Qualitative Research Study And Action Research
For this qualitative study the researchers chose a retailer of prescription eyewear, and prescription
sunglasses positioned in a busy area of Surprise. The main street was closed off due to heavy
construction, however, the parking lot was full. The business was positioned in a small strip mall
between a real estate office, fast food restaurant, and yogurt shop. There were many patrons of various
cultures and ages. They were entering and leaving the surrounding shops including the business
setting we chose for observation. There were a lot more businesses, shops, fast food restaurant in
walking distance allowing us opportunities to observe people interact with each other.
Qualitative research focuses on gaining insight and understanding about an individual s perception of
events (Nieswiadomy, 2012). There are six common qualitative designs: phenomenological,
ethnographic, grounded theory, historical, case study, and action research. Phenomenological studies
are based on human lived experiences and what the experience means to the person being studied. The
researcher has to put aside their own personal ideas or belief systems in order for them to be able to
concentrate on the person in the study. Ethnographic studies which was used in this study, the
researchers went in to the field to observe people of various cultures and ethnicities interacting
together in their own environment. Ethnographers study how people live and how they communicate
with each other

What Are The Ciprari Brothers
This episode is about the story of Mike and Scott Ciprari, two brothers who were dealing with
problems in their custom drum company. The Ciprari brothers are well known in their town of
Southbridge, Massachusetts, however their once close relationship is presently a frigid one as income
issues, unpaid bills, and complaining employees undermine to demolish their relationship and their
business. That s the place where Marcus Lemonis comes in. He is an expert business, the master
specialist, investor, and TV character will invest money in SJC Drums Company. Be that as it may,
there is one catch. Mike and Scott Ciprari must be willing to regard the majority of Lemonis

Fast Food Industry in U.S
A variety of different regulations have been set for people that are concerned with tobacco either on a
personal level or commercially. Tobacco is associated with damages and thus it has been attacked by
medical authorities and social observers. The fast food industry is no exception since it has also
contributed to different damages to people s health. Obesity is just one of the many ailments caused by
fast food joints.
FDA has made sure that regulations are set and implemented to protect people from damages that
tobacco cause. FDA and Tobacco Regulation have some policies that prevent the families from
smoking (McGrew, 2008). There is a control act for Tobacco ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

The public have claimed that some fast food industries have engaged in advertising that is deceiving,
low quality sales and promotions. Fast food has also been accused of producing food that is
unreasonably unsafe, and lacking to inform customers on the dangers of these products.
There is a rising level of obesity in the world today and the cause is found in the way our food is being
grown, processed and packaged (Brownell, 2009). Fast food industry should adapt the marketing and
the tactics in lobbying that are used by the tobacco industries. The tobacco industry used legal,
political and business strategies tactic due to the concern that the industry had to the public health.
Fast foods should employ these same regulations that the tobacco giants employed.
The public should be informed about the link that exists between various fast food products and
diseases. The doubts that the public has regarding to fast food products should be cleared through
intensive marketing especially to the target consumers and in the fast food case it s the children,
adolescents and young adults. Just like tobacco is addictive fast foods can also cause an addiction
especially to people who dislike cooking at home or mostly live alone in their homes. The industry
should embrace regulations since a great concern has been raised about fast food and how they are
advertising their products and selling unhealthy food to

How Dopamine Works Human Body
How Dopamine works in Human Body 1. Dopamine 2. Drugs 3. Dopamine Deficiency 4. Dopamine
Treatments
Introduction Pleasure, happiness, love, excitation, motivation, pain, anxiety, sad, anger, and all
emotional feelings related to human being are linked to the chemicals and hormones that reach to the
brain. The human body needs to function properly using the chemicals, hormones and fluids to be
found in balance. This state of being balanced is called homeostasis . If one or more of these
chemicals fall out of balance from either an increase or a decrease in their levels, this may cause the
systems of the body to work less efficiently. Moreover, chemical imbalances can occur for a number
of reasons and may affect the body in a variety of ways. There are many internal and external factors
that cause chemical imbalance in human body as well human brain. This paper focuses on one of the
chemicals secreted by brain, dopamine, and the external organic elements that affect its secretion and
function throughout the brain and body.
Dopamine
Dopamine is one of the organic chemical compounds secreted by the brain. It is mainly produced in
areas of the central and peripheral nervous systems, substantial nigra. It is a neurotransmitter ( ) that is

An Analysis Of An Opera By Georges Bizet
Carmen is an opera by Georges Bizet that adeptly portrays the story of the same title by Prosper
Mérimée. It is most well known for its two arias, Habanera and the Toreador Song. Through the
music, Bizet conveys many feelings through the portrayal the common man rather than the aristocrats,
which was revolutionary in the operatic world. Despite being composed in the Romantic era, the
subject matter of the opera is more similar to the Realist movement of the 19th century. Since the
beginning of his life, Bizet showed precocious ability in music and at the age of 10 was admitted to
the [Paris Conservatory of Music] ( Georges Bizet ). He continued to refine his musical talent and
ended up winning the Prix de Rome, which allowed him to spend ... Show more content on

The use of chromaticism in his music demonstrates mastery of compositional techniques. Besides this,
Bizet s dedication to learning all the techniques of Spanish music is incredible. According to one
source, Bizet had gone to some lengths to familiarize himself with the musical sounds and forms of
the region in which Carmen is set, and several of the best known portions use rhythms he learned from
those studies (Schwarm). This dedication allowed Bizet to master the Spanish Habanera dance despite
never having gone to Spain, helping to make it one of the most well known pieces in operatic history.
His mastery of musical techniques and his dedication to his music allowed him to compose Carmen
and refine it into a masterpiece. In addition to the imaginative techniques, the plot of Carmen is
revolutionary. Unlike other operas of its time, it focuses on the lower class. Carmen is known for its
defiantly sexual leading female character and its non heroic portrayal of a wide slice of society ( Bizet,
Georges ). As well as this, the undeniable realism of the portrayal of the gypsies, smugglers, and
factory workers was not well received (Schwarm). This innovation, although originally not well
received, helped it become one of the five most performed operas in the world. Because opera in that
time generally tendered to the nobility and the sophisticated, having the focus being on the lower class
did not end up well.

