Most Common Problems In A Utopian Society
In a utopian society, everyone is treated equal, but in our world utopias never last long. There are
many problems in a utopian society. To begin, the most common problem is people disagreeing. Up
next, you have the problem of them not having enough food, and they need outside funding. Final
say, there is modern technology, without modern technology, it would be even harder for them.
Utopias are very short lived because of these problems. First, The most devastating problem in a
utopian society is that they will disagree on rules, food, and housing. In the beginning article, it

Grapes Of Wrath Controversy
In the 1930s, the dust bowl destroyed the lives of many farmers in the American Plains. It brought
the hottest and driest air, which, along with the lack of rain, caused a horrific drought in this part
of America. The Grapes of Wrath is the best movie that depicts really clearly the society in the

Age Of Cheese Research Paper
What effect does the type of cheese have on mold growth? Cheese is an important ingredient which
many families across North America use in their foods to add a tasteful kick. It contains many
proteins, vitamins and minerals which are essential for growing children and many elderly. Cheese
comes in various shapes and sizes, such as Camembert, Roquefort, Mozzarella, and many more.
However, it turns out that not only humans like to consume it, but bacteriasuch as fungi, can
develop on cheese and cause it to decay and putrefy. Mold is a fungus that grows in the form of
multicellular filaments called hyphae. Spores are the single celled reproductive unit within
bacteria, fungi, and algae colonies which can rapidly help the mold extend a greater distance on
a surface. The growth of hyphae on a surface can cause a spoiled appearance with discoloration
on foods for instance, the most common colors that appear on food as a result of mold growth are
blue, black or green. Mold can grow on various surfaces due to... Show more content on

Mental Illnesses In The 1800s
During the 1800s, treating individuals with psychological issues was a problematic and disturbing
issue. Society didn t understand mental illness very well, so the mentally ill individuals were sent
to asylums primarily to get them off the streets. Patients in asylums were usually subjected to
conditions that today we would consider horrific and inhumane due to the lack of knowledge on
mental illnesses.
In Bly s time, mental illnesses were not taken seriously. Bly described the asylum she was admitted
to as overcrowded, cold, and dirty (ch. 7). It defeated the purpose of trying to give extra attention to
those in need. It was easy to get admitted into an institution, but nearly impossible to make it out
because the treatment was not treatment. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Nurses are very kind and respectful. They assist patients with their showers and provide them with
additional care if needed. Most of the time, patients are allowed to wear their own clothes. Food is
much like hospital food, which consists of 2 entrees with a choice of salad, sandwich, and dessert
bar. As for activities and daily schedules, patients are given the opportunity to paint, color, and
exercise during their free time. Within business hours of the day most patients attend therapeutic
sessions with educated therapists. Overall, Conditions in asylums today are drastically different
than asylums in the 1800s due to the better understanding of mental illnesses. As time goes on and
technology advances, society will continue to advance in it s knowledge of mental

Methadone is a commonly used opioid to relieve pain in both veterinary and human medicine. To
help develop appropriate pain management practices and to develop a quantitative model for
predicting methadone dosimetry in plasma and specific tissues, a flow limited multi route
physiologically based pharmacokinetic (PBPK) model for methadone in dogs constructed with
Berkeley MadonnaTM was developed, specifically examining the Beagle and Greyhound breeds.
The model accounts for intravenous (IV), subcutaneous (SC), and oral administrations, and
compartmentalizes the body into components of venous blood, arterial blood, muscle, lung, brain,
heart, liver, GI tract, kidney, and rest of body. This model was calibrated from plasma

Lead Poisoning Research Paper
Heavy metal poisoning is nothing new. It has been known for centuries that some heavy metal
compounds are quite toxic to people. A particularly infamous and widely known heavy metal is
lead. Lead has been a particular useful element in early human history. It saw many uses from
making jewelry to the height of its use in the ancient world as Roman plumbing. Most people
would shudder at the thought of drinking water from lead pipes with all the hysteria associated
with lead; however, lead pipes or more commonly lead solder are still around today though mainly
in outdated water lines that have been grandfathered. Oddly enough, the Romans were actually
aware of the toxic properties of lead. Lead workers were even described as being notoriously...

It rather is becoming a problem due to pollution. A recent and highly publicized lead poisoning
case was that of Flint, Michigan s water supply. Lead poisoning in the U.S. is generally caused by
contaminated water. Lead in the public water supply is generally due to absorption from lead pipes
or solder. Absorption of lead into water has been found proportional to the temperature of the water.
Unsurprisingly, the warmer the water, the higher the lead concentration; however, the change in
lead concentration compared to the temperature shift is quite surprising. Ж Between 10 and 23
degrees Celsius, it has been shown that a 1 degree shift in temperature can change the dissolved
lead concentration by 5 percent. О” Another factor which impacts the amount of dissolved lead in

30 Year Mortgage
Making the choice to apply for a mortgage is a huge decision. However, there is no scarcity of
decisions to be made when applying for one. You must decide which lender you are going to pick
and determine whether a fixed or an adjustable rate will suit you best. And then you are compelled
to make the biggest decision of all. Paying a 30 year mortgage loanis quintessential, however, this
standard mortgagelength is not written in stone. You can choose to pay off your mortgage sooner
with a 15 year loan.
Choosing a 15 year mortgage loan over a 30 year mortgage loan has several benefits. One benefit of
choosing a 15 year term is being able to pay off your home loan quickly. This option is perfect for
those who do not want to pay a mortgage for ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
By paying an extra $100 each month, you can reduce the amount of interest you pay by $22,816.95
leaving the lifetime of the loan at $114,799.44 in interest.
That being said, if you wanted to make extra payments on the 30 year mortgage loan and pay it
off like a 15 year loan, you would have to do it diligently because the interest rates are higher and
you could mess it up if you don t pay the difference religiously. However, if money gets tight, then
you don t have to make that extra payment if you cannot afford it. Compared to the 15 year loan,
you must always pay a higher monthly payment whether you want to or not, but your interest rates
are lower.
In conclusion, making the decision between a 15 year mortgage and a 30 year mortgage is a
major decision that will have long lasting effect on your financial situation. Going over your
finances before choosing a term is crucial. If you are wanting to pay off your mortgage before
retiring, it would be wise to go over your finances to see if your income can support higher
payments. If you are a first time home buyer, looking at every aspect such as how much of
disposable income and personal savings you have should be taken into consideration. Having a 15
year mortgage can take a significant chunk of your income and if you do not have the means to
support that, it is likely in your best interest to skip the faster route and stick with the 30 year

