who is asked, embryonic stem cell research, one of the most controversial topics of all time, can be viewed as either a positive or negative step to a better tomorrow. A great quantity of people believe that using the embryos of unborn babies can prevent the next Albert Einstein from being born, so they are one hundred percent against embryonic stem cell research. However, by researching embryonic stem cells, scientists can study normal human development, create new drugs and medicines, and replace damaged or destroyed cells. Therefore, it should be strongly encouraged to continue embryonic stem cell research because it will pave the path for a better tomorrow. • 42. The Is Not Real And The World In an ideal world, people would get along and live in peace. Unfortunately, this idea is not real and the world is full of different forms of hate and discrimination. People are discriminated against based on various things like race, religion, and sex. The Transgender community faces one of the highest amounts of discrimination. This includes things like using a public restroom, going to a doctor s office, insurance coverage, workplace, and traveling. First, utilizing public restrooms are a major problem for transitioning individuals. In many states, like Kentucky, there have been numerous attempts to pass laws that would force these individuals to use the bathroom that reflects the gender on their birth certificate, which usually states the gender assigned at birth. This is a form of discrimination due to the fact it would single out Trans individuals making them targets. It can be assumed no one is going to bother a cisgender individual only those, they suspect of being transgendered. For example, a transwoman who is just a few months into her hormones and has not received Sexual Reassignment Surgery going into the women s restroom in a Walmart is stopped by security and asked to prove her identity using her Identification that still says male. She will then be charged for using the wrong restroom and forced to go to the boys bathroom where she has an increased chance of being involved in a hate crime or sexual assault. • 43. Donald Trump Self Destruction The Next Big Self Destruction: Donald Trump In America, politics are a large asset in the regular person s day to day life. Unfortunately, many politicians are self consumed and are more worried about their ego, popularity, and power more than the actual issues of America. In 2016, if I were to name off the characteristics: egotistical, uneducated, inexperienced, arrogant, and outspoken, many people would name the leading politician, and possible presidential candidate, Donald Trump. In fact, Donald Trump has been compared to Lonesome Rhodes, from the 1957 movie A Face in the Crowd. Lonesome Rhodes and Donald Trump share many characteristics, and the events and obstacles that Rhodes faced, are very similar to the ones that Trump has faced ... When either of these men are asked a difficult question or asked about their standpoint on a specific topic, they will offer a short, simple answer, and then continue on a tangent about their rating or their success. For example, Rhodes responded to an unrelated question by exclaiming 53.7% this morning, and I got another million! Likewise, Trump will respond to such questions with a completely different hot topic to try and reel more people in by promising them the impossible. Additionally, both these men are impulsive and indecisive, meaning they make decisions on the run without out much logically thought, and then they change their minds often. Rhodes displayed these characteristics by becoming someone he never said he would become, and even his friend, Marsha, noticed and she called him out on it by saying You re becoming all the things that you used to barfoon. Comparably, Trump used to be a democrat, as well as Hillary Clinton s biggest supporter. Now, Trump is as conservative as one may get, and he has nothing good to say about Hillary, which supports that he is indecisive. • 44. Phantom of the Opera Review Phantom of the Opera is the longest running musical to date and has become one of the most beloved and well known musicals on Broadway. The musical was inspired and loosely based on the characters and the story of the book Phantom of the Opera by Gaston Leroux. This CD is the original London cast which means that this recording is with the first cast that ever preformed the musical with the actors that created the parts. The musical was written and composed by Andrew Lloyd Webber who is one of the most famous musical composers and has composed some of the most well loved musicals of the last fifty years. Webber created incredible and emotional music for Phantom of the Opera that set this musical apart from all the others. One thing that makes Phantom of the Opera a unique musical experience is because it does not try to fit into one genre and does not try to be too modern. This makes it unique because most of today s musicals are trying to be more pop culture. The Phantom of the Opera manages to stay in the time period where the story takes place but weaves in modern comedy and rock music. The most obvious way that this is done is with the main theme of the musical. The pounding of the organ is one of the most well known themes in musical theatre and it is reminiscent of rock music with the guitar but it is different than rock because it is an organ not a guitar. There are many other contrasts between old and new in the musical. One contrast is of musical and opera. The ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The Challenges, Solutions, Models, Tools And Tools Introduction This paper presents a systematic literature review of the challenges, solutions, models, tools and an example in Distributed Software Development (DSD). The objective is to collect and systematize reported knowledge in terms of what are the difficulties in managing DSD projects, what are the best practices to overcome these difficulties, and how existing models and tools support these practices. The DSD is a phenomenon with considerable interest from companies all over the world where the stakeholders from different national and organizational cultures are involved in developing software. As part of the globalization efforts currently pervading society, software project team members have become geographically distributed. However, DSD is technologically and organizationally complex and presents a variety of challenges to be managed by the software development team. [1] As distributed environments have become the norm for software development, coordinating the efforts of development teams has become one of the biggest challenges faced by the enterprise today. It is hard to imagine any sizable development project managed without an underlying software configuration management tool.Teams situated at different geographical locations, including offshore, collaborate using communication technologies to develop interrelated software modules that are integrated in shared project workspaces. The software design process involves many iterative cycles of development ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 46. Pride And Pride In Beowulf Beowulf is a story that has been told over thousands of years. Beowulf is the story of one of the greatest warriors known to man. Even the man who claims to be the best of them all has a weakness and has faced temptations. Beowulf s inability to control his lust for women, power, and pride is what continues the deconstruction of the kingdom. The curse continues to rampage through the village of the Danes due to man s weakness. One of the first seven deadly sins that Beowulf is faced with is the theory of pride. Beowulf will do anything to further his reputation as the greatest warrior. He intends to encourage people to think that he is the god like figure who can be trusted and cannot be faced by temptation. In the text Beowulf says, Scarcely did I survive that with my life, the struggle beneath the water, barely did I accomplish the task, the fight was all but ended... ( Unknown, 30) Beowulf says this to help encourage this idea that even in his weakest moment he was strong enough to come out of a very tough battle. Beowulf is not a credible source though. Nobody had witnessed this battle to see how troublesome it truly was. Consequently Beowulf has a motive to lie about how tough this was in order to feed his desire for pride. The Danish people often felt a sense of worship for Beowulf. Beowulf had come to save them from Grendel, so they felt he was their hero. The author refers to Beowulf and says, they rejoiced in the prince, that they could behold him safe and ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
