  • 3. E-Learning Delivery Options Asynchronous  SCORM modules on LMS  Videos  Web pages  Etc. Synchronous  Live Online Sessions  Live Chats  Etc. Blended  Asynchronous + Synchronous  Classroom Training + E-Learning
  • 4. Focus on “Primary Purpose” and resources available to choose the most optimal e-learning option.
  • 5. Capture the practical examples and experiences shared by the trainer which are otherwise not there in the ppt etc. It is difficult for the trainer to draft these examples. The trainer may not have time to act as an SME for the e-learning module. The Instructional Designer can easily use the video as an input for designing the e- learning course. Video-Record the training program
  • 6. Make it Compelling! Training Programs are usually “group events” On-Demand E-learning courses are usually designed to be accessed “when, where and how” the learner wants. Test it before you trust it! Ensure the course runs on all devises and browsers Does not take too long to load Test on sample audience across diverse backgrounds Have “feedback” directly incorporated in the course (without using a form) Focus on the “Experience” and not just what they want to tell you. Launch the course only when the confidence on its ability to “engage” is high.

Make it Social  Keep it live-beyond the “module”  Set up focused discussion forum  Throw the ball in the arena (but moderate it)  Initiate lots of discussion  Kindle the fire initially- it burns on forever  A good discussion never dies easily  “Social” ensures voluntary collaborative learning through experiences and opinion sharing
