executive responsibility for Program Management, Corporate Compliance, Administration,
Human Resources, and Information Technologies. Accountable directly to Company
President for day-to-day operations, as well as execution of specific tactical and strategic
initiatives. Principally responsible for evaluation and purchase of company’s extensive
reinsurance program. In addition to other duties, appointed to position of Chief Risk Officer.

Responsible for leading a team of developers in the analysis, design, development, and
implementation of highly customized and integrated agency, policy, billing, claims, and
vendor management system. Additionally responsible for all technology-related aspects of
Company, including development of hardware/software infrastructure, development and
implementation of document imaging system and development of Company public website.

Consulting Manager, 1997-2001.
Performed and managed IT consulting services for several area businesses and government
entities, including ACT Corporation, Scott County Judicial District, Polk County Judicial
District, HON Companies, and Illinois Casualty Company, among others. Involved in a
variety of engagement activities including needs analysis, website design, project
management, and system analysis, design and implementation. Significant experience in
development of client/server systems utilizing Oracle Forms and Oracle RDBMS.

Began career with U.S. Polymeric as IT System Analyst. Responsible for implementation and
customization of ASK/MANMAN MRP system, programming in FORTRAN, Quiz, Quick and
QTP, and modifying Image databases. Progressed to IT Manager with Mac Equipment, with
continued responsibility for implementation of ASK/MANMAN system as well as overall IT
department management, then to Technical Manager with Analytical Technologies. Placed at
Compaq Computer Corporation initially working with ASK/MANMAN system then
transitioning to client/server development using Powerbuilder and Oracle RDBMS in a UNIX
environment. Hired directly by Compaq Computer to continue to perform client/server
development.