Sports Impact On Sports
After less than 30 minutes of play the under 20 Chinese national football team vacated the pitch in
protest, signaling an early end to the first in a series of 16 friendly matches. The unfurling of four
Tibetan flags, and accompanying free Tibet chant, were provocations manager Sun Jihai could not
ignore. Had he done so, the incident would have merited little more than a paragraph on an
otherwise ordinary fourth division game. Instead, the demonstration, as well as future game plans,

It is doubtful the protesters knew just how impactive and successful their act would become.
The incident took on heightened international significance when Chinese Foreign Ministry
spokesman Lu Kang made note of the game during a press briefing. We are firmly opposed to any

their editorial citing FIFA regulations restricting political banners at games. China s national junior
team handled themselves correctly, demanding that German authorities take action against the flag

The Ethical Aspects Of Walmart And Tesco
Evaluation and comparison of Walmart and Tesco in the ethical aspects According to Loria M.
(2009) when Sam Walton founded Walmart in 1962, his mission was to save people money so
they could live better. This itself creates tremendous social good. The company is committed to
engaging all their stakeholder to become the most responsible and sustainable company they can
be. By listening and partnering to their associates, shareholders, customers, government and NGO
s they claim to save customers money for good. Like some its peers, Tesco also aims to improve

Tesco (cornerback5, 2011). By this approach, Walmart can remain profitable against their
competitors. However, this strategy of success is directing many of its employee (especially
ones with kids) directly to poverty. Walmart has the social responsibility to increase its profits
and placing employment poverty away from their objective according to a prominent American
economist, Milton Friedman. With this Walmart has the rights by making it their top priority to
funnel all their efforts towards increasing the prosperity of its shareholder but sacrificing their
employee s share. The problem is, although Wal Mart is able to substantively gain from this
decision to pay their workers this way, numerous number of its employees are being forced to
live in poverty as a result. This does not seem to be ethical in terms of utilitarianism where Wal
Mart s decision to exploit their employee s low wages is morally wrong because it does not

The Reflection Of My Writing On Technology And Technology
Most of the time when I am writing a paper, I do not have a choice on what I am writing. But
when I do get to choose my topic, then I can write about something that I enjoy and feel passionate
about. In my experience with writing, I have chosen many topics. But most of them I probably did
not enjoy writingabout that particular topic. There are very few papers that I have written where I
really enjoyed writing. But the paper that I am going to talk about was different for me because I
wanted people to understand my point of view on the subject. And so, I felt compelled to write
about the topic that I chose for this particular essaythat I wrote in 9th grade. It is about technology,
and its role and effect on society.
The paper I wrote on technology was an essay. Like most essays, it had 5 paragraphs. An
introduction paragraph, three body paragraphs, and a conclusion paragraph. My teacher also had
me write an outline to the essay, to help me stay organized in my thoughts. In the introduction
paragraph I summarize my main points. I chose three points about technology that I would mention
in each of the body paragraphs. In my first body paragraph, I talk about how technology has
affected education and the way people can learn. In my second body paragraph, I talk about how
technology has changed the way we communicate with people. And in the third paragraph, I talk
about how technology has changed the way we entertain ourselves.
I chose to write about technology partially because at the time that I was writing that essay, a
close family member in my household was experiencing health issues when they were around
technology. And so I had to live with very little to no technology for about a year. And that
probably sounds like I was living in a different time era, and sometimes it felt like that. It was
really a drastic time for me and my family. Because in this world, technology is used for
everything. And so we had to adapt to not being with it when we were home. It was a really
different experience. But it happened for a reason. And I learned how to live without constant
technology.
Technology has changed education for the better. People have so much knowledge at their
fingertips when they can access

Rise Of American Feudalism
Feudalism was the predominant way of life before capitalism. During the feudal era, everyone
lived life according to the privileges and obligations that were associated with their social
standing. The interest of everyone one the manor was to please a higher lord s: vassals sought
to pay their debts and lords would provide residents of the manor with the means of subsistence
in exchange for their labor. On a manor, there was no currency; all obligations were paid in kind
or were done to repay someone else for their service. In a capitalist society, the goal of the
individual is to acquire as much wealth for himself. He is only interested in gaining moneyfor his
interest as opposed to paying obligatory debts like in feudalism. After the change... Show more

With the rise of capitalism and the spread of money into rural areas, vassals began to commodity
their labor, and lords began to commodity their land. Commodifying land and labor allowed lords
and vassals to receive more cash on a regular basis, yet the payments they received were still not
steady and constant. As more vassals and lords commodified land and labor, land and labor soon
became regarded as commodities. In feudalism, labor was seen as a relationship between the
laborer and the lord, or the person receiving the labor. With the spread of monetization, however,
the concept of abstract labor was introduced: a laborer could now sell his capacity/power and
ability to do labor and the purchaser would be the owner of anything that the laborer produced
(i.e. if someone buys someone s capacity to cook a meal, the meal that the laborer produces with
the boot capacity belongs to the buyer). This new way of understanding labor soon became
widespread and labor feudal perceptions of labor were abandoned; labor had become a
commodity, part of a capitalist economy. Moreover, land was now thought of as a commodity that
could be bought and sold, unlike in feudalism where it was only seen as a lease from a higher lord
that could be exploited but never owned. Perceptions of property also changed; property, or the
amount of tangible goods someone had in their possession,

Good Vs. Evil In Beowulf
In the story Beowulf, there are a lot of conflicts that takes place. This causes a few themes to appear

that represent good. The main character Beowulfobviously is one of them. He s a hero and

My Passion In Sports
My passion is playing sports. I have always been athletic as I grew up playing all different types
of sports. I did gymnastics, basketball, and I continue to play on multiple soccer teams.
However ,I have become a lot more passionate about track and field. Track and field is more of a
laid back sport compared to others as it goes on in an order of events. The events I participate in
are various sprinting events and the pole vault. Pole vault is my favorite of the two events
because there are not many people who compete and it is like a little family amongst competitors.
My teammates and I have a lot of fun hanging out and cheering each other on. Along with the
people I also enjoy the competition and the thrill of beating your personal record whether it is in a
race or in pole vault.
I pole vaulted for the first time when I was ten years old. My neighbor, who coincidently is the
pole vault at the high school, invited my brother, my neighbors and I to try it one day during the
summer. I ended up not being horrible at it so when I got to high school I figured I would try it
again and see how it went. It went very well. My neighbor who is the pole vault coach is now
very old so he is not able to make it to practice very often. The pole vaulters and I do have the

