The document summarizes audience feedback from questionnaires about a television documentary, double page article, and radio trailer on health and fitness. Key findings include:
1) The documentary was rated as highly attention-holding, with sound levels and shots framed appropriately. Interviews were seen as informative.
2) The double page article was well-put together and used common conventions, though some felt more color could be included.
3) Feedback was also collected on the radio trailer, but no results were reported. The document reviewed audience feedback to evaluate and improve their work.

A Strategic Approach: GenAI in EducationPeter Windle
Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.
The French Revolution, which began in 1789, was a period of radical social and political upheaval in France. It marked the decline of absolute monarchies, the rise of secular and democratic republics, and the eventual rise of Napoleon Bonaparte. This revolutionary period is crucial in understanding the transition from feudalism to modernity in Europe.

G324: Documentary
Evaluation
Question 3: What have you learned from your audience
feedback?
2. Introduction
When completing the research and planning process of our project, we
created a questionnaire to develop an understanding of our target
audience. Plus, we wanted to identify what features and information
audiences would like to know about ‘Health & Fitness’ in a television
documentary. In our initial questionnaire we asked males and females
aged 20-50+ if they were knowledgeable about the topic to see if, and
how we could help inform our audiences. This questionnaire lead us to
define a level of information and guidance in our documentary, which
worked very well. On the back of this success, we thought it would be
appropriate to create an additional questionnaire for the purpose of
gaining an understanding of audience feedback in relation to our
documentary, radio trailer and magazine article. We questioned a large
group of people in our target audience to feedback information about
our products.
3. Television Documentary
We questioned our audience, ‘On On a scale of 1 - 10, how well would
a scale of 1 - 10, how well would you say the documentary held your

your attention?’. The results from 7
this were very pleasing. All of the
audience feedback was rated 6- 6
10, who said that the
documentary held their attention. 5
The majority of the audience
4
suggested that the documentary
was on a scale of 8 for holding 3
their attention. This was very
successful and we feel as if our 2
documentary definitely holds
significant content within the 1
opening five minutes. 0

4. Television Documentary
We asked our target audience Did you find that the sound levels

simple yes or no question, ‘Did
14
you find that the sound levels
were balanced and even?’. The 12
response from this was
overwhelming for ‘yes’ 12 people 10
said that they were balanced and
a small minority of 2 people said 8
no they were not. From this it is
clear that our sound levels were 6
well thought out and strong. The
4
minority shows that they may
need a little tweaking in places. 2

This basic question ‘Did you find Did you find that you could relate to

documentary?’ was asked to
16
ensure we had targeted our
audience precisely. The result was 14
as expected and 100% of the
audience response was ‘yes’. 12
Therefore, our documentary fits 10
its target audience perfectly and
our research and planning tasks 8
had all worked in our favor to
6
create a strong and targeted
documentary. 4

audience feedback to see if this
16
was effectively used and well
composed so we asked ‘Were the 14
colours managed effectively?
12
‘. The response was clear, 100% of
the audience said ‘yes’, which 10
illustrates that our colours were
appropriate and not too 8

we wanted to achieve in our
documentary. 4

7. Television Documentary
Due to targeting an adult audience
we wanted to develop a somewhat Do you think that the tone of the

documentary. We asked our
audience ‘Do you think that the 14
tone of the documentary is
sophisticated?’ We had a positive 12
response from this question, the
majority (12 People), expressed 10
that our documentary was
sophisticated. However a minority
(2 people), said that our 8
documentary was not
sophisticated. The response suggest 6
that we had a strong sense of
sophistication, however in parts
this could have been improved. 4
Overall, we set out to achieve a
sophisticated tone and we feel this 2
was achieved, predominantly
through an authoritative voiceover. 0

8. Television Documentary
In our documentary we took a lot Do you think that the shots for
of time and attention to detail to
create well framed compositions the documentary were framed
abiding by the rule of thirds. appropriately?
Whether this was in the editing or 16
filming process it was one of the
main factors which we took in to 14
account. So, when asking for 12
audience feedback we felt it
essential to ask ‘Do you think that 10
the shots for the documentary
were framed appropriately?’. The 8
response was clear, 100% of the 6
audience said the shots were
framed appropriately, therefore 4
showing that the effort and
2
attention we underwent was
successful. 0