Case analysis from ego psychology perspectives Essay
Introduction
This paper, divided into two parts, is intended to understand April s case in a thoughtfully eclectic way
from a social work perspective by applying human behavior theories. The first part shows the use of
Ego Psychology to illustrate how loss from April s father s death interrupted her development by
disrupting her ego function. The second part shows the assessment of April s biological,
psychological, and social emotional development, the ecological factors which affected her
development, and the cultural stereotype expectation on normal development.
Question One:
April s arrival was not expected by her mother; this unexpected pregnancy may have caused stress to
the mother (Joy) while she carried April. This was ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Bowlby pointed out that if children are not given accurate information about a death, they cannot
grieve appropriately. The family did not give April a chance to explore and express her grief over the
loss. These choices would impact her ego function. Since she could not make sense of the situation,
she could not modulate her affect and behavior in order to cope with the pain of loss. She
automatically and unconsciously used one of the most important ego functions defense mechanism to
cope with the trauma. She went into denial, which interfered with her reality testing.
She was told that her father went to heaven, which, to her, meant that he was in a distant place. As
Silverman, Nickman, and Worden (1992) stated, April, as other children typically display, developed
an inner construction of her father that assisted her in coping with her losses and with all of the
ensuing changes in her life. She even developed magic thinking : a fantasy that her father would return
as shown in the picture she drew of her father coming in and out of the house by using the ladder. But
with time passing, the reality of her father s absence becoming increasingly permanent was reinforced.
She could not always hold her sadness and fear as shown through her nightmares, crying, or
screaming. Sometimes, she regressed to earlier developmental stages, as manifested in her toddler like
behavior, for

Analysis Of The Movie Donnie Darko
Donnie Darko, set in 1988 in a small town, it was written and directed by Richard Kelly. Donnie
Darko was estimated a budget of $4.5million and ended up making $7.7million while it was only
filmed in 28 days and was released 280 days later. The film got nominated for many awards while also
winning many awards such as best screenplay, the audience award, the special award and the silver
screen award. Kelly s creation symbolises Alice in wonderland with the rabbit that guides Donnie
through this mad world. Kelly s movie is about being in two universes and time travelling from one to
one. The explanation of the movie heavily revolves around a book Donnie gets from his teacher, The
philosophy of time travel which is fictional.
Level 1
The film is about a young emotionally troubled teenager named Donnie Darko. A while before the
film is set he burned down a house and in result of that, he has to see a psychiatrist, Dr Thurman. One
morning a jet engine falls into Donnie s room which he accidentally avoids when he sleep walks
outside by following a voice in his head which he likes to call him Frank who is in fact a human being
dressed as a 6 foot tall rabbit. This is when Donnie has fallen into the tangent universe. The tangent
universe is a parallel universe which means it is doomed to end. Frank tells Donnie when the world
will end which is exactly 28 days, 6 hours, 42 minutes and 12 seconds. The other universe is the
primary universe where we live, you may even call it the

Speech Before Congress By Carrie Chapman Catt
Three Years after Speech before Congress was delivered by Carrie Chapman Catt, a well known leader
of the women s suffragist movement were women granted the right to vote and receive all rights as
citizens. Catt s speech was a major stepping stone for Congress to pass the 19th amendment. She was
able to deliver her speech in a manner, which was persuasive to congress because it encompassed all
the rhetorical appeals. Not only did she describe benefits to enfranchising women, she also spoke to
the patriotism of her audience to further her cause. Catt crafted her argument by presenting herself
with authority and knowledge, she also used undeniable logic by referring historical precedence, and
she evoked sympathy in her audience by describing the trials of disenfranchised women to create a
powerful argument. While speaking before Congress Catt knew her audience would be men that felt
an immense pride in their country, therefore she spoke to their patriotism. We women will be free to
support loyally the party of our choice, and we shall be far prouder of our history. (Catt 66) With that
statement, Catt wanted her audience to know, that women also felt great pride in their country.
However, to truly be a part of this great nation and be considered citizens would be an honor far
greater. There wasn t anything that would make women prouder than to be part of the decisions that
impact growth and development of this country. Catt wanted to reassure the men in Congress that

I strongly believe that children should come with an instruction manual in different languages, after
all, even the most complicated computer system or VCR has a manual in three to four languages, or
more. Granted, sometimes we can t understand the instructions, but we have them and sometimes even
a toll free help line. Now some people would say their own parent would be the help line but not
always does that work out. Our own parents advice can be, shall I say, out dated; for example, many
would suggest to us new parents to tell our child, what we say goes, or stop that crying or I ll give you

Frankly, the whole exchange of dialogue is exhausting and I have given in more times than I d like to.
I m sure that the lack of a Parenting Manual is not the reason for school uniform codes, but in my
household uniforms certainly would make mornings easier. School uniforms have a multitude of
rewards and benefits for both the parent and child and should be implemented in all elementary
schools. The rewards and benefits far outweigh any negative connotations that opposing adults have.
These benefits include: reduced headache and stress in the morning, reduced expense of clothing,
increased focus on academics in the classroom, increased building of team spirit among classmates,
and the, for lack of a better word, non discrimination on the popularity poll. I ll begin with exploring
the morning ritual and the reward a uniform has on this process. Critics opposed to uniforms would
say the solution to the miserable morning is to lay the clothes out at night, hence avoiding such
conflicts. This idea sounds good at the outset; however, it just creates conflicts at bedtime so I haven t
seen the advantages or solution to this nighttime ritual. On the other hand, the uniform idea poses
some great alternatives; first the choices are limited, usually to a few shirts, sweaters, or sweatshirts,
and one or two pairs of pants or shorts, and

