Analysis Of Daron Acemoglu And James A. Robinson s Novel...
In Daron Acemoglu and James A. Robinson s novel Why Nations Fail, they describe the two different
types of institutions in which a government correlates, inclusive and extractive. Inclusive nations are
exceedingly democratic and create legislation to benefit the majority, while extractive institutions are
authoritative and limit the benefits to a small minority (84 89). A country s political institution affects
the accessibility to digital literature because of the improvement it enables. Digital literature provides
an accessible form of education that allows for people to not only research, but it also makes it easier
to come upon a sense of self identity. Additionally, it sets a foundation for the use of new technology
and provides room for change. An education, an enlightening encounter where one gains information
they had not known prior to the experience, is ordinarily associated with receiving a degree from a
university. However, during the modern era a breakthrough resource has been brought to life, one that
allows for the massive consumption of wisdom without the consternation that comes with spending
thousands of dollars, the World Wide Web. The popularization and practicality of the Internet has thus
inevitably coined the present period the Information Age. Among the different elements of the
Internet, digital literature, which consists of works that take advantage of the proficiencies a computer
and other sources of digital media offer, continues to become more

Case Study Of Maxis
Maxis Gross Profit The graph indicates the gross profit of Maxis was unstable and fluctuated wildly
from 2011 to 2014. Gross profit dropped minimally by 1.26% from 2011 to 2012. The reasons why
gross profit dropped in 2012 were the stiff price competition and the emergence of over the top (OTT)
players. OTT players provided alternative communication access (Maxis Berhad, 2012, p.17). From
2012 to 2013, it increased slightly which was from RM5.96bil to RM5.99bil. It may due to the
launching of 4G Long Term Evolution (LTE) service in Malaysia and Maxis was the first to offer this
4G LTE service (Maxis Berhad, 2012, p.37). The gross profit dropped significantly from RM5.99bil in
2013 to RM5.68bil in 2014. As 2014 is the transforming year, ... Show more content on

Rupert Dickinson And Emily Dickinson
War poetry displays an accurate representation of the sensations felt during the horrid times of battle.
In the novel The Catcher in the Rye, by J.D. Salinger, D.B. asks Allie, who was the best war poet,
Rupert Brooke or Emily Dickinson (140). The question proposed can be answered with many different
opinions, as the individual s knowledge and understanding of each poet will impact their decision. In
contrast to Rupert Brooke, Emily Dickinson is clearly the superior war poet as she portrays soldiers
and the idea of death in an insightful manner, which causes the reader to go beyond their
comprehension of the words to recognize the full potential of the poem.
Soldiers are an essential aspect of war poetry, as they play the role of the protagonist through the
theme of the poem, generally. Therefore, Dickinson displays soldiers as heroic figures, which should
be celebrated and honored, as they sacrifice their lives for the freedom of others. For instance, This
Spartan put away/ What little of Him, writes Dickinson, we possessed/ In Pawn for Liberty (line 6 8,
444 ); Spartans died heroically in their doomed stand against a huge invasion by the Persian army.
Evidently, citizens possess soldiers more as a commodity to be spent for the liberty of civilian safety;
Dickinson cleverly highlights this idea within her poem by alluding to the Spartans. Therefore,
Dickinson s ability to represent the soldiers is effective, as her, inner violence confronted outer
violence...

Assyrians Research Paper
Assyria, Babylon, Medo Persia: 3 Mesopotamian World Powers What great trios do you remember?
Some of you guys may say The Three Musketeers, or perhaps The Three Blind Mice. But I remember
three of the most remarkable biblical world powers, also these three contributed to each other s rise,
and downfall. They were also known as the rulers of the Hebrews. These were 3 of the 7 kings . I
believe they fit together because they prove how historically and prophetically accurate the Bible is.
First of all let s start off with Assyria, one of the most ruthless nations of it s time. It conquer many,
many, nations. Its capital Nineveh was known all through Mesopotamia as, The City of bloodshed ,
and it was indeed. The Assyrians were a ruthless ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
How does the nation of Babylon portray the Bible s accurate history and reliable prophecy. We ll start
with history. When Jerusalem was finally free of Assyrian rule, the Babylonians conquered them about
a hundred years later because of Israel being unfaithful again, but, that s a story for another day. In
Daniel 5:1 it states that As regards King Bel·shaz′zar, he held a great feast for a thousand of his
nobles, and he was drinking wine in front of them. But some scholars say that, even though he was an
official he was actually not king of Babylon. But recently a series of cylinders were uncovered where
King Nabonidus states a prayer of his eldest son Belshazzar. Even more recently so, evidence shows
that Belshazzar served as a regent and as a co ruler. Which would make sense because he offered the
prophet Daniel the role as the third ruler of the kingdom because he was the second one himself, The
Bible also portrays Babylon as a very religious nation, along with Astrology and Divination. When the
Babylonian king Nebuchadnezzar decided he wanted to lay siege to Jerusalem he looked into the liver.
Why? That is due to the Babylonian belief that organs were used to gather omens. In fact all the dried
livers were inscribed with omens. Archaeologist Nelson Glueck states, I have excavated for thirty
years . . . , and in matters of historical perspective I have never found the Bible to be in

