The document is a questionnaire given to an audience to provide feedback on film promotion materials for a psychological thriller film. It contains 15 questions with both open-ended and closed-ended questions about the film trailer, poster, and magazine cover. Based on the responses, the materials were generally found to appropriately convey the genre and plot while intriguing the audience about what would happen in the film. However, some responses also provided areas for improvement, such as ensuring the film title is clear in the trailer or using a voiceover to further explain the plot.

We all have good and bad thoughts from time to time and situation to situation. We are bombarded daily with spiraling thoughts(both negative and positive) creating all-consuming feel , making us difficult to manage with associated suffering. Good thoughts are like our Mob Signal (Positive thought) amidst noise(negative thought) in the atmosphere. Negative thoughts like noise outweigh positive thoughts. These thoughts often create unwanted confusion, trouble, stress and frustration in our mind as well as chaos in our physical world. Negative thoughts are also known as “distorted thinking”.

The Roman Empire A Historical Colossus.pdfkaushalkr1407
The Roman Empire, a vast and enduring power, stands as one of history's most remarkable civilizations, leaving an indelible imprint on the world. It emerged from the Roman Republic, transitioning into an imperial powerhouse under the leadership of Augustus Caesar in 27 BCE. This transformation marked the beginning of an era defined by unprecedented territorial expansion, architectural marvels, and profound cultural influence.
The empire's roots lie in the city of Rome, founded, according to legend, by Romulus in 753 BCE. Over centuries, Rome evolved from a small settlement to a formidable republic, characterized by a complex political system with elected officials and checks on power. However, internal strife, class conflicts, and military ambitions paved the way for the end of the Republic. Julius Caesar’s dictatorship and subsequent assassination in 44 BCE created a power vacuum, leading to a civil war. Octavian, later Augustus, emerged victorious, heralding the Roman Empire’s birth.
Under Augustus, the empire experienced the Pax Romana, a 200-year period of relative peace and stability. Augustus reformed the military, established efficient administrative systems, and initiated grand construction projects. The empire's borders expanded, encompassing territories from Britain to Egypt and from Spain to the Euphrates. Roman legions, renowned for their discipline and engineering prowess, secured and maintained these vast territories, building roads, fortifications, and cities that facilitated control and integration.
The Roman Empire’s society was hierarchical, with a rigid class system. At the top were the patricians, wealthy elites who held significant political power. Below them were the plebeians, free citizens with limited political influence, and the vast numbers of slaves who formed the backbone of the economy. The family unit was central, governed by the paterfamilias, the male head who held absolute authority.
Culturally, the Romans were eclectic, absorbing and adapting elements from the civilizations they encountered, particularly the Greeks. Roman art, literature, and philosophy reflected this synthesis, creating a rich cultural tapestry. Latin, the Roman language, became the lingua franca of the Western world, influencing numerous modern languages.
Roman architecture and engineering achievements were monumental. They perfected the arch, vault, and dome, constructing enduring structures like the Colosseum, Pantheon, and aqueducts. These engineering marvels not only showcased Roman ingenuity but also served practical purposes, from public entertainment to water supply.
The French Revolution, which began in 1789, was a period of radical social and political upheaval in France. It marked the decline of absolute monarchies, the rise of secular and democratic republics, and the eventual rise of Napoleon Bonaparte. This revolutionary period is crucial in understanding the transition from feudalism to modernity in Europe.