Baby Sleep Research Paper
The Importance of Baby Sleep All living creatures need sleep. Sleeping gives people and all living
creatures the time for the body to recuperate and regenerate. Lion s needs 16 to 18 hours of sleep,
while primates, ten to twelve hours of sleep. Humans need on average six to eight hours sleep to
rejuvenate. Human babies need a full eight hours of sleep and naps in between. The body uses sleep as
a way to regenerate cells and refresh the brain and overall aids in the development of our body, mind,
and health. During our sleep, the human body can regenerate hair follicles, fingernails, toenails and
even the outer covering of the skin. This happens because of the automatic pilot that is built into our
bodies. People tend to think that

Southern Musical Tradition and the African Tradition
The second major tributary of the southern musical tradition comes from the African continent and is
the heritage import of the five million slaves brought to North America against their will to provide
the bulk of the labor in the pre industrial agrarian south. Contemporary blues, while not exclusively
black music by any means, remains largely black in terms of its leading performers and, to a lesser
extent, its listening audience.
The forerunner of the modern urban blues was, however, almost exclusively black and was completely
southern and rural. It was, and is, a music born out of the experience of slavery and Jim Crow
segregation ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
HISTORICAL DEVELOPMENT OF THE BLUES
The blues, both contemporary urban and earlier country blues, occupies a unique place in the
American folk tradition. It is a cultural product native to the United States, yet produced by a people
who have historically been systematically excluded from the mainstream of American institutional and
cultural life. The process by which it has earned a place in the folk tradition is, to a large degree,
microcosmic of the struggle of blacks to achieve legitimacy in American society and history.
The southern region, home to the vast majority of black Americans from
1619 to the post World War I era, gave rise to a unique set of institutional and interactional restrictions
and imperatives which resulted not merely in a bi racial society, but a dual society or, to use M.G.
Smith s (1957:763 777) terms, a plural society. Such a society is maintained by several structural
mechanisms which are designed to accomplish a high degree of enclosure within one s ethnic group,
such as endogamy, residential restrictions, institutional duplication, and highly restricted relations with
the dominant group (cf. Pierre van den Berghe,
1965). The tone of subordination domination was clearly

Examples Of Calpurnia In To Kill A Mockingbird
In the book To Kill a Mockingbird, Calpurnia can be described as respectful. For example, in chapter
1, Calpurnia and the kids are watching Mr. Radley leaving his house for the last time. There goes the
meanest man God ever blew breath into, murmured Calpurnia, and she spat meditatively into the yard.
We looked at her in surprise, for Calpurnia rarely commented on the ways of white people. Scout and
Jem looked at Calpurnia in surprise after she spoke about Mr. Radley, saying that she rarely
commented on the ways of white people. This shows that Calpurnia is respectful, since she holds back
from commenting about the horrible way white people treat black people, even though it s wrong. She
was most likely polite to Mr. Radley no matter how ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Scout notices that Calpurnia s voice seems strange . Then Calpurnia explains to them on why she
talked like that, and teaches them. I just wants to know why you bringin white chillun to our church.
They s my comp ny, said Calpurnia. Again I thought her voice strange: she was talking like the rest of
them... Suppose you and Scout talked colored folks talk at home it d be out of place, wouldn t it? Now
what if I talked white folks talk at church, and with my neighbors? They d think I was puttin on airs to
bear Moses. This shows that Calpurnia changes how she talks, she adapts herself to who she s with,
colored or not, to make them comfortable and not question how she talks, and to sound normal ,
according to what normal is to the people she s with. It is respectful because as she said, talking
colored folks at home would be out of place while talking white folks talk at church and with her
neighbors would also be out of place, so she is respectful of what people think is right. (Page 135 and

since she s there now, and Atticus defends her telling how Calpurnia is a faithful member of the family

Realism And Realist Approaches To International Relations
On the other hand, they also share similar qualities and characteristics. Both theories realize how our
world is more than capable of being a dangerous place and we should not assume we are safe at all
times. Military power is recognized as being important and pragmatic, and it is understood this power
can easily be abused, as much as it can be functional. Another common realization between idealist
and realist approaches is because there is no absolute government having power over all countries,
countries can essentially do whatever they want to each other, which includes inflicting terror, because
there really isn t anything stopping them.
While it is true the two approaches to international relations share some common beliefs, these beliefs
are greatly outweighed by their differences. Their fundamental beliefs about how the world should
function are in opposition, and they place varying levels of importance on power. Yes, military power
is seen as crucial for both but realists see the military as being the sole, relevant type of power, while
idealists see the opposite. They do not think military power is the most important type, and it even
takes a backseat to moral and economic powers. Another major difference is their view on total world
government. On one hand, idealism seeks to create a united world government, which would help
create peace around the globe. On the other hand, realism believes this would not be successful as it is
impossible to coerce all countries to cooperate and participate in this. Realists realize countries will be
primarily looking out for themselves, and unless it greatly benefitted them, would probably not do
something just to help out other countries.
The term anarchy is often associated with realism along with the concept of no international
government. When people hear the term, anarchy, a very negative and violent image most likely
comes to mind, but that is not what the realist approach represents. Realists argue the absence of a
common government simply pushes countries to be independent and to help themselves, it does not
fuel conflict or terror. Another difference between the two is who they think the states are concerned
about, and what they want. Idealists

Prejudice In America

as a society have learned to accept discrimination, prejudice, and stereotyping. These malefactors have

Nix et al developed an assay for this purpose in 2006 (Nix et al., 2006). This assay was able to detect
all EV serotypes spread across all 4 HEV species. In this study, more recently classified EV were
detected by this assay: EV99, EV102, and EV114. These are little described viruses with no clear
disease association. The epidemiology of EV in South Africa showed a general concordance with