Adsorption Modeling Of Breakthrough Curves
Adsorption modeling of breakthrough curves
A successful design of a column adsorption process requires prediction of the concentration time
profile or breakthrough curve for the effluent. (a,aa14, aa15, aa7, aa2). There are two widely used
approaches to obtain the breakthrough curve of a given adsorption system: direct experimentation or
mathematical modeling. The design of an adsorption column through experimental method
provides a direct determination of the salient parameters based on the breakthrough curve.
However, the extensive experimentation is usually a time consuming and economically unfeasible.
(B6 ) Comparatively, mathematical modeling is simple and provides a method of estimating the
column adsorption capacity without ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
A linear regression was applied to equation 4 and the values of No and ka were computed from
the slope and intercept of the BDST plot between ln(Co/Ct 1) versus t at different adsorption
parameters such as flow rate, bed height and influent adsorbate concentration. These BDST
parameters were used to predict the maximum metal uptake capacity (qcal) under different
process conditions and were compared with the experimental values (qexp) in relation to the
estimated values of ka and No. As shown in Table 1a and b, the values ka decreased with
increasing bed depth and influent metal concentration, but increase with increasing flow rates.
Meanwhile, the values of No declined with the increase in bed height and flow rate. This trend
can be explained on the fact that at increased bed heights more number of active sites is available
for sorption to give higher total metal uptake but reduced per unit removal, whereas at increased
flow rate the volume of adsorbate that entered the column was higher and caused the bed to
saturate early. As with increased metal concentration, the No values were found to be increasing
due to higher loading of metal on the adsorbent achieved in a short period of contact. This
discussion shows that the overall kinetics of adsorption process is governed by external mass
transfer. (aa26, aa7,aa14, aa27)
The BDST model is valid for the describing the initial part of breakthrough curve

The Anzac Legacy Of The Australian World War
Last year, on the 25th of April was the centenary of the Gallipoli landing. Which, according to the
Australian Defence force website, was to be for Australians, one of the most significant
commemorations to take place during their lifetime. With the centenary looming in the backs of the
minds of the Australian people, it is unsurprising that great pains have been taken to construct a
three year long celebration that would encompass a number of historical milestones on Australias
involvement in conflicts , such as both World Wars, Korea and Vietnam.
Yet, the amount of emphasis that is placed on the Anzac legend could be argued to be incorrectly
placed and channelled by certain groups for their own gain. This essay will argue that the Anzac
legacy of the Australians being the perfect soldier is highly embellished and are no more
remarkable than any other soldier. Furthermore the importance and Australia s involvement in the
First World War has been grossly inflated. Additionally, this will analyse claims made by historians
and other academics about how the Anzac legend has changed overtime, and Australia s
involvement in wars.
In order to understand why the Anzac legend became so prominent, an understanding of Australia s
reasons for entering the First World War must be understood. Firstly, it was the first major war
Australia would participate in as a state in its own right, less than two decades after Australian
became a federation in 1901. According to Stanley,

Cesar Chavez Quotes
Cesar Chavez There s no turning back... We will win. We are winning because ours is a
revolution of mind and heart... This quote is said by Cesar Chavez, he is expressing that if you
put your heart and mind into something you think is important without turning back, you will
then achieve it. Cesar Chavez had a great impact on the world because he was not selfish. He
dedicated his life to helping farm workers. Cesar was a labor leader, and he made a major impact
on the National Farm Workers Association. Cesar Chavez was known as a hard worker, a very
generous person, and fought for equality. To start off, when Cesar was young, he worked on his
family s farm gathering eggs, bringing clean water to his house and, he also took care of the

Cesar believed in non violent acts as much more effective than violent ones. Cesar Chavez
believed in equality but not in violence. He thought leading marches would be a successful way
to get what he wanted. His first boycott was against the Delano grape growers. According to
Ricky Tejada Flores Hundreds of students, religious workers and labor activists talked to
consumers in front of markets, asking them to do a simple thing: Help the farm workers by not
buying grapes. At its height, over 13 million Americans supported the Delano grape boycott. On
September 8, 1965, Filipino American grape workers walked out on a strike protesting for years
of poor pay and conditions of work. These Filipino American grape growers asked Cesar Chavez
to join them on the strike. Cesar led a 300 mile walk from Delano to Sacramento. The strike
turned into a boycott and lasted over two years and a half. At this point some strikers were getting
impatient. Some were even thinking about retaliating with violence to prove their manliness. But,
Cesar rejected that idea and decided to fast. He lasted twenty five days without eating anything
only drinking water. The fasting worked, all talk of violence stopped and everyone was rededicated
to nonviolent striking and boycotting. By 1970, the grape boycott was a complete success. Grape
growers finally signed their first union contracts, granting workers better pay, benefits, and

Humpback Whales Navigate By Stars
Both the reading passage and the lecture focus on the supporting evidence of the possibility that
humpback whales navigate by stars. While the passage points out three reasons why it is possible
for humpback whales to travel by stras, the professor disagrees with the three statements and
expresses his doubts about the validity of them. First of all, the author of the passage claims that
humpback whales have the intelligence to use stars for orientation. However, the professor
maintains that the ability to use stars for navigation has nothing to do with cognitive ability. In
fact, as is mentioned by the professor, dogs, whose brain capacity is only of medium level, have
the ability of using stars for navigation. Therefore, there is no correlation

The Stolen Party By Liliana Heker
Imagine being the most amazing helper in the world, and the suddenly realizing that you are
nothing but a paid helper. Well thats what the short story The Stolen Party by Liliana Heker is
all about. The adventures Rosaura the maid s daughter and her experience of going to her first
rich persons party and how she interprets it. Throughout the story we see that Rosaura does
certain tasks for the owner of the house SeГ±ora Ines and at the end of the party she is paid for
these task. We can interpret this in many ways, but for this essay we will say that SeГ±ora Ines
did right to pay Rosaura at the end of the day and that she was teaching rosaura a valuable lesson in
life, and that she was wrong to not have taken the money. Throughout the story we see that
SeГ±ora Ines is clearly using Rosaura as a maid, that Rosaura is still enjoying the party even
thought she is working and also near the end SeГ±ora Ines gives Rosaura the money so she
realize the work she has done does not go without reward. These are clear arguments that SeГ±ora
Ines is teaching Rosaura a lesson in life.
During the party SeГ±ora Ines gives Rosaura certain jobs throughout the night, reinforcing the
fact that she is using Rosaura as help, she does not give over bearing tasks to Rosaura because she
still wants her to enjoy the party cause in SeГ±ora Ines s eyes she is also still a guest to the party.
The author really likes to use point of view and this is one of the strong points of the story, we get

