T&I Consultancy is a retained executive search firm in Azerbaijan, founded in 2015 by Ilham
Hajiyev, an executive search consultant with extensive international experience. During his initial
eight years executive search career at Pedersen & Partners (2007 – 2015) Ilham conducted over 150
mid and senior level search projects in 13 countries.
T&I Consultancy provides high quality talent management consultancy services to multinational
companies operating across diverse industries in Azerbaijan, Iran, Georgia, Turkey and other
countries that might have critical and highly confidential recruitment needs.
T&I Consultancy is built on several fundamental business and ethical principles. Trust and

The core executive search expertise of T&I Consultancy is based upon the firm’s Founder and
Managing Director, Ilham Hajiyev, who brings, overall, almost ten years of recruitment experience
running previously the Baku office of Pedersen & Partners, a leading international executive search
firm. As Country Manager, Azerbaijan, Ilham developed Pedersen & Partners into a major regional
firm that included also operations in Georgia and Iran he was in charge of.
During his entire career Ilham conducted over 170 mid and senior level search assignments
(General Manager, Vice-President, CxO, Regional Director, Business Unit Director,
Country Manager, Plant Manager, Heads of Department for different business functions:
Finance, Accounting, HR, Sales (Retail, Corporate, B2B), Sales & Marketing, Marketing,
Trade Marketing, Distribution, PR, Protocol, Government Relations, IT, Technology,
Supply Chain, Procurement, Operations, Production, Law, Regulatory Affairs, Product
Management, Business Development, Key Account Management, Project Management,
Ethics & Compliance, Investment, Trade Finance) in 13 countries:
Azerbaijan, Iran (second largest geography), Georgia, Turkey, UAE, Ukraine, Belorussia,

12. Team
Ilham Hajiyev is a Founder and Managing Director of T&I Consultancy. He has
more than 20 years of diversified business management experience. In 1992, he
started his professional career as a Country Representative of the US oil company,
Hallwood Energy. Later, for more than ten years, he was the Founder and General
Manager of a construction & real estate company that provided various property
management solutions (construction, renovation, design, project management,
maintenance, leasing, market research, evaluation services) to international
business and diplomatic communities in Baku. In 2007-2015, as Country Manager,
Azerbaijan, Ilham built and developed from scratch Pedersen & Partners’
operations in Baku and the region.
Ilham Hajiyev has a Master’s Degree in Finance from École Supérieure de Gestion
in Paris, France and a Master’s Degree in Legal Regulation of Economics from
Western University in Baku, Azerbaijan. His BA degree is in English Language from
the Azerbaijan State University of Languages.
In addition to his native Azerbaijani and Russian, Ilham speaks fluent English,
advanced French and Italian. He masters conversational Turkish and Persian, and
has an intermediate level comprehension of written Spanish and German.

Leyla Abdullayeva is a Research Associate at T&I Consultancy. She is a graduate of
Sociology department from Middle East Technical University in Ankara, Turkey.
Her previous experiences involve internships in SOCAR-AQS, Moody International,
Coca-Cola Bottlers and McDermott Caspian Contractors. Moreover, Leyla also
worked with several international youth organizations like Bloomberg Institute and
AIESEC in Ankara. Leyla is also a contributing writer for international youth
platform Elite Daily.
In addition to her native Azeri, Leyla speaks fluent English, Turkish and Russian.

14. Team
Nazrin Jabbarli is a Research Associate at T&I Consultancy. She graduated from
Azerbaijan State University of Languages with Bachelor degree in Translation. Her
interest in community development has led her to a number of volunteer
opportunities and leadership roles in AIESEC in Azerbaijan, international youth
organization, where she is still active. Furthermore Nazrin was involved in event
management working for BEGOC, European Games, in 2015. In addition to her
current duties as a Research Associate, she also provides afterschool tutoring and
encourages literacy in youth.
Along with her native Azeri and Russian, Nazrin is fluent in English and Turkish
languages.