How Does Vitamin D Improves The Plyometric Performance
Research Question: Does Vitamin D improves the plyometric performance in young basketball
athletes?
Part 1
A fat soluble vitamin D is an essential vitamin which works as precursor steroid in biological and
metabolic processes happening in human body (1). Deficiency of Vitamin D has shown a verity of
adverse psychological, skeletal and muscular health issues (2). Vitamin D deficiency rate has been
increased remarkably from year 1994 to 2004. There are many factors responsible for this like sun
avoidance sunblock use which are mostly evident in athletes, and other factors like increase in obesity
rates which causes sequestration of vitamin D (3). Deficiency of Vitamin D is linked with many
musculoskeletal systems related health issues. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
They came to conclusion that there is a significant co relationship between VO2max and 25(OH)D
(9). Vitamin D has also exigent effect on immune system, and inflammatory modulation, and it is also
essential for optimal muscle function, glucose metabolism, cardiovascular health and skeletal muscle
performance (10).
Part 3
Research has supported that maintained level of 25(OH)D in the range of 75 100 nmol/L and along
with other essential nutrients intake in proper amount like vitamin K is a key step for recovery as well
as performance (11). Supplemental vitamin D can improve recovery of force production following
intense activities and can also hinder the increasing biomarker which causes muscle damage (12).
After intense exercise, recovery in a peak isometric force can be enhanced by vitamin D
supplementation. The increased recovery in this isometric peak force provides information that
vitamin D is an essential modulating mechanism of weakness of muscle (12). All these studies prove
an interesting theme that vitamin D have potential effect on human metabolism and biological process

If you eat with your fingers does it show you discomfort? Do you feel disgusted? A woman who is
very distraught and very wise has an opinion on fingers and she thinks fingers are filthy (The Voyage
Out 50). Visualize an old, boney, gray skin woman using utensils to eat a fruit. A young, mischievous
man who tells the gruesome story of how he got away with murdering a German, with the terrifying
graphic detailing story he claimed with one blow it cut through his neck so deeply that his whole head
fell forward and dangled down onto his chest (Mdisho of Mwanumwezi 39). Envision this a man

Mdisho wanted to be a part of the war against the Germans and felt that they should strike first but
Dahl knew it would ve been dangerous for Mdisho to be included. Mdisho felt secluded away from
everyone else that he decided to go hunt down the German and decapitate his head off (Mdisho of
Mwanumwezi 39). Mdisho gave traumatizing details on how he slashed the German s head and how
his head fell to the ground like a coconut (Mdisho of Mwanumezi 39). Dahl made Mdisho believe this
lie where if Mdisho had told anybody what he had done to the civilian he will get punished by the
authorities (Mdisho of Mwanumezi 55). Roald describes Mdisho as a more adventurous person and
when Dahl describes Miss Trefusis his opinion on her is that she s odd and very intelligent and has no
mind like any other people do. Mdisho and Miss Trefusis are two different people with different
backgrounds but both of the characters are distinct, they re both odd to when Dahl describes them. In
conclusion, Mdisho and Miss Trefusis are very much different but in Roald s perspective he sees
Mdisho as a young, reckless, wild man who seems accomplished to every single thing he does. With,

Essay about Shakespeare’s Macbeth and Milton’s Satan of...
Shakespeare s Macbeth and Milton s Satan of Paradise Lost bear many similarities to each other. Both
characters possess diabolical ambitions to overthrow the natural order of their circumstances for the
lust for power. Both committed atrocious acts that led to others downfalls Macbeth committed
multiple acts of murder, and Satan vowed to corrupt humankind and did so with deceit. Both are
portrayed as complex characters with, in some cases, conflicted feelings about their evil doings. Aside
from these similarities, there are significant differences as well. For one thing, the incitation of both
characters evil doings differ. Macbeth, it could be argued, is a victim of fate, whereas Satan is

Satan s fall can be easily broken up into four steps: he came to think of himself too highly, putting
himself equal to God; he made a following for himself; he plotted a rebellion with his fellow rebel
angels; and he attempted to carry out the rebellion. His attempt to overthrow God and obtain power
was, however, futile and easily thwarted. Satan was severely demoted and he spent the rest of the plot
trying to pervert every good thing as if it would be to any avail to do so. He attempted to exert his own
powers over creation and tried to get a foothold so that he could gain more power. His extreme
arrogance led to his fall from grace. This is the same willfulness which lies behind his rebellious claim
in heaven that he is self begot ...What Satan the general refuses to give up here...is...individual glory,
which he pursues at all costs. (Loewenstein, 56 57). Considering that Satan was an angel in the
presence of God at the beginning, he had no excuse such as ignorance to claim. Satan s rebellion
began within himself with little else to prompt him. Satan had the ambition to raise a rebel force, but
army or no army, he surely would have thought himself more powerful than he ought have. His pride
also got in the way of him ever being restored to his former position. As part of his task of exculpating
God...Satan explains that even if he could repent and get back to heaven by act of grace , it would do

