Seminar report of 3D Holographic Projection Technology (Hologram).SafwanSadi
This is the seminar report on widely used Technology based on Hologram named 3D Holographic Projection Technology.
In this report, almost all important topics covered related to Holographic projection and representation such as Reflection or reflex hologram, transmission, computer-generated holography and some advanced hologram used in real life.
This is a short presentation on the introduction to HOLOGRAPHY.
Holography is a technique that enables to make a new form of photograph called HOLOGRAMS which are 3D in view.
3D holographic projection is the technology that records and reproduces objects in a real 3D image. Tremendous effects on all fields of life including business, education, science, art, and healthcare. Holographic projection is a kind of 3D technology without wearing glasses, and viewers can see the three-dimensional virtual character.
Holographic Projection Technology COMPLETE DETAILS NEW PPT Abin Baby
This seminar examines the new technology of Holographic Projections. It
highlights the importance and need of this technology and how it represents the new
wave in the future of technology and communications, the different application of the
technology, the fields of life it will dramatically affect including business, education,
telecommunication and healthcare. The paper also discusses the future of holographic
technology and how it will prevail in the coming years highlighting how it will also
affect and reshape many other fields of life, technologies and businesses.
Holography is a diffraction-based coherent imaging technique in which a
complex three-dimensional object can be reproduced from a flat, two-dimensional
screen with a complex transparency representing amp litude and phase values. It is
commonly agreed that real-time holography is the ne plus ultra art and science of
visualizing fast temporally changing 3-D scenes. The integration of the real-time or
electro-holographic principle into display technology is o ne of the most promising but
also challenging developments for the future consumer display and TV market. Only
holography allows the reconstruction of natural-looking 3-D scenes, and therefore
provides observers with a completely comfortable viewing experience. But to date
several challenges have prevented the technology from becoming commercialized. But
those obstacles are now starting to be overcome. Recently, we have developed a novel
approach to real-time display holography by combining an overlapping sub-hologram
technique with a tracked viewing-window technology.

The intersection of railway track and the road at the same level is referred to as a level crossing. In the urban areas the level crossing is generally monitored by qualified railway personnel who monitor the train movement and close the level crossing gate to stop the interfering road traffic but such closing of gates leads to congestion in road traffic and also causes loss of time to road users. Road under bridge and road over the bridge are considered as solutions for avoiding level crossings of roads and railway track.

The Atmospheric Vortex Engine (AVE) is a process for capturing the energy produced when heat is carried upward by convection in the atmosphere. The process is protected by patent applications and could become a major source of electrical energy. The unit cost of electrical energy produced with an AVE could be half the cost of the next most economical alternative.
Artificial photosynthesis is a chemical process that replicates the natural process of photosynthesis, a process that converts sunlight, water, and carbon dioxide into carbohydrates and oxygen; as an imitation of a natural process, it is biomimetic. The term, artificial photosynthesis, is commonly used to refer to any scheme for capturing and storing the energy from sunlight in the chemical bonds of a fuel (a solar fuel). Photocatalytic water splitting converts water into hydrogen ions and oxygen and is a major research topic in artificial photosynthesis. Light-driven carbon dioxide reduction is another process studied, that replicates natural carbon fixation.

A ransomware cyber-attack that may have originated from the theft of “cyber weapons” linked to the US government has hobbled hospitals in England and spread to countries across the world. "Ransomware is a type of malware that encrypts a user’s data, then demands payment in exchange for unlocking the data. This attack was caused by a bug called “WanaCrypt0r 2.0” or WannaCry, that exploits a vulnerability in Windows. Microsoft released a patch (a software update that fixes the problem) for the flaw in March, but computers that have not installed the security update remain vulnerable."

An alloy is a mixture of metals, or a mixture of metal and another element. White metal alloys are those which are light-coloured and generally have a lead or tin base. These alloys are also known as Babbitt metal, or bearing metal, a term which is generally preferred over ‘white metals’. Babbitt metal can be one of several alloys used as a bearing surface in a plain bearing.
Ceramic bearings are typically constructed with a ferrous inner and outer ring or race with ceramic balls in the place of steel. Ceramic bearings offer many advantages over all steel bearings, such as higher speed and acceleration capability, increased stiffness, lower friction and more. Ceramic balls are also nonconductive. Ceramic bearings are available in all standard industry configurations such as, angular bearings, thrust bearing, pillow block bearing, needle bearings, and roller bearings.
Carbon foams will help to enhance capabilities and improve affordability, supporting today’s warfighter. Applications for coal-based carbon foams continue to be developed as the material is accepted as a mainstream structural building block for tomorrow’s technology. Current application examples include targeted advances in composite tooling, vehicle blast mitigation, radar absorption, and ablation panels.
Computer science is faced with many challenges as the digital universe expands. From mobile and cloud computing to data security, addressing these issues can require large, structural changes, but an examination of these problems can lead to organizational solutions and improvements in the world.

Epistemic Interaction - tuning interfaces to provide information for AI supportAlan Dix
Paper presented at SYNERGY workshop at AVI 2024, Genoa, Italy. 3rd June 2024
https://alandix.com/academic/papers/synergy2024-epistemic/
As machine learning integrates deeper into human-computer interactions, the concept of epistemic interaction emerges, aiming to refine these interactions to enhance system adaptability. This approach encourages minor, intentional adjustments in user behaviour to enrich the data available for system learning. This paper introduces epistemic interaction within the context of human-system communication, illustrating how deliberate interaction design can improve system understanding and adaptation. Through concrete examples, we demonstrate the potential of epistemic interaction to significantly advance human-computer interaction by leveraging intuitive human communication strategies to inform system design and functionality, offering a novel pathway for enriching user-system engagements.

Securing your Kubernetes cluster_ a step-by-step guide to success !KatiaHIMEUR1
Today, after several years of existence, an extremely active community and an ultra-dynamic ecosystem, Kubernetes has established itself as the de facto standard in container orchestration. Thanks to a wide range of managed services, it has never been so easy to set up a ready-to-use Kubernetes cluster.
However, this ease of use means that the subject of security in Kubernetes is often left for later, or even neglected. This exposes companies to significant risks.
In this talk, I'll show you step-by-step how to secure your Kubernetes cluster for greater peace of mind and reliability.

2. HOLOGRAM
• To understand how a holographic projector
works we need to know what a hologram is.
• Holography is a photographic technique that
records the light scattered from an object, and
then presents it in a way that appears three-
dimensional.
• The word holography comes from the Greek
words ὅλος (holos; "whole") and γραφή (graphē;
"writing" or "drawing").
3. HOLOGRAM - HISTORY
• Hungarian-British physicist Dennis Gabor
invented the hologram in 1947.
• He was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics in
1971 "for his invention and development of the
holographic method".
• Originally, used in electron microscopy, where
it is known as electron holography.
• The development of the laser enabled the first
practical optical holograms that recorded 3D
objects to be made in 1962 by Yuri Denisyuk in
the Soviet Union and by Emmett Leith and Juris
Upatnieks at the University of Michigan, USA.
