dark and lonely which is something a human can feel and relate to.
Gray expresses, in late ferry, a human experience captured by the language technique of symbolism,
this is of colour. In this text, gray uses the colour of yellow to express light, and sun, and to emphasis
the preciousness of the colour yellow, which also symbolises gold. In this text, gray conveys yellow as
the happy colour of the light, which is more natural and sweet to him, especially compared the fake
lights and colours of the city.

Especially for people who travel for business. Both industries faced many challenge as well. The
report in both 2012 and 2013 hotel industry is expected to have a steady RevPAR (Revenue per
available room). There is also an increase of 0.5 to 60.4 percent. It is mostly like that the hotel
business forecast for the next ten years will be more like to grow. In the restaurant market, people

The past few weeks have been tough and definitely not what I was expecting of an ethics unit. Week
in, week out I find myself stumped by questions I don t have the answers to. However more than ever

The community I will be focusing on is my church community. The name of the church is called
Intense Deep Bible Church and it was pastored by Willard Abena. About 5 years ago, there was a
controversy in the church which sparked division in the church and also causing the pastor to be
suspended. At this time, the issue was explained thoroughly to the church congregation and a lot of
people were not happy with the results. Whilst the issue was being explained to the church
congregation, the youths and children were asked to leave the church and at that point in time, I was
considered a youth. So I was not able to figure out what was going on and why I haven t seen my
pastor in church for a very long time, until I became and adult at the age of 18.
When I became an adult, I came to the realization that the pastor was removed due to him making
some personal spiritual mistakes which were never disclosed to the public congregation and was not

Stepdaughters and Love Medicine
Family is interpreted many different ways by many different people. In these two stories
Stepdaughters by Max Apple and Love Medicine by Louise Erdrich, we will view the family
dynamics differences and similarities. In the story Stepdaughters our author paints a very vivid image
of a broken family. Starting with the death of our character Stephanie s father when she was a very
small child, but also the fact that her mother Helen had remarried several times clues us in to their
incompletion as a whole family. Apple clearly states the newest stepdad saying, I m stepdad number
three trying to stay on the sidelines (129).A nonparticipant parent would suggest that he really is not
sure if he is going to be around to much longer. In our story Love Medicine our author also paints an
image of a broken family. Our character Lipsha comes from a dysfunctional background only to be
cared for in what may seem to others as a dysfunctional situation as well. Starting out as a youth he
was told his mother did not want him, only to be cared for by someone who never lets him forget he
was rescued by her. Grandma Kashpaw would tell him he was the biggest waste on the planet and she
