SABER-ICT aims to help countries improve their use of ICTs in education by providing data, analyzing policies, and documenting implementation models. It seeks to address gaps in knowledge about effective and cost-effective ICT practices by building a global database of ICT-education policies, conducting case studies of 10 countries, and creating a framework to assess policy development stages. The goal is to give policymakers tools and comparative analysis to help benchmark and improve their own countries' approaches to using ICTs in education.
