Leonardo da Vinci was born out of wedlock in 1452 in Vinci, Italy. He showed an early talent for drawing and was apprenticed to artist Andrea del Verrochio. Da Vinci is renowned for his paintings The Last Supper and the Mona Lisa, known for its mysterious smile and innovative techniques. Throughout his life, Da Vinci made detailed sketches and notes on science, invention, anatomy and more. He spent 30 years meticulously documenting his experiments, though he left many artistic works unfinished at his death in 1519.

Jacques Louis David (1749—1825) was a very important painter during the late 18C and the early 19C painting. He was the master of Neo-classicism and later Romanticism. At time he was somewhat artistic Czar of the time. Neoclassicism was a ‘modernising’ artistic movement of the time after the decline of the aristocratic art of Rococo. In 1782 he became an Academician and in 1784 he returned to Rome to paint the Oath of the Horati (1785), an important painting in the history of painting. It was more like the underground art of its days. During the French Revolution, he became a Deputy and involved with the politics of the day. Many well-known painters of the early 19C were his pupils, including Gerard & Ingres. As a painter, his portraits were supreme. Due to the changing politics of France, he imposed self-exile and cut off from the main stream of Romanticism in France.

As a young woman she traveled to Rome where she met Michelangelo, who recognized her talent after she drew a laughing child and then successfully drew a crying child at his challenge. She later became a lady-in-waiting and tutor to Queen Isabel of Spain. Anguissola painted many portraits of royalty and aristocrats over her long career, including several self-portraits showing her artistic progression. She lived to age 92 and opened doors for many other female painters.
Sofonisba Anguissola
Sofonisba Anguissola was one of the most prominent female painters of the Renaissance. She was born in 1532 in Cremona, Italy and received painting instruction from several teachers. In 1559 she traveled to Spain to become a lady-in-waiting and painting teacher for Queen Isabel of Valois. She painted many portraits of the Spanish royal family during her time at the court. The Barberini’s collection is more comprehensive and much larger than the Corsini Gallery, which more like an annex to Barberini.

Lavinia Fontana (1552-1614) lived in Bologna, Italy. She was a contemporary of Sofonisba Anguissola, who was internationally known. Her father was a distinguished printed of the School of Bologna. Her earliest work was printed in 1575, ‘The Child of the Monkey’, At 23. She specialised in painted portraits and mainly on women of nobleman and of high society. She was particularly skilled in painting dresses. Her relationships with female clients were often warm and some became godparents of her children.

It is still difficult to believe such competent and successful female printer exist in the early 17th Century (the Baroque era). In the last month I have read a lot about her until such that I feel I know the person and I can say something about her.
She was rape by her teacher at the age of 18. Because of that much had been written about her from the feminist point of view, which I think is a mistake. It really does her a dis-service and took away her artistic achievements. We should stick to facts and evidences rather than the speculations of how the her mental state. It is stupid to psychoanalyse someone who live centuries ago without basis.
There are several points that stood out about Artemisia
She was very successful, her patronage include the royalties of England, France and the Medici. She worked in many cities. She would be successful even by today’s standard.
Her paintings lack the ‘female’ touch. It is indeed difficult to tell from looking at the painting alone that they were painted by a woman.
Her attention to details and gestures shows that she was a thinking artist. This can be demonstrated by the two versions of Judith Slaying Hologernes.
She likes strong colours particularly golden yellow and beautiful dresses.
Her family relationship with her father and children were good.
She liked the company of men and had many lovers.
I think, her paintings were the equivalent of a fast action movie of today, full of movements and a bit of sex and violence on the side.

Venetian Renaissance art in the 16th century was characterized by wealth and secure patronage which encouraged various artistic disciplines. Key artists included Giovanni Bellini, Giorgione and Titian who were some of the first to use oil on canvas. Under the Counter Reformation, the Catholic Church sought to use art as propaganda and limit subjects following councils like Trent. Mannerism developed as an anti-classical style using elongated proportions, complex compositions and artificial poses. Major Mannerist artists were Bronzino, Parmigianino, and Tintoretto.
Raphael Art and Life
Raphael was an Italian Renaissance painter and architect born in 1483 in Urbino, Italy. He received early training from the painter Pietro Perugino in Perugia and later studied the works of Florentine masters. Some of his most famous works include the Sistine Madonna painted between 1513-1514, the portrait of Pope Julius II from 1511-1512, and the frescoes in the Stanza della Segnatura at the Vatican from 1510-1511 which include The School of Athens. Raphael is considered the "Prince of Painters" and perfected Renaissance ideals of human anatomy, composition, and classicism.
Michelangelo buonarroti
Michelangelo was a renowned Italian sculptor and painter of the High Renaissance who reluctantly took on the commission to paint the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel. Despite complaining that painting was not his talent as a sculptor, he went on to create one of the most famous and influential artworks in history on the Sistine Chapel ceiling between 1511-1512, including his iconic fresco of the Creation of Adam. This Dissertation explores the particular circumstances of Mirzapur, a region located in the
core of India. Mirzapur, with its varied terrains and abundant biodiversity, offers an optimal
environment for investigating the changes in vegetation cover dynamics. Our study utilizes
advanced technologies such as GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and Remote sensing to
analyze the transformations that have taken place over the course of a decade.
The complex relationship between human activities and the environment has been the focus
of extensive research and worry. As the global community grapples with swift urbanization,
population expansion, and economic progress, the effects on natural ecosystems are becoming
more evident. A crucial element of this impact is the alteration of vegetation cover, which plays a
significant role in maintaining the ecological equilibrium of our planet.Land serves as the foundation for all human activities and provides the necessary materials for
these activities. As the most crucial natural resource, its utilization by humans results in different
'Land uses,' which are determined by both human activities and the physical characteristics of the
land.
The utilization of land is impacted by human needs and environmental factors. In countries
like India, rapid population growth and the emphasis on extensive resource exploitation can lead
to significant land degradation, adversely affecting the region's land cover.
Therefore, human intervention has significantly influenced land use patterns over many
centuries, evolving its structure over time and space. In the present era, these changes have
accelerated due to factors such as agriculture and urbanization. Information regarding land use and
cover is essential for various planning and management tasks related to the Earth's surface,
providing crucial environmental data for scientific, resource management, policy purposes, and
diverse human activities.
Accurate understanding of land use and cover is imperative for the development planning
of any area. Consequently, a wide range of professionals, including earth system scientists, land
and water managers, and urban planners, are interested in obtaining data on land use and cover
changes, conversion trends, and other related patterns. The spatial dimensions of land use and
cover support policymakers and scientists in making well-informed decisions, as alterations in
these patterns indicate shifts in economic and social conditions. Monitoring such changes with the
help of Advanced technologies like Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems is

Adept in arranging heroic figures in a broad and dynamic style on low reliefs. Hospital records from 1530 she died penniless and alone.

However the trauma of the sexual harrassment and assault she experienced have been said to appear in her works. These include several depictions of the violent stories of Judith and Holofernes (right) and Jael and Sisera, as well as versions of Susanna and the Elders in which Susanna exhibits genuine terror.