Children Should Make Our Children
Every parent wants to have a healthy perfect child, but without vaccines we would have so many sick
children that could die from the diseases that are out there today. If we all make sure our children have
their vaccines we would save more lives, save money so that we are not trying to treat the diseases,
and protect the future generations from the new diseases. When deciding whether or not to have our
children get these vaccines, think about all the good things they do rather than the bad. No one wants
to lose a loved one that has just passed of old age let alone passed because of something that could
have been prevented by just a simple vaccine. All parents of children should make sure that they
receive their vaccines because it will change people s lives, save our country a lot of money, and
protect our future generations.
Clearly, there are still plenty of people out there that are not vaccinated and they cannot wait too long
to get their vaccines. The Center of Disease Control estimated that 732,000 American children were
saved from death and 322 million cases of childhood illnesses were prevented between 1994 and 2014
due to vaccinations (Loria, 2014). Our country needs to come together to try to make our parents
understand why we are pushing to have their children vaccinated so soon. There are many ways
vaccines in the United States can change people s lives and we do not even realize it because
Americans take everything for granted. Just because a disease is lying

Intermittent Explosive Disorder (IED)
This paper explores Intermittent Explosive Disorder (IED), a disorder categorized by the Diagnostic
and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders Fifth Edition (DSM 5) as an impulse control disorder. To
understand this disorder research was collected on predisposing factors that make an individual more
vulnerable to IED. Research was also collected on precipitating and perpetuating factors to explore
what factors trigger the disorder and subsequently prolong the symptoms. Finally, research was
collected on how the disorder is diagnosed and current treatment options for individuals diagnosed
with IED.

The optimal goal of treatment for patients with IED is remission, which is the resolution of symptoms
or improvement to the point where only one or two symptoms of mild intensity persist. If that goal is
unattainable a practical goal is stabilizing the safety of the patient and others as well as substantially
improving the number, intensity, and frequency of symptoms. To achieve these treatment goals studies
have shown the best treatment is a combination of medication and psychotherapy (Alpert Spillmann,
1997). The use of the selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) Fluoxetine has shown moderate to
large improvement in the reduction of impulsive aggressive behavior. The goal of the Fluoxetine is to
balance out the altered serotonin levels that are commonly altered in individuals with IED (Coccaro,
M.D., 2012). In addition to medication cognitive behavioral therapy has been shown to reduce
impulsive aggression, anger, and hostile automatic thoughts. The therapies used include relaxation
training, cognitive restructuring, and coping skills training. The rates of full remission from IED were
29% with fluoxetine alone and 33% from cognitive behavioral therapy alone. When combined the
treatments are more effective for sustained remission because they work through different mechanisms
(Coccaro, M.D., 2012). Studies have shown that IED symptoms precede the onset of other comorbid
disorders and are persistent and follow a chronic course of at least 12 years. Intervention at an early
age is most effective before development of comorbid disorders (Coccaro, M.D.,

also had travel plans to the U.S. and after delays and a few written agreements from Silas Deane with
promises they would be commissioned major generals they set off across the Atlantic. After arriving to
the United States he and several other French officers volunteered to aid the Americans after learning
of the difficulties involved with their efforts to gain independence. In the summer 1777 Mr. Lafayette

Australian Gold Rush
Introduction:
The gold rush era was a significant event in Australian history. The Australian gold rush first started
during May 1851 in Bathurst after Edward Hargraves found a grain of gold in a waterhole. The gold
rush was a period of time for immigration of workers locally and from overseas and marked the start
of significant changes in the Australian economy.
Where and why did the gold rush occur?
Hargraves thought there were similarities in the geological features between Australia and Californian
Goldfields where he had just returned from. He was proven to be correct and quickly registered his
claims with local authorities. The first Gold Fields in NSW where given the name of Ophir and was
appointed a Commission of Land and received a reward of 10,000 pounds and a life pension. Ophir

they weren t able to take part in it either. The people in the gold rush would live in tents, making it

to bark huts and stone buildings to replace the old tents. The food there was damper and tea. Doctors

A Report On The Bill Of Costs
Good Morning John,
I note from your initial instructions for the above matter that there is a further sum of money that you
wish for me to include in the Bill of Costs. At this stage I am unsure as to what these costs have
resulted from but there are strict rules as to what and how we recover costs and I wanted to briefly
explain the same. If the costs have not been incurred or cannot be claimed under your retainer then
recovering them will not be possible without breaching statutory or regulatory obligations. It is
essential that the retainer is valid for all of the costs you wish to recover as without this validity you as
the solicitor will not be able to recover costs (JH Milner Son v Percy Bilton Ltd [1966] 1 WLR).
Your right to ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
If you have not informed your client and if there is no contractual right to increase rates in the retainer
then unfortunately we will be bound by what is contractually stated. The costs of the litigation have
been incurred on behalf of the Claimant, the Bill must therefore represent what the Claimant has
agreed to pay to you for your services. We cannot recover any costs that the Claimant is not liable to
pay.
Furthermore, as per the Law of Contract we cannot include costs until you have actually carried out
the work so if the costs you mention are in relation to work you are going to do then unfortunately we
cannot seek any remuneration as the matter has now settled.
____________________________________________
If your instructions refer to including costs relating to work that is not on file then we must ensure that
compliance with the Codes is maintained. If you have done the work then we can include it as it
should be able to be evidenced through the work done and we can justify this to the paying party; but
without evidence the costs will be difficult to recover if they come into dispute. The Bill needs to be
sufficiently particularised, otherwise costs could be void for inadequate information (Re Kingsley
1978).
If you are expecting me to include costs for work that has not

