A PEST analysis examines the political, economic, social, and technological factors that influence an organization's operating environment. It is important for organizations to consider these PEST factors in their marketing planning and environmental analysis on an ongoing basis. The acronym PEST stands for Political, Economic, Social, and Technological factors. Some key aspects to consider under each factor include laws and regulations (Political), economic growth rates and spending power (Economic), cultural and religious attitudes (Social), and innovations in technology (Technological).

Opportunities are positive chances created by external factors that a company can utilize and earn a competitive advantage while threats are negative conditions created by external forces that can affect the companies operation. For Nike Company, there are several environmental forces that will affect the company either positively or negatively. In order to analyze the macro-environmental factors that will affect Nike Company, PESTEL analysis will be used; thus the factors to be analyzed will be; political factors, economic factors, social factors, technological factors, environmental factors, legal factors and ethical factors (Okoye 2017).

Political factors involves the degree to which a government intervenes in the economy and this can include; government policies, political stability or instability in foreign markets, tax policy, foreign trade policy environmental laws, labor laws and trade restrictions among others. Secondly, economic Factors are factors have a significant impact on how a firm does business and also determines the profitability and includes; economic growth, exchange rates, inflation and interest rates among others. Thirdly are social factors which involve beliefs and attitudes of population and includes population growth, age distribution, career attitudes among others. The fourth aspect is Technological factors which affect marketing and management by deriving new ways of production and distribution of goods and services and also new ways of accessing and communicating with target markets. Environmental factors are also important due to factors such as carbon footprint targets set by governments, scarcity of raw materials and operating business as an ethical and Sustainale Company. Also, there are legal issues which include advertising standards, product labeling and product safety, consumes rights and laws among others. Finally, ethical factors which involves issues such as fair trade, slavery acts and child labor among others

Introduction
To my understanding crime is any act that violates written criminal law. We all, in our societies, see crimes, such as robbery, assault, rape, murder, burglary, and embezzlement, as deviant. Therefore, it is the behavior that goes against all the norms, values and expectations of the society. Law is formally created to regulate the behavior of its members of the society, this is known as formal social control. Why do people violate laws or norms, and how the society reacts to such kind of acts? Usually, people argued that criminals who are considered a member of any society violates the rules or the law because the authorities do not provide them with the basic human needs to live a normal life so, they tend to satisfy their needs by committing crimes. On the other hand, others argued that some people on the societies have some physiological problems that they got from the nature of the environment they lived in which may lead to deviant behavior.
In this essay, I will fully investigate whether different societies and authorities grant criminals their human rights. My research question is “to what extent do the rights of criminals influence the society and its culture?” In this essay, I have broken down this topic into components that are related to each other to answer the research question. Firstly, I will explore the concept of crime and its effect on the culture and the society. Also, I will investigate whether both societies and authorities provide their members the necessary means to achieve culturally valued goals to prevent deviant behavior. Secondly, I will look into both concepts of society and it’s culture that is exhibited into pattern of values, ideas, norms and it is relation to abnormal behavior that is displayed by some member of society. Further, I will discuss whether criminals are given their rights as members of the society and whether these rights will help the criminals to change their unaccepted behavior after their release from prison or these given rights to the criminals may lead another member of the society to deviant criminal behavior. Finally, I will examine a case study of two criminals that lived in different societies with one given his full rights and the other did not get any of his rights. All these questions will be fully investigated and analyzed.

Published classroom materials form the basis of syllabuses, drive teacher professional development, and have a potentially huge influence on learners, teachers and education systems. All teachers also create their own materials, whether a few sentences on a blackboard, a highly-structured fully-realised online course, or anything in between. Despite this, the knowledge and skills needed to create effective language learning materials are rarely part of teacher training, and are mostly learnt by trial and error.
Knowledge and skills frameworks, generally called competency frameworks, for ELT teachers, trainers and managers have existed for a few years now. However, until I created one for my MA dissertation, there wasn’t one drawing together what we need to know and do to be able to effectively produce language learning materials.
This webinar will introduce you to my framework, highlighting the key competencies I identified from my research. It will also show how anybody involved in language teaching (any language, not just English!), teacher training, managing schools or developing language learning materials can benefit from using the framework.
