Pizza is one of the author's favorite foods since childhood. It provides protein for building tissues like hair and nails. Additionally, one slice contains 14% of the daily calcium requirement, which is good for bone health. While pizza is a nutritious choice, the author acknowledges that not everyone enjoys it and provides frozen bean burritos as an alternative. The two factors contributing to the author's good dietary habits are being diabetic and their family helping them eat right, while unplanned meals and eating at others' homes negatively impact their dietary habits.
