2. As part of our research and planning for the production of our documentary,
we created questionnaires to see what our target audience knew about the
topic and what they like to see in documentaries about university fees. The
students we asked we between the age of 16 and 18 and in the majority of
their responses they said statistics, stock footage, a variety of shots, a
voiceover, music and expert interviews. We included all of these factors and
many more to satisfy our viewers. Once our documentary was complete
along with the double page spread and radio trailer we put together a

convention.

documentary to sound and look professional.

For our documentary, one of our group members volunteered to do the
voiceover which we recorded in the recording studio. This was for clarity
purposes and for it to sound more professional. We asked it the audience felt it
was informative enough, and again, they all said ‘yes’ which meant we had
included enough research and statistics to inform them of the rise in university
fees.

documentary?

knowledge on the topic of university fees for them to give detailed responses to the
questions they were being asked.

documentary?
We asked if they felt they learnt much throughout the documentary, 69%

outcome and shows we included new research and statistics which they are now
aware of most they need to know about university fees.

double page spread and followed the codes and conventions.
16. Do you feel like there was an appropriate amount of text?
We asked if they felt there was an appropriate amount of text on the double page
spread, most people said yes and some said no, this was because they felt there
were too many wide gaps between images and paragraphs which made the article
look a bit empty.
17. Does the house style fit with the documentary?
When we asked if the house style matched the documentary, the majority said yes
with two people saying no. This was still a positive outcome for us as we felt we
carried on following the house style in order for our documentary to be recognized.