The Characteristics Of Witchcraft In Early Modem Europe
Witchcraft in Early Modem Europe was perceived with mixed attitudes by the society. People in the
16th and 17th centuries accepted witchcraft when it worked to help them, but saw it as a satanic
practice when it failed. Although it was socially acceptable for people to seek for advice or help from
witches, it was taboo for witches to use magic as it was linked to devil worship and other beliefs that
went against the Christian faith. Furthermore, women accused of sorcery were often unable to receive
a fair trial as demonstrated by the leading questions that were posed and the acts of torture that led to
forced confessions. During a period of religious and political turmoil, the Trial of Tempel Anneke
illustrates the fact that society was not so much concerned with the truth, but rather convicted these
women because of their marginalized role in society caused by social disposition. Furthermore, it can
be suggested that while it was acceptable for people to inquire about magic, the law heavily punished
those who would practice witchcraft. It is evident that Tempel Anneke displays the typical
characteristics of an accused witch an older female figure that was perceived as a burden to society
and offered little in return. Anneke was a widower who lost her husband who during the Thirty Years
War and depended on her son s financial assistance. Furthermore, she was informally trained by her
mother as a naturopathic healer and used her healing skills to help cure people and animals in her
community by using herbs and other plants. Anneke had not been accused of witchcraft while her
neighbors had hired her for medicinal purposes on a regular basis until the case of Hans Kholer
because of the harmful magic she was accused of employing that led to fear and resentment towards
her. Lastly, society s perceptions of women during the time furthered their inability to prove their
innocence through a fair trial. It was a widely held belief that women were of weak understanding, and
are hence more likely to be ensnared by the lies and illusions of the Devil (pg. xxxvi). Society s
prejudice towards women, especially elderly women dependent on society, predetermined the fate of
the women charged for witchcraft; the court of

Essay on Marriage in Pamela and Fanny Hill
Marriage is the only available and acceptable option for the eighteenth century heroine . Is this true?
Class and gender chiefly governed British society in the eighteenth century and the opportunities for a
woman to achieve social and financial security were scarce. In this society men of the upper class
governed the female identity. This patriarchal climate stipulated that, a respectable woman was
nothing but the potential mother of children (Blease 7). In the context of eighteenth century British
society, this prescribed duty implied marriage first and was shortly followed by procreation and duties
relating to family life. Although marriage and maternity provided the only socially acceptable path for
women during this time, some ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Pamela equates being kept mistress to slavery and confides in her parents claiming that she would
rather be obliged to wear rags, and live upon rye bread and water, as I used to do, than to be a harlot to
the greatest man in the world (Richardson). As a lower class servant girl, becoming a mistress to a
powerful aristocratic gentleman had the potential to invite [Pamela s] ruin (Richardson). Thus, the
only options available to Pamela that would not guarantee her ruin were to cling to her virtue or
solidify her position through marriage.
While Pamela s upstanding virtue provides the model behaviour for young ladies of the time, Cleland
s heroine sustains herself through the socially unacceptable act of prostitution. Although Fanny Hill is
a pornographic novel intended to arouse its male readership, Cleland s text is essentially anti Pamelist
in its account of Fanny s life. Richardson offers his heroine multiple opportunities to flee the
unwelcome advances of Mr B from Mr William s proposal of marriage to Mr B s offer to take Pamela
as his mistress, both of which she refuses. Fanny, on the other hand, is forced out of poverty into the
line of sex work. She relinquishes her hold on virtue, telling the reader that

The Legal Approach Of The American Constitution
The Legal Approach: This approach is very tricky to control the president, and therefore, it is very
important to block and prevent any tyrannical regime because it is all about laws and legislatures. In
here, the American constitution is very important and leads the way. It shows that how the constitution
plays a role in presidency. Through this, the significant advantage of this approach is that the president
and his or her presidency is controlled by the constitution, laws, legal precedents and customs. The
legal approach limits the power of the president, and put some boundaries of the presidential warrant,
reach and powers to prevent any tyrannical kind of regimes. This approach also determines that how a
president uses his or her authority with other branches of the federal government, such as judiciary,
the congress and bureaucracy. The Institutional Approach: The Institutional Approach is a traditional
old and significant one that affects the attitudes of the president towards the institution of the
presidency. Because of this, this approach deals with legislature, executive, judiciary, political parties,
interest groups, and the president himself/herself. The presidential institution exists to handle three
sets of responsibilities, regardless of who is president: policy issues, political targets, and the daily
workload (Nelson, year, 41). Of course, the presidency as an institution is very important. Also, a
president plays an important role in this institution.