European Green Crabs
Degradation of the economy, environment and human health is caused by a variety of species.
However, the most harmful types of species are known as invasive species. An invasive species is any
species that is not native to the environment it is living in. European Green Crabs in particular cause
mass harm to their surrounding habitat. However, there are several methods put in place to control the
widespread of these creatures and minimize the harm caused by European green crabs. The European
green crab can spread accidentally and then stay and cause harm to their new surroundings. Although
these green crabs can cause serious harm, there are multiple measures in place to minimize the degree
of harm. Confirmation of European green crabs in Canada ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Eelgrass beds in particular are being harmed where European green crabs are abundant, because they
are the primary habitats for this invasive species. The European green crabs invade these eel grass
beds when they are searching for prey in the matter that has settled at the bottom of the water or
excavating to make burrows, this is done by cutting the roots of the eelgrass, which destroys this
ecological habitat. European green crabs have preyed on various marine life such as species of
mollusks, crustaceans and fish. The primary species that European green crabs prey upon being
shellfish. Shellfish (oyster, clam and scallops) being their primary source of nutrition (GOV, 2016) is
an issue because they then create competition for food amongst other species such as lobster and crabs
which are native to the habitat the European green crab has invaded. Their secondary source of
nutrition comes from crustaceans such as crab, crayfish, lobster, prawns or shrimp. Additionally,
Studies have shown that European green crabs will prey upon Dungeness crabs of equal or lesser size
(Peters et al. 2004). This means that European green crabs are capable of displacing other crabs in the
competition for space, food and habitat. Recently, a study was conducted which showed a 40% drop in
Manila clam harvest since the European green crabs arrival in North America (pleus, 2017). Carcinus

Longing For Love
A Comparative Essay By Jack Ettlinger
In the song I Just Haven t Met You Yet (IJHMYY) written and composed by Michael Buble, themes
such as love, optimism, and loneliness are all are evident. These themes are also found in the song
Love Song For No One (LSFNO), written and composed by John Mayer, but optimism is replaced by
pessimism. Both of these songs are about a man longing for love; however, in the first, the man is
optimistic and hopeful, while in the second he is getting anxious and a little doubtful. The way that the
themes are portrayed are both similar and different in that they are about love, optimism/pessimism
and ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Mayer says that he has been, searching all my days just to find you not sure who I m looking for, and
the listener feels his exhaustion, sadness and most of all, his loneliness.
In his song, Michael Buble is clearly lonely, but his loneliness in motivating him to persevere in his
life, and to find the one that will complete him. The lyric I know someday that it ll all turn out, you ll
make me work, so we can work to work it out shows this. He knows that the love of his life is out
there and that she is coming, and therefore his loneliness feels temporary. There is, in his mind, an end
in sight. He understands that he has to be patient: I might have to wait, I ll never give up, I guess it s
half timing and the other half s luck. Buble trusts that love is coming for him. He knows he won t have
to be lonely for too long.
The songs, I Just Haven t Met you Yet, and Love Song For No One both focus on the theme of love,
and at first glance, can be perceived as very similar. But by dissecting the lyrics and looking more
closely at the undertones and messages of both songs, we find that they are actually almost opposite in
their approach to the mystery of love.
As an ending note, John Mayer is still girlfriend less, while, as a true example of life imitating art,
Michael Buble is engaged to the beautiful model who played the girl of his dreams in the video for his
hit song. I guess he really did meet her after all.

Impact Of Tidal Energy On The Earth
Tides and currents have existed since before the dawn of man. While the rotation and gravitational
forces of the earth act to keep our ocean levels steady, that equilibrium is disrupted by the moon and
the sun. The gravitational pull of both the sun and the moon cause the oceans to bulge, and as this
bulge moves around the planet, the tides occur. Furthermore, the moon, although significantly smaller
than the sun, has a far greater affect on the tides due to its relatively small distance from the earth. In
addition, the tides also vary in intensity based on the alignment of the sun, the moon, and the earth.
When aligned, a higher than normal, lunar high tide occurs. But why are these flows relevant to
renewable energy? They are important because that tidal energy can be harnessed for use as a power
source. Tidal power, like other renewable energy sources, is inexhaustible. In addition, there is a major
advantage over other clean energies, in that tidal energy is very predictable. For example, there are not
any wind charts telling what time of day the winds will be optimal but there are charts of the tides.
Therefore, by taking advantage of this resource, your community could work towards being energy
independent and self sustaining. Moreover, there could be an opportunity to use any excess power
generated as an income source. There are three ways to harness the power of the tides; tidal barrages,
tidal lagoons, and tidal streams. The first, barrages, make use of the

The Cons And Disadvantages And Disadvantages Of Fiat Money

First of all, the disadvantages of fiat money are circulation of paper money is only limited to the
country that issuing it. As for international settlements, fiat money cannot be used. Therefore, the
value depends on the accidents of a limited area. Fiat money is more subject to fluctuation than that of
metallic money. As compare to the metallic money or gold, the gold is accepted internationally by all
the country. The gold is steadied by the equalizing tendencies of parts of a broad area. As a result,
metallic money or gold is better as it is accepted internationally comparing to the fiat money.
Moreover, the disadvantage of fiat money is that it has less stability of value. Fiat money has only one
usage which is namely the monetary use. The demand for money is not stable and changes all the
time. The demand for the fiat money depends on the value of the money at the time. As compare to the
metals, it has an equal and greater use in arts in which the demand is steady. The social usages of it
just changed slowly and demand it in utensils also shift very little. As a conclusion, the demand for the
metal is therefore more stabilized in wider basis compare to the demand for the fiat

For the first three days, little pH change is observed, this is due to Leuconostoc mesenteriodes that is
changing substrate to anaerobic condition, but not producing lactic acids (Mheen and Kwon 1984). In

The Importance Of Leadership In Early Care And Education
The American public places insurmountable trust with people who represent positions of
powers and authority over their children. Such as teachers providing instruction, the doctor who
delivers medical care, the minister who offers ecclesiastic advice, and the therapist who
counsels. However, when those in power and authority breach the trust through acts of
negligence, inappropriate behavior involving young children, and failure to employ quality
education due to socioeconomic status, is an act of betrayal to children and the profession they
represent. In the article, Making a Difference: Leadership in Early Care and Education Policy, early
care and education is a hot policy issue. Therefore, the findings of researchers Gormley, Gayer,
Dawson (2004), study of improvement of cognitive and language skills of minority and disadvantaged
four year olds in a state funded prekindergarten program in Tulsa, Oklahoma, clarifies the demand of
high quality early childhood programs. As policy and research expands on the development of high