Processual Strategy
Processual, Rational, Fuzzy, Evolutionary 1.Processual approach: Strategy is produced in an
incremental fashion, as a pattern in a stream of decisions . Fuzzy approach: Companies
sometimes adopt an incremental approach to change. What s different between these two
approach? The Processual approach is really talking about strategy emerging from the many
different day to day decisions taken by the staff. It s incremental, in that it is occurring by being
added to with each decision taken. Each decision taken is based on what seems like the best thing
to do at the time; and really, only by looking back can you see the pattern the strategy being
followed by the organisation. The Fuzzy approach is really when a firm has a stated... Show more

And can I say Organization has a vision/mission (i.e. who we are and what we do) and we should
have strategy to fulfill this vision/mission . Strategy is really the actions taken by a business. The
rational approach to strategy is a deliberate attempt to decide on the best actions for the firm to take
and implement them. That is, the firm would have some objectives in mind, assess the external and
internal factors that impact on the business, evaluate their options as to how to achieve those
objectives given the internal and external assessment it has made, and then implement the best
options. Then of course, monitor what s happened in light of desired and reality, and do it all again,
with some changes as necessary. A deliberate, intended, rational method to achieve the best
outcomes it can. An example would be, after following the rational methodology, the firm decides
to achieve revenue growth through exporting to a new market, with their efforts directed to
purposefully going about achieving that aim. The processual approach is an emergent approach to
strategy rather than intended, designed and forethought, the direction that the firm is going in
emerges from the everyday decisions that are taken at the time. The strategy is really something
you can see that has emerged from the previous actions the firm took; rather than decisions being

6. What is spark?
Spark is an in memory cluster computing framework which falls under the open source Hadoop
project but does not follow the two stage map reduce paradigm which is done in Hadoop
distributed file system (HDFS) and which is meant and designed to be faster. Spark, instead support
a wide range of computations and applications which includes interactive queries, stream
processing, batch processing, iterative algorithms and streaming by extending the idea of
MapReduce model. The execution time is the most important factor for every process which
processes large amount of data. While considering large amount of data, the time it usually takes

Also it manages to reduce the overhead of maintaining separate tools. Spark provides flexible
access as it offers API in different programming languages like Python, JAVA, Scala and SQL and
it provides rich built in libraries to offer different functionalities. It can also be integrated with
different big data tools like it can run on Hadoop clusters.
6.1 A Unified Stack
Figure 1 1. The Spark Stack
Spark is an integration of closely integrated components. These components can be combined to
gather and can be used as if simply including multiple libraries in our project. There are multiple
components in Spark and all are important in their own way and are dependent on each other. Spark
can be considered as a computational engine at its core which is important for scheduling,
monitoring applications and distribution of many applications and contains many computational
tasks throughout the computing clusters. It uses high level components to handle the task
workload such as Machine learning. In Spark, components are closely coupled which has several
advantages such as any improvement in lower layers makes the higher level libraries and
component perform better. Consider the case when the optimization is added, SQL and machine
learning libraries also give better performance. Other most important benefit is that it reduces the
costs of running the stack as it does not have to run different software independently. These costs
are mostly related to

Dale A Jerk Analysis
Dale is a human being, like anyone else. However, he s a bit different from others. He s the kind
of person that cuts in line or the kind that vents his tantrum to his partner. We call these people:
jerks. So is Dale a jerk? A jerk is an individual that is foolish, naive, egotistical, as well as unjust.
Here I ll be explaining the views of Schwitzgebel, Polemarchus, and Thrasymachus of being a
jerk. Schwitzgebel defines a jerk as being ignorant of their self serving tendencies. An example
of this is parking in two spots in a lot, disregarding other people s need to park as well. A jerk
would not know that their selfish actions would affect others, therefore they do not know that
they are a jerk themselves. Not only do they lack attention to other s well being, they also tend to
view other s in a negative light. As Schwitzgebel said, Jerks see the world through goggles that
dim others humanity. Surrounded by fools, creeps, stuck up snobs, smug assholes, and, of course,
jerks, Schwitzgebel associates this view as a jerk s view; as most of the world do not see people
negatively. Thus, Dale s lashing out on his partner and his glares at his neighbors... Show more

Polemarchus speaks of justice in The Republic as someone who helps a friend and does harm to
those who are their enemies, including giving everyone their due (p. 711). Socrates does refute
that it is never right to harm anyone, (p. 713) and it s unjust to render whatever is due to
enemies (p, 711) if they mean to do harm meaning to give back ownership of something a person
had, letting them harm another in the process. As a result, maltreatment and being rude is unjust.
For that reason, being a jerk is unjust as a jerk qualifies as being a rude, self absorbed individual.
Dale fits this description perfectly since he shows many signs of his disregard of others well being
such as taking out his anger onto his partner a sign of not helping a

Summary Of Our Heroes Tale
*INSERT TITLE*
Our heroes tale begins in the small magical community of Enchantia, situated deep within the
Enchanted Rainbow Forest, far away from normal civilization. This forest is thick with massive
trees that bare a multitude of differently coloured leaves and vegetation as far as the eye can see.
Even though the forest is expansive, the vegetation manages to remain fairly well kept, giving off a
peaceful and calm vibe. Scattered throughout the forest are large caves (some containing treasure!)
and other small animal communities. But, this story is not about the other communities, it is about
Enchantia and its residents. In particular, the small green dragon who goes by the name of Grassy,

decided that they would take the day to prepare and leave by morning of the next day.
Come morning, the duo of friends were both very eager to embark on this adventure. Since there
were no maps of this secluded area, they decided that to start this adventure they would pick a
direction and just walk until they found something interesting. After a few hours of talking,
walking, and occasional snacking, the two creatures stumbled upon the entrance of a large and
somewhat dark looking cave.
I m not too sure I want to go in there Grassy, it looks pretty dangerous. What if we get hurt?
Remarked Fluffy.
Grassy, being the more courageous one of the duo, managed to convince Fluffy by reminding her,
We wanted an adventure right? Well, a dark and unexplored cave is the best place to start!
You know what Grassy, you re right. This cave looks rife with adventure! And so, they entered the
cave, leaving all worry and hesitation behind them at the entrance.