Narrative by Judith Ortiz Cofer Essay
The narrative written by Judith Ortiz Cofer discusses some of the many experiences she has
encountered throughout her life dealing with stereotypes and common misconceptions of Latin
American women. To further engage her audience in the story, she provides detailed past experiences
that have stood out to her the most. In order for the readers to fully understand those past encounters,
some of which are cultural and common among Latinos, Cofer explains them in careful detail. For
example, Cofer explains the concept of piropos which are poems composed on the spot by men to
women as a form of admiration. This helps her introduce the audience to her own experiences with
piropos and how she has dealt with them throughout her life. One of the ... Show more content on

She knew how to dress for specific occasions such as a Sunday mass or a party, but this was a
challenge. This shows the audience that Latin girls dress the way they do because of their cultural
background and something that is considered acceptable in Latin America can differ from what is
acceptable in North America. Cofer goes on to discuss how the way Latin women dress can be
misinterpreted as a come on to men when in fact, that usually isn t the case because dressing that way
is normal and even encouraged by Latin mothers. The point Cofer was trying to display in her
narrative was that the outward appearance of Latin women should not be mistaken with who they are
but rather be considered as part of their culture. This narrative describes a cultural clash between
America s mainstream views and opinions and Latin women who have to struggle with these
stereotypes from a young age. Career Day is one of the examples in which Cofer experienced falling
under one of those stereotypes and feeling like an outcast when the nuns at her school displayed the
Latin girls as the negative models of Career Day. Cofer s strong opinions against these stereotypes is
made clear throughout the story as she explains random instances she remembers of how others view
Latin girls and how the media often objectifies women comparing them to Hot Tamales and other

The United States Involvement
Since the early 1900s the United States has been embroiled in Iranian affairs, something that would
have great effects both in 1979 and now. The United States interest in Iran was originally spurred by
the discovery of oil, but due to the Cold War U.S. interest in Iran grew even more for strategic
reasons. To continue to exert their influence in Iran, the United States, through the CIA, installed shah
Pahlavi as ruler. The shah was a cruel and strict dictator and was eventually overthrown and exiled. In
place of the shah, an Islamic Republic came to power under the rule of Ayatollah Khomeini.

The Importance Of Recreational Hunting In Australia
Since they were introduced for recreational hunting in the mid 1800s, foxes have spread across most
of Australia. They have played a major role in the decline of a number of species of native animals and
they also prey on newborn lambs. In the past, methods have been used to reduce fox numbers in the
wild in the hopes to achieve a fox free country, however those techniques such as employing bounty
hunters, were rarely effective. Various methods such as hunting seem to have little impact on
European Red Fox numbers and thus won t help to cure the damage that the invasive species caused.

The Importance Of Compural Characters In The Hobbit
The Hobbit is a great fantasy novel. It has many great aspects. Such as, a vast amount of supernatural
beings, including trolls, that are only found within fantasy novels. In addition, the plot of the novel has
the classic struggle between a kind and courageous protagonist and an evil and sinister antagonist.
Lastly, The Hobbit contains one element that all can agree is only found within the realm of fantasy.
Magic. The unique characteristics found in The Hobbit make it a prime example of the fantasy genre.
Firstly, supernatural beings are generally only found in the realm of fantasy. The vast number of
supernatural beings within The Hobbit justifies it being a fantasy novel. While there are many aspects
that make up a fantasy novel, it is usually broken down into a couple of elements. For instance, Nicola
Alter, an author for the website Thoughts on Fantasy , states, ...but ultimately, I find a fantasy novel or
film is easiest to recognize by one or all of these three elements: imaginary worlds, magical powers,
supernatural (Alter). One of these elements, as stated by Alter, is the supernatural. In addition, there
are many points in The Hobbit where supernatural beings make an appearance. Such as, when Tolkien
describes what the protagonist sees after beginning his adventure, And this what he saw. Three large
persons sitting round a very large fire of beech logs... they were trolls (Tolkien 51). Trolls are found
quite early in the story, and such a creature is

Shrek Vs Donkey Analysis
While this comedic scene from Shrek , can be easily overlooked, there is deeper meaning within the
dialogue between Shrek and Donkey. At this point in the movie, Shrek is explaining to Donkey that
there is more to himself than meets the eye, like an onion, there are layers to his personality and what
people may see on the surface is different from the inner layers of himself. However, an onion is often
seen as something gross and undesirable. In return, Donkey assures Shrek that he s rather like a parfait
because parfaits are delicious and delectable. In the end, the difference between the two comparisons
is perspective. Moreover, Donkey saw the depth of Shrek s personality as a good thing, whereas Shrek
didn t think of it that way. And, in ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
While I coached various different contests that season, Ryan Henne who competed in Junior High
Public Speaking, stood out among the rest. On the first day that I watched Ryan give his speech for the
first time, I saw my 7th grade self within him. He was monotone and passive in the delivery of his
speech, even though he d known the content like the back of his hand. Over the course of the next few
months, I had the opportunity to teach Ryan some of the same speaking techniques I learned from
Parliamentary Procedure years prior. Though it took some work, by the time regionals came in
February, he exuded confidence and passion. As he walked across the stage at the Wharton Center and
received 6th place in the state, I was more proud of him in that instant than I was when I received 4th
at nationals. Although nationals to many would seem to be a more prestigious award, my perspective
changed and developed. I now could see the bigger picture, and while Ryan did not win, he grew
immensely over those three and a half months and I could not have been more proud of him. On that
day, everything in my life fell into place. The emotions I felt from being able to help Ryan grow, I
made the decision that for the rest of my life I want to be the Donkey figure for others and help them
growth and to hopefully see themselves from a