Consequently, the frequency of this type of educator misconduct behavior forced the Florida

  • 2. Qualitative Research Study And Action Research For this qualitative study the researchers chose a retailer of prescription eyewear, and prescription sunglasses positioned in a busy area of Surprise. The main street was closed off due to heavy construction, however, the parking lot was full. The business was positioned in a small strip mall between a real estate office, fast food restaurant, and yogurt shop. There were many patrons of various cultures and ages. They were entering and leaving the surrounding shops including the business setting we chose for observation. There were a lot more businesses, shops, fast food restaurant in walking distance allowing us opportunities to observe people interact with each other. Qualitative research focuses on gaining insight and understanding about an individual s perception of events (Nieswiadomy, 2012). There are six common qualitative designs: phenomenological, ethnographic, grounded theory, historical, case study, and action research. Phenomenological studies are based on human lived experiences and what the experience means to the person being studied. The researcher has to put aside their own personal ideas or belief systems in order for them to be able to concentrate on the person in the study. Ethnographic studies which was used in this study, the researchers went in to the field to observe people of various cultures and ethnicities interacting together in their own environment. Ethnographers study how people live and how they communicate with each other ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 4. Fast Food Industry in U.S HTM 421 Professor Johnson 03/06/2012 Fast Food Industry in U.S A variety of different regulations have been set for people that are concerned with tobacco either on a personal level or commercially. Tobacco is associated with damages and thus it has been attacked by medical authorities and social observers. The fast food industry is no exception since it has also contributed to different damages to people s health. Obesity is just one of the many ailments caused by fast food joints. FDA has made sure that regulations are set and implemented to protect people from damages that tobacco cause. FDA and Tobacco Regulation have some policies that prevent the families from smoking (McGrew, 2008). There is a control act for Tobacco ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The public have claimed that some fast food industries have engaged in advertising that is deceiving, low quality sales and promotions. Fast food has also been accused of producing food that is unreasonably unsafe, and lacking to inform customers on the dangers of these products. There is a rising level of obesity in the world today and the cause is found in the way our food is being grown, processed and packaged (Brownell, 2009). Fast food industry should adapt the marketing and the tactics in lobbying that are used by the tobacco industries. The tobacco industry used legal, political and business strategies tactic due to the concern that the industry had to the public health. Fast foods should employ these same regulations that the tobacco giants employed. The public should be informed about the link that exists between various fast food products and diseases. The doubts that the public has regarding to fast food products should be cleared through intensive marketing especially to the target consumers and in the fast food case it s the children, adolescents and young adults. Just like tobacco is addictive fast foods can also cause an addiction especially to people who dislike cooking at home or mostly live alone in their homes. • 5. How Dopamine Works Human Body How Dopamine works in Human Body 1. Dopamine 2. Drugs 3. Dopamine Deficiency 4. Dopamine Treatments Introduction Pleasure, happiness, love, excitation, motivation, pain, anxiety, sad, anger, and all emotional feelings related to human being are linked to the chemicals and hormones that reach to the brain. The human body needs to function properly using the chemicals, hormones and fluids to be found in balance. This state of being balanced is called homeostasis . If one or more of these chemicals fall out of balance from either an increase or a decrease in their levels, this may cause the systems of the body to work less efficiently. Moreover, chemical imbalances can occur for a number of reasons and may affect the body in a variety of ways. There are many internal and external factors that cause chemical imbalance in human body as well human brain. • 6. An Analysis Of An Opera By Georges Bizet Carmen is an opera by Georges Bizet that adeptly portrays the story of the same title by Prosper Mérimée. It is most well known for its two arias, Habanera and the Toreador Song. Through the music, Bizet conveys many feelings through the portrayal the common man rather than the aristocrats, which was revolutionary in the operatic world. Despite being composed in the Romantic era, the subject matter of the opera is more similar to the Realist movement of the 19th century. Since the beginning of his life, Bizet showed precocious ability in music and at the age of 10 was admitted to the [Paris Conservatory of Music] ( Georges Bizet ). He continued to refine his musical talent and ended up winning the Prix de Rome, which allowed him to spend ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The use of chromaticism in his music demonstrates mastery of compositional techniques. Besides this, Bizet s dedication to learning all the techniques of Spanish music is incredible. According to one source, Bizet had gone to some lengths to familiarize himself with the musical sounds and forms of the region in which Carmen is set, and several of the best known portions use rhythms he learned from those studies (Schwarm). This dedication allowed Bizet to master the Spanish Habanera dance despite never having gone to Spain, helping to make it one of the most well known pieces in operatic history. His mastery of musical techniques and his dedication to his music allowed him to compose Carmen and refine it into a masterpiece. In addition to the imaginative techniques, the plot of Carmen is revolutionary. Unlike other operas of its time, it focuses on the lower class. Carmen is known for its defiantly sexual leading female character and its non heroic portrayal of a wide slice of society ( Bizet, Georges ). As well as this, the undeniable realism of the portrayal of the gypsies, smugglers, and factory workers was not well received (Schwarm). This innovation, although originally not well received, helped it become one of the five most performed operas in the world. Because opera in that time generally tendered to the nobility and the sophisticated, having the focus being on the lower class did not end up well. ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 7. Case analysis from ego psychology perspectives Essay Introduction This paper, divided into two parts, is intended to understand April s case in a thoughtfully eclectic way from a social work perspective by applying human behavior theories. The first part shows the use of Ego Psychology to illustrate how loss from April s father s death interrupted her development by disrupting her ego function. The second part shows the assessment of April s biological, psychological, and social emotional development, the ecological factors which affected her development, and the cultural stereotype expectation on normal development. Question One: April s arrival was not expected by her mother; this unexpected pregnancy may have caused stress to the mother (Joy) while she carried April. This was ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Bowlby pointed out that if children are not given accurate information about a death, they cannot grieve appropriately. The family did not give April a chance to explore and express her grief over the loss. These choices would impact her ego function. Since she could not make sense of the situation, she could not modulate her affect and behavior in order to cope with the pain of loss. She automatically and unconsciously used one of the most important ego functions defense mechanism to cope with the trauma. She went into denial, which interfered with her reality testing. She was told that her father went to heaven, which, to her, meant that he was in a distant place. As Silverman, Nickman, and Worden (1992) stated, April, as other children typically display, developed an inner construction of her father that assisted her in coping with her losses and with all of the ensuing changes in her life. She even developed magic thinking : a fantasy that her father would return as shown in the picture she drew of her father coming in and out of the house by using the ladder. But with time passing, the reality of her father s absence becoming increasingly permanent was reinforced. She could not always hold her sadness and fear as shown through her nightmares, crying, or screaming. Sometimes, she regressed to earlier developmental stages, as manifested in her toddler like behavior, for ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The film got nominated for many awards while also winning many awards such as best screenplay, the audience award, the special award and the silver screen award. Kelly s creation symbolises Alice in wonderland with the rabbit that guides Donnie through this mad world. Kelly s movie is about being in two universes and time travelling from one to one. The explanation of the movie heavily revolves around a book Donnie gets from his teacher, The philosophy of time travel which is fictional. • 9. Speech Before Congress By Carrie Chapman Catt Three Years after Speech before Congress was delivered by Carrie Chapman Catt, a well known leader of the women s suffragist movement were women granted the right to vote and receive all rights as citizens. Catt s speech was a major stepping stone for Congress to pass the 19th amendment. She was able to deliver her speech in a manner, which was persuasive to congress because it encompassed all the rhetorical appeals. Not only did she describe benefits to enfranchising women, she also spoke to the patriotism of her audience to further her cause. Catt crafted her argument by presenting herself with authority and knowledge, she also used undeniable logic by referring historical precedence, and she evoked sympathy in her audience by describing the trials of disenfranchised women to create a powerful argument. While speaking before Congress Catt knew her audience would be men that felt an immense pride in their country, therefore she spoke to their patriotism. We women will be free to support loyally the party of our choice, and we shall be far prouder of our history. (Catt 66) With that statement, Catt wanted her audience to know, that women also felt great pride in their country. However, to truly be a part of this great nation and be considered citizens would be an honor far greater. There wasn t anything that would make women prouder than to be part of the decisions that impact growth and development of this country. Catt wanted to reassure the men in Congress that women ... • 10. School Clothes Essay School Clothes I strongly believe that children should come with an instruction manual in different languages, after all, even the most complicated computer system or VCR has a manual in three to four languages, or more. Granted, sometimes we can t understand the instructions, but we have them and sometimes even a toll free help line. Now some people would say their own parent would be the help line but not always does that work out. Our own parents advice can be, shall I say, out dated; for example, many would suggest to us new parents to tell our child, what we say goes, or stop that crying or I ll give you something to cry about, or do it because I m the parent and I said so, not the desired tone for positive interaction ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Frankly, the whole exchange of dialogue is exhausting and I have given in more times than I d like to. I m sure that the lack of a Parenting Manual is not the reason for school uniform codes, but in my household uniforms certainly would make mornings easier. School uniforms have a multitude of rewards and benefits for both the parent and child and should be implemented in all elementary schools. The rewards and benefits far outweigh any negative connotations that opposing adults have. These benefits include: reduced headache and stress in the morning, reduced expense of clothing, increased focus on academics in the classroom, increased building of team spirit among classmates, and the, for lack of a better word, non discrimination on the popularity poll. I ll begin with exploring the morning ritual and the reward a uniform has on this process. Critics opposed to uniforms would say the solution to the miserable morning is to lay the clothes out at night, hence avoiding such conflicts. This idea sounds good at the outset; however, it just creates conflicts at bedtime so I haven t seen the advantages or solution to this nighttime ritual. On the other hand, the uniform idea poses some great alternatives; first the choices are limited, usually to a few shirts, sweaters, or sweatshirts, and one or two pairs of pants or shorts, and ... Lion s needs 16 to 18 hours of sleep, while primates, ten to twelve hours of sleep. Humans need on average six to eight hours sleep to rejuvenate. Human babies need a full eight hours of sleep and naps in between. The body uses sleep as a way to regenerate cells and refresh the brain and overall aids in the development of our body, mind, and health. During our sleep, the human body can regenerate hair follicles, fingernails, toenails and even the outer covering of the skin. • 12. Essay on Southern Musical Tradition and the African... Southern Musical Tradition and the African Tradition The second major tributary of the southern musical tradition comes from the African continent and is the heritage import of the five million slaves brought to North America against their will to provide the bulk of the labor in the pre industrial agrarian south. Contemporary blues, while not exclusively black music by any means, remains largely black in terms of its leading performers and, to a lesser extent, its listening audience. The forerunner of the modern urban blues was, however, almost exclusively black and was completely southern and rural. It was, and is, a music born out of the experience of slavery and Jim Crow segregation ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... HISTORICAL DEVELOPMENT OF THE BLUES The blues, both contemporary urban and earlier country blues, occupies a unique place in the American folk tradition. It is a cultural product native to the United States, yet produced by a people who have historically been systematically excluded from the mainstream of American institutional and cultural life. The process by which it has earned a place in the folk tradition is, to a large degree, microcosmic of the struggle of blacks to achieve legitimacy in American society and history. The southern region, home to the vast majority of black Americans from 1619 to the post World War I era, gave rise to a unique set of institutional and interactional restrictions and imperatives which resulted not merely in a bi racial society, but a dual society or, to use M.G. Smith s (1957:763 777) terms, a plural society. Such a society is maintained by several structural mechanisms which are designed to accomplish a high degree of enclosure