Congress stresses that this pathway to citizenship is mainly focused on the 11 million
undocumented aliens in America, but it is equally vital to deal with future immigrants, as well, or
the country may find itself housing more illegals and not progressing to a better America (Fox
News, The Associated Press, foxnews.com).
Lastly, Obama s final aspiration is to break our old fashioned system and bring it to the 21st
century. The president s opinion about visa card laws was that they are outdated and make no
sense, (Fox News, The Associated Press, foxnews.com). He hopes to join family members with
those who have come to earn a living already and to avoid the prolonged wait of future
immigrants. Having to wait years before being able to send one s family to America is absurd to
the President and surely to a majority of others (CNN Political Unit, CNN.com).
These plans, ideas, and desires for a higher quality national immigration system will be assorted
into a bill. Witnesses largely appealed to congress disposition to pass the bill because not only will
this bill ameliorate the lives of immigrants and their families, but also the US economy (Fox News,
The Associated Press, foxnews.com).

Transmission Control Protocol And Its Development
Introduction This mini research is about Transmission Control Protocol TCP, its history what it
does, its possible vulnerabilities and its development. Main Concept The Transmission Control
Protocol (TCP) is a core protocol of the Internet protocol suite. It originated in the initial network
implementation in which it complemented the Internet Protocol (IP). TCP defines how computers
send packets of data to each other. TCP provides reliable, ordered, and error checked delivery of a
stream of octets between applications running on hosts communicating over an IP network. TCP is
used to run major applications as World Wide Web, email, file transfer, applications that doesn t
need real time services due to possible unpredictable delays. TCP Functions TCP s primary
functions: Addressing/Multiplexing: Most basic function is multiplexing data received from
processes to be sent out to underlying network layer protocol. Connection Establishment,
Management and Termination: TCP provides set of procedures to establish a TCP connection to
transfer data, then manage the data transfer through logical procedures to handle problems that may
result at any time in the connection and finally when done with this connection it terminates. Data
Handling and Packaging: TCP defines a mechanism for the applications to send to be able to send
data to higher layers. These data are packaged into messages to be set to needed destination. The
destination software then unpackages the data to use

of gender perspectives in policies and programmes. The idea behind this would be to take into

essential to design, implement and monitor, with the full participation of women, effective, efficient

An Innovating Era
One of the most famous innovative engineers of all time, Henry Ford, once said, You can t build a
reputation on what you are going to do. Between 1850 and 1914 the American people happened to
be living by this. Everyone tried creating something to profit, not to satisfy American needs, but
some Americans built a reputation doing the opposite of that. During the years between 1850 and

from a mainly agricultural society to more of a modern industrial nation while America so called

society they currently lived in ( Henry Ford Changed the World 1). He was very determined to

man he became. Ford actually left home to take a job offered to him in Detroit as a machinist, at
the age of sixteen ( Bio Henry Ford 1). His early interest in machinery helped him quickly get a

Ford encountered with Thomas Edison, the lighting genius, and some of his executives. Edison

The impact that Henry Ford had on this innovating era clearly cannot be underestimated. Ford had

Hospital Sketches Louisa May Alcott Summary
In the nonfictitious narrative Hospital Sketches, written by Louisa May Alcott in 1863, she
develops a strong argument concerning human compassion in a time of war. She was able to do
this with strong uses of dialogue, pathos, and figurative language. The dialogue present in the
narrative provides feelings of sorrow for the patients like John. When John asks whether or not
the doctors think the battle is going to be his last, Alcott responds with I m afraid they do,
providing a mood of hopelessness for John s future, and pity for him (Alcott para. 7 8). Alcott
also has feelings of survivor guilt, in which she feels bad about living when people like John are
dying for their country. She feels empathy, and wants to be able to help John bear it so he can
live (Alcott para. 5). She has compassion for him, and she will be sorrowful to see him go. Pathos,
the appeal to emotions, is shown with the melancholy actions shown by the characters. After Alcott

Furthermore, as John continues to lie there, a gray veil, a metaphor for death, was falling over his

The Characteristics Of Alfred Hitler s Birth Order
Alfred Adler was most famous for his perspective on how the development as a person based on
your birth is progressed. He believes that each family is different and that his birth order scale just
happens to be a possible tool to help people understand the general roles of children. Even though
Adler states the types of position you were born are important, he also describes his birth orderscale
as it is not birth order itself that accounts for differences among siblings, but the psychological
situation resulting from it (Allen, 2006). For example, you may be an only child, but take on many
or possible more characteristics of a middle child based on Adler s description. Although Adler
believes in the characteristics he stated for each birth orders, he states that if there are more than
three years between the children, that the birth order may appear different or inaccurate.
In addition, I believe that Adler was pretty accurate when stating the characteristics on the
position of birth. I am an only child in which Adler states are very comfortable with adults, may
have a special unique gift for their birth order, and tend to have a harder time sharing with others.
He also states that only child tend to want to be the center of attention (Allen, 2006). I believe I fit
this birth order pretty accurately. I tend to much rather hang out with adults than to hang out with
children. I also have very few friends that are my age or younger than me, in which most are older. I

The Drone Age Is Coming Per Galeotti
Executive Summary
The drone age is coming per Galeotti . It has been estimated that annual spending on drones
around the world will almost double to $11.4 billion by 2022. New technology has been driven by
the military, and drones are critical to military operations. Due to changing times, drone use is
rapidly adjusting to commercial use by civilians.
This drone revolution has massive implications, ranging from legal and moral to economic and
geopolitical. It will be a deeply disruptive technology, able on the one hand to provide undreamt of
capacities to impoverished people and countries, and on the other to widen the gap between haves
and have nots. It may prove a creative, empowering experience, but also has the potential to be
destructive, destabilizing and divisive.
Drone one day will fight our wars and be a huge asset on the battlefield as well as controlling
hostile or volatile situations.
Currently, drone technology is being driven by military applications, and this will continue as they
become increasingly varied in their roles. Drones will do our work. Drones will carry out tasks
humans cannot, or do not want to do themselves. From remotely piloted ambulances to leading
SWAT raids in hostile situations, from collecting garbage to moving goods, they become
ubiquitous, even making their way into the media, gathering news footage and becoming
entertainment tools.