The final question we asked our Do you think that the expert

television documentary was, ‘Do

you think that the expert
16
interview extracts were
informative and useful?’. We 14
asked this due to wanting a high
12
level of information to be
presented to an intelligent and 10
understanding audience. The
8
response was successful 100% of
our audience said yes, therefore 6
showing that we had planned our 4
expert interview questions and
documentary structure 2
appropriately. 0

related to our double page spread
to gain some feedback. The first 7
question we asked was ‘On a 6
scale of 1 - 10, how well would
you say the double page spread 5
article has been put together?’
The results for this were 4
successful, the majority of the 3
audience voted for 8, suggesting
that the double page spread was 2

wanting a high level of 14
professionalism in our work and
12
we thought it would be good to
gain an understanding of how 10
well we achieved this. Our
8
audience response was
brilliant, audiences voted 100% 6
‘yes’, suggesting that our double 4

12. Double Page Spread Article
The final question we posed to Stylistically, do you find that the use
our audience in relation to our of colour is appropriate?
double page spread was
12
‘Stylistically, do you find that the
use of colour is appropriate?’, we
asked this question due to our 10
lack of colour in our design and
the only colour was from stills. 8
Considering this, the majority of
our audience (10 people) said 6
that the colour was appropriate
and a minority said no (4 people). 4
This shows that our use of colour
seemed professional, but maybe 2
due to the topic we could have
introduced more colour in parts 0
of our double page spread.

13. Radio Trailer
As well as asking our audience for On a scale of 1 - 10, how well would
feed back on the television
documentary and double page you say the radio trail article has

an understanding of audience 7
feedback in relation to our radio
trailer. The first question we posed 6
for our audience was, ‘On a scale of
1 - 10, how well would you say the 5
radio trail article has been put
together?’. The results from this 4
were very successful, the majority
of our audience voted for 8 and all 3
of our audience questioned voted
for 7 or above. This suggests that 2
our radio trailers structure was
successful in delivering information 1
as an appealing factor to our
audience. 0

14. Radio Trailer
We wanted to develop an Do you feel inclined or persuaded to

our television documentary, so
16
we asked ‘Do you feel inclined or
persuaded to watch the 14
documentary after listening to
12
the radio trailer?’. The response
to this was extremely 10
successful, 100% of our audience
8
said yes. This illustrates that the
connection between our radio 6
trailer and television 4
documentary is significant and
appeals to our target audience. 2

15. Radio Trailer
We wanted to be precise in the Do you think that there are enough
use of extracts from our television extracts used in the trailer?
documentary, so we asked our
14
audience, ‘Do you think that
there are enough extracts used in 12
the trailer?’. The response from
this was strong; the high majority 10
of the target audience responded
yes and a small minority of 2 8
people said no. This illustrates
that we used the appropriate 6
amount of extracts but there may
have been room for one or two 4
more in places, but on a whole
2
the radio trailer was composed
with a significant amount of 0
extracts.
yes no
16. Radio Trailer
The final question we posed to Do you believe that the radio trail
our audience was, ‘Do you believe uses common conventions?
that the radio trail uses common
16
conventions?’. We asked this
question due to the amount of 14
research we did in to the
conventions of radio trailers and 12
we wanted to ensure that we had 10
applied these frameworks to our
media product. The response 8
from this was highly
6
successful, 100% of the audience
said yes. This shows that we had 4
developed a strong advert, which
abides by the common 2
conventions of radio trailers. 0

17. Conclusion
Overall, gaining audience feedback for our main product and two
ancillary tasks has been insightful. We set out to gain an
understanding of whether we targeted our audience appropriately
with the right content, stylistics and imagery. We have been very
successful with audience feedback and audience’s have said that our
products all work well in provoking attention and leading them to
view the other products. We have learnt that if we were to improve
products, we could use more colour on the double page
spread, more extracts in the radio trailer and maybe slightly tweak
sound levels on the documentary. But, ultimately the audience
feedback suggests that our products have been extremely successful
with appropriate content for out targeted spectator.
