This two-page document provides instructions for sharing screens and files during a WebEx meeting. It outlines two options for sharing one's screen by either clicking the Quick Start tab and selecting Share Screen, or going to the Share menu and choosing My Screen. Instructions are also given for sharing files by going to the Share menu and selecting File, then browsing one's computer to select the file to share. Howto Share Screen and Files
In this guide, you will learn how to:
1. Share your screen
2. Share files
NOTE: The sharing feature (screens, applications, or files) enables you and your participants to see the same thing
at the same time (e.g., same slide in a PowerPoint). It is different from File transfer, which enables your
participants to save the file to their own computers.
Part 1: Sharing Your Screen
Option 1
1. Start your WebEx meeting.
2. Click the Quick Start tab.
3. Click Share Screen.
Option 2
You can also share your screen by going to Share and choose My Screen.
To stop sharing your screen.
1. Move your cursor to the top middle.
2. Click the red Stop Sharing button.
If you have more than one monitor, you will
be prompted to select a monitor to share.

Part 2: Sharing Files
During your WebEx meeting, you can also share files such as documents, presentations, or videos that is saved on
your computer. Participants will be able to view the shared file in their content viewers.
1. Go to Share, and choose File (including video)
2. Browse your computer for the file you want to share.
3. Select the file, and open it.
Note: You (and your students) can use all the annotations tools on PowerPoint Slides, MS work or PDF
documents.