School Dropout s Rates From City
All these is done to convince the readers that millions of children are out of school in Pakistan.
The readers feels sympathetic a lot about these issue Basically, Azam attributes poor government
plans, lack of resources, poor education schemes and poor planning to this menace of poor
enrolment and absence of learners from. The author of this article employs the use of some
reasons and logic appeals in an attempt to lure the audience to read the article and identify with it.
For instance, it was show that the rate of enrolled children from Grade one to five maximum, but
the retention rate is only 67%. Also, the primary enrollment is 58% in Pakistan and the target of
100%. There are example that show the logic of low enrolment. There are different between school
dropout s rates from city to other. For example, Balochi stanand Sindh are highest population of
school dropout s children, the rates about 66% of children in Balochistanand 51% in Sindh are
not in school, however, Punjaband K P show low rates of dropout s children by 47% and 34%
children out of school. Lastly, inthe Federally Administered Tribal regions (FATA), 62% are not in
school, in Gilgit Baltistan 48% not in school. And about 43% of same kids live in Azad Jammu and
Kashmir.
The use of tables and pictures also act as another appeal in this article. In this case, Azam uses a
chart to indicate the rate of literacy in Pakistan and also the rate of primary school enrolment in the
same country (Azam).

Conflict Resolution Styles Paper
Conflicts can arise to an individual at any time and how a person utilizes conflict resolution
strategies depends on both their conflict style and conflict resolution skills. There are many ways
to respond to conflict situations with some styles involving a considerate or cooperative approach
while others involve either a competitive or passive approach (Hodges 2000). The online tools
discussed can be used to evaluate the conflictresolution styles as they may impact teamwork in
different ways. Individuals have different typical behaviors in conflict situations which is
describable along two dimensions that are assertiveness and cooperativeness. As a team and
through the tools, we can understand how interpersonal group dynamics are affected by conflict

Landfield, 2008). There were three very broad categories in the earlier editions: neuroses which
would include mood disorders such as major depression and anxiety disorders; psychoses which
would include disorders like schizophrenia; and character disorders which are known today as
personality disorders (Blashfield, Flanagan, Raley, 2010).... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

The language used in the definitions reflect the psychoanalytic approach to how professionals
viewed mental illness at the time, due to psychoanalysis being the main view of the psychiatrics
(Pomerantz, 2014). A further difference between the editions is the way the symptoms were
described: instead of being a list of specific symptoms for each disorder, it was a simple paragraph
giving a vague description of the disorder leading to limited generalisability for the practising

The coefficient of static friction between brass and different materials were experimentally
determined by observing slip angels. A brass block was placed at the top of different ramps made
of rubber, wood, sandpaper, and Teflon. Once the angle of the ramp was raised high enough the
block began to slip, the angle at this point was measured. Static friction reaches a maximum at the
slip angle, thus allowing the block to slip. Vector components, Newton s second law, and the
equation fs= Вµsn, can be used to derive the equation Вµs = tan(Жџ); the static coefficient of
friction equals tan(Жџ) of the slip angle. The ramp material and its respective slip angles were
rubber 50o, wood 22o, sandpaper 25o, and Teflon 180; all angles had

Naturalized Citizen Clause Pros And Cons
Argument Paper: The Naturalization Clause Controversy The United States is a nation built on
independence and freedom. This freedom, established through the constitution, allows American
citizens to be able to participate in their government. The same constitution also restricts freedom of
some Americans however. The naturalization clause amended to the constitution in 1790, forbids
naturalized citizens from becoming president. Many naturalized citizens have lived in America for
most of their lives and contribute to society just as much as a natural born citizen does. The
naturalized clause of 1790 should be removed from the constitution so that naturalized citizens also
have a chance to run for the presidency. To be able to understand the controversy surrounding the
natural born citizen clause in the constitution, it is important to know why it was added to the
constitution in the first place. The original purpose of this clause was to prevent the British rule
from coming to America and taking charge (Hulse). The National Constitution Center staff quoted
the natural born citizen clause in the constitution saying that no person except a natural born citizen
or a citizen of the United States at the time of the adoption of this constitution shall be eligible to
the office of president ( Natural Born ). This clause also allows children that are offspring of United
States citizens that are born internationally to obtain citizenship ( Natural Born ). At the time when

The Call For A Revised Study On Secession
The call for a revised study on secession come from one of the leading historians in Walter L.
Buenger s article, Secession Revisited: The Texas Experience. Buenger argues there exists an
extensive amount of studies on secession, but the focus of these studies centers on individual states
actions, no one has attempted to synthesize these works and write a history of secession for the
entire South. He asserts that Texascould serve as a model if someone conducted a synthesize study of
secession for the entire South. Buenger supports this claim utilizing Terry Jordan study previously
mentioned above study on Upper and Lower South, by outlining the attributes (culture, economic,
and political ideologies) of those found in Texascompared to the attributes found in the Upper and
Lower Southern states. Key to his analysis is his detailed description of the four political factions
found in Texas. Radical separatists, a small group wanting to secede immediately, shared the Lower
South culture and ideology of defending Southern rights. They believe the responsibility of the
nation centers on protecting the rights and property of the individuals. Moderate secessionists
shared the Lower South Democratic party characteristics, of the slaveholding and cotton growing
culture. These moderates also included some wheat growers from the Upper South and Germans
living in close proximity to the cotton growers that supported secession. Moderate unionists shared

The Role Of A Mental Health Counselor
The Role and Life of a Mental Health Counselor
Counseling is a professional relationship that empowers diverse individuals, families and groups
to accomplish mental health, wellness, education, and career goals (Carmichael and Erford,
2014).I had to learn what it meant to be a counselor in order to decide if it was a path that I was
willing to go down. I have learned a lot over the last 10 weeks from wellness strategies, writing
clear and concisely and making ethical decisions. I also learned how essential is was to participate
in supervision, seek a consult and make sure that my treatment is evidenced based as well effective
for the client. I also conducted an interview with a mental health counselor. This paper will take you

