  2. 2. What is SWOT<br />SWOT is an acronym for strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.<br />Strengths of a person/business/country can give rise to opportunities. Example, a person is good at numbers will have opportunities in Accounting, Banking, etc.<br />Weaknesses of a person/business/country can give rise to threats. A person can address or avoid his/her weaknesses. For example, a person who is weak in numbers can improve his/her ability with numbers for a career in Accounting or simply avoid this career (don’t try to improve)<br />
  3. 3. Quiz<br />Why should person/businesses/countries be aware of their strengths and weaknesses?<br />Peter Drucker said, “Its better to be excellent at what you are good at, than mediocre at what you are average/poor at”. What do you think he means?<br />

If you do this, you will become “mediocre at what you’re poor or average at”<br />-In your spare time, you can address your weaknesses.<br />-Choose a career at what you’re good at, so you have a change to be excellent (and don’t waste time).<br />
