IT Project Manager
As the IT Project Manager, I work with business executives on IT projects for the three Tulalip Tribes entities that include ; Tulalip
Gaming Organization, Tulalip Tribes and Quil Ceda Village.
Duties for website and software included managing the sprint backlog in Microsoft Visual Studio Team Foundation Server,
daily standup, sprint planning, retrospective and triaging impediments using the Scrum system. Duties for acquisitions include the
creation of a project charter, analysis of scope for build or buy decisions. Reviewing and reporting the balancing of time, cost and
quality. Implementation, retrospective and communication plans based on the PMBOK guidelines. Duties for hardware
implementations include the creation of a project charter, analysis of scope, reviewing and reporting the balancing of time, cost and
quality. Building the system, handoff and training or users and maintenance teams, retrospective and communication plans based on
project management guidelines.
Software projects include the document management system (DMS) that provides paperless office for over 2500 users,
SharePoint for collaboration for over 600 internal and external users. Software for central employment, tribal employment rights
office TERO, the three HR departments, Natural Resources, youth services, adult services, GIS, health services HIPAA software and
many others.

Acquisition projects include a back office and POS system for the Tulalip Market, implementing HIPAA compliance and
purchasing compliance software for Health Informatics - Health Clinic, Pharmacy, and behavioral health groups.
Hardware implementation projects include implementing a SharePoint 2013 environment for use by the Tulalip Tribes and
the Quil Ceda Village. Installing infrastructure servers; MS Server, SQL clusters, Windows Server farms, DSM Servers, SharePoint
farms, GIS, Azure cloud servers and other application servers.
Acting as the Scrum master, using Agile Scrum fundamental practices we build software & websites for the Tulalip Tribes
and its affiliates. The project backlog was built and maintained in TFS for the scrum teams of 4-6 developers. Our Scrum processes
include all scrum steps; requirements gathering, daily standups sprint planning, and retrospective. General projects included
maintaining release schedules, communicating project details with stakeholders, managing risks, coordinating code promotion through
all environments, and maintaining the release repository in TFS.