Legal and Ethical Issues
In dealing with the families, a lot of the parents ask questions about their children as well as what
things are discussed in therapy. For instance, parents want to know if their child is sexually active.
The law does not allow her to disclose that information for someone who is over the age of 14.
Counselors protect the confidential information of prospective and current clients. Counselors
disclose information only with appropriate consent or with sound legal or ethical justification
(American Counseling Association, 2014). Mrs. March stated she makes sure that she keeps an
open mind and respects the difference of her clients. She understands that they have various cultural
backgrounds, different economical statuses and some come from broken homes.
Theoretical Perspectives Mrs. March believes that, the developmental level of the client should be
taken into account. If a counselor is aware of and understands the developmental level of their
client, their treatment can be developed. Case conceptualization refers to how professional
counselors understand the nature of clients concerns, how and why problems have developed and
types of counseling interventions that might be helpful (Bartly and Mears, 2014). Ms. March
gathers all the information

Society didn t understand mental illness very well, so the mentally ill individuals were sent to asylums primarily to get them off the streets. Patients in asylums were usually subjected to conditions that today we would consider horrific and inhumane due to the lack of knowledge on mental illnesses. In Bly s time, mental illnesses were not taken seriously. Bly described the asylum she was admitted to as overcrowded, cold, and dirty (ch. 7). It defeated the purpose of trying to give extra attention to those in need. It was easy to get admitted into an institution, but nearly impossible to make it out because the treatment was not treatment. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... A particularly infamous and widely known heavy metal is lead. Lead has been a particular useful element in early human history. It saw many uses from making jewelry to the height of its use in the ancient world as Roman plumbing. Most people would shudder at the thought of drinking water from lead pipes with all the hysteria associated with lead; however, lead pipes or more commonly lead solder are still around today though mainly in outdated water lines that have been grandfathered. Oddly enough, the Romans were actually aware of the toxic properties of lead. Lead workers were even described as being notoriously... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Lead poisoning in the U.S. is generally caused by contaminated water. Lead in the public water supply is generally due to absorption from lead pipes or solder. Absorption of lead into water has been found proportional to the temperature of the water. Unsurprisingly, the warmer the water, the higher the lead concentration; however, the change in lead concentration compared to the temperature shift is quite surprising. Ж Between 10 and 23 degrees Celsius, it has been shown that a 1 degree shift in temperature can change the dissolved lead concentration by 5 percent. You must decide which lender you are going to pick and determine whether a fixed or an adjustable rate will suit you best. And then you are compelled to make the biggest decision of all. Paying a 30 year mortgage loanis quintessential, however, this standard mortgagelength is not written in stone. You can choose to pay off your mortgage sooner with a 15 year loan. Choosing a 15 year mortgage loan over a 30 year mortgage loan has several benefits. One benefit of choosing a 15 year term is being able to pay off your home loan quickly. This option is perfect for those who do not want to pay a mortgage for ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... By paying an extra $100 each month, you can reduce the amount of interest you pay by $22,816.95 leaving the lifetime of the loan at $114,799.44 in interest. That being said, if you wanted to make extra payments on the 30 year mortgage loan and pay it off like a 15 year loan, you would have to do it diligently because the interest rates are higher and you could mess it up if you don t pay the difference religiously. However, if money gets tight, then you don t have to make that extra payment if you cannot afford it. Compared to the 15 year loan, you must always pay a higher monthly payment whether you want to or not, but your interest rates are lower. In conclusion, making the decision between a 15 year mortgage and a 30 year mortgage is a major decision that will have long lasting effect on your financial situation. Going over your finances before choosing a term is crucial. If you are wanting to pay off your mortgage before retiring, it would be wise to go over your finances to see if your income can support higher payments. If you are a first time home buyer, looking at every aspect such as how much of disposable income and personal savings you have should be taken into consideration. But when I do get to choose my topic, then I can write about something that I enjoy and feel passionate about. In my experience with writing, I have chosen many topics. But most of them I probably did not enjoy writingabout that particular topic. There are very few papers that I have written where I really enjoyed writing. But the paper that I am going to talk about was different for me because I wanted people to understand my point of view on the subject. And so, I felt compelled to write about the topic that I chose for this particular essaythat I wrote in 9th grade. It is about technology, and its role and effect on society. The paper I wrote on technology was an essay. Like most essays, it had 5 paragraphs. An introduction paragraph, three body paragraphs, and a conclusion paragraph. My teacher also had me write an outline to the essay, to help me stay organized in my thoughts. In the introduction paragraph I summarize my main points. I chose three points about technology that I would mention in each of the body paragraphs. In my first body paragraph, I talk about how technology has affected education and the way people can learn. In my second body paragraph, I talk about how technology has changed the way we communicate with people. And in the third paragraph, I talk about how technology has changed the way we entertain ourselves. I chose to write about technology partially because at the time that I was writing that essay, a close family member in my household was experiencing health issues when they were around technology. And so I had to live with very little to no technology for about a year. And that probably sounds like I was living in a different time era, and sometimes it felt like that. It was really a drastic time for me and my family. Because in this world, technology is used for everything. And so we had to adapt to not being with it when we were home. It was a really different experience. But it happened for a reason. And I learned how to live without constant technology. Technology has changed education for the better. On a manor, there was no currency; all obligations were paid in kind or were done to repay someone else for their service. With the rise of capitalism and the spread of money into rural areas, vassals began to commodity their labor, and lords began to commodity their land. Commodifying land and labor allowed lords and vassals to receive more cash on a regular basis, yet the payments they received were still not steady and constant. As more vassals and lords commodified land and labor, land and labor soon became regarded as commodities. In feudalism, labor was seen as a relationship between the laborer and the lord, or the person receiving the labor. With the spread of monetization, however, the concept of abstract labor was introduced: a laborer could now sell his capacity/power and ability to do labor and the purchaser would be the owner of anything that the laborer produced (i.e. if someone buys someone s capacity to cook a meal, the meal that the laborer produces with the boot capacity belongs to the buyer). This new way of understanding labor soon became widespread and labor feudal perceptions of labor were abandoned; labor had become a commodity, part of a capitalist economy. Moreover, land was now thought of as a commodity that could be bought and sold, unlike in feudalism where it was only seen as a lease from a higher lord that could be exploited but never owned. The design of an adsorption column through experimental method provides a direct determination of the salient parameters based on the breakthrough curve. A linear regression was applied to equation 4 and the values of No and ka were computed from the slope and intercept of the BDST plot between