The Suffering Servant Of Isaiah 52 And 53
THE SUFFERING SERVANT OF ISAIAH 52 AND 53
The book of Isaiah provides a message to the nation of Israel and is one of the most powerful books of
prophecy in the Bible. The prophet spoke of events to come that many have attempted to discern.
Scholars, Rabbis and Christian Clergy differ in their interpretations of these passages in Isaiah 52 and
53.
This paper will address these biblical passages in Isaiah 52 and 53, which describes a suffering servant
to the Lord God. There has been a debate as to whether these passages where describing the Messiah
who would come to restore Israel as God s chosen people or if the passage was describing the nation
of Israel as the suffering servant . Christian scholars and clergy view these passages as describing
Jesus who they affirm as the Messiah. The text is written in a poetic form and flows from one subject
to another, however, many view these passages as being extremely detailed prophecy about the
Messiah to come. I will point out key passages and explain how these passages provide clarity about
whom the writer was speaking. This paper will point out why Jesus is the suffering servant , who is
mentioned in Isaiah and explain why the suffering servant is not the nation of Israel as others propose.

Marching Band As A Sport
Irene was a high school student involved in the marching band. Before high school, students bullied
Irene due to her weight of two hundred pounds. Irene played the clarinet, but she was not sure if she
wanted to join the marching band. The dark memories of people berating her physical appearance
scared her into thinking that her fellow band mates would do the same. Irene desperately wanted to get
into shape so she joined a sport, but knew she was not fit enough for any of the typical ball sports. She
eventually realized that the only sport remaining was marching band.
However, people argue that marching band is not a sport. What is a sport? According to Wood the
definition of a sport involves physical activity and skill where an individual/team competes against
another individual/team and has a set of rules or customs. Marching band is a sport because it involves
a lot of physical activity, rules and competition. The argument against categorizing marching band as a
sport is the typical conditioning a normal sports team would are slightly different.
Irene thought wrong about her teammates bullying her, instead they rallied around her and made her
feel welcome. With marching she was able to get into shape. In the process, she had made 120 or more
friends that she could count on. Marching band is a welcoming sport and open to everyone and anyone
who is willing to work. When someone is in marching band they are part of something big. The people
in that band do not only

Similarities Between Dracula And Wide Sargasso Sea
Dracula by Bram Stoker and Wide Sargasso Sea by Jean Rhys published in 1897 and 1966
respectively, both echo public and private societal expectations of women at the time. Stoker s novel
was written during the birth of first wave feminism, a period where women were beginning to be seen
as more than sexual objects for male pleasure. Women campaigned for female agency which resulted
in the birth of the new woman . Similarly, Rhys novel focuses on the discrimination faced as a Creole
woman suffering from mental illness. Thus, the ways in which both authors convey significant themes
such as racism, gender disparity and social class can be compared in further detail. Initially, the titles
of both novels also provide a strong grounding to understanding the status of women at the time. Rhys
novel refers to the Sargasso Sea, located in the Atlantic Ocean. This is known for the infamous
Bermuda Triangle, described as an oceanic black hole where ships disappear under mysterious
circumstances. One interpretation of this title could imply that characters may be imprisoned in their
personal Bermuda Triangle , where Antoinette grapples with her racial identity as a white Creole.
Furthermore, the Sargassum is a weed native to the Sargasso Sea, which was symbolic of neglect,
devastation, and disorder. [1] This echoes the sentiments of the protagonist of the novella, Antoinette.
Antoinette embodies the inherent misogyny prevalent during the 20th Century, where women were
often reduced

New Approaches to Software Testing Essay
INTRODUCTION
Software Testing can be termed as process of validating and verifying a computer program with intent
to check whether it meets the requirements which guided in design and development, ensure that
system works as expected, system is implemented with desired characteristics and satisfies the needs
of its stake holders. This process consumes nearly 50% of product development costs, hence is a
costly and time consuming process. The growing complexity of modern software applications has
triggered tester s interest in leveraging new approaches to improve software quality.
Software Testing is classified into following types based on the various criteria:

Test process models classify testing process based on the various Software Development Lifecycle
models adopted in development process like Waterfall model, Spiral model, Agile model, Test driven
development. The testing includes the corresponding tailored models of testing for the model used in
SDLC.
Software testing is intended to find errors and defects during the software product development.
Therefore sufficient effort is required to ensure that system is in line with the requirements of the
corresponding phase. Manual generation of test cases and applying them on the System under Test
(SUT) is a laborious process and depends on skill and expertise of the tester performing the process of
testing. A test Engineer has to keep track of several issues during testing like what test cases shall
exercise the program, ensure maximum coveragability, determine whether adequate testing has been
done, check whether sufficient test cases are available to meet the testing requirements on time,
approaches and methods involved in testing, extent of automation in testing etc.. As the above process
involves much human intervention, the efficacy of the process is not consistent.
To ensure the better outcome as for the result of the efforts, the process of software testing needs to be
automated. Automation of software testing involves testing the software with robust