1. AUDIENCE FEEDBACK QUESTIONNAIRE We decided to devise this audience questionnaire in order to gain feedback from our target audience. To ensure we got accurate results we asked an equal amount of males and females to increase representativeness. We asked both open and closed questions to gain both qualitative and quantitative data, gaining both reliable and valid results. We also made sure we asked questions that link to all three aspects of our film promotion: film trailer, poster and magazine cover.
2.
3. 75% of all respondents claimed that they believed that our trailer, poster and magazine cover were all representative of the genre thriller and only 25% said horror. We are very pleased with these results as we understand that psychological thrillers have horror elements to them therefore some people may of perceived them as being horror. But overall we feel that from this question we can see that we have created a successful product for the genre thriller. 2. What genre do you think the film trailer, poster and magazine cover represent?
4. 3.What age rating do you think this film would be? 16 of our respondents thought that our film was rated 15 which it actually is only 2 thought it was a 12 and 2 thought it was an 18. We felt it would be helpful to ask this question as we can gain an idea of whether we have displayed the age rating clearly enough and also rated it in accordance the what the trailer conveys.
5. 4.In the film trailer, do you think the film title is shown clearly enough? Primarily, the most important aspect of a trailer is the title, if people do not remember or see the title then they will not go and see the film. Even if the trailer is aesthetically pleasing, the title is key to promoting the film. the majority of our respondents (18) agreed that the film title is shown clearly enough. However, two respondents said no. Which may show that we need to improve our trailer, by possibly showing the title for a longer period of time or make it a bigger size.
6. 5.Do you think the music in the trailer, works well in conveying the genre? The music is also a key aspect of a trailer; often the music can establish the tone and atmosphere of the trailer and therefore convey the genre. Essentially people go and watch films because they may like the certain genre, therefore we wanted to convey the genre through the music, and from this question it is clear that we have. 17 people said that it does, however 3 people said it didn't. This may be for various reasons but possibly because they don’t watch thrillers and it is not their preferred genre.
7.
8. Only a small percentage of respondents felt that our trailer needed more titles, we have included four titles in our trailer 'From the makers of...' 'Distorted' 'S.E.R. Production' 'D.I.D YOU?' and 'release data & website" therefore many felt that this was enough. 7. Do you feel the trailer needs more titles ?
9. This was an open ended question that we asked our demographic as we felt it was an important aspect. The answers revolved around: The fact that it was slightly to short for a main theatrical trailer, however perfect for a television trailer and this was the general consensus. However so me did say that the length was fine as we managed to still get many different shots in due to the fast pace. 8. What do you think of the length of the trailer?
10. 9.From looking at all three aspects of promotions for this film, do you have a sense of the film’s plot? Nearly 75% of all respondents found that they did have a sense of the films plot, which essentially is the role of a trailer. The plot and the genre are the main aspects of a trailer that influences an audience to go and see a film. Therefore by having this amount of people know the plot, they will hopefully be inclined to go and watch this film. However, a lesson from this is that 6 respondents said they did not get a sense, which may mean that a disadvantage of our work was that we didn't use a voice over as this may have explained the plot in more detail.
11. 10.Do you think the magazine cover, trailer and poster work together well in promoting the film? This question is key as all three aspects come as a package and integrate together to promote this film. Therefore we wanted the audience to question whether they work as a whole, which from the results we can assume that they do. Although four people thought they didn't again this is a closed question therefore their opinion could not have been shown.
12. 11. From watching this trailer, were you intrigued by what was to happen in the film? Out of 20 respondents, 18 said that they were intrigued by what was to happen in the film, meaning 90% of our target audience would presumably go and watch this film. This also indicates that we managed to construct our trailer in a way that doesn't give to much of the plot away that the audience know what is going to happen but we have managed to make sure our trailer prevents any twist or turns being unfolded.
13. 12. If you saw this magazine in a shop, what aspects would influence you to buy it? This open ended question focuses on the magazine cover, and the answers we got were they would be influenced by the main image, the lighting, the image of the character, the title of the film and the look of the magazine in general. We did give the option of if they wouldn’t buy it and we found that a minority claimed they wouldn’t because they felts it didn’t appeal to both genders and it didn’t have enough information about the actual film specifically.
14. 13. Would the film poster and magazine cover alone influence you to go and watch this film? This question is mainly about the influence of the film poster and magazine cover. Obviously, a trailer is the typical way to gain knowledge of a new film but we wanted to have an idea of the effect of these two elements. 75% said yes they would which we are very pleased with, we think this is because they both manage to convey the genre and aspects of the plot as well as the trailer in some ways. 5 people said no they wouldn't but this may be because trailers are the primary source and they just prefer this.
15. 15. Is the editing of the trailer aesthetically pleasing? Editing made a massive contribution to the trailer and the outcome and therefore how people perceive the trailer. Editing was what took us the time and therefore conveys the atmosphere. The editing features like dip to black and white we have justified to have meanings for example the dip to black shows her fading into darkness and fading away from her normal self. Therefore we wanted to see whether the audience felt that this was effective. 60% of respondents did think that the editing was aesthetically pleasing of which we are very pleased. However 40% of the found that it wasn't which indicates that we either didn't do as much editing as was needed or they feel that editing is not an essential part of our product.
16. 15. Overall would you go and watch this film? This is obviously a very important question as the overall point of this task is to promote a film and therefore influence people to go and watch the film. If they do approve of this film then this means we have done our job successfully. The poster, the magazine cover and trailer appears to have influenced our audience to go and watch the film as 90% of the respondents would indeed go and watch this film.