ln(Co/Ct 1) versus t at different adsorption parameters such as flow rate, bed height and influent adsorbate concentration. These BDST parameters were used to predict the maximum metal uptake capacity (qcal) under different process conditions and were compared with the experimental values (qexp) in relation to the estimated values of ka and No. As shown in Table 1a and b, the values ka decreased with increasing bed depth and influent metal concentration, but increase with increasing flow rates. Meanwhile, the values of No declined with the increase in bed height and flow rate. This trend can be explained on the fact that at increased bed heights more number of active sites is available for sorption to give higher total metal uptake but reduced per unit removal, whereas at increased flow rate the volume of adsorbate that entered the column was higher and caused the bed to saturate early. As with increased metal concentration, the No values were found to be increasing due to higher loading of metal on the adsorbent achieved in a short period of contact. This discussion shows that the overall kinetics of adsorption process is governed by external mass transfer. Which, according to the Australian Defence force website, was to be for Australians, one of the most significant commemorations to take place during their lifetime. With the centenary looming in the backs of the minds of the Australian people, it is unsurprising that great pains have been taken to construct a three year long celebration that would encompass a number of historical milestones on Australias involvement in conflicts , such as both World Wars, Korea and Vietnam. Yet, the amount of emphasis that is placed on the Anzac legend could be argued to be incorrectly placed and channelled by certain groups for their own gain. This essay will argue that the Anzac legacy of the Australians being the perfect soldier is highly embellished and are no more remarkable than any other soldier. Furthermore the importance and Australia s involvement in the First World War has been grossly inflated. Additionally, this will analyse claims made by historians and other academics about how the Anzac legend has changed overtime, and Australia s involvement in wars. In order to understand why the Anzac legend became so prominent, an understanding of Australia s reasons for entering the First World War must be understood. A jerk is an individual that is foolish, naive, egotistical, as well as unjust. Here I ll be explaining the views of Schwitzgebel, Polemarchus, and Thrasymachus of being a jerk. Schwitzgebel defines a jerk as being ignorant of their self serving tendencies. An example of this is parking in two spots in a lot, disregarding other people s need to park as well. A jerk would not know that their selfish actions would affect others, therefore they do not know that they are a jerk themselves. Not only do they lack attention to other s well being, they also tend to view other s in a negative light. As Schwitzgebel said, Jerks see the world through goggles that dim others humanity. Surrounded by fools, creeps, stuck up snobs, smug assholes, and, of course, jerks, Schwitzgebel associates this view as a jerk s view; as most of the world do not see people negatively. Thus, Dale s lashing out on his partner and his glares at his neighbors... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Polemarchus speaks of justice in The Republic as someone who helps a friend and does harm to those who are their enemies, including giving everyone their due (p. 711). Socrates does refute that it is never right to harm anyone, (p. 713) and it s unjust to render whatever is due to enemies (p, 711) if they mean to do harm meaning to give back ownership of something a person had, letting them harm another in the process. As a result, maltreatment and being rude is unjust. For that reason, being a jerk is unjust as a jerk qualifies as being a rude, self absorbed individual. Dale fits this description perfectly since he shows many signs of his disregard of others well being such as taking out his anger onto his partner a sign of not helping a ... • 27. Summary Of Our Heroes Tale *INSERT TITLE* Our heroes tale begins in the small magical community of Enchantia, situated deep within the Enchanted Rainbow Forest, far away from normal civilization. This forest is thick with massive trees that bare a multitude of differently coloured leaves and vegetation as far as the eye can see. Even though the forest is expansive, the vegetation manages to remain fairly well kept, giving off a peaceful and calm vibe. Scattered throughout the forest are large caves (some containing treasure!) and other small animal communities. But nonetheless they decided that they would take the day to prepare and leave by morning of the next day. Come morning, the duo of friends were both very eager to embark on this adventure. Since there were no maps of this secluded area, they decided that to start this adventure they would pick a direction and just walk until they found something interesting. After a few hours of talking, walking, and occasional snacking, the two creatures stumbled upon the entrance of a large and somewhat dark looking cave. I m not too sure I want to go in there Grassy, it looks pretty dangerous. What if we get hurt? Remarked Fluffy. Grassy, being the more courageous one of the duo, managed to convince Fluffy by reminding her, We wanted an adventure right? Well, a dark and unexplored cave is the best place to start! Ever since his first inauguration, it has been President Barack Obama s mission to improve America s mediocre immigration system. Lastly, Obama s final aspiration is to break our old fashioned system and bring it to the 21st century. The president s opinion about visa card laws was that they are outdated and make no sense, (Fox News, The Associated Press, foxnews.com). • 29. Transmission Control Protocol And Its Development Introduction This mini research is about Transmission Control Protocol TCP, its history what it does, its possible vulnerabilities and its development. Main Concept The Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) is a core protocol of the Internet protocol suite. It originated in the initial network implementation in which it complemented the Internet Protocol (IP). TCP defines how computers send packets of data to each other. TCP provides reliable, ordered, and error checked delivery of a stream of octets between applications running on hosts communicating over an IP network. TCP is used to run major applications as World Wide Web, email, file transfer, applications that doesn t need real time services due to possible unpredictable delays. TCP Functions TCP s primary functions: Addressing/Multiplexing: Most basic function is multiplexing data received from processes to be sent out to underlying network layer protocol. Connection Establishment, Management and Termination: TCP provides set of procedures to establish a TCP connection to transfer data, then manage the data transfer through logical procedures to handle problems that may result at any time in the connection and finally when done with this connection it terminates. Data Handling and Packaging: TCP defines a mechanism for the applications to send to be able to send data to higher layers. These data are packaged into messages to be set to needed destination. Hospital Sketches Louisa May Alcott Summary In the nonfictitious narrative Hospital Sketches, written by Louisa May Alcott in 1863, she develops a strong argument concerning human compassion in a time of war. She was able to do this with strong uses of dialogue, pathos, and figurative language. The dialogue present in the narrative provides feelings of sorrow for the patients like John. When John asks whether or not the doctors think the battle is going to be his last, Alcott responds with I m afraid they do, providing a mood of hopelessness for John s future, and pity for him (Alcott para. 7 8). Alcott also has feelings of survivor guilt, in which she feels bad about living when people like John are dying for their country. She feels empathy, and wants to be able to help John bear it so he can live (Alcott para. 5). She has compassion for him, and she will be sorrowful to see him go. This freedom, established through the constitution, allows American citizens to be able to participate in their government. The same constitution also restricts freedom of some Americans however. The naturalization clause amended to the constitution in 1790, forbids naturalized citizens from becoming president. Many naturalized citizens have lived in America for most of their lives and contribute to society just as much as a natural born citizen does. They believe the responsibility of the nation centers on protecting the rights and property of the individuals.