within one s ethnic group, such as endogamy, residential restrictions, institutional duplication, and highly restricted relations with the dominant group (cf. Pierre van den Berghe, 1965). The tone of subordination domination was clearly ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 13. Examples Of Calpurnia In To Kill A Mockingbird In the book To Kill a Mockingbird, Calpurnia can be described as respectful. For example, in chapter 1, Calpurnia and the kids are watching Mr. Radley leaving his house for the last time. There goes the meanest man God ever blew breath into, murmured Calpurnia, and she spat meditatively into the yard. We looked at her in surprise, for Calpurnia rarely commented on the ways of white people. Scout and Jem looked at Calpurnia in surprise after she spoke about Mr. Radley, saying that she rarely commented on the ways of white people. This shows that Calpurnia is respectful, since she holds back from commenting about the horrible way white people treat black people, even though it s wrong. Now what if I talked white folks talk at church, and with my neighbors? They d think I was puttin on airs to bear Moses. This shows that Calpurnia changes how she talks, she adapts herself to who she s with, colored or not, to make them comfortable and not question how she talks, and to sound normal , according to what normal is to the people she s with. It is respectful because as she said, talking colored folks at home would be out of place while talking white folks talk at church and with her neighbors would also be out of place, so she is respectful of what people think is right. The team took some time to see there options and they decided to stay inside the organization and hired assistant general manger Don Sweeney to steer the ship. • 15. Realism And Realist Approaches To International Relations On the other hand, they also share similar qualities and characteristics. Both theories realize how our world is more than capable of being a dangerous place and we should not assume we are safe at all times. Military power is recognized as being important and pragmatic, and it is understood this power can easily be abused, as much as it can be functional. Another common realization between idealist and realist approaches is because there is no absolute government having power over all countries, countries can essentially do whatever they want to each other, which includes inflicting terror, because there really isn t anything stopping them. While it is true the two approaches to international relations share some common beliefs, these beliefs are greatly outweighed by their differences. Their fundamental beliefs about how the world should function are in opposition, and they place varying levels of importance on power. Yes, military power is seen as crucial for both but realists see the military as being the sole, relevant type of power, while idealists see the opposite. They do not think military power is the most important type, and it even takes a backseat to moral and economic powers. Another major difference is their view on total world government. On one hand, idealism seeks to create a united world government, which would help create peace around the globe. On the other hand, realism believes this would not be successful as it is impossible to coerce all countries to cooperate and participate in this. Realists realize countries will be primarily looking out for themselves, and unless it greatly benefitted them, would probably not do something just to help out other countries. The term anarchy is often associated with realism along with the concept of no international government. When people hear the term, anarchy, a very negative and violent image most likely comes to mind, but that is not what the realist approach represents. Realists argue the absence of a common government simply pushes countries to be independent and to help themselves, it does not fuel conflict or terror. Another difference between the two is who they think the states are concerned about, and what they want. Idealists ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The advantage of the simplex, is that it is more robust and more sensitive that multiplex PCRs due to the nature of few primers and probes in the assay. The disadvantage is that the sequencing assay to be based on these results needs to then amplify all EV, instead of more specifically a species per assay. Nix et al developed an assay for this purpose in 2006 (Nix et al., 2006). This assay was able to detect all EV serotypes spread across all 4 HEV species. In this study, more recently classified EV were detected by this assay: EV99, EV102, and EV114. These are little described viruses with no clear disease association. The epidemiology of EV in South Africa showed a general concordance with other studies (Benschop et al., 2010, Apostol et al., 2012, Dhole et al., 2009). Part 3 Research has supported that maintained level of 25(OH)D in the range of 75 100 nmol/L and along with other essential nutrients intake in proper amount like vitamin K is a key step for recovery as well as performance (11). Supplemental vitamin D can improve recovery of force production following intense activities and can also hinder the increasing biomarker which causes muscle damage (12). After intense exercise, recovery in a peak isometric force can be enhanced by vitamin D supplementation. The increased recovery in this isometric peak force provides information that vitamin D is an essential modulating mechanism of weakness of muscle (12). European green crabs have preyed on various marine life such as species of mollusks, crustaceans and fish. The primary species that European green crabs prey upon being shellfish. Shellfish (oyster, clam and scallops) being their primary source of nutrition (GOV, 2016) is an issue because they then create competition for food amongst other species such as lobster and crabs which are native to the habitat the European green crab has invaded. The lyric I know someday that it ll all turn out, you ll make me work, so we can work to work it out shows this. The songs, I Just Haven t Met you Yet, and Love Song For No One both focus on the theme of love, and at first glance, can be perceived as very similar. • 32. Impact Of Tidal Energy On The Earth Tides and currents have existed since before the dawn of man. While the rotation and gravitational forces of the earth act to keep our ocean levels steady, that equilibrium is disrupted by the moon and the sun. The gravitational pull of both the sun and the moon cause the oceans to bulge, and as this bulge moves around the planet, the tides occur. Furthermore, the moon, although significantly smaller than the sun, has a far greater affect on the tides due to its relatively small distance from the earth. In addition, the tides also vary in intensity based on the alignment of the sun, the moon, and the earth. When aligned, a higher than normal, lunar high tide occurs. But why are these flows relevant to renewable energy? They are important because that tidal energy can be harnessed for use as a power source. Tidal power, like other renewable energy sources, is inexhaustible. In addition, there is a major advantage over other clean energies, in that tidal energy is very predictable. For example, there are not any wind charts telling what time of day the winds will be optimal but there are charts of the tides. Therefore, by taking advantage of this resource, your community could work towards being energy independent and self sustaining. Moreover, there could be an opportunity to use any excess power generated as an income source. There are three ways to harness the power of the tides; tidal barrages, tidal lagoons, and tidal streams. The first, barrages, make use of the ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
