HOW SHOULD ONE CHOOSE BETWEEN MONOCRYSTALLINE AND MULTICRYSTALLINE PANELS?Vikram Solar
HOW SHOULD ONE CHOOSE
BETWEEN MONOCRYSTALLINE AND
MULTICRYSTALLINE PANELS?
but are confused about which type to opt for, you’re in the right place.
There’s a myriad of variables to take into account when you are investing in a
solar energy system – our job at Vikram Solar is to help you sort through them!
When it comes to choosing the most appropriate photovoltaic solar panels
for your business, you are faced with countless choices regarding quality,
performance, and price. Let’s start by considering the benefits and comparing
the different types of solar panels currently available.
Huge demand of silicon in photovoltaic cells caused a shortage of silicon which results in demand
for new technology in this field and so another revolutionary cheap method is innovated namely thin film solar
cell. In this paper, various types of thin film solar cells are reviewed. They have less efficiency and also low cost
compared to 1st generation solar cell. They are based on silicon Thin film implies that less material is used
which makes the solar cells cheaper.
Solar energy recovery has begun to take its place all over the world on the energy market due
to the pureness of its electricity production. Commercial use of solar energy is unfortunately
still rather small, mostly due to high prices and low efficiency compared to other sources.
This report presents a literary review of the developing process of solar panels. A key part in
any products prosperity lies in the product development process, the way from a products
idea to final product. In the making of solar panels knowledge in areas of engineering,
materials, structures, design, electronics, economy, marketing and much more are needed;
making the process expensive. A lot of research is put on the solar cells material to try to
increase their efficiency but very little effort is put down to the product development process
of the panels and improvement of these processes.

2024.06.01 Introducing a competency framework for languag learning materials ...Sandy Millin
http://sandymillin.wordpress.com/iateflwebinar2024
Published classroom materials form the basis of syllabuses, drive teacher professional development, and have a potentially huge influence on learners, teachers and education systems. All teachers also create their own materials, whether a few sentences on a blackboard, a highly-structured fully-realised online course, or anything in between. Despite this, the knowledge and skills needed to create effective language learning materials are rarely part of teacher training, and are mostly learnt by trial and error.
Knowledge and skills frameworks, generally called competency frameworks, for ELT teachers, trainers and managers have existed for a few years now. However, until I created one for my MA dissertation, there wasn’t one drawing together what we need to know and do to be able to effectively produce language learning materials.
This webinar will introduce you to my framework, highlighting the key competencies I identified from my research. It will also show how anybody involved in language teaching (any language, not just English!), teacher training, managing schools or developing language learning materials can benefit from using the framework.

Acetabularia Information For Class 9 .docxvaibhavrinwa19
Acetabularia acetabulum is a single-celled green alga that in its vegetative state is morphologically differentiated into a basal rhizoid and an axially elongated stalk, which bears whorls of branching hairs. The single diploid nucleus resides in the rhizoid.

2. TYPES OF SOLAR PANEL
solar panel according to their efficiency
and price:
1. Monocrystalline Solar Panels (Mono-SI)
(a)High efficiency rate
(b) optimized for commercial use
(c) high life-time value
(d) Its efficiency is around 20%
(e) Its quite expensive
3. 2. Polycrystalline Solar Panels (p-Si)

=>Categories the Different Types of
Solar Panels:
1.Single-junction and multi-junctions(1st
gen,2gen,3gen)
5. ~ The difference between the Single-junction
and multi-junctions is the number of layers on
the solar panel that will observe the sunlight.
~ The materials and efficiency is classified by
the generation of the different types of solar
panels.
Generation of solar panels are:
1}1st Generation Solar Panels
2}2nd Generation Solar Panels
3}3rd Generation Solar Panels
6. 1}1st Generation Solar Panels
These are the traditional types of solar
panels made of monocrystalline silicon or
polysilicon and are most commonly used in
conventional surroundings.
• (a ) Monocrystalline Solar Panels (Mono-SI)
7. • This is made up monocrystalline silicon that is
the purest one.
• It can be identified uniform dark look and
the rounded edges.
• It has highest efficiency rate more then 20%.
• They occupy less space and last the longest.
2} . Polycrystalline solar panel
> This type of solar panels has squares, its
angles are not cut, and it has a blue, speckled
look.
8. • Made of melting row silicon.
• Lower space efficiency and shorter lifespan.
2nd Generation Solar Panels:
Mainly used for photovoltaic power stations,
integrated in buildings or smaller solar power
systems.
1> Thin-Film Solar Cells (TFSC)
These are manufactured by placing one or
more films of photovoltaic material.
9. =>They are also flexible.
=> It is less affected by high temperatures.
Amorphous Silicon Solar Cell (A-Si)
These are mainly used as pocket calculators.
A-Si-Cells are relatively low in cost.
3rd Generation Solar Panels:
Third generation solar panels include a variety of
thin film technologies.
Most of them are still in the research or
development phase.
10. Biohybrid Solar Cell
=>The Biohybrid solar cell is one of the types of
solar panels, that is still in the research phase.
Cadmium Telluride Solar Cell (CdTe)
=>The photovoltaic technique uses Cadmium
Telluride.
=> Solar cells at relatively low cost
Concentrated PV Cell (CVP and HCVP)
=> They have high efficiency around 41%.
=> Its efficiency is increased by its curved mirror
surface and lenses.
