Creationism and Intelligent Design theories should be taught in public schools with evolution. The
idea that students should hear both sides of the evolution debate enjoys widespread popular
support. An opinion poll from the Pew Forum on Religion in Public Life revealed that nearly two
thirds of Americans believe that creationism, in some form, should be taught alongside evolution
(Warnick, 2009, p. 305). Creation and Intelligent Design theories should be taught in public

vulgare, naturally prefers: wet or dry environments along with a light or dark environment. It was
hypothesized that a Pill bug would prefer and wet and dark environment based on its natural
habitat of soil. For the wet and dry experiment, a coffee filter and soil were placed in each chamber
of a double petri dish with one being dampened before being placed in. For the light and dry
experiment a light was hung above one chamber of another double chambered petri dish while the

They later had two sons, John Coolidge, and Calvin Jr. Coolidge, who he loved dearly
(Greenburg, 22). In 1924, Calvin Jr. had a simple accident in tennis and got a simple blister
which slowly became infected. He was rushed to the hospital, but a day later he had died. Calvin
Jr. had died at the age of sixteen. It was at this time when people saw Coolidge as a father not the

There are four different relationships portrayed in this writing. There is the granddaughter and

The Effect of Color on Testing Results Introduction Our experiment focused on testing scores.
We wanted to see whether the color of ink that was used on a test would affect a student s
performance on that test. We chose to conduct this experiment in the Sterling C. Evans Library to
get a wide variety of students to take the tests since it is the largest and most central library on
campus. We felt that this way the best way to attempt to limit the other variables that could affect
our results. Our hypothesis was that red ink would cause that student to do more poorly on the test
than the student would have done on a test with black ink. Our theory was that red ink would
remind students of wrong answers on previous assignments and create a feeling of stress and
anxiety. We attempted to answer this question by giving students of various genders, majors, and
ages a test of medium difficulty in red and black ink and analyzing the data to find out if their
scores correlated with the ink color. In order to determine whether there was a correlation between
ink colors and test scores, we measured the students number of wrong answers on the test, time
taken on the test, stress level, age, classification, gender, GPA, and college. We chose these
measures because they yielded numerical values that could be statistically assessed, and they