Summary Of Letter From Birmingham Jail By Elizabeth Costello
For almost any right movement, or important period of time, in the history of the world, there are
readings that will correlate with these movements. For example, during the Civil Rights Movement
there was Letter from Birmingham Jail by Martin Luther King Jr., for the feminism movement, there
was Riot Grrrl Manifesto, and so many more important readings that go along with important
movements. These readings all have one common thing in common, they call for action in some part
of the movement. In The Lives of Animals by J.M. Coetzee, there are some points made by Elizabeth
Costello, the main character of the novella that could be used to represent the views that this group
believes in. Elizabeth Costello is a vegetarian, which she strongly ... Show more content on

Reincarnation is the belief that after one dies they will be reborn into another living being. Looking at
Costello s beliefs from this standpoint, Doniger argues that the Hindus for a while believed in not
eating meat because they had the possibility of being reborn as what they were eating (i.e. a cow, a
pig). Since she looked at it from this viewpoint, it is reasonable to believe that it is odd for people to
be eating what they could become in the future, and they will be spited for doing so. Along with
becoming an animal that they have eaten in their previous life, these people would eventually become
food for other people, and this is where the belief in karma kicks in, what comes around goes

Roosevelt Four Freedom Ceremony Analysis
For about 40,000 people including women who were sexually abused by the rebel forces were then
treated by a man named Doctor Denis Mukwege, he has run funding communities for this sexual
violence act to end for the safety of his country. His main focus for his work is to treat for those in
need and to end gang rape as a war weapon in his country. Greetings everyone, I am grateful to have
the opportunity to represent why Doctor Denis Mukwege is worthy enough to have this Nobel Peace
Prize.
As Dr. Mukwege mentions in his speech at the Roosevelt Four Freedom Ceremony, It is time to
engage men and boys, with women and girls, in the struggle to end patriarchal discrimination and
gender based abuses. It is time to draw a red line against rape as a weapon of war, as a weapon of
oppression. It is time to unite and act together for our common humanity, towards freedom from want
globally. Dr. Mukwege mentions about how rape is used as a war weapon in his country and want the
best for it to stop. This proves that Dr. Mukwege will do anything for his country s safety and is
worthy of the Nobel Peace Prize. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Dysfunction In American Beauty
American Beauty What is it saying about the pursuit of the American Dream?
The portrayal of an American family as shown in the movie, American Beauty, is one of dysfunction.
In fact, the homosexual couple is the only family that seem to display somewhat normal behavior. As a
non traditional family, the homosexual couple appear connected, loving, and very happy. Most
importantly, they demonstrate great respect for each other, something the heterosexual families do not.
This non traditional family is seen in small doses throughout the movie. However, the families that are
prominently displayed for the majority of the movie are The Burnhams and The Fitts; the so called
normal family unit. What is striking about this display of normalcy ... Show more content on

The Burnhams strive to follow a modern version of the American Dream . The father, Lester, has
taken a passive role in the family and is viewed as feeble by both his daughter and wife. His wife,
Carolyn, sees herself as a strong and independent working woman. Her own insecurities become more
obvious throughout the film. She must have a beautiful single family home in a suburban
neighborhood, a successful career, and a display of perfectly groomed roses that line her fence.
Carolyn has insecurities that run deep. She often catches herself in a weak, emotional moment where
she feels inferior. A quote from Carolyn, My company sells an image. It s part of my job to live that
image. I interpreted this quote as how she views life on a global scale. This is her American Dream
and her own happiness. Janey Burnham, Lester and Carolyn s daughter, is shown at the beginning of
the film viewing articles online for breast augmentation. This reveals her low self esteem and desire
towards a perfect image. Janey feels as though she doesn t live up to the standards of what a young
teenager should look like. Throughout the film, the viewer sees Janey redefine her idea of perfection
and her growing sense of

Inclusive nations are exceedingly democratic and create legislation to benefit the majority, while extractive institutions are authoritative and limit the benefits to a small minority (84 89). A country s political institution affects the accessibility to digital literature because of the improvement it enables. Digital literature provides an accessible form of education that allows for people to not only research, but it also makes it easier to come upon a sense of self identity. • 5. Rupert Dickinson And Emily Dickinson War poetry displays an accurate representation of the sensations felt during the horrid times of battle. In the novel The Catcher in the Rye, by J.D. Salinger, D.B. asks Allie, who was the best war poet, Rupert Brooke or Emily Dickinson (140). The question proposed can be answered with many different opinions, as the individual s knowledge and understanding of each poet will impact their decision. In contrast to Rupert Brooke, Emily Dickinson is clearly the superior war poet as she portrays soldiers and the idea of death in an insightful manner, which causes the reader to go beyond their comprehension of the words to recognize the full potential of the poem. Soldiers are an essential aspect of war poetry, as they play the role of the protagonist through the theme of the poem, generally. Therefore, Dickinson displays soldiers as heroic figures, which should be celebrated and honored, as they sacrifice their lives for the freedom of others. For instance, This Spartan put away/ What little of Him, writes Dickinson, we possessed/ In Pawn for Liberty (line 6 8, 444 ); Spartans died heroically in their doomed stand against a huge invasion by the Persian army. Evidently, citizens possess soldiers more as a commodity to be spent for the liberty of civilian safety; Dickinson cleverly highlights this idea within her poem by alluding to the Spartans. Therefore, Dickinson s ability to represent the soldiers is effective, as her, inner violence confronted outer violence... ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

