• Creating an applet free Activity view is a top priority for P6
• Version 15 Release 2 introduces the start of a new Activity View
• “Basic View” is perfect for users who need to add, edit, delete standard
activity information
• Existing applet version of Activity View still exists as the “Classic View”
• Access to the Basic and Classic views can be controlled by Administrators
and User Preferences

What can you do with the new view?
– Add, edit, delete activities
– Update General, Status, Assignment, Predecessor, Successor fields
• In Columns and Detail tabs
– Group by WBS
– Customize the columns and bars
How do you gain access to the new view?
– Administrators can choose Classic or Basic view (and
default view) in User Interface Views
– Users can modify their own settings in My Preferences
– Basic View is turned off by default

• Import and Export of projects can
now be set to run a set intervals
• Specify the location of the file and set
import/export options
– Import baselines
– Choose projects to export
– Create New/Update existing projects on
import
– Select existing Import template

• Filtering now includes the ability to filter using relative or rolling dates
– Ex: Early Start within range of Data Date to Data Date + 2 weeks
– Can filter using Project Start, Project Finish, Data Date, Current Date, Current Week,
Current Month, Custom Date
• Codes can now be filtered using Contains and Does not contain as criteria
– Available in P6 Web and P6 Client