How does the nation of Babylon portray the Bible s accurate history and reliable prophecy. We ll start with history. When Jerusalem was finally free of Assyrian rule, the Babylonians conquered them about a hundred years later because of Israel being unfaithful again, but, that s a story for another day. In Daniel 5:1 it states that As regards King Bel·shaz′zar, he held a great feast for a thousand of his nobles, and he was drinking wine in front of them. But some scholars say that, even though he was an official he was actually not king of Babylon. But recently a series of cylinders were uncovered where King Nabonidus states a prayer of his eldest son Belshazzar. Even more recently so, evidence shows that Belshazzar served as a regent and as a co ruler. Which would make sense because he offered the prophet Daniel the role as the third ruler of the kingdom because he was the second one himself, The Bible also portrays Babylon as a very religious nation, along with Astrology and Divination. When the Babylonian king Nebuchadnezzar decided he wanted to lay siege to Jerusalem he looked into the liver. Why? That is due to the Babylonian belief that organs were used to gather omens. In fact all the dried livers were inscribed with omens. Children Should Make Our Children Every parent wants to have a healthy perfect child, but without vaccines we would have so many sick children that could die from the diseases that are out there today. If we all make sure our children have their vaccines we would save more lives, save money so that we are not trying to treat the diseases, and protect the future generations from the new diseases. When deciding whether or not to have our children get these vaccines, think about all the good things they do rather than the bad. No one wants to lose a loved one that has just passed of old age let alone passed because of something that could have been prevented by just a simple vaccine. All parents of children should make sure that they receive their vaccines because it will change people s lives, save our country a lot of money, and protect our future generations. Clearly, there are still plenty of people out there that are not vaccinated and they cannot wait too long to get their vaccines. The Center of Disease Control estimated that 732,000 American children were saved from death and 322 million cases of childhood illnesses were prevented between 1994 and 2014 due to vaccinations (Loria, 2014). Our country needs to come together to try to make our parents understand why we are pushing to have their children vaccinated so soon. If that goal is unattainable a practical goal is stabilizing the safety of the patient and others as well as substantially improving the number, intensity, and frequency of symptoms. To achieve these treatment goals studies have shown the best treatment is a combination of medication and psychotherapy (Alpert Spillmann, 1997). The use of the selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) Fluoxetine has shown moderate to large improvement in the reduction of impulsive aggressive behavior. The goal of the Fluoxetine is to balance out the altered serotonin levels that are commonly altered in individuals with IED (Coccaro, M.D., 2012). In addition to medication cognitive behavioral therapy has been shown to reduce impulsive aggression, anger, and hostile automatic thoughts. The therapies used include relaxation training, cognitive restructuring, and coping skills training. The rates of full remission from IED were 29% with fluoxetine alone and 33% from cognitive behavioral therapy alone. When combined the treatments are more effective for sustained remission because they work through different mechanisms (Coccaro, M.D., 2012). • 14. The Characteristics Of Witchcraft In Early Modem Europe Witchcraft in Early Modem Europe was perceived with mixed attitudes by the society. People in the 16th and 17th centuries accepted witchcraft when it worked to help them, but saw it as a satanic practice when it failed. Although it was socially acceptable for people to seek for advice or help from witches, it was taboo for witches to use magic as it was linked to devil worship and other beliefs that went against the Christian faith. Furthermore, women accused of sorcery were often unable to receive a fair trial as demonstrated by the leading questions that were posed and the acts of torture that led to forced confessions. During a period of religious and political turmoil, the Trial of Tempel Anneke illustrates the fact that society was not so much concerned with the truth, but rather convicted these women because of their marginalized role in society caused by social disposition. Furthermore, it can be suggested that while it was acceptable for people to inquire about magic, the law heavily punished those who would practice witchcraft. It is evident that Tempel Anneke displays the typical characteristics of an accused witch an older female figure that was perceived as a burden to society and offered little in return. Anneke was a widower who lost her husband who during the Thirty Years War and depended on her son s financial assistance. Furthermore, she was informally trained by her mother as a naturopathic healer and used her healing skills to help cure people and animals in her community by using herbs and other plants. Anneke had not been accused of witchcraft while her neighbors had hired her for medicinal purposes on a regular basis until the case of Hans Kholer because of the harmful magic she was accused of employing that led to fear and resentment towards her. Lastly, society s perceptions of women during the time furthered their inability to prove their innocence through a fair trial. It was a widely held belief that women were of weak understanding, and are hence more likely to be ensnared by the lies and illusions of the Devil (pg. xxxvi). Society s prejudice towards women, especially elderly women dependent on society, predetermined the fate of the women charged for witchcraft; the court of ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The Legal Approach Of The American Constitution The Legal Approach: This approach is very tricky to control the president, and therefore, it is very important to block and prevent any tyrannical regime because it is all about laws and legislatures. In here, the American constitution is very important and leads the way. It shows that how the constitution plays a role in presidency. Through this, the significant advantage of this approach is that the president and his or her presidency is controlled by the constitution, laws, legal precedents and customs. The legal approach limits the power of the president, and put some boundaries of the presidential warrant, reach and powers to prevent any tyrannical kind of regimes. This approach also determines that how a president uses his or her authority with other branches of the federal government, such as judiciary, the congress and bureaucracy. The Institutional Approach: The Institutional Approach is a traditional old and significant one that affects the attitudes of the president towards the institution of the presidency. Because of this, this approach deals with legislature, executive, judiciary, political parties, interest groups, and the president himself/herself. In the end, the difference between the two comparisons is perspective. Moreover, Donkey saw the depth of Shrek s personality as a good thing, whereas Shrek didn t think of it that way. And, in ... On the first day that I watched Ryan give his speech for the first time, I saw my 7th grade self within him. He was monotone and passive in the delivery of his speech, even though he d known the content like the back of his hand. Over the course of the next few months, I had the opportunity to teach Ryan some of the same speaking techniques I learned from Parliamentary Procedure years prior. Though it took some work, by the time regionals came in February, he exuded confidence and passion. As he walked across the stage at the Wharton Center and received 6th place in the state, I was more proud of him in that instant than I was when I received 4th at nationals. Although nationals to many would seem to be a more prestigious award, my perspective changed and developed. I now could see the bigger picture, and while Ryan did not win, he grew immensely over those three and a half months and I could not have been more proud of him. On that day, everything in my life fell into place. The emotions I felt from being able to help Ryan grow, I made the decision that for the rest of my life I want to be the Donkey figure for others and help them growth and to hopefully see themselves from a ... The Suffering Servant Of Isaiah 52 And 53 THE SUFFERING SERVANT OF ISAIAH 52 AND 53 The book of Isaiah provides a message to the nation of Israel and is one of the most powerful books of prophecy in the Bible. The prophet spoke of events to come that many have attempted to discern. Scholars, Rabbis and Christian Clergy differ in their interpretations of these passages in Isaiah 52 and 53. This paper will address these biblical passages in Isaiah 52 and 53, which describes a suffering servant to the Lord God. There has been a debate as to whether these passages where describing the Messiah who would come to restore Israel as God s chosen people or if the passage was describing the nation of Israel as the suffering servant . Christian scholars and clergy view these passages as describing Jesus who they affirm as the Messiah. The text is written in a poetic form and flows from one subject to another, however, many view these passages as being extremely detailed prophecy about the Messiah to come. I will point out key passages and explain how these passages provide clarity about whom the writer was speaking. This paper will point out why Jesus is the suffering servant , who is mentioned in Isaiah and explain why the suffering servant is not the nation of Israel as others propose. • 27. Similarities Between Dracula And Wide Sargasso Sea Dracula by Bram Stoker and Wide Sargasso Sea by Jean Rhys published in 1897 and 1966 respectively, both echo public and private societal expectations of women at the time. Stoker s novel was written during the birth of first wave feminism, a period where women were beginning to be seen as more than sexual objects for male pleasure. Women campaigned for female agency which resulted in the birth of the new woman . Similarly, Rhys novel focuses on the discrimination faced as a Creole woman suffering from mental illness. Thus, the ways in which both authors convey significant themes such as racism, gender disparity and social class can be compared in further detail. Initially, the titles of both novels also provide a strong grounding to understanding the status of women at the time. Rhys novel refers to the Sargasso Sea, located in the Atlantic Ocean. This is known for the infamous Bermuda Triangle, described as an oceanic black hole where ships disappear under mysterious circumstances. One interpretation of this title could imply that characters may be imprisoned in their personal Bermuda Triangle , where Antoinette grapples with her racial identity as a white Creole. Furthermore, the Sargassum is a weed native to the Sargasso Sea, which was symbolic of neglect, devastation, and disorder. [1] This echoes the sentiments of the protagonist of the novella, Antoinette. Antoinette embodies the inherent misogyny prevalent during the 20th Century, where women were often reduced ... Manual generation of test cases and applying them on the System under Test (SUT) is a laborious process and depends on skill and expertise of the tester performing the process of testing. A test Engineer has to keep track of several issues during testing like what test cases shall exercise the program, ensure maximum coveragability, determine whether adequate testing has been done, check whether sufficient test cases are available to meet the testing requirements on time, approaches and methods involved in testing, extent of automation in testing etc.. As the above process involves much human intervention, the efficacy of the process is not consistent. Looking at Costello s beliefs from this standpoint, Doniger argues that the Hindus for a while believed in not eating meat because they had the possibility of being reborn as what they were eating (i.e. a cow, a pig). Since she looked at it from this viewpoint, it is reasonable to believe that it is odd for people to be eating what they could become in the future, and they will be spited for doing so. The portrayal of an American family as shown in the movie, American Beauty, is one of dysfunction. In fact, the homosexual couple is the only family that seem to display somewhat normal behavior.
